Great location, close to Disney springs.
Nakeem and Anibal are so knowledgeable and professional. They fixed the hvac unit in the room. The hotel is very clean and well managed. All the staff took very good care of us. Good food and great service. Can’t wait to come back!
Excellent location near restaurants, Starbucks, and souvenir shopping plus a great resort. Conference capacity is amazing!
We had the best stay at the Sheraton! The pool was amazing and our bartenders Tamara and Billy were the absolute BEST! I can’t wait to come back and stay here again!
Employees were very nice, many do not speak English but are friendly.
CJ the security guard, and Castelle helped us out a lot during our time here. So did the front office staff Everyone was very nice.
Great hotel! Perfect for an affordable stay close to Disney!
Nice staff nice place for events.
Beautiful place, very attentive staff.
Although a bit dated, the service was great. The executive chef Scott made sure we were taken care of. Will definitely book again!
As a local I used Resortpass to get a pool day. The staff is extremely friendly, treat us just like guests who are staying there. The bar & grill staff by the pool is amazing too.
Bed bugs, BEWARE! Management does nothing about it, doesn’t own up to it, doesn’t take responsibility of it, not even the courtesy of a return phone call as was told. Melanie and Shady (managers) just blew me off as if it didn’t happen. I have photos to prove it and the clinic and pharmacist said they were bug bites. I paid out of pocket for medicine and creams to soothe the itching and pain. Unprofessional and wouldn’t recommend this place, all negative comments for my stay. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Excellent customer service Mr Michael one of the manger he has excellent customer service.
Just spoke with Lena who works there. She was amazing. Wonderful personality and very professional. I hope her management see's this. They need more like her.
Clean rooms, staff courteous and polite.
When you arrive make sure you schedule when you get your room cleaned. It's not automatic. The bathroom was not clean. The beds do not have a comforter. The rooms are a bit dated. The manager was very rude when I told her about the promotion I got in Booking. Com and she was very unhelpful, she literally throws me the papers with attitude. Unfortunately it was a nightmare. Not recommended at all! The staff should get a training to offer better costumer service. I will tell all my close friends and family about this horrible experience. Definitely better options for that overpriced rooms.
Dirty. Ants in my bathtub. Trashed floors and elevators. Dated carpet, dated everything actually. Plus they fleece you with their parking fees. This is not in some coveted location—the parking lot is just a parking lot, and they just want your money. You can only get your room clean if you go out of your way and ask for it. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a Sheraton and we will not be returning.
I will start off by saying this hotel is a great location if your visiting Disney! The rest is not even worth the small amount you're saving by not staying at a Disney resort. When we checked in they asked if I wanted maid service at any point. I say yes, half way through our week stay will be fine. Then the other person working check in said, they automatically will come in and clean after 3 days anyway. So I said perfect. That works out. 3 days came and went with no cleaning/restocking anything. I called the front desk and they said I had to request it, which I clearly did. They apologized and brought more towels up right away, did not offer to clean the next day. The room was not the cleanest room to begin with. Our air conditioner didn't work. Blowing cool-ish air, but soooo humid in our room. The real kicker, we all left with 100s of flea bites. Didn't discover what they were until we saw dogs in the hotel on our floor and had one night left. They were everywhere once we really starting looking at everything. My son got the worst of it. After staying for a week and dealing with all of these issues, they only compensated us 3 days off of parking and ignored that there is a huge bug issue. I really did expect more from a Sheraton. Will NEVER stay again. And will most definitely not let anyone I know make the same mistake we did.
Looking for a great place to stay. This is prefect. Family friendly. Check in host were great. I’d definitely stay again if in the area. The prices for rooms are very reasonable.
The hotel is listed as a 4 star resort and the cleanliness was more like a 2 star MOTEL! The website offered spa treatments (which is why we booked this resort) once we got there they informed us that it was closed for remolding, they should’ve had that updated. My main problem was after we checked out we were charged over $200, I called to ask about the charge and they said it was normal hotel fees. When we paid for our reservation in full beforehand it had hotel fees already included so I wanted to know what the $200 came from. They gave me the run around and said it was for their amenities and shuttle service to the theme parks. Which we did not take advantage of the shuttle service even though it is listed online as a FREE service we are being charged for a free service that we did not even use. Overall the hotel was way over priced for what it was. And they try to take your money any way they can. Not worth it!
Family friendly, Kids enjoyed it the most.
Very bad hotel. Do not recommend.
I have stayed here twice. Both experiences not great. The front desk is always extremely rude and basically argue with each other over who is going to help the next customer checking in. My first stay we got to our room and the refrigerator was not working and our ac was not working, so we had to call in maintenance multiple times. This time we woke up at 1 am with no ac again, I called down to the front desk to let them know. She asked if I wanted to send someone up and I said yes, to which she responded whoops I messed up there is nobody here for maintenance until 8 or 9 in the morning. I said can I speak to the manager, this is my second stay here with no ac, she said the manager won’t be in until 8 or 9 either. I asked if customers don’t check in until 4pm and they checkout by 11 why would the manager be working a 9-5 the exact opposite hours of when his customers are here. This place is a joke.
The pool and cabanas are awesome. Our server Nicole was great. It was busy and she was very attentive.
So enjoyed our stay we are already ready to go back for a weekend stay. Peaceful, Romantic, and Relaxing Atmosphere. Very Clean Friendly Staff Excellent Breakfast and let's not forget the Restaurant with Bar 🍻😋
5 Star Resort from my Family and I.
Absolutely loved our stay the hotel was beautiful, well kept and very clean! Everyone was friendly and helpful and location was PERFECT! We will be coming back and I definitely recommend staying here for family oriented vacations!
Awesome place I definitely would recommend this place.
They were very short staffed. And when we checked into our room it smelled very odd like cherries. This hotel is very outdated… but that’s not the bad part. We found a large toenail next to the bed as soon as when walked in… The pool is good tho. But no kitchen so no food. It was always extremely noisy.
Very clean and friendly staff! Close to lots of restaurants and Disney attractions :). My daughter and I were on a girls trip and we decided we will defiantly go back with the family.
The hotel. Is ok and conveniently located but the elevators (building 4 only has one elevator and it is eternal) need to be fixed, the doors get jammed, no coffee in the room, the coffe. Malers was broken, they are short on staff, cleaning crew never even picked up the garbage, etc.
However, the pet poly is a plus and the staff was friendly. Like I previously mentioned, nice hotel, lots of potential but they need some improvement.
It’s nasty. I travel all the time and look past a lot of things but during the pandemic, I expect at the very least not to see the nasty in my face. Hair and dirt marks in the bathroom are evidence that the bathroom wasn’t cleaned. It’s the sheraton not a motel 6 for goodness sakes!
Honestly, the hotel was okay but the negligence of the staff afterwards has me HEATED. They charged my card an additional $300+ because they couldn’t see prior to me checking out that I had already paid. Upon checking in I gave the hotel manager my receipt (paid through a 3rd party) and even gave him a copy. I know have to wait over a week for money they shouldn’t have taken from my account in the first place. Why would I have been able to stay a total of 4 nights without having paid prior? Seems like there was a major lack of common sense and solely because of this I wouldn’t stay here again.
The room was very clean and comfortable.
It's a great place to stay and we will be back. The guest service was great.
We have stayed twice now. The rooms are SO comfortable and extremely quiet. Which was a big deal having small children. The pool and staff are amazing. Would recommend to anyone and will be back very soon!
The staff is really nice and the pool is a great size. Great place to visit.
A bit dated but the pool area is nice. Large rooms but still needs some updates.
I love this place. The pool and all the different places inside.
Tried to cancel reservations due to coronavirus and we were told no. They are cleaning more. Now hearing that Disneyland is close. This will probably happen to Disney World! And 7 WDW firefighters under quarantine! I do not want to stay here! I want to cancel the reservations& get refunded in full!
Great place, loved the stay, highly recommend.
The reason I recommend this hotel is because of 3 amazing staff members! We (and about 12 other family members! ) have been coming for years, like over 10, and absolutely adore Thierry (Zest), Chris (activities), and the tiki bars adorable blonde who has been there forever! I apologize for not remembering her name. All 3 of them go above and beyond for us and we are so appreciative! The rooms and hallways really need an overhaul and some TLC but they are clean and the beds are comfy. We will be back in 3 months!
Even with windows closed still heard everything outside charged for resort fee which when booking they said. But they charge for parking which Is wrong. Ur staying at a hotel were r u suppose to put ur car. Plus service charge everything ordered.
Be ready to pay extra fifty dollars more per day of stay. They ridiculously charge you for parking and for using their facilities. Stop charging for using facilities.
Great service! Helpful and friendly staffs!
Great place. Helpful staff. Very convenient. Terrianne at the front desk was wonderful.
Wonderful place have been there at least 18 times and no we don’t have a time share I would highly recommend.
Very nice hotel, room clean and quiet, swimming pool ❤️and staff is great.
Convenient for shop and foods. The best hotel.
I really recommend this hotel. Super clean big bedrooms. Clean pool. Nice jacuzzi. I have lot to speak about but you guys new to come end job this nice hotel. But don’t forget Reservation — с Carolina Guzman.
Very good hotel and family and dog friendly. Our second time and still very great service.
Nice hotel great locations by all popular restaurants. Very clean and comfortable beds.
Friendy staff, Spacious rooms, Need discount options for Disney, although there is plenty of things to do in Orlando other than theme parks. We absolutely enjoyed the Pools, Water slides, &Food.
The staff were all very kind and helpful. Great place for a vacation.
Very clean and very friendly staff. Nice pool and close to a lot.
The room was clean, but to noice. The noice of the buses for the tour wake up us very early. No good at all. The cotails expensive and not good at all.
Do not stay here! They allow their cleaning staff to steal a little girls I-Pad while she is on vacation and will not take blame or compensate for it. Terrible communication and unprofessionalism ranging from the on duty managers, security office and the insurance office. I urge anyone that considers staying here to imagine if that was your 3 year old daughter who had her stuff stolen, how would that make you feel?
The price point for the type of property was perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful. Julio went above and beyond to help out at check in. The water slide is great. I wish they had more than a buffet for breakfast.
Pay for parking. Close to the parks. Regular hotel experience. I was put in a hallway that smelled like paint. I waited in line for a long time to check in, in stead of a manager helping me check on she just returned to counting receipts. The pool is really cool.
This hotel was very clean, convenient location to food, shops and theme parks. It is also very kid friendly. This hotel had a great pool area as well. The only drawback is you have to pay a fee to park your car each day and they had no continental breakfast. However, I would still come back.
The hotel is an older one, but they have kept it up and is in great condition. I am sure it has had several renovations over years to keep it modern. The staff was very helpful and the room was in excellent condition and very clean. Great place to stay if you are going to Disney. It is very close and a great value compared the resorts on Disney property.
Great atmosphere! The staff is wonderful and very happy to help you. The pool and amenities were great. Clean rooms, lots of daily activities to do at the resort. Close to all the Disney parks, Sea world, and tons of shopping. Kids loved the pool and fire pit. I would definitely look at staying here again. Only reason I didn't give 5 * is you get hit with parking per day charges $15 or $21 if you use valet. They also get you for $23 a day for 2 bottles of water and coffee for your machine in room. That seemed excessive to me. That's my only complaint if you will.
I normally love this place. However, the last 3 times I have stayed here, I have had extremely long times to wait while my room was either being cleaned or inspected. I'm currently waiting again for an hour and a half — and still waiting. They need a bigger cleaning staff or something. Signed one unhappy long-term Starwood Preferred cardholder.
This hotel is very close to Disney Springs. There are a lot of restaurants and shops nearby which is very convenient. Nice pool. Friendly staff and large parking lot. But this hotel definitely needs to work on cleanliness. The rooms are dated, smell funky and the bathrooms are very small. The sheets had multiple brown stains. One of the shower towels had a huge hole which is unacceptable. Their were red ants and other bugs in the room. Although this hotel is conveniently located, I wouldn't recommend it.
Awesome customer service. Can't say enough about the employees. Had a great experience. Room was super clean, comfy beds. Close to many restaurants, Walgreens and 7-11 are close by. Id stay here again!
Stay was wonderful! They accommodated us when we arrived at 2am, the housekeeping people were really nice courteous. The pool area was really loud however. If you prefer a quiet stay I recommend asking them for somewhere away from that area.
Pretty sad place; very tired and in need of a major face lift. Surrounded by any number of modern hotels and resorts for the same money or less. Watch out for the daily resort fee of $24 (this is NOT a resort in any way, shape, or manner) and $16/day for self parking. I would never stay here again and will never visit Orlando again. It's an overpriced tourist trap that quit trying to please some time ago. Still haven't found good, healthy food in a restaurant yet; and I don't expect I will. Can't wait to leave.
The rooms and amenities were nice. We were there for a week long convention. The food was mediocre at best. As we were checking in (note there were 250 + in our convention plus regular guests) and there was ONE person at the check in desk. Another person came up but you could tell the first person who had been working alone for sometime was just exhausted, but kept greeting guests. Now the absolute best part was Travis in Valet. He absolutely made the entire stay wonderful. He was leaving during our stay to go on vacay and myself and another guest made him little gift bags to let him know how much we appreciated all his friendly efforts.
Nice hotel pool is great. Staff is very nice. Rooms are nice. Only water pressure is minimal in showers … Hotel fees and parking are a little high for the hotel. Besides that we will come back … Recommended for kids and families not Single people.
Excellent service. I loved their facilities and activities especially in the pool area. Highly recommended.
If you come here you want Aaron Jones to clean your room or supervise those that do. Not only is he super friendly and helpful but he really cares about your experience at the hotel. You can tell he really cares about his job and making sure everyone is satisfied and happy.
They state that, "At Sheraton we are committed to going above and beyond to ensure you have the best stay possible. Our associates are dedicated to delivering the highest standards of service, be that grand gestures or thoughtful small touches. " NOT EVEN CLOSE! This hotel was absolutely disgusting & personnel could care less. We were told they had free shuttle from the airport to the hotel. We had to pay $60. Our room was dirty upon arrival. The room was advertised as sleeping 8. Actually it would only sleep 6 adults. Mattress on the sofa bed was disgustingly filthy & uncomfortable. Twin bunk beds are hard as rock. It would have been more comfortable sleeping in a car. Each day we had to call down to have our room cleaned… Of the 13 day stay, the room was partially tended 10 days… as in we received towels. Beds were not made up each day, sheets were NEVER CHANGED! I put a pencil mark in the corner. "BLACK MOLD" in the bathroom surrounding the vent, the ceiling and two walls. We were told they would not and could not take care of it until it was vacant and they had no rooms available. So why did you put us there in the first place? We asked if a sister property was available. Yes but we would have to pay the difference in hotels. WoW The hotel promotes a "Free Shuttle Bus" to and from the parks. The bus is out of Department of Transportation Regulations with exhaust leaking into the cabin causing several of us to get sick.
Great location to visit theme parks. Very good price-quality ratio. The rooms have minibar, the mineral water in bottles is free and the attention very good. There are two large pools in the central courtyard, one with a slide being tube. Also a bar with dressing gown on the patio. In general the hotel is not modern but yes it is cozy.
Very good atmosphere, clean very good service from the staff, good location the most beautiful is the pool. The only thing a little bad is that the people who clean the rooms if they were not forgetting something was the other but I would recommend…
Beautiful place to stay. Very close to many attractions. Front desk staff are very courteous and Paul the housekeeper and Wilson the bartender are so nice and helpful! I'm here for an extended amount of time and couldn't be happier with this location. Clean and beautiful.
This resort honestly is a one star I am staying at the location right now and did not get what was promised at all. I am SPG platinum member and this is the first time I have not got the room I needed. I have an 13 month old and requested a crib MULTIPLE TIMES WHEN CALLING IN and was rest assured that it would not be an issue. After driving 17 hours in a car we arrived at the property being told there is NO CRIBS AVAILABLE. I’m sorry where would you like me to put my child to sleep. My bathroom door does not close properly and her hands keep getting jammed in the door because she does not have a crib. My vacation has only just started and unfortunately I can certainly say that it will be the worst. I spoke to a manager before coming who said he noted everything but obvious nothing was noted.
We usually go here a lot but this last time we stayed it was not pleasant. I had 5 rooms reservation for the whole family. Got there at 3 which is the check in time. Our room wasn't ready and the room wasn't available until 4:40 pm. Which is ok because we chilled out by the pool. Since our room wasn't available right away I asked if I can have a late check out since I'm a spg gold member anyway and they told me to call them in the morning. Got up early the next day so I can call if I can have a late check out and the operator named Diane was very very rude answering when I called so I talked to a manager and the manager can only give me one room late check out. So I was mad so my husband called back and talked to manager and this time the manager ok it for all the room late check out at 1 pm. We just wanted a little bit more time so the kids can go swimming a little longer. My sister went back to the room and the keys are not working anymore and this is at 12. So I called and the operator name Diane answered it again with a very rude attitude. I never heard anyone so rude that works for Sheraton, she was so rude!
It was just very bad experience and I don't think I will be back anytime soon!
Very comfortable bed, clean room, fun pool. The staff at the front desk is the most amazing everyone else seems to lack training, professionalism, and guest service experience. I tipped housekeeping and they left me 1 cup, didn't replace the water bottle or the shampoo and conditioner. Thisnproperties has a lot of potential to be great but seems to lack the right leadership.
This hotel features a convenient location to the mall, Disney, and restaurants. When we first arrived (in the afternoon/early evening), we were told told that there was not a room ready yet. About an hour later, we received a message from the hotel saying that our room was ready. This hotel has clearly undergone renovations since we have last visited (which we were aware of beforehand). While it is an improvement from the previous design and decor, some of the hotel could still improved. I will say, however, that the pool area is much improved over the previous look. One of the other positive aspects was that the staff was friendly. As I previously noted, this hotel has a convenient location with friendly staff, and if you are looking for a place to stay (that doesn't need to be fancy), this hotel will do.
I stayed here for 3 nights while attending a work meeting at the resort. I am sure there are great places to stay all around the Orlando area but I would be surprised if any have a staff as friendly as those who work at this Sheraton. The food was as expected from a hotel but there are plenty of places near by to eat at if you are looking for something better than just "good"
Nice hotel with big room and beds were very comfy. Nice view overlooking the pool. The only problem was checked in late night Fri Feb 02 and this was the lineup at the desk. Took 20 minutes to reach the front desk. Manager was not anywhere to be seen. No one came up to apologize for such a slow check in process. Overall good.
Security and customer safety is a big thing here at the Sheraton. Great customer service friendly and very by the books. Trans friendly. I definitely would return and stay here. Rooms where nice nothing to special. But facility was clean and it looks like breakfast is a grand big thing so don't miss it.
I went to visit my family Q stayed there, the rooms were nice and clean.
It's a nice hotel, just not upscale. Staff are very friendly and the food is good. The pool is nice and the location is very close to local attractions and lots of restaurants. This would be a good place to stay with a young family. I would recommend getting a pool side room as the street side is very noisy.
This place is not a 4 star hotel. I would give it a 4 star MOTEL, maybe. We were told we would get a "view of the city" from our room. Oh well we sure did get the view directly into the dumpster! Bath tub has mold lining on the side. The toilet doesn't flush. And the environment is out dated and looks like a 1970s motel. Do not pay more than 50 dollars for this! save your $$$$
It was very nice but very expensive. The service was nothing special so we paid for it.
Basic but clean, well-maintained and very comfortable (esp. The beds! ). Up to the usual Sheraton standard. Pools are great for families. Can't beat the location for convenience if you want to do both Disney and Universal in one trip.
Total nightmare. We arrived 12/20/17 and moved rooms 4 times in one day. Needed handicap assessable rooms and didn’t get it. So we had to be moved around. When we finally got into a handicap room At about 3:30am a HUGE ROACH ran across the dresser, and ended up in my mother’s purse. She hurt her self trying to get away from the roach… it was then on the covers and you could hear it when it hit the ground. We called the front desk They just moved us into another building (walked outside) and it had the king bed and couch. Crumbs on the bedside table, as well as spots and stuff on the floor. The room was ran down. So we had to call them yet again and let them know we had two queen beds in our room and they needed to fix it. The front NEVER apologize, one lady said she was going to take the resort fee off for us, which was never done. The manager never apologized or took anything off for our stay. We was told “Its Florida there’s going to be bugs” bugs understandable. But a ROACH is unacceptable, and something should’ve been done. The whole stay was an inconvenience. We ended up moving to a new hotel Down the street. Don’t stay at this location!
The staff were very friendly and eager to help. They definitely helped make my life easier on a very hectic trip! Beautiful hotel, nice rooms, pools/hot tubs were fantastic, and the games and movies in pool area just made it so welcoming. Great place, if you can afford it… :)
Stayed there again last weekend. Great staff, very professional. Nice rooms. We love the two hot tubs and the fire pit next to the pool are for lounging. It is also in a great location. We will be back.
As of now, We aresitting in the parking lot waiting for our room. We reserved the room a week ago and our check in time is at 3. It is currently almost 4 PM and the room is still not ready. The staff at the front fest cannot give us a time yet of when it will be ready. The staff at the front desk so far has been friendly and not rude. I asked for a couple of free bottles of water and they gave them to us. The least they can do in my opinion. Quite frankly, if I paid for the room it should be available for me at check in time. If it's ready soon, I won't make a big fuss, if it's not ready by 4:30 PM, then I will. I will write a new review later once I've stayed the night, but so far, I am not impressed.
A very good hotel and close to the Vineland outlets.
Good location for access to the parks. Nice pool. Comfortable rooms. It is not luxurious but it does very well for those who come for a walk in the parks. It is very close to the Vineyard outlet mall to buy cheap. My visit was very positive.
The hotel room was great. Very spacious with a nice view overlooking the pool and bar area. The hotel sat right on a busy strip with plenty of places to eat. The hotel overall was very clean with optional valet parking. I would definitely choose this hotel again in the future.
Seen on the parking fro compressor noisier than a truck under the room that say amazing for a hotel of this standing.
Dated. Windows not insulated therefore feel the road running through the room. Parking expensive. Pool OK. Transfer to Disney already an adventure (bus and driving style)
Comfortable hotel to visit the surrounding theme parks. You have to remember that we are in Florida and the Climaumido and proximity of the nearby water sources inevitably bring some unwanted guest into the rooms: but there is to say that the staff is very helpful in solving some problems.
It is a good hotel to be close to the theme parks, easy to get to and in the surroundings there are all kinds of restaurant, shops, supermarkets its location is excellent, the hotel very nice, the rooms food breakfast very American I liked the stay At this hotel and it's comfortable for kids.
Older hotel. Room has a distinct odor, but for $80 per night I wasn't going to complain. Has a nice pool area but needs a better cleaning staff. Booked a room for two nights and got in late the first night and just crashed. Took showers before we left and hung up the towels. Upon returning after a long day all towels were gone and no new shampoo or soap in the room. Had to go downstairs to request some. Finally looked around the room and saw this (see picture) stuck to the toilet, I didn't buy a bathing suit. It has become clear to me that the staff really doesn't clean the room. I will not stay here again.
Room was clean, up to date and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Location is convenient to theme parks. The resort itself has plenty to offer on property in the way of restaurants, pools, and a spa. Great location for business meetings too.
Long time to check in… rooms not available!?
Betty at guest check in was not helpful AT ALL!
Nice pool, but kids jumping into the hot tub while adults are trying to relax…
27 Palms pool bar was very good, nice staff there.
Nice rooms but too many hidden costs makes your deal a Bad Deal.
Room was decent, their were stains on my sheets and I am assuming bleach on the couch. Gym was very nice. Checked in late at night and staff was very friendly. However checking out there was only one lady at the counter and about 5 people ahead of me. I felt that better scheduling of staff would have prevented me from having to wait 20 minutes just to drop off my room key. Not quite sure if my stay here was worth the money, however I viewed it as just a bed to stay in for the night before I went to the Residence in at SeaWorld that I found was cheaper, had no parking fee ($15.00), a friendlier staff, and complimentary breakfast. And my sheets were actually clean at that hotel. It wasn't the most enjoyable stays I have had, but it wasn't terribly too awful.
Wi-Fi is barely functional and goes out for hours at a time. Saying the rooms are dated is… Charitable. At least they're large. Staff is friendly. Minus a star for mandatory resort fees; build them into the damn room rate already. Parking costs extra even though they have plenty of space, but at least they're clear on their website. Certainly nothing special for a lower end resort hotel. For a Sheraton — this place is embarrassing. I can't believe they let it operate under the Sheraton brand.
Recently my family and I had to evacuate from Tampa to Orlando due to Hurrican Irma. Firstable, before being able to evacuate, we had to find a hotel where we could stay at with our pet (small short hair cat). My wife and I must have been on the phone for hours trying to find a room, everything was sold out, except for the Sheraton Lake Buena Vista. Unfortunately, the hotel refused to let us book (receptionist which name I rather not disclose) because we had a small cat, and they only allow small dogs at their hotel. We asked for an exception but it was declined. Hotel management failed to show compassion in a stressful and scary situation. I have to say, I have stayed at different SPG properties around the world, 90% of the time the service was excellent, and for the remainder 10%, let's just say that I have never taken the time to write a bad review. But this time, I think I have to come out and say what I felt. I felt disappointed as a consumer, and humiliated as an evacuee. Specially when I turn on the news and hear that multiple hotels were setting their pet policy aside and waiving the fee due to the state of emergency. It is a shame that this happened. Any other time, I would have ignored the fact and have booked at different property. But this was a time of crisis where we are suppose to unite and help each other. Luckily, the Rosen Inn took us in. And yes, they waived any pet related policy.
We stayed over night while driving cross country. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a very good buffet. Word to the wise, all rooms have a fridge and it is in what looks like a dresser below the TV. We totally missed it and had to ask the front desk. That said, I'd gladly stay here again.
Upon our arrival the concierge greeted me with a smile. I traveled with my family. My wife and two small children (9 and 5). We were struggling a little bit trying to get everyone out and there was a nice employee with a red shirt (his name began with an E but I didn't catch the correct spelling). He called and held the elevator for us and even offered assistance! Our room was great. It had two bunk beds, two queen beds and a pullout sofa! The kids really enjoyed the pool as it had a water slide and a small area for them to play. Oh and and they have two pools one that has two basketball rims. The following morning housekeeping came to the door. The ladies name was Veronica. She was superb. She offered EVERYTHING (water, towels, soaps, etc). Her statement to me was, "I just want to make sure you have everything you need. " At some point in our travels we ran into a "young" man who asked us if everything was ok in our room and if we needed anything. His name tag read Ryan and he was very professional. When it came time two leave, the assistant GM was in the front, her name tag read Brandy. What an amazingly sweet woman. Not only was she professional but you could tell she was asking how our stay was. She was genuine. She asked where we where heading "home" to. When I told her South Florida she gave me an update on Hurricane Irma and asked that I be very careful driving and wished us luck. Our experience was beyond what I expected.
I was there for conference while wife relaxed when not assisting me. Rooms were very nice. The staff was professional and overall hotel was pleasant. Conference rooms were large. Wife enjoyed the 2 pools. We recommend the pool bar/grill area. Average cab fare from Orlando International to hotel is about $50.
This resort was great for us, it was a great location to get to any of the Orlando parks. The exterior of the building looks like it's do for a paint job but the interior is very clean and well maintained. Our room was good sized and very clean. I'm a bit of a hotel and resort snob and this resort met my expectations. When I travel back to Orlando, I will most likely stay here again.
I was charged several times in my bank, then refunded several times… and charged again. This happened like four to five times. I called and informed management they stated they couldn't do anything for me to speak to the finance department. Once I spoke to the finance department they said they would issue the refund and remove my card on file so it wouldn't continue to happen. A week later still no resolution. I called to follow up, corporate didn't offer any accommodations or anything discounted rate for my troubles. This has been a nightmare and I haven't even checked in yet. I will most definitely voice my experience once I stay. So far horrible experience.
Large, clean, comfortable rooms, great pool with large slide. Multiple bars, solid breakfast buffet. Dinner tries too hard to be fancy. Secured parking is an additional cost and there is resort fees, but you can shuttle free to parks and buy tickets from concierge. Lattes at the shop in lobby. Would definitely repeat our stay here.
I'm disappointed in the quality of lake buena vista Sheraton. The couch had stains on it-photos to come. I had to call multiple times for maintenance to look at the air unit only to find out we had to control the temperature somewhere other than where the sign was saying to control. I also spoke with Ashley the assistant manager regarding getting new sheets which never came. I paid for 2 queen beds and was told at check in that I was upgraded to a suite but they failed to mention the beds were full size. I've been an spg member for some time and stay at sheratons for business and pleasure. I will definitely be considering other options. The confirmation I got with my pre pay had incorrect pricing in it as well so at check out I found out there were additional charges that I thought I had already paid with my pre-pay.
Predictable, just-fine chain hotel. Pleasant staff, good meeting facilities. Rooms are a little tight but well furnished with the items you like to have — mini-fridge, balcony, easy access to the lobby, gym and pool. One outstanding staff member was Thierry, who bent over backwards to welcome us at the breakfast buffet. He took terrific care of us, was welcoming and friendly, and very gracious about quickly making sure we had everything we needed.
I would recommend. The Pool Menu is great and reader friendly, not crowded. From valet with Alexis, Will and Micheal to Silvester who was with serving and helping us book a cabana. It is really family friendly with a mid day entertainment for the kids. I really enjoyed playing BINGO. I loved that I could leave the driving behind and take the shuttle to the theme park and it was a great addition to get bottles of water for the trip from Cristal. The overall experience was great. Housekeeping did a great job, didnt meet my housekeeper but she did a great job daily. Also, there is stroller rental, scooter rental and car rental from 3rd party companies. Front Desk Kriztal did a great job helping us when we needed additional help. I almost forgot the wonderful buffet for breakfast and timely room service. It was a great experience.
We had a super pleasant stay! Clean rooms, nice hot tubs, free shuttles to Disney, pool had a water slide. We knew upfront there was a fee for parking and a resort fee (like almost all the hotels in the area do) so we werent surprised. Thanks for a great stay!
Rooms were ok. Very nice pool area. Knew about the $21 per day resort fee beforehand, which seemed excessive considering the venue. Was surprised upon arrival that parking was not included in the resort fee. It was an extra $15 per day. Considering we were using SPG points, our "free" hotel was not so free. When booking, we were not told about the parking fee, even when we asked if there were any extra fees. A few problems with our room… no cold tap water, bedroom door handle repeatedly fell off, and the refrigerator was not that cold. Had partiers just below us on the 1st floor. They were on the patio of their room and the sound came right through our closed windows as if they were in the room with us.
Stayed for business. Rooms are comfortable. Bathrooms could use a remodel. Breakfast is a bit pricey. Nice pools and outdoor areas. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Clean room. Large with bunk beds for kids (not sure if this was a suite — used Starwood points). Only complaint was a musty odor in the room. Possibly had been smoked in previously.
Worst place to stay… were allways travelin all the time to orlando. Stay at Hilton. This time stay at this hote;; wors experience ever rude staff problem with parking … to many thing … discusting… just stay way from this palce…
The hotel was modern, the pools were great, and the s'mores fire was great. But in the family suite the bunk beads are not nailed down so every time that you moved on it it would rock, and there were multiple rips and stains in the carpet. But other than those things it was really relaxing and a nice getaway close to restarunts, and close to theme parks I would recommend this hotel.
The staff gives this place it's 4th star. They are pretty much all amazing from the valet to the guys cooking by the pool bar. Really great poolside food! Nice BBQ especially the pulled pork and brisket. Rooms had desk space, safe, fridge nice upgraded TVs and the kids went nuts for the spacious bunk beds. Very clean. The pool is fantastic. My only issue is the lack of a full restaurant and the items are overpriced. However there's a wallgreens and grocery close. Again have to mention it's the staff that makes the place. Kind, upbeat and helpful. Oh! And the 24 hour fitness center is top notch and a great amenity!
Horrible experience. The hotel rooms themselves were dirty. I had to have the room switched the first night because, the air conditioning made so much noise. After the room was switched the sheets still felt dirty. Also our fridge had dust in it and didnt work so we had to have it changed. The hallways seemed dirty and smelt unclean. We also left our room and the maid thought we had left when we came back 10 minutes later, we found her phone charging in our room while she was cleaning other rooms. Meaning she was going in and out of our room after she was done cleaning. Also I had my headphones stolen from my room, I inquired about it but, got no response. Also the hotel provides a shuttle to disney and all the parks. We went to epcot and waited for the shuttle. Instead a gray van comes and a man asks me and my two friends where we were going. We told him sheraton and he told us to get in. We are teens so we were unsure if the van was with the hotel. Concerned for our safety we called the hotel to confirm the shuttle they told us it should be a big white bus. The man said "no I talked to the lady at the hotel and she said to come and pick yall up because, the bus had mechanical issues". The lady on the phone with the hotel was unable to confirm that. We ended up getting a taxi. Overall this hotel looks nothing like in the photos. Horrible service and they were unclean. I will never stay at a Sheraton again especially after this experience. This hotel is nowhere near 4 stars!
Never had a issue over the years. Staff is amazing! Super helpful and friendly. Thanks for taking care of us girls every year :).
It was clean, they had free shuttle service to the theme parks. The hotel was close proximity to Disney. However, the fridge is now hidden in the dresser, so this of us who live out of the suitcase would have no idea. I understand a resort fee I've paid them before for other hotels in the area, what I haven't paid is a $12 a night parking fee. So while I saved $17 at Disney parking I spent $24 to park at the hotel. Ridiculous. I'd give it a 2.5-3 star.
Great place really close to Disney world felt like I was at a resort. Sometimes the problem would be parking but the rest is okay.
Ants and gnats in the room. One ice machine in entire building that has 6 floors. The ice machine did not work, and you could not go to another building for ice because your key only worked with your assigned building. Old style tub and shower. The sinks are on the outside of the bathroom.
One of the best hotels in terms if value for money.
Mencanta that that beautiful I and my husband difrutamo much
The abitasione. In selente.
Rated a 4 star hotel. Not even close. Staff was nice and friendly. Room is truly closer to a 3 star and not even close to 4. Room is ok, been on more comfortable beds but it's ok. Hidden costs. Showed up expecting parking to be included in the resort fee and then told it was $12 parking fee on top of the resort fee as of Sept 1. Pool area is nice, water slide tube connections were not smooth and hurt my back going down, hot tubs were nice. With resort fee and parking fee, there are defiantly some better values to be had in Orlando/Disney areas. Will definitely stay somewhere else next time. Thankful we're only here for one night.
We used Sheraton for our wedding ceremony, reception and to house ourselves and our family. We worked with Donna Cooke who was professional, extremely nice and very flexable. They had many packages to choose from and are willing to work with you to create your perfect wedding. The chef a special dish and the food was delicious. The hotel and spa are very nice, we ended up staying for three nights in a beautiful and spacious honeymoon suite. Our family was very happy with their rooms and the overall service and cleanliness of the hotel. We will return and stay at the hotel for family theme park vacations. I am a fan for life.
All what I can say is that we've extremely enjoyed the hotel, the location of this hotel is ideal by all meanings, few minutes to Disney World, Universal and Sea World, and if you were a sea food lover just like me, the Red Lobster is just next door! Hotel staff without exception are very helpful, friendly and professional, the Disney World shuttle is also a plus point Lastly, to spend the remaining of your vacation budget, the "Outlets" is just close around 2 or 3 blocks to the south! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT FOR EVERYBODY.
I am writing this note in order to acknowledge the superior level of customer service that was provided by Kenzo Kenaope of The Sheraton Lake Buena Vista. I was a guest at the Resort during Memorial Weekend and Kenzo delivered a level of service that was unsurpassed by none I have seen in the Hospitality industry. She is a consummate professional who demonstrates expert knowledge, strong interpersonal capabilities, a refreshing authenticity and a genuine desire to best meet the needs of her guests and everyone else she works with. It was a delight to work with her. She is a definite asset to Sheraton and her assistance did not go unnoticed. Thanks Kenzo! Sincerely, Adeola.
It's a good go-to hotel. Children everywhere — — definitely a family friendly so not ideal for the younger group or couples who wish to be exclusive. Good location — — a Pizza Hut, Olive Garden and Denny's within walking distance. A Dunkin Doughnuts right across the street (coffee is my fuel) and close to I-4. It is nice that it has a pool area which is decent, but the whole hotel as a building kind of has a cheap, motel vibe. The lobby where you check in is nice, it looks like it's been remodeled recently. The rooms themselves look recently re-done (newer carpet and bathroom tiling) but the water pressure is very low. The room also kind of had a wet mop smell. Overall, the balconies and the view of the exterior is kind of an eye sore that you can't get over. The first time we stayed there were bunk beds in our room — — yes bunk beds. And this was after our upgrade to the junior suite. Definitely not as seedy looking as it looks from the outside, but I've stayed at La Quinta's that are pretty competitive with this property.
I stayed the ipod charger in the room and say that they did not succeed bone stole it is.
