Paid this establishment a deposit for 4 nights on my credit card. The day I arrived you have to call a number and tell them you are there everything is virtual you never see them Notified me the day we were supposed to check in that she wasnt going to honor our My reservation because I did not register my reservation online who even does that? Before I knew it I checked my bank account after my phone call she took the entire amount of my reservation plus $100 then contacted me and said she would give me a room the same day for double the price I was paying I called my bank and called the Clearwater Police the officer stated this is a common problem with this hotel. I have filed charged against him for fraud. SHe is a thief and could careless that he put us in a horrible position. Location1.0Service1.0Rooms1.0

My wife booked a stay for 4-16 to 4-18 through booking. Com. She arrived on 4/16 and stayed the night. Their toilet wouldn’t flush so her friend went to the front desk to get a plunger. She was advised that they were not allowing her to stay any more because her booking was up. She showed the booking. Com receipt which showed the 16th-18th and the front desk manager was extremely rude and showed her the computer which stated the 15-17th. She said there were no more rooms available. My wife was upset rightfully so and voiced her frustration and then the manager said that her head housekeeper went from room 10 to her room which was room 11 and smelled marijuana smoke. This was not true as my wife has a medical condition where she can not smoke. They were asked to leave the premises. I called and was lied to saying that they did have other rooms but refused to put her in another room. (She told my wife there were no rooms. ) She then proceeded to say my wife was smoking in her room which is absolutely untrue. She was extremely rude and ended up hanging up on me. There have also been similar complaints from this establishment with the same accusations. I have disputed this transaction with my bank as she was charged for two nights and only stayed one night. I would never recommend this facility and would rather use an AirBNB for the same price. Note the picture: this is the kind of customer service you can expect. Rude!

My kids and I had a great time staying here for our mini vacation! Rooms were very clean and accommodating. Staff was so very nice! We will be staying again!

Clean, Comfortable, affordable.

Terrible service! would not refund ANY portion of the money for my room, even though this virus forced my good friends to cancel their wedding plans! I booked a room less than 2 weeks ago, now because there Government is recommending to avoid gatherings of less than 50, and not to fly unless necessary, for safety reasons, you would think there would be some sort of relief?!? I called the office to speak with a manager and was only referred back to Booking. Com. Booking said it was up to the property manager, who wouldn't even entertain a conversation. I actually would have even been ok to split the cost. do not book at this hotel.

Do not use this facility! In the middle of Covid 19 they are placing profit before public health. I have spent the last 2 days trying to get a refund for a trip I just booked last week! They have refused and unlike all other properties we are dealing with, will not even issue a credit. I will be following up with a Consumer Protection complaint also. Stay clear.

Comfortable beds, clean, close to beach loved the new tiki bar!

My kids were sound asleep on the bed and the bed broke. Me and my husband had to get up and fix the bed at almost 3 in the morning. While fixing it we had to life the bed up. Underneath the bed is covered in black mold. While on the floor fixing the bed we noticed that the other bed is covered in blood.

5 stars! I’m here now. The place isn’t much to look at, inside or out. My first impression was disappointing, but honestly, I like this place. Full kitchen in the room, walking distance to the shops and beach, priced right, and they take good care of the property. As I sit outside, I’m watching maintenance pick up trash in the parking lot. I’ve stayed in enough hotels to know that they don’t do that often. I will absolutely stay here again on my next visit!

Very pleased with the stay here! Close to the beach and to a lot of dining places. The room is very clean and smells amazing! The lady at the front desk was plesent and helpful. I'll defianely stay here every time if I come down this way again.

For the most part a decent hotel it is walking distance from the beach so that's nice. Their pool goes from 4ft-7ft deep which is also nice. Restaurants in walking distance as well and they allow you to rent out bikes with no extra charge. The room was small, but I didn't mind since the reason I was visiting was not to be in the room all day. It had a decent sized fridge, a microwave, and flat screen TV. The reviews did state issues with the hotel however be aware that when I checked in recently they did advise me that I guess they are being leased by two other hotels right next to it and so some things where being changed. You could also use the pool to all three hotels which was nice to know. The only thing that bothered me was the fact that they took a picture of the front and back of my ID and my credit card, I don't believe that is necessary. When I checked it the young lady with the glasses (I missed her name) was do sweet and very kind, by far the most friendly staff member.

Wont complain much. Definitely not the best, even though they brag about being on Clearwater for over 25 years. Guess its not enough years to improve service. However, if you do follow the guidelines, you should have a somewhat nice stay. Rooms are clean and the lady in the front desk is very nice.

Pretty hotel — BUT this lady who works there barged into our room 30 minutes before we were suppose to check out (and we had the do-not-disturb sign hanging on the knob outside) she came in and argued saying we had a 5th person even though it was just us 4 the whole time and we had our 2 keys. We traveled a long way to get there. She continued to argue with everybody and gave us tons of attitude. We were all sleeping and having a great vacation until this crazy lady gave us a hard time and not only did she ignore the fact that the door was locked with the sign on it, she argued and insulted one of my friends by pointing in her face while arguing. She disrupted our vacation and made everyone upset and extremely uncomfortable. Spend your money elsewhere. NEVER coming back to this hotel again. That old lady gave us horrible vibes from the start! She couldn't even admit when she was wrong. I feel she came into our room intentionally, given the fact that we are 4 young adults and two of us being Hispanic. Screw this hotel.

Worst time I’ve ever had in a hotel. The owner barged into our room without even knocking and when we had a DO NOT DISTURB sign hanging on the door, I was in my underwear and everyone else was, and proceeded to argue with us saying we had one extra person (we only had 4 people not 5) she said this guy gave her a key for our room and said he was checking out of OUR ROOM! She didn’t even go back to the office and check if that was the the correct room he was checking out on she just assumed it was our room. She said we were liars and had this kind of ‘I’m smarter then you I’m older then you’ kind of vibe. She was the NASTIEST UGLIEST MEANEST old lady I’ve EVER met, I can’t believe she’s the owner, so disrespectful. She said she was sorry for the confusion but sorry does not cut it for something like this I want my money back. We left the room in AMAZING condition and I still HAVEN’T GOTTEN MY DEPOSIT BACK!

The Motel itself is actually not so bad. Rooms are cozy and the location is ideal. What made the stay bad was 1 particular staff member. All other staff was great. But this 1 old lady that works there follows certain poeple around like you're about to steal the ground she walks on. She made the stay feel so uncomfortable that myself and my guests tried to stay out as much as possible. And even still when we were around she watched our every move. I hope its not a race thing, but sure as hell felt like it. Needless to say I will not be staying here again and I will only recommend to my lighter skinned friends.

Whatever you do avoid this hell hole. Upon check-in they tried to make a photo copy of my ID. That is not acceptable. I live nearby in Tampa and picked up two friends in the morning to join me on the beach. My friends were waiting outside the room by the pool while I was getting ready. I heard a knock on the door and before I could answer a woman claiming to be the owner let herself in. I was standing in my underwear and she asked me "how many people are staying in this room? " I told her two. She called me a liar and said that the two young men outside said that they are with me. I said that they are with me but are only visiting for the day, I was running them home later. She said I am only allowed to have two people in the room. I was furious. I asked why she barged into my room and what she wanted. She pointed to my pool float and said, "no sleeping on the floor — fire hazard". Please remember, I am standing in my underwear. She then threatened to evict me without a refund. I told her that I had never been treated so badly by anyone. My weekend was ruined by this overreaching, invasive and abrasive woman. My friends are black and Latino. I know that is the real reason she came to harass me. I immediately left that horrible place and checked into the Hilton just down the street. The place is way overpriced for the room that you get. The Hilton is the same price and much, much nicer. Please read all of the other terrible reviews about his place.

Omg. Whatever you do. Do not stay at this hotel. I had some friends coming to visit me out of town and they didn't want to impose on me to stay in my condo. And wanted to stay close to the beach. So they checked in here. They said the person at the desk was nice when checking in. They said the air conditioner wouldn't keep the room cooled so they contacted the front desk. The "quote" owner came to check it and said it was because they came in and out of the room too much. Not so. Then they left to go get lunch and when they came back there was no parking spaces and had to pay $30 to park next door. Then come to find out the owner was out with a sign parking people in his spaces and charging people. I won't continue to tell you the rest of the nightmare but they ended up staying with me. So pay a little extra and stay at a nicer place. I promise you won't regret it.

This placed served the purpose of having a hotel room close to the beach and close to Pier 60 activity. The room was clean. We found the woman owner to be friendly to us. Pool was well maintained. With that said, the bathroom is extremely small and the bathroom electric outlet worked sporadically. AC should have more BTU but room was cool enough by the time we went to sleep at 10. We were in room 27. Owner was willing to let us stay in her lot after checkout if we wanted to. This is not he Hilton, Wyndham, etc. You get what you pay for and this was adequate.

You have to watch your card bill after leaving more than 24 hours after check out the literally stole 100 dollars out of our account this was just on Sunday the tenth very shady when I called they tried to say we had a dog when we did not still fighting with them to get our money which what fraudulently charged beware don’t stay here it could happen to you and probably will.

We stayed here 1 night, and thats 1 night too many. The beds in room 12 were terrible, 2 double beds for 4 of us! Two adults and 2 children, it was tge worst sleep ive had yet. The shower was awful, VERY small and not good if you have littles as the shower head doesnt turn or lower. If it was the 50's the room would have been up to date. The young man who checked us in was fantastic, the 2 ladies the next morning not so much. We had asked for a later checkout as it is for 10, and we were hoping to stay until noon. Nope sorry, there response was they were booked up and needed us out so they could clean and be ready for the next guests. We completely understand, but they also told us to make sure our car was moved as well. Funny enough we drove by later this afternoon to an almost completely empty lot. We just felt rushed out, they got our money its time to leave. The pool was ok, it was cool even though they claimed it was heated. Very deep, we brought my daughters life jacket abd they supplied noodles. Our room had a great fridge, cutlery, glasses and plates which was great. We recommend you stay elsewhere. The $200 we spent on this room was not worth it.

Very clean, owner is very attentive and will not allow loud partying. Window blinds are not wide enough, no alarm clock, very tiny shower, and bathroom and room is fairly small. Beds and bed linens comfortable. Pool is shaded in afternoon, but usually heated. Short walk to beach, convenience stores and good restaurants. Laundry is free (after 3pm) and many nice beach chairs, bikes, things to check out for free I believe.

Pretty expensive for what you get. But, just one block back from Clearwater Beach. I suppose that is what you pay for. Very clean. Staff helpful and nice.

BEWARE! Do not stay here! The facility and staff is very Deceiving. We travel a lot and this is by far the worst experience we have ever had. The staff and owner put you off and tell you to keep calling back when trying to change a reservation until they have you within the window of being unable to modify and then tell you you can’t without still paying for nights you can’t even stay! They lead you on and are useless until they think they have you locked in. Upon checking in the older women w an accent was so awful. Magda I believe was her name or something of their nature. She was yelling at us and being intrusive of our personal space when we questioned the charges we were paying for to stay there when it was promised to have been worked out. She came out from behind the reception desk and was inches from my face raising her voice and being awful. That’s the way we started our vacation. My husband angry and me in tears in complete disbelief that we were being treated this was where we were paying patrons! Upon checking into our room. It was unreal how deceiving the photos were of the facility. Room 10 was dirty and had terrible ac. The flooring was disgusting. The gentleman and his wife that were renting a room next to us and similar complaints and said they frequent Clearwater and will never stay there again. We agreed. We couldn’t even shower our last day their because the water temperature wouldn’t regulate and it was scalding hot, felt like it was burning our skin!

My family and I had a horrible experience! My husband and two children who are 3 and 1 was made to upgrade to a room with three beds because of the children! That cost us 400 more dollars! Our children sleep with us. Never had a problem at a hotel. The owner was so rude to us and everything my daughter did she got on to her over. It was a pain to even get towels! Never stay here again. Ruined our whole vacation!

Our first night we lost hot water due to a broken pipe, ok no biggie that happens. However our second night the power went out around 9pm until about 9am due to a blown breaker supposedly. (Nobody was there to help us, front deck was closed). The glued on outlet covers are there to cover up the out dated 1950s wiring. I'm sure the fire marshal will love this place. To top things off some fat blonde had the nerve to argue and accuse us of using the A/C and Heat at the same time immediately after we just had the same conversation with the maintenance man. Next time I'll be sure to check out another motel in the area and stay away from this place, nobody wants to argue on there vacation.

This is a quaint, clean and safe place. It has an old Florida feel with helpful staff.

Don't work for THESE people… Or beside conniving Ronda! Let alone stay here. The owner is a joke. Her hkpr tells her how to do her job! Keep your no one here has a degree in hospitality, family owned and residing. I BET their family wrote those positive reviews & nobody returned to stay here. — keep the money u owe me.

Don't stay here. Go to the Beachiew! They have kitchenettes as well dining tables and the staff is extremely respectful and professional.

I didn't stay here, but I worked here for three weeks before I was let go because it wasn't going to work out. I knew it was family owned but I didn't know the family also stayed on the property. That's not good for business. It does explain alot. I was hired to ease the work load off their raggedy, no pride, toothless housekeeper rhonda. So the restrooms are filled with mold and mildew. The ceilings & walls sweat during the winter. You can hear other guest conversations through your room as the walls are thin. Guest are giving 2 towels 2 cloths and hand towels no matter what. The linen is filed with hair. — At my full time job w give the guest whatever they want to keep them smiling and happy. — The rooms are a joke that's why guest barely tip, why would they! Good work is hard to come by that's why you're stuck cleaning your own rooms with Ronda. But if you can't afford five stars by all means settle for 1. My first day on the job guest were smoking weed on the patio. The staff is unprofessional, nobody has knowledge of the hospitality business & don't know how to address guest. Don't worry about paying me btw keep your money. Guess you need it. America Loves You.

Worst experience in clearwater. I booked 3 days in the standard room full bed. Very small room with no privacy. Windows beside the bed in front of the walkway. The internet is terrible, impossible to use for work. When I asked to change rooms I was informed that it would be impossible because of the amount paid, $ 111.00 a day without breakfast. The next day I requested the cancellation of the other days I was informed that there would be refound of the other 2 days as it was in politics. Limited desk hours to be attended to and solve problems. Staff not so friendly.

Im glad we booked with our credit card. This place is an absolute dump. The staff is very rude. The room was less than 100 sq feet. We had no hot water. It was not clean, and there were bugs. The place reeked of cigarette smoke. When we asked about a refund because we were leaving they told us too bad. Luckily I had paid with my credit card and Capital one was quick to issue me a refund. Not to mention its about 2 blocks from the beach and they charged $200 a night!

I'm giving this a hotel a 2 instead of a 1 only because it was actually clean. Other than it being clean, we had the absolute worse possible experience. It started with false advertising of the pictures. The pictures online showed in the suite we booked that the beds were in separate rooms which we wanted, only to walk in and see all 3 beds in the same room. I spoke to the person working in the front office about this and her response was, "oh you can't go by the pictures online, we only have one room here with beds in separate rooms. " So I then ask for a refund because I wouldn't of booked a room with all the beds in the same room. So Friday night, my young son has a seizure and throws up all over the bed and all over the floor so I request new sheets and towels after I cleaned it up, we are told we have asked for too many towels. To top that off, we are in the other room and open the kitchen door to find the owner in OUR room without knocking or asking permission to be in our personal space. We paid $430 and expect some privacy. With a couple of other annoyances such as not having an ice machine and having to go to the store every time we need ice and rude altercations with staff in the two night stay we had there, we checked our bank account on the way home and see a $100 charge in there. I call the hotel to ask what it's about and they told me they charged us for having two extra adults in the room, which we did not. They saw an air mattress in our room and just ASSUMED.

We stayed for 3 Nights and had a wonderfull time. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. Everything is in walking distance or you take a bike ;)

My friend booked this motel!. He couldn't find better places during spring break. We stayed 6 nights. Close to beach and restaurants. They don't have house cleaning service every day! You need to ask them clean your room, if you don't request change the bed sheets they don't change. They just pick up your garbage, put some towels in room that's it. Don't expect to clean your room floor, dust or bathroom. We stayed 6 nights only 2 times bed sheets changed because we had to ask them few times. Floor was dirty, bathroom is not cleaned and bed stained. I will not stay in this place again. This place will look good on website and tell you have kitchen but dirty place I ever stayed.

Unfortunately, we were not so happy here. Our room was right on the street or the parking lot and you could see directly into our room (blinds were insufficient), toilet was clogged and there were lots of strange hair in bed. At the reception was unfortunately no one to solve this (during the stated times! ) PS: Smallest bad ever.

We live in Indiana & we chose to book with Brightwater Suites online when planning our vacation. It was very close to the beach & central to everything! The rooms looked great in pictures & proved to be great once we arrived! We had a fantastic experience during our entire stay there! The front desk receptionist & staff are friendly and they were very welcoming. Our room was tidied up daily and we appreciated their attention to detail. We always had fresh clean towels and everything we needed restocked. It was honestly just an all around great place to stay! We plan on going back again this summer :)

Love this place! The location is awesome! Comfortable rooms with a clean pool and good service! Will definitely stay again next time we are visiting Clearwater beach! Have recommended too multiple friends and family members!

The rooms are quaint for couples who plan on spending a lot of time outside. So it was fine for us. However, their customer service needs work. They did not inform us of the 10:00 check out time, or that if you are not checked out by 11 there is a half a day charge, and full day charge if you're not out by noon. We were informed all of this upon checkout, by a less than professional young lady whose robotic answer is to repeat the check-out times and cost. And don't bother trying to speak to the manager. They're not there.

Love this hotel! Clean and super close to the beach… Just across the street from the beach! have stayed there on multiple occasions… With a large family group, and with just my husband. They accommodate us easily every time. I love the cute kids' pool chairs for our neive and nephew! Teresa, the owner, is always welcoming! :) Definitely recommend! Will be going back!

The hotel is very clean, recently remodeled, beautiful inside with a comfortable bed. They have a very friendly and accommodating staff. It is so convenient to everything. Very nice pool with lots of lounge chairs. The only complaints are bathroom is small, walls thin (hear the neighbors come home at 2:30a) no full length mirror and no coffee. We would definitely recommend.

We stayed here for a week during the Fire Chief's Symposium in November. This place felt like home away from home. The owner lives onsite and was very pleasant to deal with. After the week, we felt like family. The walk was nice and central. We are booking our next stay, but for pleasure this time.

My husband and me spent one night here and the experience was so good. The studio was comfortable and very clean. We called first but no one picked up the call so we just came there and the owner was very friendly. Couple one minute walking to the beach, good location. We will come again.

Loved this place! Gorgeous building, spacious rooms, and a lovely pool! Everything was very clean and well kept. The owners are extremely accommodating and friendly. We had a great time here and were very comfortable throughout our stay. The location is also spectacular. The beach is 5 minutes away on foot, and there are many restaurants close-by. Brightwater has everything you need for the perfect family vacation!

We stayed at Bright Suites in Clearwater Beach and we loved it. The rooms are all bright, clean and well maintained. The owners have had some fun decorating. The "beach" decorations are fun! The entire complex is very well-maintained. Everything is clean and inviting. The location is fantastic. Only a short walk to the beach. Very close to all other amenities. The owners are fantastic! They were very accessible and friendly! Great place for a family or a group of friends looking to hang out at the beach. Highly recommend Brightwater Suites!

I have a beautiful and relaxing vacation spent. Not only is the location close to a beautiful beach, but the Hotel itself and also the place I can only recommend it!. The family, which the Hotel operates, is very helpful and friendly. The Hotel is very comfortable and above all very clean and well equipped. The area is quiet. My room was very large and bright with a wide and very comfortable bed and I had a kitchenette, which is very convenient. There is also a very well-kept Pool. Also the location is very good, walking is one right on the beautiful beach (3 Min. ) or in the town centre. You can in the area is also very good Cycling. I will for sure come back when I vacation in Florida will spend.

The location of the hotel is very good, close to the Clearwater Pier. The rooms are clean with modern decoration as well as kitchens inside the rooms have all necessary amenities. Pool is very clean with deckchairs and umbrellas. Owners are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is worth its price.
