Since we were quite exhausted from the long drive and had to get out early the next morning, unfortunately we did not notice that this bed was teeming with bed bugs. We noticed this only on the day of our Departure.
The white sheet was full of blood stains and crushed bed bugs.
You can't imagine how disgusting that Was.
Of course we complained immediately, but unfortunately the receptionist could not do anything for us, as we had already paid in Advance. She gave us the Manager's email address, but he did not respond to our complaint letter.
At home in austria, the procedure started with the possibly "bed bug versäuchten" luggage… The laundry we packed immediately in bags and put these for mind. 36 hours in the freezer and then we washed them with 60 ° (if the garment is to be read) in the washing machine, because there is a risk that bed bugs could be brought Home.
A week later, we got both red, stronger elevations (similar to Gelsenstiche) all over the body, usually 3 bites next to each other (face, neck, arms, legs, butt, etc. ), which also itched like Hell. After prolonged consideration, we came to the conclusion that this must be the effects of bed bug bites and this was finally confirmed by the Dermatologist.
This then immediately prescribed us a cream (InfectoScab Cream) against ectoparasites, as one should not underestimate a bed bug bite! Meanwhile (3 weeks later) the itching has disappeared and the swelling has already decreased, but if you look closely, you still see the Bites.
We have not received any feedback from Buena Vista Motor Inn and therefore we advise everyone to book this accommodation!
