We stayed in one of their cottages. A little out dated, but very comfortable. Was basically like renting a little house. We enjoyed it very much. Quiet and comfortable.

A very good danish experience here. We arrived late but this hotel manage to set the booking and left the keys outside to access our room. Its quiet and really cold the time we went. :) very memorable experience.

Cute little rooms, they're trying to bring up to date. Comfy beds and pillows, also a great welcome package of cookies and coupons. A Free Danish breakfast across the street at a bakery with every stay too.

Very nice quaint hotel. The room was spacious, the staff were helpful, and we got a complementary continental breakfast at the bakery across the street. I would definitely recommend the place.

Close to everything for walking. Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was across the street at a great bakery. You get a pastry, cheese, and coffee or juice. The hotel was great and gave the visiting firemen a reduced rate and made sure to help them first.

Great private room with plenty of space and amenities. Hot tub is a huge plus!

Didn't stay at the Inn, but from the outside, the inn was thematic and in the heart of solvang. The cottages themselves looked fantastic, we hope to check out the solvang in and cottages in the future.

Nice hotel near downtown Solvang. Many restaurants and other businesses are within walking distance. The room is clean. A pack of cookies at check-in is a nice touch.

Was a nice hotel. However, found quite a few bugs in the bathroom and the sleeping area. Nothing serious. The electrical sockets in the room were very loose and some unuseable. It's an old boutique hotel and the staff was very friendly and very helpful. I would stay here again. It's no 5 star hotel but affordable and quiet and walking distance to everything worth seeing.

Quaint little inn with friendly service. The walls seem kinda thin or not well insulated though, as you can hear your neighbors and things going on outside. We were trying to sleep in on a Thursday morning but we were woken up by the gardener running the weed eater and mower right outside our door. Tight parking areas.

Outdoors, the atmosphere was adorable and appropriate for Solvang. However, inside our room, the amenities were lacking. The Shampoo bottle was half full, no toothpaste/brush set, no hotel slippers — the floors were stained and dirty and the bedsheets were questionable. Free Wi-Fi.

Found (Solvang Inn & Cottages) rated 2 star on Google this had me grimacing — — perhaps it was a leftover “Welcome to Hell” Motel 6 memory. At check in a smiling face with (perfectly coiffured hair greeted me) it was then I met Julie Vandecar. Check in was quick and before I could complain I was handed cookies, a pack of postcards offering specials to local city business and a coupon for FREE breakfast at the World Famous “Olsen’s Bakery. ” Try the buckets of cookies. Staying in a cottage by the pool. Private parking is provided for guests at no additional charge. This is a dog friendly place (additional charge applies). SI & C 3.5 to 4 Star class in my book. Very friendly and efficient management and staff. Remodeled room are large and nice. Comfortable place very close to all the cool things to see in Solvang.

The location was very good and near a variety of restaurants and shops. We were upgraded to a better room, and rooms were clean and neat. The TVs had bad reception, but it was not a problem. The continental breakfast provided, a pastry and coffee, very good as well, coming from a great bakery across the street. Reception staff were welcoming. However, we could not use the bike rack, which was an inconvenience.

It was great. I'll pretty easy to pleased bit I thought it was better than most places. The workers were friendly too which is a big deal for me.

My boyfriend and I were traveling through and could not find a place to stay and stumbled on this place. The quality and size of the cottage for the price was amazing. I would definitely stay again.

Great Stay! We had the opportunity to stay in the large family room which was setup very nicely! The room is a bit older, but the ambiance was warm and inviting. The bed was plush and wonderful and the amenities were perfect. I got a change to speak with the front desk attendant, Julie and she was quite friendly and knowledgeable. I found my new hotel when I am in town!

Clean quiet and comfortable room. Nothing fancy, but we dont need anything fancy. We needed a place to sleep.

This is just a 2-star inn and same as their service level.
