Nice motel friendly staff.

They were not friendly or family were rude. I post these pictures I stayed at the holiday in Montrose Colorado I asked for early check in
Front desk manager Denise was very rude and her supervisor was even router so the room is very filthy as you can see the pictures I had mold in my shower mold in my current dirty floor that that was filthy dirty had pink mold already in bed I made the bed up the microwave was dirty so when I called it in housekeeping came in clean the mold take the curtains down and wash her hair put it out the floor was filthy dirty there was a pattern on the floor where the bathmat was that not removed to mop in that area I pointed out the microwave was not clean she took a rag and cleaned it she didn’t clean it with any Lysol
Saturday night I came in I asked if I could stay over for the next night and the supervisor was busy with someone else I know the young lady came by and help me she said yes you can do and I said thank you so they’re on I thought it was spend the night Sunday night one more night in my same room so I went on my day Sunday Denise calls me she tells me I need to check out by 11 that was 1130 I said excuse me I have I have a stay over till Monday I said I got it OK last night I said why are you difficult being so rude again so I called Holiday In 800-number reported it.

Pool. Not big enough for the amount of people who want to use it! Needs bigger pool.

Hotel staff is super passive aggressive about smoking. This week I've been locked out twice (staff clearly saw me on security cam) and also had the entryway blocked to the designated smoking area by the hotel shuttle. I get it… the smell is weird. But absolutely no reason to lock a guest outside because you disapprove. Breakfast has not been fresh. Bagels stale, gravy crusty, sausage tough/chewy, coffee creamer old and gooey. The bathroom floor grout is visibly dirty and lots of hair behind the door. Parking stinks. Doubt I'll ever stay here again. Not that this review matters… good riddance smokers right? Nevertheless very disappointed in the level of hospitality shown here. I've been to many far busier, fancier hotels who are much more accomodating. Oh and don't expect to check in early even if you've paid in advance, which is understandable — but treatment from front desk toward business travelers like myself was short and curt that after a 10 HR trip was less than refreshing.

My husband received several bed bug bites after staying at this Holiday Inn Express location, confirmed by a doctor. We called the location informing them of the issue and asked to speak with a GM. We have called several times since and have received no reply from the GM or any type of resolution. We also contacted the corporate office directly and they sent a generic email saying they were sure the manager would take care of the situation. We received no apology, no compensation for our troubles and no response. Clearly, this company and the people who run these locations could care less about customer experience. I will never stay at a Holiday Inn location again.

We stayed here one night while visiting Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Staff was friendly at check in, room was clean and comfortable, and bathroom was nice with hot water and good water pressure. They have a good continental breakfast in the morning with a nice selection of hot and cold items. Overall, a nice stay as expected for Holiday Inn and we would stay here again if in Montrose.

Went to Montrose for a wedding. I was able to find the hotel easily. Arrived early and the staff was very accommodating. Able to take the kids to the pool while we were waiting. Room was clean. Had a pretty good setup for the continental breakfast as well. I would definitely return when I'm Montrose!

My room wasn't ready at check-in, so they upgraded me to a King suite. Great hospitality and friendly staff. The complementary continental breakfast is above average. Nice indoor pool and gym. Located right next to Safeway which is convenient.

This is an excellent venue for conferences and the like. Reliable (and fast) Wi-Fi, comfortable seats and decent acoustics. Highly recommended!

Nice place and staff very helpful. We needed a garden shovel, but were from out of town & didn't want to buy one if we didn't have to. Front desk staff was kind enough to let us borrow one from the maintenance staff. Definitely went above and beyond for us.

Excellent service. Great breakfast options and lovely indoor pool and hot tub, as well as an outdoor hot tub!

Great hotel. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, pool, gym, close to restaurants and a grocery store, refrigerator and microwavein the rooms, and to top it off, complimentary breakfast. Highly recommended.

Nice place. Beds a bit hard and the night we were there, police were very present. For hours and hours… I don't know if they were staking something out but it was a bit uncomfortable.

I would like to start this review by letting everone know that I did not make a reservation. For this reason I cannot attest to the hotel amenities or cleanliness. I am basing my review solely on customer service (or lack there of). I called today to check availability and get rates. I spoke with Ashley who was short, condescending, and rude. Trust me when I say to you ashley, I know it is Monday and you may be busy. Should I be treated rudely because you are having a bad day? Customer service would dictate that a higher level of decorum be used when booking prospective guest. Ashley, I do thank you though. I almost made the mistake of staying at a holiday inn with an employee incapable of understanding the concept of customer service. After reading some of the reviews and seeing ashley's name on several of the bad reviews holiday inn corporate may want to revamp hiring/termination practices.

Refrigerator, microwave, nice fitness room, indoor pool, outdoor jacuzzi, walking distance to several restaurants, jogging path that goes east. Very pleasant stay.

Staff was pleasant, but honestly the outside is decieving. Bed was uncomfortable (as most hotel beds are). And our room wasn't cleaned well. Mirrors and counter tops were dirty.

Checked me in quickly after a long day I appreciated this greatly! Room was nice, clean and quiet. Fitness room is small, but the equipment was in good working condition. There was one elliptical, one treadmill and one recumbent bike. There are dumbbells, a bench and a mat too.

As good a place as any to have a night stay, and you can't beat the price for what you get. Staff was courteous. Free breakfast. Wi-Fi. Good experience all around.

Very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend for even one night. My family and I came up for one night and were told wrong information and were treated very poorly. There wasn't anyone else at the counter and the lady was very rude with check in. I had multiple family members with many rooms here and all said they had a poor experience.

We was in town for a funeral and this place was so friendly and working with us for there was lot of us who used there rooms clean nice pool hot tubs one inside one outside there breakfast was very good.

I reserved a room here on the IHG website and it was very difficult to use. I finally got a confirmation, but had to cancel — before the cancellation date — this time by calling IHG. Then my card got charged for the room. So, I called IHG. They told me I would have to call the hotel. Did that. Told I would need to speak to the supervisor, Ashley. Called back the next day and was told by Ashley that I would need to speak to the hotel manager, Bettina. Have left two messages for her with no response. I am platinum on Marriott, gold on Hilton and occasionally use Westin or Sheraton. This experience perfectly captures why I don't use IHG hotels like Holiday Inn. Epic fail on customer service almost every time.

Rooms are comfortable, shower pressure was good. They have omlets, sausage, biscuits/gravy plus your typical continental breakfast spread till 10. I forgot shaving cream, but the man at the front desk gave me a free can (which is nice since most places charge).

Love H. I. But housekeeping at this location has gone downhill. Within 3 weeks we stayed in three rooms. All the toilets were hard to flush, there was major dust buildup, and in the shower there was black goop/hair that was disgusting! This location needs to step up their game to get back on par with other locations I frequent.

The pool/spa were nice and the continental breakfast had everything you could think of. Need to work on their staffing! … we stayed at a peak time during the olathe corn festival, and there was a huge wedding party trying to check in at the same time. We had to check in after the festival because were told that our rooms 'weren't clean yet'. They ended up comping our room after we found dried boogers on the bed underneath pillows and smeared onto the headboard. I've never experienced anything so revolting. The front desk was very apologetic and helpful.

Had a professional event at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Montrose. Very clean. Great venue. Adequately spaced. We were very well taken care of. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff, clean room and a courtesy call about an hour after checking in to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Great experience!

Maybe it was because I'd been up for 30 hours upon check-in (which the very wonderful check-in person allowed me to do early) but I'd never been so grateful to see a clean, comfortable hotel room. The employees are all very friendly and helpful, the rooms are nice, and the Wi-Fi isn't awful compared to most hotels. My only very minor complaint is the lack of snack machines in the "vending" room, but I suppose I'll survive.

In town for a week for a work conference. Rooms are great, customer service is perfect, and the breakfast is hot. Best part, I asked for privacy during the day, and they left a bucket of new toiletries outside my room. Would stay again.

Grocery store right next door. Beautiful pool area and adequate gym. The front to has a nice area for sitting outdoors. The staff was extremely friendly as well.

We stayed 3 nights. Awesome breakfast for a hotel. Room was clean. The only problem was that we arrived at 3:00pm and they had quite a few people waiting on rooms when we wanted to check in. It ended up being almost 4:00pm before we were given a room. The guaranteed check in time is 3:00pm so they could do a little better there. Overall a great place to stay!

This place is fine for what it is. The building was built some time in the past and has been renovated relatively recently. The internet is fast enough to stream video. They have a free airport shuttle. The shuttle will also take you around town for $2 each way.

Front desk staff was wonderful at check in. Appearing to actually like their job and having fun yet remaining professional. Rooms were clean and no problems noted. Breakfast staff took pride in her area. She fluttered around checking on guests and assuring there was ample food.

Best. Hotel. Ever. Run by a most effective, kind, loving staff that truly care about you and your stay at their hotel. They make you feel so at home, you almost forget you aren't st home! Love love love this place.

The room was very pretty and the breakfast was much more than I anticipated! Also allowing dogs really eased the trip I was on.

Best Holiday Inn I've ever used. Two hot tubs, indoor heated pool, all facilities working properly, room beautifully updated, good variety at breakfast, hour water for tea that didn't taste like coffee, soft towels and friendly, efficient staff.

Clean and convenient to university. Busy with business conferences.

The room was decent, a little dated, but relatively quiet. Wi-Fi signal strength was good, however during the evenings the shared bandwidth would slow users to a crawl. Sometimes I could get 40+ mbps down and other times 2 mbps. Wi-Fi throughput is a pretty big deal for me as I enjoy streaming instead of watching boring-scheduled cable TV. The breakfast was standard but it had enough to fill you up. The coffee was warm but not hot and had a few flavoring options to dress it up with. Overall, for the price, I would recommend this place.

I am scheduled for a stay in June. I hope the stay is better than trying to make a reservation. It was awful. Never had so much trouble in making a simple reservation.
