We showed up to this property and the women at the desk was very nice. That is literally the only good thing to say about this dump. The pool bar was closed, the elevators were broken, the ice machines were rusty and moldy. The pool was full of birds. We then go into the 1970s style rooms which were disgusting. Holes in the wall, dirty outdated furniture. Our sliding door was rusted basically shut. We didn’t even stay there 10 minutes before we looked for another hotel. We were told it was being condemned after the one next door was finished. No one should waste their money staying at this hotel nor should it be legal to advertise those pictures which don’t reflect any accuracy of what the property actually looks like now. Worst property I have ever seen.

The front desk lady was great! but the rooms on the other hand was gross dirty with stains and for the price it wasn't worth it!

Stayed Sept 10-13, 2021 and had the best time. The hotel isn’t luxurious but it’s very nice. The room was large, air worked wonderfully, room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Rhonda at the front desk was exceptional! I recommend this place to those wanting a nice stay very close to the beach and within walking distance to food and shops.

I booked this hotel months in advance and paid for one night to reserve. I looked forward to my 83 year old Dad spending time on the beach with me. We arrived on Saturday night about 1030pm. 5 people in the lobby discussed the problems they were experiencing with this hotel and recommended that we not stay there. We decided NOT to stay even though this cost us over $200. They would not refund any portion.

Beach View has been AMAZING! If you’ve never stayed here, this place has the BEST location! Very clean! Very friendly! Great Price! Our experience started out a couple doors down at the Seaside Inn, It was a Complete Nightmare! Filthy and Unsafe! My husband walked down and walked in to Beach View to see if there was anything open for the night. She gave us a great rate and helped us out! It’s been a Great Stay!

I am giving this hotel sometime to make things right. So far they have not.
The hotel is old And so are the furnishings. Curt is a rib, couch was filthy had to put a sheet over it just wouldn’t touch it, refrigerator is freezing over, and the stove did not work.

Was robbed in my hotel room within an hour of checking in. They stole about $2, 000 worth of valuables. Pretty sure it was the front desk clerk and his wife.

We loved our stay here. Friendly and helpful staff. Great room and awesome view. The continental breakfast had plenty to offer guests. If you want to use it there is even a fitness room! Pool felt great… not cold like some pools so you do not get such a shock when you jump in. CKs right there had great food! Reasonable pricing especially with all the amenities you get here. Then to only walk across the street and you are at the beach. Lots of other great things close by. We sure will go here again!

Nice hotel but it’s a bit outdated and in the hallways it smells like smoke. The breakfast is good which I like. The staff is friendly. Overall not a bad hotel.

We had a fantastic quick staycation at the Beachview Inn! The room was spacious and clean with a gorgeous beachfront view. The staff was very polite and even let us keep our car in their limited space parking lot after check out so we could enjoy the sugar sand festival. Our room had a small kitchenette which would be great for longer stays. Bloody Mary’s Sunday morning at CKs downstairs were on point!

The location is great. That's it. Not so clean (don't know why but I was sliding because the room floor was very slippery). Clearwater beaches are great and of course this was one of the cheapest place with a gulf view… but they have to better take care about the place.

Everything was phenomenal. Great time, great service and the Cabana was clutch. The only gripe I have (and it's a small one) is that for $200 the Cabana could have done with a shower. Even a stand up one just to rinse would have made the experience perfect.

Hello my name is cathy and I am staying here at the Beachview inn the hotel may be a little old. However the rooms are nice I have a beautiful Gulfview the staff is so friendly I met Ron, Kathy, Velma, Kevin they are courteous and friendly if you want a great view of the golf this is a wonderful place to stay at I highly recommend it. And they have a nice pool I can honestly say this is a great place for families it's very quiet very lovely. If I come back this way again I look forward to staying here at the Beachview Inn thank you God bless you cathy.

Great spot. Usually stay at the Marriott Hotels but this hotel is on the beach which made it very nice. The staff were very accommodating and the cleaning people really go over and beyond. View of sunset beach is spectacular balconies are great and pool area is very nice. Just a little pricey but I guess it’s on the beach in season. Definitely coming back forget the Marriott on the bay side.

Beautiful place right on the beach walk and it is close to everything you will need to have a great time! Very clean and very comfortable with a super helpful staff that will go out of their way to help you feel welcome! I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

This place is right at the beach, across the street from a great bar. The room was clean, had a little kitchenette with pots and pans, dishes, and silverware, a dining table for 2, a loveseat, and two queens. Temp was easily controlled to comfort, clean, staff super friendly, and the pool was on the second floor outside — super cool to be able to look out over the beach and watch the people out there. Great price for the value, and because of this, we will come back to this place next time, too. Nicely done, Beachview!

This hotel is a solid economy choice for beach access and location. Our room was really compact with not much room beyond two beds and a tiny bathroom but it was clean and nicely decorated. The pool was awesome and the free breakfast better than expected based on other reviews I had read. Beach access was literally right across the street and gorgeous. The only real drawback we encountered was a slippery bathroom area floor, probably due to people using spray sunblock indoors. I'm sure that's not typical. We would stay again!

We loved staying at Beachview! There is the beach across the street and restaurants and shops next door. The view is awesome! The room was wonderful and at a great price! We will be returning to Beachview!

Room was adequate size, nice views, across from the beach. This made it easy to run back when my 3 yr old decided she didn’t want to be there. Lots of close by restaurants and shops. The pool was very nice. The pool bar is never really open so don’t depend on that. The room is pretty dirty. Maid service seriously suffered. I constantly felt dirty in the room. We stayed a week and housekeeping was terrible. Sheets only changed once, beds only made once. Pull out couch was broken, so our extra guest just slept on the couch. Overall, location is excellent, rooms could use an overhaul.

Super beautiful seen. Great pool. Breakfast is OK. 2 minutes from the beach then floor of the sandy room but details. Ideal for family or young couple who likes to party.

Rooms were small. The aircondtioner was very noisy. Bathrooms could be cleaner. Tissues were stuffed back in the box. Very odd. Upside. Friendly staff it's close to the beach and there is a nice little bar across the street. I did not feel that I got a great value for my money but not a terrible place. Just mediocre.

We only stayed one night as we were awaiting our flight home from our cruise, so price and location were the primary factors in our decision. The service was very friendly. We were able to borrow beach towels and chairs. The free breakfast was convenient for a quick snack before heading to the airport. While we did not have a chance to check out the pool or fitness center, the 2nd floor outdoor pool did look inviting, esp at night with a poolside bar and three gas fire pits. Location was very convenient with many dining options within walking distance and the beach directly across the street.

Very close to the beach. Easy for little ones to walk on over and enjoy the sun. Based on a family friend who comes often, this is one of the few places that offer breakfast on — site. (at a cost) Having breakfast at the hotel really helps when you have little ones or have mobility issues and can't walk to the Macdonald's a few buildings over. Friendly staff. Convenient.

I thought this was a great hotel and location right across from the main beach. A very nice pool bar and great location. Very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is a bit small and needed to be slightly updated but it was very nice otherwise.

The majority of people that stay in Clearwater in general is older (in their 40s) so it seems but it is a fun atmosphere with many bars and restaurants nearby. Food and markets are easy to find and very close to this hotel as well. The pool area is nice but this one dude at the pool bar isn't so great at making drinks so just stick with beer. Pool goes up to 8 feet and the beach is a 3 minute walk if you prefer it.

After paying for our room in full we were surprised to have a mandatory "amenities" fee of $15 a night per room. This fee cost us $100 extra on our trip. What does this fee cover you ask? A "continental breakfast" which is frozen Eggo waffles that you can put into your toaster if you wish to. It also gives you access to the pool (which is only open during the day and closes at night meaning you won't get a chance to enjoy the 3 fire pits surrounding the pool). The pool bar… which is closed. No food or drinks available since the bar is closed. No TV on the multiple screens or music out of the multiple speakers because "the bar is owned by another company and we can't control if they come to work" as told by the hotel manager. They didn't come to work all week… so we had to leave the hotel whenever we wanted a drink or food. The bathroom is small. There is a switch for a bathroom fan but there is no bathroom fan… I'm not sure there ever actually was. The window doesn't stay open either. Feel free to buy your own air freshener since this is NOT included in the amenities package. Stay somewhere else. There are plenty of great hotels surrounding this one.

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice 2nd floor heated pool with gulf view. Rooms somewhat dated, but nice enough (I'm not picky). Try to book a 3rd or 4th floor room facing the gulf for best view.

My family and I have been staying at this hotel for the past 15 years and are always satisfied. The location is prime. Walking distance from everything! You can't beet being so close to the ocean. The view of the ocean (and sunset) and boardwalk is spectacular. The rooms are very diverse and always clean. The pool is a huge bonus. We come every May and can't wait to return again. It's tradition.

We stayed at the Beachview Inn for seven nights in February. We absolutely loved it! It's right across the street from the beach, and there's also a public restroom and an ice cream/coffee shop right there. The staff is very friendly and they let you borrow beach chairs and toys for the kids so you're not scrambling around if you fly in! The restaurant is pretty good and very convenient! We got wings and pizza a couple of nights. Our housekeeper did an awesome job of keeping us picked up and keeping the layer of sand we dragged in everyday from getting out of hand! The free morning breakfast was just enough to get our day started. The pool heater was broken while we were there, but that didn't put the kids out! It was cold, but very enjoyable, and the bar was even open a bit! We'll definitely stay here again. It had a more home-y feel than some of the other monstrous hotels that are all around it! Can't say enough good things about this place!

It's not a 5 star hotel as in "fancy" BUT I love it here. We have stayed here 5 times. Staff is always amazing. You can't beat the location for the price. The breakfast is blah, but you don't have to eat it if you don't want to.

Stayed here in January of 2017 for the national championship game between Alabama and Clemson. The game may have not turned out like we wanted, but this beautiful paradise made it our stay here a very memorable vacation. Staff was very professional and the restaurant was very good.

Very nice and clean. Loved the individual gated patio area off the room. Great pool area with fire pits at nite. Would have really enjoyed poolside bar but it was never open while there, maybe because of holiday. Convenient to shops, parking and the beach.

This was my third stay at this hotel and it has improved each time. The continental breakfast definitely has room for improvement.

Room had ants… left some stuff in the room and called that night to get it back and it wasn't there they said. Cleaning people took it and left multiple messages for management to call me back and a week later still NO returned call. Need to hire better staff that don't steal other people's things. Don't stay here.

Wonderful resort. Clean, comfortable bed/room. Everyone was so nice. Restaurant CK'S was horrible! Complimentary Breakfast was good.

Love this place. It has a nostalgic feel that's reminiscent of an era past. It is right on the beach. There isn't a better bargain in Clearwater Beach than this place. The investments in updating, renovating and expanding to new services will keep me coming back. The new sports bar downstairs is a fun time. When work travel takes me to Pinellas County, this is where I stay. I've talked it up to my wife enough that we went there for our own weekend break just last month. Love it here.

This was a fantastic place to recover after Irma. Great pool, bar, restaurant, room with a kitchenette and dining space, great beds. The room was quite and comfortable. They earned a satisfied customer and I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

The Beachview Inn is in the perfect location on Clearwater Beach! It is in walking distance to everything but the most importent thing, its right across the street from the BEACH! The pool is located on level 2 its a nice big area with a bar! There are about 12 high top chairs around the bar you can get beer, tropical drinks, wine and great food from CK's Restaurant located downstairs in the Beachview! Also, at the pool they have lounge chairs and table's w/umbrellas and chairs. The pool itself is nice but a little small, the view is Clearwater Beach, thats great! The staff was very nice and friendly! They asked us if we wanted beach chairs for the beach, we thought that was so nice of them! Anything we asked for it was no problem! Our room was nice and very clean, something that I always really look at when I check in to a hotel. Now, I'll tell you why I only gave 4 stars not 5. If you plan on going to the Beachview BRING YOUR OWN PILLOWS! We were so tired after our first day of pool, beach, cocktails, dinner we couldn't wait to get into bed and lay our heads on those nice soft pillows. OMG! They are hard as bricks, we both said what the hell is this? Also, the bed is very hard as well. I wasn't sure if I could fall asleep but your so tired from all the sun you just fall asleep but we both had stiff necks in the morning… I did suggest to the staff when we were checking out that they need much softer pillows! Other than that we really enjoyed our stay at the Beachview!

Came here for a short getaway & trust me, no regrets! The hotel was reallly nice & so close to the beach. The front desk lady was wonderful. Can't wait to go back :)

This is a nice place to stay close to lots of shops and restaurants, pier 60 which has live entertainment, and a beautiful beach. The rooms have balconies to view the gulf coast ocean waters. We had the double queen bed room and a pull out couch. Lots of space with a dining table too. The room also has two tvs. They had a nice rooftop pool that goes to 8 feet deep with a bar. I was not impressed with my undercooked food at CK, the hotels restaurant but everyone else's food there was ok. Don't order their fish and chips. There are plenty of other places to eat including a McDonald's next door in an older house building. We had a great time.

This place was PERFECT. We had a room on the 2nd floor, beach and pool view. You have a patio that walks right out on to the pool! Nice outside bar. Room was perfect size for my husband, 14 year old, 2 year old, and myself. Was two queen beds and a pull out couch. Right across the street is the beach, and there is a McDonald's and a few seafood restaurants right next to it. I think only downfall is having to check in at 3pm, but that's all hotels. Staff was very nice! This will become a yearly visit and stay.

This is the second time we have been to Clearwater. Once with just my husband and I and this time with our kids. We love this beach and the ability to just park our car and walk everywhere. We stayed at a nearby hotel for our first visit and were pleased, but chose Beachview because of their fitness room, and they were located extremely close to our previous hotel. From the moment we got there (June 25th 2017) we were at home. The front desk worker (a guy I can't remember his name) helped accommodate our change of room. We wanted to upgrade to a room located on the second floor right in front of the pool. He was amazing. Then anytime we needed anything they were nice and helpful. We asked for a late check out and they were very nice and allowed us to stay until 12, so our girls could get their henna tattoos without being rushed. This will be our go to every year. Thank you for our great stay!

Very highly recommend! We were there for my daughters wedding and everything was just perfect. Room was beautiful and pristine clean. Staff were helpful and very friendly. CK's restaurant catered the poolside reception, food was delicious and best rum runners in town at the Tiki bar. Everyone had a wonderful time. We will definitely go back for weekend getaways.

I have never had a more worse experience in a hotel in my life. I booked and paid for a water view. Upon getting to the room, first thing looking out the window, nearly my entire view was of a hotel being built. I could just see the pier in the upper right corner of my window. Upon going to the front desk to inform of the possible mistake, the manager claimed the room was a water view room. After arguing for a couple min that my obstructed view was barely a partial water view, she offered upgrading my room for an extra $75-100 for a view of the marina. Because I used Groupon, a third party to book the room, they refused to give me a refund. The next day, on a Saturday, I was rudely awoken just before 7am to the sound of heavy machinery grinders. The workers right outside my window were already working on the new hotel with heavy and loud machinery! I live in a deed restricted community, which workers are not allowed to use heavy or loud equipment before 8am. Upon leaving, they charged me another $16 for parking overnight! They didn't tell me when I checked in they charge for parking let alone so much. I could have parked across the street for less than half that! Hotel manager was a liar. For the premium price I paid for this hotel, I could have stayed at the Hilton for a much better experience, on the water!

Amazing view of the beach from my room and the pool area. Beautiful sunsets. Fire pits around the pool for the chilly evenings. Newly opened CKs excellent tacos! The room was beautiful and clean. Very homey and comfy with everything you need. I highly recommend a gulf view room suite with sofa, kitchen table w/4 chairs, stove top, microwave, fridge, toaster, dishes and of course the coffee maker (one cup at a time coffee). Free (small) continental breakfast. The staff was so friendly and made my stay excellent! So many things to do in walking distance. The beach has the lightest sand that feels like SILK on your feet! Five Stars!

Stayed 1 night but would highly recommend room facing the ocean $141after tax, live band next door good choice of food and restaurants near, by heated pool and hot tub, rooms was nice with open balconies facing the gulf and kichenet, private beach small but with so little space what could you expect, pool is just feet from ocean will stay here again.

Little Paradise. Hotel is romantic with a private beach of white sand. Room with balcony and view from sunshine to sunset… Great. The bar serve Starbucks coffee and Good choice of beers. Great. Only negative point is the restaurant with prices too expansive.

My Wife and I really loved our stay there last week for our Honeymoon! We had a great view from our balcony, loved the private beach and the staff is great.

Superior view from 5th floor balcony of the water! Also, we felt that our grand kids were safe at the little private beach and heated pool. Staff was attentive and knowledgeable especially Manager Chris Rose who went out of his way to provide personal attention to myself and my wife. Would stay again in a heartbeat at this little gem!

When we first arrived the front desk clerk was very rude, the place is had bit out dated, it has an old smell and the roll away cart was stored in a nasty closet with cleaning supplies. We didn't unpack at all. Nice view is the only thing good I can say.

This is a nice hotel. I had booked through Priceline as an express deal so didn't pick this exactly but was why was given to me. The room had a bad view of the street on the second floor. Could have been better seeing they had plenty of vacancy. It's a mile from the pier so it's a bit if a walk to get there. Overall it was ok.

Excellent Hotel in a very good place to enjoy the beach.

Rooms are clean the amenities are okay. The restaurant is way overpriced and the location makes it to where the beach that you're on it's really just a Waterway. The pool is great. So what they don't tell you is you have to pay $25 a day to use the amenities.

HORRIBLE! The pictures are very deceptive. It looks like a nice classy beach and hotel BUT it is a grungytiny beach over looking at a bridge on the cause way NOT on the ocean. The best room "with a view" was small, overlooking cars on the bridge. Very dissappointed in this hotel. Never go there!

A vuen place to vote the stres.

We booked 2 rooms for Labor Day weekend and next day we saw on the news a category 1 storm hitting that area… I called the hotel to ask for a refund and they said I have to pay $165 which is equal to the first night (we had booked 3). This is unbelievable, there was not that I didn't wanted to go, it was a evacuation in the area, they didn't have indoor pool or anything we could have done there. So we ended up going to the east coast, to a Hilton in West Palm Beach and we are having a blast!

Best value on South Beach… clean, well care for small place right beside Shepherd's! Good views and courteous staff! If your looking for quiet this is NOT the place!

There was a hiccup that prevented check in at 3:00, but Richard at the front desk was helpful and got us an upgrade to a better room due the inconvenience. At first we were unsure, but are now happy with our experience. The room is a nice size and has great views!

Really nice hotel. Staff is very friendly, and the hotel is really clean. Location is great, and we had an awesome view of the ocean. I was most impressed with the room size. We stayed in the standard room with 2 queen size beds, and the room gelt huge compared to other hotels. I would recommend to everyone.

Took money for a room with a sea view. Not with "good views", not with "partial view". And with the "sea view" — it was more expensive. Were placed in a room from which the sea is not see any. In addition, the Parking took money twice for the Valet in the Parking lot and invisible me a fighter from the accounting Department. After my request he promised to return, but never returned. The rest is so-so. Sure two stars.

Nice clean hotel. Have to ask for extra towels each day because they only give us 3 though we have 4 people in our room. The people at the desk are always great about giving us more though. Room is quiet. We will definitely stay here again.

The young man in restaurant Ryan S was amazing above and beyond. The rooms are nice and clean, newly renovated. The beach cabanna guy very nice. The coffee guy Bruce was great. This is a small resort, understaffed but most everyone friendly. Private beach perfect to relax.

Great view, pool is very nice and at night has firepits. Room was spacious and has everything you need. A pull out couch, 2 queen beds, a kitchenette and a view that's amazing. Great location to beach, stores, and food. And you cant beat the price! I will stay here again!

This hotel is absolutely wonderful. The room is clean, spacious, and has an amazing view. We watched the sunset from our bed after a tough day of traveling and it was beautiful. The room also offers amenities such as a mini fridge, a microwave, and a stove top with the necessary dishes. My only complaint is that we aren't staying longer!

Wonderful hotel for the family. Our room was a 2 queen beds suite with sofa bed on 2nd floor ocean front. It was great! Clean & spacious, with a kitchenette. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Close to all the activities, shopping and restaurants. We definitely will be back! We were there March 25-31 :)

I Loved the place. Very clean. Met the manager very pleasant and concerned about my stay. I would definitely go back. Great place. Great view.

The service sucked! Checked in and our room was the size of our car with NO BEACH VIEW as promised went to the front desk they charged us a up graded fee the breakfast was yogurt and muffins! The website states there's a heated pool well guess what it wasn't heated! The "cable was a whole 2 channels! It was a wast of $800! I'll never stay again! Nor recommend.

My family and I booked a night at this hotel on January 1st 2016. To start off, we arrived at 1 PM the day of the check in; however, our room wasn't ready even though the website said we could check in at 1 PM. We came back at 3:30 PM and the room was still not ready and several guests in the lobby were in my same situation. After getting somewhat good service from an obviously frustrated front desk person, we were able to get a room by 4:30 PM. Once we got to the room there was trash all over the floor, the beds were not made and the bathroom was not clean. At this point I wanted to leave the hotel, but everything around the area was already booked. I went back to the front desk and informed the lady what was happening and I could tell she was very frustrated because her boss was just sitting in his desk chatting with one of the cleaning ladies. I took my family to the beach and returned 2 hours later and thankfully found a clean room, but with no towels. The final straw happened on the next day (Saturday at 9 AM), when were woken up by workers hammering and cutting tile for the pool which was under construction. This was the worse hotel experience I've ever had. So much that I felt compelled to write a review which I've never done. The manager of the hotel had 0 customer service and had a I don't care attitude.

Room was nice with king size bed and a sofa. Had a view of the beach and beautiful sunset each evening. We came to swim in the pool that was EMPTY! Nowhere on the website did it state that the pool was being refurbished. I still do not understand charging you TEN DOLLARS to park your car? Lady at the desk could not explain why you have to pay separately for the car-or for that reason pay at all. It should be included in the room rate. The resturant next door played VERY LOUD music until after midnight.

Great view and awesome gym to work out in. Clean and right near everything. Breakfast till 9.00 am and the view is great. Cheaper to stay during the weekdays and now has a new owner who shaped the place up alot. Washing facility on site and right across from the best beach that florida has to offer.

We checked in during Memorial Day weekend and it was awful. There were termites everywhere (including the bed and pillows). We told the staff at the front desk and she claimed that was the norm and that every hotel on Clearwater Beach had termites. We checked out after staying only one night of the five that we had booked and ended up spending the remainder of our vacation in two separate hotels (which did not have termites). I would not recommend staying here unless you're looking for a place that only has a good view going for itself. If I could give it 0 stars, I would.

Simple, family friendly, good location, great prices.

Just LOVE it. Perfect location. Every thing is a walk away. Its very CLEAN and in my book that's big. Associate's are always SMILING and very helpful. If you ever in Clearwater beach in Tampa BEACH VIEW INN. Is the place to STAY.

We just checked out this morning, and wow were we pleased! This hotel is very dated and basic. However the location, accommodations, service, and convenience were spectacular! There is no where in Clearwater that you could get this bang for your buck. We will be back, many more times.

Rates where high due to spring break, room super small outdated, I couldn't get a roll away bed cause it wouldn't fit, and my son was to tall to sleep two in a bed.

I recently stayed here and paid almost $700 for two nights because of spring break rates. The hotel is nothing spectacular but nice enough with a good view of the beach. Their parking situation is a huge hassle, they only allow one parking pass per room and if you have more than one car they basically tell you to figure it out on your own. Other than that I was pleased with my stay until I got a rude awakening in the middle of the night by police officers telling me I needed to pack up all my stuff and leave immediately due to "noise complaints". I was falsely targeted because all the hotel saw me as was a kid staying there for spring break that they did not want to be bothered with me. I will never, ever recommend this hotel to any people I know in the future due to the rude staff and lack of respect to a hotel guest. Stay here at your own risk, and if you're in your twenties don't be surprised when they kick you out in the middle of the night as well. OH, and refuse to refund you for the night that you did not stay. If I could I would give my experience not one single star.

Charged for everything. Paid $240 for one night and wanted $3 for internet, 10$ to park,. I am a Florida Res. And couldn't get any discount because we were not staying there for 2 nights. Oh yea if you get up before 8 am no breakfast, great. For this price you would think you would have a private balcony. We went out to watch the sunset and had a drunk, fat, old guy talking to us, right next door. Room was clean and nice, but really, put up a barrier between balconies. Won't stay there again.

This was a nice stay for two. Nice restaurants and other high quality hotels are nearby therefore the people around us were decent. The room was clean and staff was great. The beach view was beautiful.

Location, Location, Location! We parked our car Thursday and never got back in it until our stay was over! The view is fantastic from the 3rd floor on up and the heated pool was a plus! The kitchenette is very VERY basic. The knobs for the two stove tops had no temp settings on them so you have no idea how high or low the heat is, but we managed. Our room was VERY spacious, the beds were comfortable for the most part and the kitchen table was huge. Did I mention the location was fantastic? 10 $$ a day parking and the no free Wi-Fi was definitely a bummer.

Rooms are clean the staff friendly the weekend was great would reccomend Beachview great deal. Extra towel that I asked for for one day were repeated each day without asking Owner even offered to drive me some place when my wife had the car. Will be coming back great get away close to home beautiful beach lots of resturants in walking distance five star staff Thanks to the staff Anthony and Lourdes the General Manager.

Just stayed there this past week June 9, 2014, and it is a good place to stay with great access to the beach. The only downside was the carpet needed to be cleaned and I told the front desk. The front desk is overly helpful — breakfast is all you need with it being cereal, toast, bagels and coffee. The cleaning staff is in and out of your room and you don't have to worry about your stuff. I have stayed there a couple of times now and it is has been the same people at the front desk and the cleaning staff. Property and clean and well cared for. Shopping is just steps a way and food the same. You will like the price, location and most of all the beach! I will make this my regular place to stay on Clearwater Beach.

I am a 100% disabled veteran who visited the Beachview Inn prior to making my reservation. I was shown a room that met my needs and was promised this specific room during booking. A specific room is usually not guaranteed at most hotels, but I had email confirmation from the general manager. Upon arrival, I found that the room I reserved was given to someone else. The other available options were dirty and unacceptable. I explained this to management and told them not to charge my card because I would find another hotel that would meet my needs. Later I found that they still charged my card anyway. I called to speak with a manager immediately, one was not available. I left my information and no one ever returned my phone call. I followed up again after a few weeks and the general manager has yet to rectify the situation. If you are on a budget and want a great stay. I highly recommend Pierhouse 60.

I have a lot of wonderful memories here raising my two girls. It is right across from the beach with a perfect view (no obstructions). They have nice units with balconeys facing the gulf. The front room is a living room with a pullout and table and chairs. A small hall has a kitchenette and bathroom (opposite sides) and the back room typically has two nice big beds (queen or double). Sometimes the bathroom is placed differently (to the right when you walk in). They have free breakfast which is fine for breakfast (nothing spectacular). The pool area is nice. No jacuzzi. I believe you pay for parking now and internet is extra. Last time we stayed (in August) it was just my husband and myself and we had a pool front room (still facing the gulf). We had ants and they promised to come but never showed up. After quite a while we found the bug spray ourself and took care of the problem. It's worth staying for about $130 a night IMHO.
