Amazing view from sister hotels bar and restaurant staff helpful and breakfasts ok especially when outside.

Best hotel! Good price!

Currently checked into Hotel Imlauer and Bräu Salzburg for the night. Upon checking in at the counter, a courteous staff by the name of Lilla provided us swift and efficient service.
In addition to the basic line of service, Lilla also went the extra mile by offering us a map of the area and also advising us on the ways and methods of traveling to Hallstatt.
What defines a hotel is its class of service, and I am very satisfied with this first hand impression Lilla has provided.

Nice, clean, recently upgraded hotel that is convenient to everything. The staffs are very helpful. We have good time here. We will book this hotel if we come back to Austria.

The room was a good size and on the road but despite being quite busy we weren't kept you at night by cars or train s. It walkable from the station with your wheely bags. It's also walkable to the. Old town where the main attractions are and close to the bus stop for longer trips to the South You don't great views but I'm to head out and see them in a few mins. Would we go back — yes.

Excellent location, lovely staff who are always on hand to help with everything. Comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms. Carpet (whilst clean) needs replacing and general sprucing up of the woodwork throughout would make this place really luxurious but characterful and comfortable base for a stay in Salzburg.

Compared to many other places we visited during our stay in Austria, the service here was amazing. The receptionists were very kind, which we did not expect. Rooms are beautiful — we stayed in a huge triple room which had a clean and antique decor with all the necessities. The hotel is a bit further from the main station than it looks but nevertheless, great location.

We stayed one night in room no. 46 (€81), which was facing the railway. It is a small twin room, but the size was just fine and not too small. The beds were comfortable and the decoration was nice. There was AC and a kettle with tea bags, instant coffee. TV with at least two English speaking channels. There was some sounds from the railway, other rooms and the stairway, but it was calm and quiet during the night. The location is great if you are travelling by rail. I highly recommend staying here.

I have updated my rating after being asked why only 3 stars by the hotel. The hotel was very accomadating to me and my family the family room was plenty large enough for us. The safe worked and the restaurants that we used were friendly and very very tasty. My only problems were no iron in the rooms and they didn't replenish the coffee in the room. The staff were very lovely and we didn't say anything about the coffee or the iron so they couldn't have remedied it I'm sure they would have if we did.

Superlative in every way! Great newly renovated rooms. Crisp linen. Very comfortable. Breakfast at sky restaurant. Very good. Constant complimentary water and fruits on reception. Staff at front desk needs a special mention. All of them were very warm and each time went out of the way to help and undertstand guest needs. Cant praise them enough. We extended a night being so pleased with the place. Buy the salzburg city card they sell. Its worth every penny. Best baby cot. Very highly recommended.

We felt very comfortable in this hotel. Everything very clean and the staff was very helpful and attentive. Only minus point: We had cold days in May and the breakfast room was no longer heated.

Nice hotel. Staff are very accommodating.
Corridors are a bit cold and clairvoyant. Some more water could come out of the shower. But otherwise, everything fits.

The food was outstanding, and service was extremely attentive and enthusiastic. The view was okay, probably better during the day. The restaurant decor was also beautiful. Highly recommend.

— Service, reception staff, beds-/+ breakfast + bathroom service was not very exhilarating — when checking out, I had to insist that breakfast was paid in advance until the receptionist saw it on her computer. Ordered a glut of nonfree breakfast and mentioned it again at the breakfast buffet, but the embers of unfree luggage never popped up. Breakfast quite ok, however coffee from the vending machine and sausage too thick cut for my taste. Room clean However, even in the superior double room, the double bed consisted of two single beds pushed together, which slipped apart in every small movement-for me an absolute no-go. Find the price for the performance not justified.

Room 228 does not go at all! Very small bathroom and the view is miserable. Should not be rented. The breakfast buffet was OK and the staff very nice.

We stayed for 2 nights and thought it was brilliant staff were lovely. The hotel was clean and pristine not far from the town… would definitely recommend staying there… my only issue was that it was very hot in the room but we opened the window and it was fine… if I ever go back to Salzburg I will be staying there again.

An excellent hotel in Salzburg. Very well located with all the comforts of a 3 star and Austrian details!
If I return, I'm sure I'll stay there again!

Clean rooms. We stayed in the superior rooms which was very spacious. Location is great, 5 minutes walking from both the city center and central station. Neighborhood is safe when it is dark.

We just stayed here for a week and it was terrific. Newly renovated clean rooms, decent bathrooms and a great restaurant attached, with very friendly wait staff. It takes 5-7 min to walk to old town and the train station is a couple minutes away — perfect for day trips to Vienna/ski hills/Munich.

Nice place. Good value. Staff was very nice and helpful. I'll stay here again. Two things kept me from getting good rest… trains go by constantly just outside the window, so I hear brakes squealing and general train noise that's very loud (even through the closed windows) so I have to wear ear plugs to relax and sleep. The room is very hot, even with the heat off. When I first arrived it must have been 30 in my room. Thankfully one of the windows opened all the way to help cool it quickly. It was so warm I woke up from being overheated and had to open the window for 15 minutes a few times every night. Again, because of the train noise, I can't just leave it open all night. I also leave it open at the top all day while I'm out to it stays normal 22-23. This is in January when it's below freezing outside. I was in room.

I didn't pay for the hotel but the company.
Family room was simply small and very very dark with fewer lighting facilities. Bathroom small. Breakfast with less variety for the price. Parking €14 in extra season however too high.

Even if it is not a 5 star hotel, the effort of the staff is very great to present themselves as the best house. The rooms are nice and priced in order if you don't choose the main season. Good offer in the gastronomic area.

Nice Hotel, about a 10-minute walk from the centre (from the Getreidegasse, the most famous street that hosts the birthplace of Mozart), close to Mirabell palace, where there are the gardens that give the Hohenfestung and in front of which there is one of the Christmas markets open until 21. Room spacious, clean, with parquet floor and not noisy despite overlooking the main street. Honestly the environment is very comfortable. The breakfast is varied, the additional cost is €14 per person. The hotel has an open parking lot and not secure to the amount of €14 per day. The staff is very courteous and helpful. We also tried the restaurant of the hotel: it is very good. We recommend it.

Hotel quite central, 10 minutes walk from the historic centre. Comfortable, nice environment, rooms spacious and clean. Only drawback: we had booked the double room and we found with 2 beds separated…

Stayed 3 night. Very helpful reception staff. Very good restaurant for evening meals. Breakfast food good but staff no help in finding a table when busy. Quite central only a short walk to central of the old city.

Good hotel with a short walk to downtown. Rooms are fine, not huge but decent. Parking for €14 per day behind the hotel. Staff is nice and helpful.

We had a very nice one-night stay (2 persons, one double bed). Only con: the room was very warm when we arrived with no chance of fast cooling as you can't open the windows fully and it was probably too cold outside for the A/C to do work. But it was fine later on and in the night, keeping the windows open as much as we could. Pros: Absolutely loved the free tea and coffee in the room. The bath tub was very nice to have. The Wi-Fi was excellent, allowing us to stream on twitch without any interruptions.

Convenient, close to the train station and city center and other attractions. Room is spacious. Staffs are helpful. Hotel has a very nice restaurant with good food and pricing.

About a 10 minute walk to downtown, so you are not right in the middle of things but easy enough to get to. Rooms are spacious and clean and they have parking right behind the hotel which is a bit cheaper than nearby locations. On site restaurant is great. Highly recommended for an affordable location in Salzburg.

We had a superior double room and both the room and bathroom was very specious. There was real kick in the AC which was heavenly since it was very warm outside. Wifi worked real good as well. The breakfast was good and they had real coffee which was amazing. The personal was friendly and service minded. It's a good hotel and I can really recommend staying here if AC, Wi-Fi and breakfast coffee is the most important on the check list for a good hotel.

Decent hotel near the Salzburg train station. It's reasonably priced and walking distance to most of what Salzburg has to offer for some staying a short time. Building is a bit tired, however the rooms are remodeled to be usable. Equivalent to any three star in the US.

Friendly staff and clean and spacious rooms including AC. Walking distance to the old historic city centre. Can include breakfast and they have a restaurant. Great Wi-Fi!

Great hotel for a trip to Salzburg! The very friendly and courteous staff will make your stay a long time and leave no wish unfulfilled! I like to come back any time.

The rooms are very clean and the staff very helpful. They helped us book tours and gave great information on the surrounding areas. With easy access to old Town and the train station this is a great place to stay!

Hotel close to the train station. Quiet enough. Nice breakfast and affordable. Close enough to two Mirabell castle. Good service, rooms a little small.

Modest and clean rooms. Walkable while pulling luggage from the train station. About ten minutes walk from old town. Nice restaurant, nice bar located one block away at sister hotel. Very reasonable prices. Overall good deal.

You're going to get a bed and a shower here. My girlfriend booked us for one night on a stop over. My complaint is mainly 3 things. One, it was so noisy inside and outside the hotel. The train tracks keep you awake and the halls are loud when anyone is exiting the elevator. Two, the bed sheets were not comfortable. Three, while checking out the rate that we had been charged when we booked included all taxes and fees clear in writing. When we went to leave they tried to up the charge saying it didn't include those things. It took emailing the on duty manager our booking invoice for them to relent. There are better choices in Salzburg.

Clean, nice hotel, friendly staff, though space is kind of tight. Outdoor breakfast buffet is very good. We enjoyed our stay.

Have ben in that hotel for a few day. The reception is very friendly, room was clean and the service great. Modern room keycards, but the TV was old. The price is a little too high, even without a breakfast.

Ate at this restaurant, was really nice had the Siegl pan. Lovely beer garden great service and a good atmosphere.

The service staff take your time to take orders the guests forever. You constantly passing one without to ask whether you would like to purchase it. (And that on a day where the majority of the tables was vacant). Otherwise the waiters seem very unfriendly.

The price for a Fridatto is with the upper average of €4.10. The drink prices are a real effrontery. €6 for a large Cola arguably speak volumes. So, I spent over € 10 for an appetizer and a drink.

Quick, very friendly Service, great food.

Excellent in every aspect — close to supermarkets, chemists, the train station, 8-10 min walk to the bus tour place and a 10-15 minute walk to the city centre. Great quality breakfast.
