Excellent stay! Centrally located. Across the road from Westfield Mall, near the bank, Gas station etc. Clean rooms with kitchenette well stocked. All amenities needed for a family or business trip. We loved it!

Great accommodation and food breakfast. The rooms are quite large and have full kitchens. Overall a great stay. There were a few dogs who made some late night noise, but it was short-lived.

We attended a concert in sunrise and picked the Residence Inn base on positive reviews and they did not disappoint! The staff was super friendly including the desk reps, the cleaning staff, and even the breakfast attendants! We stay in room 224 and it was super super nice. It even had dishes and silverware in the room. The bed was very comfortable and clean. If I had to find any bad thing, it was that the bath tub drain was missing an O-ring so the water didn't stay in the tub but that was it! There was even a beautiful cat hanging out that was super friendly (pet friendly hotel)! We were very happy with this place!

Very friendly employees. Bfast is more than adequate with alot of options from oatmeal to eggs to waffles. We had a one bedroom suite, which was good overall. A little bit of need for repainting, and the configuration was a little wacky with the doors blocking walking paths, but overall the use of space was best they could do and the place gets the job done. Very comfy beds.

Spacious rooms that were poorly kept. Seemed to have what looks like fleas in the bathtub. The toilets didn't flush properly, we called maintenance about the issue and they didn't fix it. We had to call on different occasions about the same issue. They left the toilet dirty after fixing it. The room smelled like mold. The hallway carpets were dirty for the duration of our stay. The breakfast was below standard in comparison to other Residence Inns that I have stayed. It was overall a horrible experience and certainly not up to the Marriott standard.

Ugh! Lots of issues: checked in & went to room to find the door locked from inside & a maintenance person inside room fixing something! He walked me to front desk, explained I needed a new room. Front desk waited on all new arrivals & then got to me, but by then didn't understand why I needed another room! I finally got new room only to find my new room w/ head of bed right next to laundry room that was used constantly. It was also a smaller room & smaller bed than what I had requested & had first. I kept the room, not wanting to be argumentative. I was registered for whole week but on 2nd night BOTH of my keys stored separately stopped working. After schlepping all of my work things back to front desk & waiting for someone to acknowledge me, I explained my keys were not working & I was holding my dinner that would be getting cold soon. Woman took them, went into a back room out of sight for 5 minutes then came back out handing them to me saying "here you go". I took them & asked what happened & she said she had no idea but that I must have done something to deactivate them! Seriously? I travel a lot & have never deactivated two keys or even one for that matter. Someone was smoking marijuana for first two days inside this "non-smoking" facility & entire wing of hotel smelled quite strong for two solid days. I don't care if folks light up, just don't like having to walk through it & take on that smell just for being there.

This is a good Residence Inn despite being an older building. Wifi worked reliably and rooms were updated with new looking fixtures and furnishings. The hotel provides a light dinner service and free breakfast. Other amenities include a pool, hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor basketball court (one hoop only). The only issue I can see is that if you have a cat allergy, there are cats that roam the outdoor area near the hotel.

Pretty standard residence inn, which is good, overall. Employees were all very courteous and helpful. Room was clean and furnished with what you need. One thing could be addressed: the doors don't have any hydraulic speed control for closing. I happened to spend two nights next to Sammy McSlam-Face who was in and out of his room every 5 minutes as part of a multi room party. The walls have soundproofing but the doors don't so rowdy hallway guests are quite noticable.

Stayed 3 months when Mom"s Condo under restorations. We stayed on 10th Floor direct Ocean Views Spacious Studio has 2 double beds & a convertible couch & Ktchen Area to prepare meals & Complimentary Breakfast & Courteous Staff.

Staff is awesome. Breakfast was good. Mixer is fun. Rooms super clean.

Staff was extremely nice, friendly, and helpful. Housekeeping was wonderful, the cleanliness of my room each day was far beyond my expectations. Great amenities. Everything I needed for a 2-week stay.

My out of town family stayed here for my destination wedding and we all just loved how clean and big the rooms are and easy to get in and out. It turned out to be really convenient because there's a big mall next door and lots of restaurants near by for us to meet. The highways are also near by. It made it really quick to get to our ceremony and reception! Staff were all super friendly.

My husband is staying at this hotel because he is working on the hurricane relief. I have visitied him twice in that 3 month span, once alone and once last week with our kids for Thanksgiving. The staff is amazing! The hotel is very well kept and clean. Very thankful for the staff and members of this hotel.

We stayed here during mandatory evacuation from hurricane Irma. My main concern was the generators and as you can see in the pictures they where household size. We lost power and the generators did not work. I have an 88 year old mother and they handed me 2 bottles of water, one for her and one for me. The staff left the premises and returned the next day. It is dirty, staff and manager have no notion of what customer service is. When I asked for an extra blanket they didn't have any left. We took our chances and left the crappy motel the morning after the hurricane. And the rooms were $139.00 per night. FEMA sent us there.

Rooms were clean, front desk was welcoming and accommodated our requests for room swaps! Breakfast was standard but the eating area was always clean; can get a little congested on the weekends. Overall a good stay for a few days!

I had a very quick overnight stay. The staff was great at checking us in quickly, the rooms were comfortable, quiet, and clean. No complaints at all.

Not the best experience. Called to confirm reservation and was informed that my room was upgraded to a more spacious two bedroom suite. Got there and was downgraded at check in with no explanation or apology from front desk agent. Room was not clean, dry blood in one of the pillows and dirt in the tub. Will never stay here again.

I spent one night in Room 129. Room is fairly updated. Looks clean in general, but you can find some hairs in bathroom and dirty spots. Bed is ok. Noisy lobby due to basketball tournament event in the area. The one major issue is that the whole room reeked of cigarette smoke. Like being inside an ashtray. Extremely unpleasant for a non-smoker. Reception clerk was very polite but could not change room due to hotel being fully booked. Not sure if all rooms are similar, but I will not be taking another chance.

Wonderful place to stay while in fort Lauderdale… Clean environment, courteous and friendly staff… Residence inn Marriott in fort Lauderdale feels like home away from home. The rooms are clean and the furniture are well kept with comfortable spaces… Pool and hot tub are kept clean and inviting… Meals are served hot and well prepared. A well equipped gym is available for use 24 hrs, my son enjoyed showing his skills at the hoop. There's an available shuttle made available for use on and around the area. Response from the team to requests made were quick. The experience was divine… Keep up the good work…

Staff was very rude when asked for a extra pillow, stated the hotel does not have any more, just 3 per room.

The location was great, away from the busy road yet close to restaurants and shops. The bed was a bit firm for me but the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The grab and go breakfast is just that, grab a muffin and a breakfast bar, a cup of coffee or hot cocoa… and go. Staff was friendly and seemed to really care that our stay was enjoyable.

It's a great location. It was the cheapest we could find for over the holidays. The staff is very friendly, but the breakfast consists of wrapped corner store muffins, the pool isn't open late and it's all a bit underwhelming for the price.

Room is good, a/c is strong, fridge and kitchen equipment works well. You need to ask for utensils and cooking paraphernalias and there are times that some of them are on loan on other rooms. Wifi is fast however there are times of the day that it slows down.

Very convenient. Not to far from the high way including it's right across the street from the fountain mall. Very decent hotel room. Including outdoor swimming pool. The property is very well maintained.

This is by far the worst place I've stayed in. I don't even know where to start… — Dirty pool -room smells like dirty socks — No Hot water -Crap ass Tv -Wifi slow Af If you ever think about staying here. DON'T.!

When you're a road warrior and have stayed in countless hotels, this is exactly what you're looking for! A clean, spacious room with a full kitchen. If your main concern is not the room, go find a place with that huge lobby and a gift shop because my need is to sleep comfortably and store my own chilled food and drinks in a full size frig.

It is a really comfortable place to live in. I have come here for a 3 months stay and its been really nice place to live uptil now. The rooms as advertised are well equipped with all the necessary utensils, toaster, Coffee maker, Iron board etc making for a convenient long stay. Its close by to a lot of shopping places, malls, food outlets. The staff are extremely courteous and always happy to help.

Cheap… Personal sometimes is not so plesant as expected. Housekeeping is only once a week. Internet is very slow. Brackfast is not breakfast.

Was OK for the price. Has everything you need. They charge $5 to do your room. No gym. Didn't even try and eat the breakfast. Limited lobby services.

Across the street from the Broward Mall (w/new Regal Movie Theater) and local shopping center with great restaurants. Rooms are spacious with small kitchen. Outside of windows needs to be cleaned. Offers 'Grab N Go Breakfast' (Muffin or bagel, a fruit, juice). Great location in good neighborhood.

Clean room. Close to shopping mall. They could've at least put some complimentary waters in the refrigerator though.

Very close to mall, resturants and great shops. Hotel does need a bit of facelift though.

I actually was surprised by the cleanliness and size of the room and its kitchen area. I've always avoided staying at these hotels because I expected them to be not of the best standard. Had to stay here last minute for one night. I would not recommend anyone to stay here if they value their morning sleep. The walls are extremely thin. I could hear the maid hollering for room service at the other end of the floor. I could also hear her entire conversation with another maid while she was in a room nearby. All of this on top of the noise from grass cutters outside.

We stayed in the hotel for a week in early February. The location is very central to Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Springs, and Weston. Shopping and restaurants are very close by and easily accessible. There is a small kitchen with cooking utensils in the room and also grab and go breakfast downstairs and laundry facilities. For the price, it is a good place to stay for a week. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I talked to Rose when I made the reservation and asked for a clean and quiet room. We were not disappointed. The only thing is that the washing machines and dryers need cleaning.

First off, I was surprised on my entrance as to how cheap the inside looked compared to the building exterior. The decor and everything looked super old and not attractive. I swear the elevator cable was going to snap when I rode the elevator up to the third floor. When I got to my room I was surprised how run down the bathroom looked in general. There was NO shampoo or paper towels in the kitchen. In the morning I went to get breakfast in the lobby (I wouldn't even call that small space a lobby) only to find a few pieces of fruit, granola bars, and oatmeal with ZERO hot water that the staff did not even care to refill. That is a really pathetic breakfast and I was not happy. Also, during my entire stay I got NO room service! I came back to the room many times hoping they would have gone in there to make the bed and clean things up, but nope. I was not happy with the hotel at this point and didn't think it could get much worse, but boy was I wrong! On my second night I was laying on the queen I hadn't slept on the night before and I look to might right to see a bug next to my head. I look closer and it was a damn bed bug. I get up to see another crawling around on the bed. I call the front desk and tell the overnight lady (can't remember her name, but she was African American with an accent) and she tells me she doesn't have any other rooms for me to stay in then goes silent. So she just expected me to say "ok" and just go to bed?

We rate this hotel very high because we don't like Marriott type hotels where you have to pay through the nose and tip for everything. Here, once you pay the overnight charge, everything is free. The pet fee is a little stiff but they do allow pets. This one has Refer, Kitchen, Dishes for 2, Hard Plastic glasses, Coffee stuff, Soap, No Shampoo, Free Local Calls, Free Wi-Fi Internet and adequate parking for autos. Everything was clean and the water was hot. The staff was friendly and very helpful. No eggs for breakfast but there was oatmeal, muffins and fruit to go. Walk to Broward Mall. It's 20% more than our other favorite, Homestead, but that one was bought out and ruined.

Good place for the money. Great staff. My wheel's were stolen off of my new truck in the parking lot though. Left it sitting on blocks.

We checked in at this hotel because of a misunderstanding. Were then but absolutely not disappointed: helpful staff, large room, and absolute cleanliness. The kleineDistanz to several good restaurants did the rest. Kitchen spices in the room only a rather strong smell was annoying (all the rooms have a small kitchen, the must have seasoned probably very strong predecessor). All in all but a cheap and good alternative to the priceless (and occupied) Hotels on the beaches.

Great appearance but needs improvement on service. Was told by front desk they have parking for tractor-trailors, but dont. They have no ice machine so you have to make it in fridge. They have no change machine for laundry room. If you are a trucker that sleeps during daytime and drives at night, dont stay here.
