Excelent hotel! The room I stayed in was beautiful and most important very clean. As a photographer I often look for a room/hotel with a great view and Sheraton has offered me an amazing one. The view from the lounge is amazing, you can see some of the beautiful landmarks of Salzburg. Breakfast was delicious, Cecilia from the breakfast service was very professional and friendly. The lounge was my favourite part of this stay, I warmly recommend you book a room with the access to the lounge. Even though it is a great bussines hotel it also haves a vibe of a resort in the middle of the city. Defenetly coming back!

My stay at this hotel was so pleasant! Cozy, beautiful, elegant, quiet and very clean hotel! My room was very spacious and very welcoming! The staff was allways smiling and they we're very professional in every interaction I had with them, especially Maryna from the reception ☺️ I enjoyed the breakfast, very tasty and fresh. Loved the sauna and the terrace in the back next to the beautiful Mirabell Garden! Perfect! Another good thing about this hotel is that is not far from the main train station, it's very easy to get to. I'll be back here!

Very good cuisine, very friendly staff, pleasant ambience… gladly again.

The staff tried very hard to accompany our seminar in such a way that I drove home enthusiastically — thank you for the attentive nature of each individual employee!

Had a meal booked in Mirabell but when we arrived we were told it was closed, they could have emailed me. But we had a good meal in the Italian.

Its awesome. You will understand when you experience it.

Upgrade to the most wonderful terrace room on 7th floor. Perfect staff throughout the hotel, perfect location next to Mirabell Gardens.

Staff are welcoming and made me feel like a celebrity upon my visit also nice Italian meal.

Even though there was uncomfortable situation at check-In due to the fact that the staff was not fully aware of T&C and speaking German (in stead of English) by herself (l understand German and that was why it was not comfortable), all others were perfect including the best location, fine room condition, beautiful park outview, tasty champaign breakfast and the fast feed back from MoD.
Overall, I had good stay and recommend the hotel for Salzburg.

I’ve been to Salzburg dozens of times and call it my home away from home. This was my first time at the Sheraton Grand and we loved it! Wonderful staff and rooms (We had a Jr Suite). Just outside of Salzburg’s beautiful Mirabell Gardens it’s a short walk into the old part of town, restaurants and attractions.

I has a wonderful stay at this hotel, The hotel location is good. Service from the staff was amazing! especially from FB team … I really feel comfortable with this hotel.

The unrefurbished rooms are not what you would expect from a hotel in this chain. The bar area is dark and uninviting. The food in the Italian bistro is poor. The hotel only redeemed by the helpful and professional staff.

Excellent, friendly, efficient & very welcoming staff at the reception. The staff create a very welcoming atmosphere in the hotel. The welcome gift & Christmas touches in rooms, on corridors & in the Club Lounge are much appreciated in generating a homely feel to the hotel. Luxury bath products in the rooms. Excellent location beside the Mirabell Gardens & the historic cultural centre as well as within walking distance of the Hauptbahnhof (main train station).

Our stay here was wonderful. The staff went out of their way to help us. Highly recommend this hotel if you are in Salzburg. Having access to the club level was awesome.

Very good Sheraton with real king size bed and if you have access to the club lounge it is a very good one. Room service fast, excellent at a fair price. Improvement possible for treatment of customers with higher tier in Marriott program (reason for 4 star and not 5)

Staff are fabulous! Location is good. But the room, we had was not renovated and needed some detail cleaning (such as spider webs on the ceiling and weird giant hair knot in a towel) … We would not have stayed here if it was not for the convention M has to attend.

First the beer. Now this hotel. Ruined for life on both counts. Or is it spoiled? First class rooms and staff. A job well done deserves commendation and it does not happen enough in the states. So here you go.

The lobby is a bit old but seems of the floors have been nicely rennovated. The sixth floor was nice. The club room was also better than average.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Grand Salzburg. We of course expected to enjoy our stay, but the hotel and staff absolutely exceeded our expectations in every way. Each aspect of our stay (room quality, amenities, food, location) was exactly right — neither over nor underdone. And the efficient air conditioning unit in our room was a welcomed reprieve from the summer heat. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a hotel room in Salzburg.

Style has a name, Sheraton Grand Salzburg. A very nice hotel, where I like to come back. All the jobs, from the reception, to the doorman to the bar: Excellent! The service is very good, but this is also to be expected for the price. Speaking of the bar, it has some rare surprises in drinks. The rooms are clearly large and very comfortable. All in all very clean!

Close, but not too close, to the sometimes very busy Altstadt. Very near the Serene and lovely Mirabell, with gardens and concerts… So there's plenty to do. The hotel is very well-appointed, with generously sized showers and well designed rooms. Note that the breakfast is separate (it's very good, but not included with the standard room rate). Overall, an excellent place that's out of the fray, while still being close to everything you want.

Great hotel, really good service. The lounge on the 7th floor for platinum guests is really good. Rooms are good, well I have only slept in suites at this hotel but they are well equipped and I was more than satisfied every single time I stayed at this hotel.

Very nice hotel in a great location in Salzburg. The rooms have been recently updated and look and feel fantastic. The lobby is still dated and is due for a renovation, however the customer service is excellent.

Food is the same as the category. Seminar room bright and friendly good package, happy to return.

The staff is great, though the facilities/decor is a bit worn. The club room has a nice view and the downstairs terrace that sits on the park is a nice spot to relax. The gym is a bit tight on space (I was doing dumbell excercises between the cardio machines with about 1' of space on the side. Location is just outside the historic center but only a few minutes walk. The breakfast buffet wasn't the best I've seen at a Sheraton, but compares with the same buffets at other hotels (for less money) I've stayed at in Salzburg. The club room evening snacks were underwhelming … def not the best I've seen at a Sheraton. Also the alcohol was well quality (Absolute, Jim Beam, etc) in the club room — would of been nice if there was some decent scotch. But — the staff is great and they made our stay quite pleasant!

Only 5 * Hotel in the city centre, room individual and large enough. Excellent a la carte restaurant with the hotel's customized wine list. Courteous and helpful staff in all departments.

The hotel generally was very good. I stayed in April. Location very good, close to the river and 5 minutes from centre. For breakfast I will give 3.5/5. Bathroom 5.5. Cabinets and storage 4.8/5. Room 4/5. What I did not like; A/C was off during this time. They open in May. So we open windows, beautiful weather in April but noisy.

Excellent hotel except for the elevator service is bad.

Located in a central area, this hotel is comfortable and gives you all kinds of facilities to find you comfortable.

Very elegant, very good food, small problems fixes the really very friendly staff unbureaucratic and fast. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is top!

Modern bath. Ok sleeping accommodation, could use black out shades. Breakfast buffet is pretty good, definitely opt for freshly prepared eggs.

In itself quite OK, however the rooms would have to be modernized, 20 years ago this was perhaps modern but 2018 by no means. Breakfast was not used however the room service that took us 30 mins. Wait for 2 Cesar salads. All the staff were very nice and accommodating, but the other things did not weigh up.

The executive lounge here is great and has a nice view. It's a nice, clean hotel with nice staff. It could use some updating, but I would definitely go back.

Beautiful elegant ambience, the menu promises absolute delight in the palate. The food is wonderfully arranged on the plate and tastefully impeccable. The service is very dedicated, friendly and endeavouring to make the guest. All in all the perfect location for a great gourmet evening with wonderful wine accompaniment. Highly recommended — a dinner with a feel-good character!

I gave 2 stars because I love Sheraton in general. Most stays with Sheraton were awesome. But but but here… In salzburg the housekeeper unlocked the door twice to get in the room without ringing the bell. 9.30am Sunday morning! What did she has to do? Few moments later around 10.00 am something again! Good location but there are other hotels, 4-5 stars nearby too.

A good hotel, very luxurious.

Our fourth stay at the Sheraton Grand Salzburg. The building and staff are amazing, and the location is fantastic; everything you want is within walking distance. And Christmas is Salzburg is magical.

Rooms are definitely dated. I had booked a king bed room but when checking in reception advised they had booked out and needed to have housekeeping rearrange a twin bed room into king. When we arrived at our room it was still a twin bed configuration but then 30mins after settling in, housekeeping lady arrived to push the beds together. Wasnt the best customer experience. Club lounge selection was limited and waiters were not very professional. The head male waiter (in a suit) kept pacing and not very courteous when he was in the way when guests tried to get food. Top location however was a compensating factor and it is very close to the panorama sound of music tour which was fantastic.

The room is old. No cafe facilitated in room. It does not look like 5 stars hotel to me. The receptionist is helpful. Location is nice.

Loved our (short) stay at the Sheraton Grand Salzburg. The front desk staff were amazing and so helpful on our first visit to Salzburg. A great place to stay and convenient to so many places within the city!

Excellent service and well appointed rooms. The executive lounge has a wealth a food and drink, making the upgrade well worth it. Great location! Negatives including being able to hear some foot falls from above and a very hot sleeping bed.

Sheraton Grand in Salzburg is a bit dated in terms of design but oh boy, it is one of the best SPG hotels our there in terms of services. Very accommodating and understanding. I want to give a special shout out to Fabiel (not sure about the spelling), who took my spontaneous crazy request at 3 in the morning seriously and tried his best to accommodate. When he had to leave that morning, he made sure that the staff on the next shift understand my whole situation. Also, the club lounge here is top notch. It is well stocked with foods and drinks. Open from 6:30 in the morning to 10:30 at night. The staffs worked tirelessly to keep the place clean. There is a nice but small eating area outside. One of the best SPG properties out there for sure.

Convenient to central Salzburg, 10 min walk from the central station. Lounge is excellent, full breakfast spread. Suites are very good, bathroom in junior suite was phenomenal. Definitely my favorite in Salzburg.

This was our second stay at the Sheraton Salzburg. We can't wait to return. A perfect location in town, walking distance to everything. The hotel remodel looks fantastic and the hotel staff was excellent at every level. A nice touch and genuinely appreciated, unbeknown to us, the General Mgr, Hermann Fritzenwallner, was part of the team at reception and took the time personally walk us to our room and offer any help during our stay. A very classy touch and appreciated.

Very nice Hotel, it has a beautiful lounge on the top floor which offers a huge assortment of snacks and drinks at any time!

Great hotel, maybe a bit of Antan, large and well arranged rooms, pity that "the old lady" despite many facelifts is not the same as in the past!

Great location, 5 star service to spend two nights in Salzburg fairytale.

Hotel location is fine, room and service is fine, but… foods are bad quality. When breakfast time, the milk was stale (taste was sour), no boil egg served (need to order), variety very limited, fruits was finish quickly and no refill. Please upgrade food quality because people will impress with food as well and not just room.

Typical international Sheraton, though a bit dated. It's part of the charm I suppose. Sheraton amenities need updating, they feel cheap now compared to other less expensive hotel chains. Had a great sleep here, would return!

Hotel is really well located, staff in general very attentive most of the time and in a few occasions went completely out of their way to help us. Rooms are clean but a bit on the small side. They have a garage on the building. Restaurant appears unimpressive but I didn't really try it.

Christmas Eve dinner was very ordinary. Run of the mill hotel buffet with drinks for an extortionate price. Not what I expect from a "five star" hotel.

My room was in the refurbished part of the hotel and was clean, modern and well equipped. The staff on the desks were extremely helpful and very competent. An enjoyable stay and a nice base to explore Salzburg.

The major selling feature of this hotel is the Club room and really great staff. I have stayed at Starwood properties all over the world and this is the best club room I have ever come across. The breakfast is wonderful and the appetizers, beer on tap and service makes this hotel my fist choice in Salzburg. If you are a Starwood Platnium this is the hotel to stay at and will ruin you for all other Sheratons.

Older, but comfortable rooms. Housekeeping staff was wonderful! Restaurants are quite expensive. The location is perfect for a visit to Salzburg. With the train station a few minutes walk traveling to and from Salzburg is very easy.
