We highly recommend the Hyatt Regency at Clearwater Beach for your wedding! They have multiple venue spaces you can choose from that all look beautiful. The ceremony space on the rooftop is stunning. The food 🤯🥰 was delicious! Working with Lizzie before the wedding was delightful! She is very friendly and always put our Bride at ease with any questions we had for her. The day of the wedding Lizzie and Yvonne were both available to help us with anything we needed from the hotel. Everyone was very friendly and professional. We can’t wait to work with you again!

This venue is amazing through and through! We photograph weddings📸 here often and everyone is always so wonderful to work with. The venue is beautiful, the management is great, and the food is delicious! We highly recommend celebrating your wedding here or staying here for a weekend retreat. ✨

Beautiful hotel. Courteous staff. Pool restaurant delicious drinks and great food especially the wings. Hotel restaurant first class delicious meals. Downside the restaurant is extremely expensive. Their breakfast is also very expensive so I didn’t go there. My suggestion would be to have another moderately priced restaurant in the hotel for more of a choice. My room was spotless when I first arrived but during my stay they slacked. We ran out of toilet paper and did minimal cleaning. The toilet area and shower were not cleaned during our stay. For a hotel at this price the cleaning during our stay should have been better. I would definitely stay at this beautiful hotel again. I wish there was a little more shade provided at the pool. Also beware the pool deck gets very slippery.

Just got back home to Kansas City after a weekend getaway to Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa. Wish we had more time to experience ALL that the resort had to offer! Rooms were clean, staff was nice and helpful, amenities were great and location was perfect. We are looking forward to coming back and bringing our kids so they can enjoy all that is offered for them! Highly recommend this place. We loved it.

We highly recommend. The hotel was next to the beach. The pool was great to have drinks, to sunbathe and to have lunch while music was playing. The staff was very friendly. Complimentary sparkling wine and water upon checkin. They allowed us to use the pool after check out.

We checked in late last night after a horrible experience at another hotel, and I was FLOORED by Sherry’s AMAZING customer service. She is professional and kind, and was a welcome smiling face after a very long night. Even though we checked in late, Sherry treated us like we had just been escorted in as a VIP. Her smiling, welcoming attitude and commitment to giving us exceptional service must be commended. She truly treated us like family and I just want to say thank you so much. (I also want to commend our bellman/valet associate on duty — he was exceptionally helpful and courteous! ) This hotel knows good talent when they see it! We are staying the rest of the week, and if last night was any indication of the rest of the stay, we will be happy!

The Restaurant was over the top! One of the best dining experiences of my life and there have been hundreds if not thousands… the best calamari and she crab soup ever! The service staff was outstanding, friendly and kind I felt like they were my friends for long time. Special shoutout to Rob and his son Christian, felt like family by time I left. Rob is an incredible human being with great compassion for people and I watched this man offer himself to accommodate so many people once the sunset started. Restaraunt faces the water and the sunset view is truly a glimpse of God's great glory, and Rob orchestrated families couples and individuals with once in a lifetime photos with the incredible sunset as a background. Surely this man has great, great potential to excel in so many ways in life but shared with me how he loves making a difference in the lives of others. Truly Rob has a special gift from God and his son walked in the same spirit, as did the other staff members… Great friendly and focused staff. I can't say enough how incredible this dining experience was… absolutely priceless… but the key here is the food was incredible but not overpriced, it could've been and I still would feel the same way. God is good!

Speechless experience. Excellent costumer service so far. Front desk are very friendly and go above and beyond. Very recommend this place. Cost every penny you spend here. And everything near by with walking distance which is a big plus when you travel with kids and don't wanna spend extra money for rental car and parking (which is not cheap here)

Was renovated but then forgotten. Allot of little issues take away the stars. Cracked bricks outside. Water stained doors in room… little things need to be touched up… Need better pool maintenance cloudy the day we arrived. FD the next day for a chlorine accident… Most expensive meal I ate was lunch poolside. Place was overall clean if you overlooked the little stuff. Staff was friendly and location was perfect. To catch a great sunrise over the bay.

This is a beautiful hotel with beautiful rooms. We were in a two bedroom suite with a nice view. There were some activates held for kids during Christmas. Employees were polite and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

It is very clean and has spacious rooms. The showers and bathroom were very clean. The beach is a 1 minute walk right behind the resort and is a beautiful beach albeit very crowded. The only reason it would get 4 instead of 5 stars from me is the fees we did not know about until we arrived such as their "holding fee" that you pay upfront and dont get back till you leave. The hotel itself is very pretty though. I would come back again… I'd just budget for a lot more money first.

Great location. Beautiful western and eastern views. Just cross over the street to the beach, within walking distance of pier, restaurants and plenty of activities and boat tours. Pleasant pool area with live music (during our stay). Separate hot tub on upper floor. Our room had kitchen with full-size refrigerator. This place has several eating options inside. No Hyatt breakfast like some other Hyatt locations though. Staff was very helpful and eager to accommodate.

This is our third time in Clearwater, and our favourite hotel to stay in. The hotel is amazing, comfortable and feels like a home away from home. The kitchenette is very convenient, the rooms are spacious and clean. The service is top quality and the staff is amazing! Thank you so much for making our family vacation so memorable.

Best hotel on Clearwater Beach! 5 Diamond service from the moment you walk through the door. A big thank you to Toni at the front, who made our vacation even better. She was kind, inviting and kept checking on us throughout the week. She is the best! To Gary at the 2nd floor Hotel Restaurant Bar who also gave us 5 diamond service and made sure everyone was having a good time. To Estella in room service who greeted us everyday with a warm smile and friendly greeting. She also kept our room sparkling clean. I highly recommend this hotel!

Good hotel, good grounds, but not great. The lobby and common areas are good, but the room and pool left some to be desired. Pool: there is nothing providing shade at all during the middle of the day! There are pergolas on the sides, but between 10-2 there isn’t really anywhere to get out of the sun after hours of exposure. The food here is decent, and has fast and friendly service. Room: the room was good, but the shower must have been recently remodeled because there was pencil all over the walls and other oddities. The towel rack even fell off the wall and onto my foot. Thanks. And please put a fan in the bathroom. Besides the bathroom, the room was good with a good balcony. Room service: the ladies are very friendly, but they appear to be heavily overworked. Out of three days we only wanted our room serviced once. Our room was still not serviced by 6:30PM, so we just asked them for new towels and coffee. The other days the girls were there until we left for dinner. Hmmm… Overall, the hotel is good, but not worth the $400/day price tag.

Stayed for 3 nights on my birthday weekend in early June and had an amazing time. We booked the King Deluxe room w ocean view and it was superb. Room was very spacious and had a full kitchen. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Everyone from the valet attendant, front desk, housekeeping, pool and restaurant staff were very friendly and attentive. Hotel feels brand new and super clean. Will definitely be rebooking at the Hyatt Regency next time were in town.

Outstanding hotel. Great location. Room was large, well appointed and quiet. Beautifully designed hotel. Fantastic view especially from the rooftop deck. Every member of the staff I encountered from valet/bell stand, front desk, waitstaff, bartenders, concierge, gift shop, management was polite, friendly and very professional. Food was excellent everything I ordered looked great and tasted even better. Will stay again next time I am in town.

Restaurant was excellent… we had an amazing meal… the buttermilk calamari was outstanding! Pan seared scallops melteded like butter… ceased salad exceptional! My other two friends had the surf and turf and chicken dishes. Fabulous meals! Fabulous view!

Wonderful time. I was on crutches at the time and I found a rental company below the hotel which provides mobility scooters, fun go cart type cars, bikes, etc… They allowed me to have some independence while unable to walk. Highly recommend you check this out! The hotel is clean and is located in a wonderful spot. Easy access to the beach and the "boardwalk". I will be returning.

Stayed in the deluxe room. Very spacious and well designed. Bathroom was top notch. Pool was kind of small, but easy to overlook. Service was fantastic. Breakfast was great, not pricey but not inexpensive. Worth the value. Great access to the beach and surrounding store area.

Best location. Right by the boardwalk. Great staff. Left my wallet in the exercise room. The security staff found it on their nightly prowl and promptly returned it. Front desk person and valet people clearly explained the parking options. Huge room. Huge walkin closet. Palatial bathroom. Easy to spread out and feel at home. Decent exercise room but older equipment. Slow elevators but otherwise easy access to lobby and parking garage. Pool is a little small and too shallow but that's the only huge negative.

Came in Sunday, 4/22 for a patio dinner around sunset. Food was so good! Service was great! My mom is super picky and our server was so sweet and helpful! View was great! I would highly reccomend and definitely come back next time I'm in town!

Booked a month ago for my bday weekend. Called asking questions about hotel and cabana after booking, and let them know we were there to celebrate. Much to our surprise they upgraded our room to their sky terrace. Gulf views and bay views. Corner suite. Our terrace was large enough to host an outdoor party. They also set us up in the best spot for a cabana by the pool — sun all day with AC in the mini suite. We had beautiful weather, gorgeous sunsets, and a bday to remember. Thanks Hyatt!

We are locals and visit mostly for the restaurant, however, in general the staff at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa are always top notch. Easter was my first time for brunch, so I know I can definitely say the holiday brunches at Shor are amazing. Staff was friendly, attentive, and always around. The food choices — you won't have a problem finding anything. Well done!

One of my favorites. Great Hyatt. Great location. Rooms are amazing, mine had full kitchen. Staff is amazing. Spa was wonderful! Pool bar is fun, great menu and drinks. Easy access to beach which has everything to rent — cabanas, chairs, umbrellas. Jet skies paddle boarding kayaking too! Tons of great area restaurants, bars, and fun shopping.

Every single employee here was fantastic! I had an issue and called the front desk, Monique was more than happy to work with me and accommodated my reservation to meet my needs. I am so grateful. The hotel was top notch in service from the valet to the check out process. The bed was comfortable and the room was ok. A/C unit can be very loud and the room was a bit dirty (stains on carpet and furniture and dirt in the corners of the room), carpet also felt wet when we checked in. We ended up leaving based on these reasons and the staff were extremely accommodating. Like another reviewer said, it could use a coat of paint in the hallways and rooms.

Great white sand beach across the street. We used the parking lot here because we could reserve a spot online. Worked out great… no wasted time. Nice hotel lots of people.

I can't give a 6th star and in this case it is sad. I just had the most amazing experience staying multiple days and actually getting married at the hotel. The hotel staff leaves nothing to chance and goes out of their way to ensure comfort and enjoyment of guests. Roseli, Lyndsay, and Danielle of the event planning staff were nothing short of spectacular. Maria on the catering team took such good care of is all night long. The hotel, freshly renovated this January, is classy and fresh. The 2 bedroom suites are spacious enough to host a 25 person happy hour (or pizza party! )

Love this hotel especially since they spruced it up this year. Clean spacious rooms with kitchen, balcony. Friendly staff. One of the things they could improve on is the pool staff. We are returning guests since the 1990s and noticed the pool staff is lacking this time. I was at the pool 6 hrs and they came around once. I asked for ice water and it never came. Please improve on this service.

Had a wonderful stay. We arrived early in the morning and they were able to get our room ready when we arrived by 11 instead of the 4pm check in time which was a huge bonus with little kids. Nice clean and updated close to beach, restaurants and pier 60. Pool water could be a bit warmer since there is a breeze from being on the 8th floor but very nice nonetheless especially when the sun comes out. Will definitely be back. Staff was super nice and accommodating at the bar and restaurants. They had little craft activities near the pool for the kids which were free. We did not make us of the camp Hyatt but between the beach and pool our kids were thrilled and did not want to go home. Thank you to the Hyatt team for making our stay so nice.

A group of co-workers stopped in for beverage and dinner. This was a really nice restaurant with a good atmosphere. It had a terrific view of the beach and the gulf. The food was excellent and the service was good. The menu has a good variety with many options. If you are in the area and want a nice sit down mean, this is a great spot.

Excellent hotel with nice views of bay and sea. Very clean, spacious and tidy rooms. Beach is connected to the hotel and they offer goodies as part of their resort daily fee. The person at the front desk was exceptional and made sure the check-in was smooth and pleasant. Although on the expensive side during holidays, it is a hotel I would recommend to others.

All the people at the hotel were extremely nice, friendly and helpful. Our room was great and we requested it for the next time were there. The only reason I did not give it 5 Stars was because they didn't have a continental or any kind of free breakfast, which were used to at most hotels.

Great vacation at the Hyatt, staff is very accommodating, downstairs restaurant has great food. This hotel is great for families, kids will have a great time here, especially at the rooftop pool. FYI; Laundry room on every floor but detergent not included, resort fee doesn't cover beach chairs, and parking is not for free. Attached pictures of sunrise and rooftop pool.

Sorry to say that this was the worst hotel experience of our lives. The construction wasn't a minor inconvenience. In fact it made the room unlivable and the pool wasn't useable either. They comped us a free night, but it wasn't worth it as anyone with a family and young kids are aware, flights, days off from work and hotel costs are very expensive. The staff was hit or miss with some Hyatt employees "smiling" at the issues and were passive aggressive in response. They didn't have to book us directly above the construction but they did not care. They took their hotel fees and resort fees and did not care the the hallways were filled with paint fumes, metal shavings and banging that began promptly at 845am each morning and did not stop until after 5. That is not a slight exaggeration. They turned the one vacation we take each year into a nightmare. We ended up having to rest in the lobby.

I was planning on staying at the Marriott Sand Key because I had a wonderful experience there previously. After seeing the pictures on your website, I decided to try the Hyatt for the first time. Our room was very beautiful. However, we were awakened to very load hammering at 8 am coming from the wall behind our bed in the next room. This loud banging continued for at least an hour. We left early and were lacking sleep. Then when we left the parking garage, I was charged $35 dollars. I swiped my room key because I was told by your staff that parking would cost $21. I kept getting a message saying discount not accepted. I really thought that parking should have been included in my very expensive room charge. But, $35 dollars for one night is preposterous! I paid over $300 for the night to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. We were sorely disappointed and we will never be staying at your hotel again.

We’ve stayed at some of the best accommodations in the world and we’ve stayed at some economical places too. This resort left us scratching our head as the reviews were strong and favorable. The entire experience was discouraging and left us dismayed. The beach itself, beautiful! The amenities, decor and food are below average. Even after undergoing extensive renovations we did not feel as though anything was luxe. Sadly, rooms are not up to our standards and lacked attention to detail. We even upgraded to a preferred suite and continued to be disheartened at every turn. AC was outdated, noisy and not sufficient throughout. Hallways were humid and air quality was never crisp. Spa was mediocre; atmosphere and treatment sub-standard. We’re business professionals and not used to a place like this. I guess after seeing the website, pictures and reading reviews, we were truly duped. We tried to find another hotel but our corporate travel desk could not locate anything that would work with our schedule.

Was in town for a conference that took place at the hotel. Room renovations are ongoing, but may be done about a month from the date of this review or less. I was in a huge room that's meant to accommodate families with it having 2 bathrooms, a full size fridge and 2 queen beds. Room was clean, Wi-Fi worked and staff were friendly and helpful. Food from their restaurant was pretty good as well. Last, but not least, the hotel is short walk to the beach. Definitely, looking forward to coming back next year!

We had our wedding here. Our wedding turned out great but it was not because of the wedding planners they assigned to us. The girl we had missed steps at every point along the way. I had to keep on top of everything. Even down to the point where they set up the chairs wrong for the ceremony. We had 20 people so it was not a complicated thing. I do not fully blame the person assigned to us. The hotel had 6 weddings the same weekend as ours. The hotel is all about money and not about guests experience. Some of our guests were also given really poor rooms. We booked 14 months early so I would have expected a small wedding booked way early to be rather flawless. Overall this hotel is over priced. Parking room rate resort fee etc. We would have loved to come back for a vacation but the hotel is just not worth the high prices.

If I could rate negative 5 stars I would have done it! I have made a reservation in this hotel on June 15, 2017 for labor day weekend (9/1 through 9/5/2017) but unfortunately I had to cancel it on June 30, 2017. I had been on the hotel premises before attending a wedding and I fell in love with the place and their personnel. It is a misfortune that although I had cancel my reservation timely, the hotel withheld $340.43 from my card I used to make the reservation. I called twice to the hotel and they see no charge to my card but I can see it from my bank online statement. I asked a friend of mine who is a manager at another chain hotel and she advised to contact the hotel because they usually do retain a portion of the hotel stay when you check out until the account is completed charged with the invoice of the total stay, but since I never stayed at the facility they shouldn't have retained any amount. Not only the personnel did not offer options for my inquiries they told me two complete different answers when I inquired about the charges. It is the first time I had experience this type of "unknown charge" on my account. I do have a feeling that if I don't check my card online statement, someone not so honest is being overcharging customers for cancelled reservations. I have copies of everything and this is outrageous! Mel 9/6/17

This is a very clean and beautiful hotel. Its become iconic over the years even being featured on numerous post cards from the clearwater area. Located right on the beach it offers a lot of amenities to beach goers including shops restaurants. And it even has a trike rental service on the beach side so guests and visitors alike can cruise up and down the island.

This resort is more than visually breathtaking, it's more that the spectacular view seen from every angle, it's far more than what you see with your eyes. The friends you make at the Hyatt Clearwater, and by friends I mean the exceptional staff, go out of their way to make each guest feel like family. My recent stay was in October and as always the service I received during my stay was stellar. The hotel itself is stunning, sitting beachfront to the Gulf. Everything one would need for a perfect vacation is within either the hotel itself or less than a 10 minute walk. From the moment I made reservations for my last trip in October and spoke with Justin, the Assistant Operations Manager, about our room and the accommodations I knew we would have a memorable trip. Justin was gracious, attentive, and went out of his way to make the week wonderful. I honestly didn't have to request anything additional as he seemed to just know what would make it great. The upgrade he provided was perfect for both my 9 year-old son and I and it set the tone for a much needed, wonderful vacation. As an added surprise he provided us with vouchers for breakfast, which let me tell you was an added luxury as a 9 year old boy can certainly eat! The staff at Swim Bar are just amazing. Mandy and Andrew simply go out of their way to not only provide exceptional guest service but also seem to genuinely care for each and every guest.

Hotel staff very friendly and helpful the resort is well-appointed great pool and pool deck overlooking the gulf. The resort is Oceanfront you must cross the street to get to the beach it is a public beach. The hotel does provide beach towels for the beach and there's plenty of umbrellas and canopies for rent at a reasonable price on the beach. Clearwater Beach itself is a white sand beach nice Clearwater and there's a long-distance where it's not deeper than 5 ft which is great for the kids.

Everything was perfect. The staff was so attentive and friendly. All the amenities you want are within walking distance to the hotel. Joe was the bomb in helping us check in early and upgrading. John the valet person was friendly and remembered our names despite seeing tons of people coming in and out all day. It was the perfect vacation in the perfect spot. We will be definetly going back!

Amazing hotel. Your holiday begins with champagne while you check in. Beautiful rooms. A huge lovely pool overlooking the Gulf and floors above street level. Cocktails poolside from the bar. Make sure you order a cocktail in the coconut monkey glass. Great grouper nuggets as well. We can't wait to stay again. ❤❤

Hotel is really easy to get to. Room with kitchenette even has a blender. Balcony on the South side offers a great view. Staff is incredibly friendly and informative. Options for groceries, liquor, etc are all within walking distance. Would recommend. Beach is right out of the back, the sand is soft and the water is calm, clear, and perfectly tepid.

We love Hyatt and usually try to stay at one, so we booked the Clearwater for a quick getaway. Asked for Oceanfront, got a parking lot view, so the bellman Mike called front desk and got us moved to the Oceanfront we originally requested. The new room was great except for the scalding hot shower that wouldn't go cold until off. Also the mold and mildew in shower (red and black) was kinda gross. The best part of the stay was MIke the bellman, the bloody mary's, and the Cabana for the day when we checked out of our room. This hotel has a bad cleanliness problem, everywhere. Every bathroom that wasn't my room we used had junk splattered on walls, floors were gross, smelled musty, and needed attending. I was really disappointed as Hyatt is usually a much higher standard.

Had my wedding here in June. All staff was great! Including bar tenders. Stayed total of 3 nights. Rooms alittle pricey but worth the money overall.

I went to the bar from the beach. Service was great. Good drinks. Fair price.

The beach was awesome. The water was beautiful. I really enjoyed myself as well as my family. The weather was just right. It was boat rides, jet skies, and awesome restaurant off the beach. It was a great vacation place. The hotels off the beach offer a great view of the water. Awesome vaction spot.

We rented bikes from a vendor under the Hyatt hotel in Clearwater. The gentleman who assisted was rather rude to us and within 15 min our bike pedal came off. We returned with rental and he apologized and offered another bike. However we were tired and just decided to skip the offer. Nothing else was offered for our inconvenience and the young man was still very unprofessional. I will not be returning soon or reccomend this establishment to friends and family. I am a frequent visitor of Clearwater Beach.

Only used it for public parking since the other lots were full. $30 for the day seemed pricey, but was right at the beach and quick in and out. Would use again if we had to.

Absolutely amazing staff with great views of the beach. In walking distance of a ton of things to do. A destination must if you're visiting Clearwater Beach.

I was trying to decide where to spend my vacation especially that the hotel plays a great role in how I enjoy my vaccation so I was between palm beach 4 seasons hotel & clear water Hyatt regency & since I always go to 4 seasons I decided this year to try Hyatt! I definetly regret it & though there some positives but the negatives are more: — when we came to check in, we came early & the check in time is 4 pm & I thought it is like the 4 seasons where they have guest rooms that are ready for you till your room is ready & I was informed by the staff that they don't have this option & offers to stay on the 16th floor for 4 hours. I called several times because my daughter was sick & puking & literally there is no place to give her a bath & there was no consideration for my sick child — we checked in & the room is spacious clean. Strong warm water in the bathrooms but the hotel has very strange design. I have never seen a hotel where the pool is on the 8 th floor & the Jakousy on the 16 th floor. If I want to go to my room on the 15th floor, I have to look for the right elevator other wise you will go the 15th floor but won't find your room. Then people come from the beach through the restaurant which made me unfomfortable with people looking at me while I am eating. -Staff is friendly but not professional & fail in comparison to four seasons staff. I have to wait for 2 or more hours for stuff to be brought to my room.

The location is beautiful. The room was very nice but the hotel lost our reservation to be on the same floor as the rest of our party. There was a wedding while we stayed which resulted in some areas being unavailable to us. Some of the staff were genuinely friendly while others were not. The hotel does not have private beach access which means it was very busy. Our other party had multiple problems with their room keys and lock. Security couldn't even get into the room and had to break in. It was a fun time but the room was too expensive.

Nice hotel. Rooms are very spacoius with full kitchen. Great view fom room and the restaurant. Only dislike was that the in room Wi-Fi is not included. It is free in lobby only.

I & my family had a great weekend in Hyatt Regency in Clearwater. Big suite with 2 queen sized bed, 2 bathrooms, huge living room, full kitchen & a balcony with amazing view of the sea & the pool. Clean suite, good housekeeping service, good wireless internet & big TVs. Luxury services with valet parking & concierge. Great onsite restaurants with great view & close to many attractions & other restaurants. Thanks for the amazing & relaxing weekend.

From the very first greeting from Barillio at the front desk, I felt pampered and special. My stay at the Hyatt was bittersweet. I was there to celebrate my 42 wedding anniversary, without the love of my life who had passed 6 months prior. I was there to fulfill a promise, to raise a toast at sunset to my love, and to sooth my soul at the waters edge. My room was gorgeous. (Thanks for the upgrade! ) Which was extremely important since I knew I'd been spending a lot of time in my room. The rooms were huge. I got lost in the bathroom 3 times. There was a lovely balcony looking over the pool and onto the beach. I love to sit out there even after dark and watch the white caps roll up onto the shore. I was pretty much a hermit during my stay, so room service for every meal was essential. Great food. One of the best hamburgers I've ever had anywhere. Who knew? I wasn't there to shop or go to clubs… but to heal. I was on the beach early morning and then again at sunset every day. The quick walk across the street was an easy stroll (even for a woman with a bad knee. ) Every single person who I came in contact with at the hotel was smiling, gracious and welcoming. From the people who delivered my meals, the maid, to the people behind every counter… everyone took that little extra time for special service. I also had the very best massage I've ever had. I swear the girl had the hands of a goddess. Thank you to everyone for helping to turn this difficult time into a sweet memory.

One word summary = Annoying The only good thing I can say is that the 900sq foot room was very nice overall, but TV's are out of date. Internet speed was decent 3-5mbit Now for the not so good. — The hotel has a weird floor plan/design. There are so many elevators, but they all go to different floors. Confusing. Bathrooms are far away from entrances. — The pool is located on the 8th floor, and the hot tub is on some other floor (we tried looking for it, didn't find it, because the elevator took us to the wrong spot in the hotel). — There is an elevator on the first floor by the parking garage. It seemed convenient when we wanted to go to the pool after being on the beach, but the elevator goes only to the 7th floor. So, we had to walk all sandy through this giant hallway, and then another, to get to the regular elevator that could get us to the 8th floor to the pool (where nothing worked, the water was cold, the bar was closed, etc. ) No wonder there was not one person by the pool. And we were told the hotel was sold out that day. So they wouldn't extend the stay. — Restaurant charges tip automatically. Therefore waiters don't feel the need to work. The service is worse than in some cheaper restaurants. Didn't bring coffee in time. Had no sugar on the table. Forgot to deliver food. So by the time, the food got to the table, it was freezing cold.

After 12 hours of meetings, I get back to my room, very tired, looking forward to decompressing and when I get to my room, my key won't open my door. I call downstairs and within minutes I was cheerfully greeted by a very nice gentleman in maintenance who tried to open my door unsuccessfully… he had to call Engineering. While this could have turned into a very bad experience quickly, this gentleman's attitude and demeanor was wonderful. He stayed with me while I waited for Engineering making sure all was taken care of in a timely manner, very apologetic, and made sure everything was taken care of including my key being identified by the new door lock in place. I would and WILL HIGHLY recommend the hotel to ALL of my colleagues and friends. Thank you Hyatt Regency of Clearwater!

I was left holding for 9 minutes while reservationist checked availability for the very next night. I was then rerouted back to the front desk for my answer after 2 more transfers. I described my experience to the person at the front desk and they couldn't care less.

The ac went out due to weather. And the hotel worked with everyone hand over fist to compensate. They put people in other hotels… comped rooms. They went and bought fans for everyone that decided to stay. The ac was fixed within hours and the staff was extremely courteous and accommodating. Aside from that our stay was trouble free and very relaxing. I would recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a great place to stay while visiting clearwater beach.

Had an amazing time! The hotel was beautiful, the views were amazing, everyone was super friendly! First hotel in a long time where I actually felt that I was getting MORE than what I paid for. I mean… the kitchen was fully stocked with cups, plates, utensils, and pots and pans… you could LITERALLY cook dinner here if you wanted to! Only cons really were that the TV quality wasn't great (but really, who stays at a beach resort to watch tv? ) and the construction next door was slightly annoying. I HIGHLY recommend the Hyatt! It's worth way more than you pay for it! We'll probably be staying again soon!

Awesome. We love it there. We started going there about 3 months after they opened. They have friendly staff and awesome rooms. We took our daughter there for her 17th birthday and stayed in the 2 bedroom gulf front suite. Just gorgeous views from everywhere in the suite. We had another great stay at the Hyatt! Way to go guys…

Best hotel on clearwater beach! Its verys nice and clean. The rooms are very clean. The staff is very nice. Even tho is a bit on the pricey side, your getting what you paid for, a vacation!

We were charged for 30$ for 2 hours hotel parking (Hotel is located near the beach), no pricing signs or any warnings. Parking lots around offered their service for as low as 2-4$ per hour.

I have been to this hotel 2 times. The stay was amazing! Staff was very patient, sweet, and we're very helpful. First stay was in about 2012 we got a handicapped room due to my mother being hemiplegic. The room was clean and smelled like nice flowers. The shower was perfect for my mother to go into without struggling. The bathroom was nice and big so she can roll her wheel chair in. The beds are nice and clean. When we came back from a full day of swimming, (my best friend came with us on the trip) we came back to the room once again being nice and clean and found cute chocolates shaped like seashells wrapped in nice gold wrapping, and rested on both beds in the room! I was so shocked and happy! the bathrooms are so clean and the soaps, lotions, etc smelled lovely. The food tasted super good (my favorite is the salmon). We had a beautiful view of the beach. The pool WAS NOT freezing cold. It was heated. The pool has a breath taking view of the beach and sundown! - second stay in 2014 was even BETTER. (i invited the same friend I did in 2012) when we first got to the hotel everyone was still very patient and sweet. Check out was also fantastic (like always). It still smelled like gorgeous flowers. Once we got to our room, it looked even better than the other room we stayed in. It had a better view of the beach. My mother still was able to get around, which is a huge bonus. When we first got to the room, 20 mim later room service knocked on our door.

Nice room but pool is icecold and there is no sunshine. Best for conferenses not for familyholidays.

Absolutely beautiful and very spacious suite with an ocean view from our terrace. The hotel staff is very kind and helpful from the valet parking attendants to the bell boys and front desk employees. Definitely one of the best we have stayed at.

Beautiful view, amazing pool deck, and close enough to the beach (not on the beach though, its across the street). The rooms were very spacious and the TV was huge. I prefer space over cluttered with couches and tables. Shower was pretty nice Gym was ok, only up to 50lb weights. But open 24 hours. Lobby had a cleaning chemical smell to it. Staff was pretty friendly.

We had a wonderful first time trip to the Gulf Coast of Florida and the staff at the Hyatt was EXCEPTIONAL! This was our first stay at a Hyatt and it will not be our last. We had an issue with one of our balcony doors being broke. We asked for assistance on day one and no one responded. Day two we spoke to Doug a bellman, that immediately responded. We then heard from Julia Hamm, an assistant manager for the front office. She told us the parts were on order, and stated she could move us to a new room. We already had a balcony that worked so we opted not to. Julia sent up a beautiful dessert tray for our troubles that evening. Thank you Julia and Doug for your kindness and quick response. Also would like to comment on Katie, a server on the pool deck. She was professional, kind, remembered our names daily, what we preferred to drink and saved us from 5 visitors that were trying to charge drinks and food to OUR room number. She did her job and asked for their names and realized there was no match! Imposters! She also stated what a wonderful company that Hyatt was to work for and we can see why now on our 1st trip to a Hyatt! She made our days at the pool completely fun and relaxing! Also, I would like to mention Maria, the housekeeping staff, our room was decadent every day! We could tell the difference when she had a day off because it just wasn't as well done. Overall it was a fantastic trip due to the staff alone!
