We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom with a loft that had an additional two twin beds, which was so nice. All bedrooms were upstairs. The unit was spacious, well-kept and clean. Our views were nice. The beds were very comfortable. Sofa made into a bed too. Bay window seats in every room. Three bathrooms, a fireplace (although ours was down for maintenance), washer n dryer, dishwasher, and our own private jacuzzi and bbq on our patio. The coffee pot takes regular round filters, and you need to bring your own coffee supplies. The kitchen amenities included skillets, sauce pans, Dutch oven pan, mixing bowls, Pyrex baking dish, cookie sheet, steak knifes, can opener, toaster, mixer, blender and place settings for 5 people. They did provide us with an extra place setting. There is no AC, but there were several box fans in the closets. Oxnard doesn’t tend to get too hot, except maybe occasional hot days throughout the summer maybe. Beach was literally 3 minutes walking distance and was not busy at all. Close to town and harbor and other beaches in the area. Lots of nice restaurants with outside dining overlooking the ocean or harbor. It was unfortunate that the neighbor decided to trim their trees during our stay, which made for one very noisy day, and an inability for us to use our spa or bbq due to tree limbs that had fallen on the spa and all over our back area. You only get one parking pass, and if you have a second vehicle, they will need to find parking on the street.
Great for families to get away, relax, unwind, and vacation. Channel Island Shores Resort is affordable, beautiful, gorgeous, romantic, and right close to the ocean. Grocery, banks, and shops are right up the road.
