I go here for an annual meetup with my motorcycle group. They always treat us well and are always ready for us. They even set up a nice bike washing station. The pool is very refreshing after a long ride, and the breakfast is always good for an early start.

We were traveling and not familiar with the area. I booked a room (Executive Suite — $185 per night). We travel frequently so at $185 a night, I had high expectations. The room was quite large and impressive on first sight. We had been driving for nearly 10 hours and just exhausted. We just wanted to relax. First, the bedside lamp was missing a shade, the floor lamp on the other side of the room did not work. The coffee pot in the room did not work. The second bedroom off the master room did not have air conditioning so the front desk gave us a fan. I plugged the fan in and it didnt work. By this time I was just too exhausted to complain anymore. Unfortunately we checked out the next morning (2 days early) because it just wasnt working for us. We also needed handicap accessible options that the room did not have. Our stay was not terrible and we could have tolerated the things mentioned but not at $185 a night. The front desk staff were very kind and the breakfast offered is one of the best I've had at a hotel with FRESH EGGS!

Would have been five stars except for clump of hair discovered between sheets. Did alert desk operator on checkout; didn't seem to concerned about incident.

The breakfast here is the best I've ever seen offered as included for free! Even eggs cooked to order, or take the scrambled with ham and bell pepper and onions. Sausage, biscuits, gravy, fruit, granola, yogert, cereal, toast, waffles… oj, milk and good coffee. More I'm sure! There is also a HUGE green lawn in back for frolicking kids and pets. A gym, laundry, pool and spa. In room fridge and coffee maker. Very nice, highly recommended. Staff was helpful and friendly also.

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Red Arrow Inn. The room was very clean and spacious. We had 4 adults and a child and the room with two queen sized beds was larger than any traditional hotel room. We had a back patio with chairs overlooking a beautiful large lawn of green grass. The hot tub was the perfect temperature after a long day in the car. Breakfast was delicious with farm fresh eggs made to order any way we liked it. Overall we highly recommend this hotel. They do a lot with what they have. Stayed for two days and the staff were friendly and everything was clean. The breakfast was pretty good for hotel food and they had an employee cooking farm fresh eggs for whoever wanted them. The best part of the stay was the whirlpool tub in my room.

Inn was clean and quiet, and dog friendly. A large grassy area outside the rooms was great for our pup. Breakfast was good, and service was friendly. Decor was a little dated.

Excellent customer service, comfortable beds. A little on the antique side for accomodatioms. Needs to update for handicap access.

I am staying at the Red Arrow once a month for business and Love everything about the Hotel and the staff, I feel like I am home when staying here,, The room is always clean and if I need anything, the staff is so friendly. The Breakfast is also really great, you can have your eggs any way you want. I would refer any friend to stay here at the Red Arrow.

Not sure how this place gets such a good a review. I can see homeless people giving it a three-star review, maybe 4, but not the general public. It's ONLY redeeming quality is they had a room available. Room was gross and I'm pretty sure the floor is giving out. You could feel and hear the plywood bowing as you walked across it and I only weigh 190lbs.

POSITIVE; Check in was smooth, room was big and clean. Comfy bed, updated tv, going to check out breakfast but Ive heard good things about it also. NEGITIVE; Being disabled Id of prefered a room closer to the parking. Strict rules against smoking weed on hotel property = $300 needs changed. I require my medicine and this practice unacceptable in legal states. Remember that Cannabis is medicine!

Shady office, they lost the authorization form we signed after paying for the room. Then told us the next morning we were never charged for that night and had to pay again. After that we discovered out credit card information had been stolen and the account had been empty. The office did next to nothing to solve the issue besides, say sorry. They want me to wait till Monday to speak to a manager. I will be notifying police this morning, and taking more action on the situation. do not stay here, you run the risk of your credit card information being stolen and incorrectly charged. then they will do nothing!

Pretty run down. Not what I expected from a Fodor's recommendation. Toilet ran all night and could not be fixed. Heat and a. C. Were portable units run with extension cord. I would not come back.

If I could give this no stars, I would! We arrived at our room and it had a musty smell. When we turned the air conditioning on there was a RANCID dead smell that gagged us all out of the room. There was no way we could stay in that room! When we went to the front desk to report the disgusting smell, we were asked if we wanted air freshness to help with the smell. I told the lady working there that the smell was unbearable, she asked us if we were in the room that had the bloody towels outside our room?! At this point I was completely disgusted. I have never been in such a filthy hotel room ever! I do not recommend staying here.

No Wi-Fi in the motel and poor Verizon coverage also. Will be glad to get to civilization with good internet! Nice shower and large "executive suite", but electrical outlets are crazy — the top outlet in the 2-outlet plugs do not work. Have never seen that before! Find a better place.

Was in town while on a camping trip, but unfortunately my girlfriend got sick and because of this, we decided to check into a hotel ASAP (this was on a Thursday morning, around 8am). While driving into town, we call to confirm that they had availability for a room, AND also asked if we could check in early, as in earlier than normal check-in times. We were even willing to pay an extra day if necessary. By the way, the lady who answered was also rude and had an attitude. After answering the phone, she introduced herself as "Inga, " and because my girlfriend didn't reciprocate her greeting and personally address her as "Inga, " she because annoyed and bitter in her tone and attitude. Upon arrival at the hotel, we both immediately how empty the parking lot was, AND how most of the hotel rooms had windows with curtains drawn completely open to indicate that the rooms were not occupied. At the front desk, we were greeting by Inga and her coworker, another older lady, who were both were rude and liars. We stated that we had just called in about 10mins ago and was told there was in fact available rooms and that we'd be able to check-in this morning, immediately upon arrival. However, that was NOT the case. They both flat out lied to our faces and said there was no availability, which we both know was definitely true.

The family suite was nice & spacious. And at a reasonable price. Breakfast was very good with cooked to order eggs.

Very clean. Large room and comfy beds. Breakfast was good with farm fresh made to order eggs. Can't wait to go back!

Really liked this place. We had our dogs and no Motel 6 nearby. Very good value. Ultra friendy staff. Great hot breakfast with eggs cooked fresh, waffles, sausage, biscuits and gravy. Used the hot tub after a long day at Black Canyon. They also have workout equipment and a pool. Rooms are huge. Good quality thick towels. Don't miss the fresh cookies and fruit infused ice tea in the lobby.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights, April 22 and 23. The room was very very clean, the office lady was super nice, location is great, parking is ample. Tons of channels on the TV, and heating and cooling mechanisms were available. Best of all, my boyfriend left a shirt in our room and they called less than an hour after we checked out to let us know they had it. It was very considerate, but they never could have known that the shirt in question is a vintage wool Pendleton that he inherited from his Grandfather who recently passed. Fortunately, we were still in town and were able to go get it. It would have been terribly unfortunate to have lost it forever. This small effort made a big difference to us.

Joined my Triumph motorcycle group here. They have been great amd we love comming back every year.

This is a great place to stay in montrose It's not a cookie cutter experience Jerra the owner and all the staff are very friendly as are most people. Even the maintenance guys were friendly and informative Lots of amenities too, I'd recommend the red arrow to anyone!

Great place to stay! They've got great rooms, comfortable beds, friendly and helpful staff, and the best complimentary breakfast I've ever had at a hotel, including much more expensive and reputable places.

Was pretty much exactly what you'd expect for the price. Pretty nice rooms, convenient to grocery stores and restaurants and close to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, which is absolutely beautiful. Only gripe is that breakfast ends at 9:30, which is earlier than at other similar places.

This place has fresh eggs… But that is all. Otherwise, the breakfast is exactly the same as all other hotels. Microwave sausage, biscuits, gravy, canned papia w/pineapple, Seattle's Best coffee… The rooms are large but average in every other way. It was nice that they have cookies, coffee, and tea in the lobby upon check in/out. Oh, and they will make an omelette for you but your options are limited to egg, ham, green peppers. There is no cheese, period.

My wife and I stayed here several times over the past year due to relocating to Montrose. We first started here based on price alone since we felt their prices were fair and reasonable. The level of service we received was incredible. We were remembered each return trip and were always treated excellent. The breakfast bar is great with some things cooked to order. I once ordered eggs cooked in a way they were unfamiliar with and did not get what I asked for but the very next day the cook had researched it and got them right. Amazing service, Amazing value and always friendly. I would recommend this to anyone.

We stayed for 5 days in Sept. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was very good. We will certainly stay here again when we travel to Montrose and would recommend the Red Arrow to everyone.

Great spacious room with very comfortable beds at a great price. Staff was very friendly and called me by my first name. Stayed an extra day to see the sights and just relax.

Pleasantly surprised. Large room, comfortable bed and very clean. Much more than a continental breakfast, farm fresh eggs cooked to order, huge biscuits, waffles, etc and Seattle's best coffee.

Red Arrow Inn was an unexpected but very pleasant surprise. I have always had the impression that motels were dirty and not safe, but Red Arrow has changed my way of thinking on this. The motel management couple, Jacob and Heather, were extremely courteous and helpful. Our room was clean, spaciously large with 2 Queens, a Hot Tub, Shower, and very large bathroom. The TV was modern and the beds were comfy. Breakfast was great with all the standard fare; eggs with peppers, sausage, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, waffles, and more. With such low room rates, I thought breakfast was very good and added excellent value to the stay. During breakfast, Jacob came over to each table and asked if everything was OK. They have started something new for breakfast, where the cook will fry up fresh eggs for you. The only minor issue is the gal from Mexico City has no idea how to cook a fried egg. My egg was crispy on the outside and completely raw and egg white runny on the inside, because she cooked them at too high of temperature. We first looked at a room at Super 8 across the street, but the rooms at Super 8 were much smaller and smelled of antibacterial cleaner I would definitely return to Red Arrow during my next stay in this area and do recommend it.
