Not really a fan of hotels with "outside corridor" but the price was right. Room was nice, clean and spacious. Desk clerk upgraded to me a room with two beds because my kids were with me and I told him they would be sleeping on the floor. Breakfast was really good, better then most hotel breakfast. Isn't the best area, but hotel was a solid 4 stars… For a Best Western that is.

We had a very nice stay at the Best Western Oxnard Inn during the Labor Day weekend. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The pool and spa area were very nice and the breakfast is always an added plus with plenty of options to choose from. Yes this location is in an older area of Oxnard but only a few minutes from the Harbor and beach areas which was where we spent most of our time.

Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly. Rates were excellent. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Saturday night was sold out and it was still quiet.

A very helpful staff. The facility was attractive and clean; beds were comfortable. This is the first hotel in a long time that a hotel (even the big ones in Las Vegas) has an exhaust fan in the bathroom — much to our delight. Their continental breakfast was convenient and plentiful plus offered a good variety. I would definitely recommend this facility.

So I still need to call corporate and the GM bit I had a bad experience this week. Room looked clean but after a few hours there while sitting on the bed I got bit by something. Killed it and it was full of blood. Found 2 more “bugs” on My pillow and at 1130pm I went to the front desk and checked out. Sorry. Can do bed bugs. Front desk person said they were having an issue with this and that “ people bring them in” found another hotel. Sucks but it is what it is. I have pictures. Can’t post them on this for some reason.

Not a great area, but you'd hardly know it based on the layout of the place. Jacuzzi worked well and the rooms were clean and well kept. The beds seemed not so great at first sit, but slept well. The staff was caring and attentive, and had no issues. Would stay again.

The room was extremely clean and nice. We loved the continental breakfast. They keep it fully stock from 6am — 9am. Staff is super friendly and helpful. We will stay here again for sure.

Wow! What a place to be. Right by the beach. A big pool, happy hour where they serve drinks and some snacks… a place you can relax… away from everything.

Stayed here for a few weeks on business. Breakfast is good, they have pancakes, eggs, yogurt, a few cereal choices, fruit, bacon or sausage, and it's all pretty tasty. Rooms are clean and well kept. No maids took any money or change I left out (that has been a problem with many other hotels) and it has a pool, 2 washers and dryers, as well as a little workout room. The property is completely walled off to so you don't get wandering weirdos lurking by you're room.

I stayed at the Best Western Oxnard inn for work related reasons. I enjoyed there breakfast even though on the weekend it gets busy and food can run out. I liked the small workout room in the middle of the parking lot. Location is kinda far from everything else. But all in all room was nice and clean.

We stayed here over Easter weekend and had a great time. The guy at the reception desk was friendly and nice. The room was extremely clean and there wasn't any noise disturbance at all.

Clean, fairly quiet. If you're going to eat B'fast, don't wait till the last minute.

Nice facilities but short on customer service.

"We'd appreciate it if you left a review of us on Google! " is something pretty gutsy to do after I just left a mediocre survey response but if you insist… I picked this Best Western for the promises of a hot breakfast, and express checkout, and some amenities that I could enjoy. While the exterior was nice and the rooms weren't terrible, I never got the invoice I was promised, the breakfast left a lot to be desired, and the location seemed to be a popular route with emergency vehicles. This wouldn't be so bad if the room was less expensive, but I expected more than what I got for the cost. Not the worst experience I've ever had but there's other options I'd consider before returning.

Clean room, wonderfully landscaped grounds, quiet, room was good sized. Not in the best area, but motel is nice. We had our dog, all dog rooms have no carpeting.

I was called and threatened with a 500 cleaning charge because I had a service dog and told that they have special rooms for pets ($40/night charge for pets). I do not wish to be discriminated against and put in a special room nor given a warning. The front desk should have asked first if I had a service dog not told me there would be a charge. After I explained that they can not charge me for a service dog they did not charge me but did say I have to report when I have a service dog. I didn't report it at check in because I didn't want a "special" room!

Clean rooms with a refrigerator and microwave. A large parking lot with free parking. Free full hot breakfast. The property has a pool, hot tub, and a weight room. All staff interactions were pleasant. Great place to stay and a good value.

Brutal service — Lying Staff — Booked a Suit 6 months in advance. Booking was very clear with room details and pictures of the room. Arrive to check-in and I am told that the suit that I had reserved is not available. Was given the runaround my multiple staff including multiple lies. Manager never did get back to me in any way to address the issue. Hotel management refused to offer any restitution through the company I booked with. Avoid this hotel at all costs…

Very comfortable Hotel, has pool, very large rooms excellent service.

My stay at this location has been great and the staff is wonderful. I forgot my toothbrush, and after calling the front desk, they quickly brought me one. I also used the business center for some work. The gentleman in the office/lobby was also very helpful and assisted me in whatever I needed. This is not my first stay here, and it definitely won't be my last.

I love this little oasis. It's clean, has handy and convenient amenities, and friendly, accommodating staff (thank you for your caring assistance Ryan… who was working on 10Sep). Looking forward to my next trip to the area.

We stayed at the Oxnard Best Western to break up a trip from Santa Cruz to San Diego. We were tired and did not want to drive through LA during rush hour or at night. We had stayed at this particular hotel a couple of years ago for the same reason. The bed was comfortable and the continental breakfast always makes it easier to get back out on the road. Plus we had a small dog with us and we needed a pet friendly hotel. I lived in Oxnard while working at the state hospital (now university) in 1967-1969, so I am partial to the area, that of course has changed considerably. Oxnard also has a Costco, so we could top up our gas tank. On this trip we also decided to take Highway 1 down to Santa Monica for a slower but pleasant view of the ocean which is so relaxing.

Rooms clean and have a contemporary style. Plenty of amenities. Microwave and mini fridge were a plus. Close to cheap gas and good food is not far. Friendly staff. Pool and spa are nice (but could be warmer). Beds are ridiculously comfortable.

Nice looking complex! Clean grounds, clean dog friendly potty area, clean smoking area, gym and pool. Friendly staff! Rooms, carpeting was sticky (probably from cleaner build up) and the hand soap dish was gross like it hadnt been wiped out; over all room was clean, not bad but not great! Good for a quick trip were you just need a place to sleep.

Rooms are nice and clean. AC, fridge, micro, and all the essentials. Plus has a small gym with 3 pieces of gym equipment. Pool and jacuzzi. Laundry room. Staff was very friendly. Continental breakfast. Small spread. The grounds are clean and kept. Not much in the area unless your here for an event.

Nice hotel. Clean, nice rooms, pool definitely doesn't feel heated (too cold), breakfast was good. So other than the pool we were very pleased.

Has always been a nice place to stay. Right now lots of remodeling going on an usual good warm breakfast not available. If I had known would have selected other until remodel done as rate included but eas not discounted. Also, if lite sleeper do not pick first floor room. Upper floor footsteps very loud at times. I will only stay on second floor from now on.

We have stayed at many hotel's let me tell you just because you pay 300 or 400 does not mean better. Having said that we had a great stay very easy check in and out nice and clean and quite. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying here again. Also doesn't hurt cvs is across the street either.

It's a great hotel. The rooms are nice, especially when you get one with a kitchenette. The continental breakfast is good too.

I didn't know what to expect after reading reviews on this motel in a supposedly "bad" area. I've stayed in many Marriotts, Hiltons, and more and my room here is as good as any of them. When I travel the room is important as that's home base. I need a decent shower, the usual room amenities, and it's got to be clean. And that's what I got. The staff was friendly and helpful with a couple requests (extra coffee, directions etc) and that's all I want. I've left hotels/motels before checking in and after, and this one is just fine. If you need a room in this area you'll be just fine here. April 17/16 with two days to go!

I was in the suite. It was very clean. The blackout curtains could not close, so there was light and some noise at night. Otherwise, very pleasant experience.

I tried to make reservations for the same night I was traveling through. I called in and reservations could not help me and asked me to call the front desk. I called in and got the front desk. When they answered I told them I wanted to book 3 rooms for the night and they asked me to hold. That was fine but I held for 12 minutes. When the phone finally rang through again I heard the attendant pick up the phone and then hung up. It was obvious it was not a disconnect or accident. Evidently they do not want my business. I called La Quinta a couple miles up the road and made my reservation.

Best western hotel are by far some of the cleanest and the service is great.

I travel a lot due to my job, and I honesty can say this is by far the best hotel I've stayed in. Room service is amazingly on point, bed is comfy, cable, Wi-Fi, and for the length of time I stayed, I had no issues. At first I thought that it was going to be a mediocre hotel, but it exceeded my expectations deserving 5 stars. If I were to visit Ventura county again, I would definitely stay here again.

Nice employees. Clean room. Clean reception area with adequate breakfast. It's in a busy neighborhood, but the way the place is situated, the noise does not carry to the rooms. It's not where you would go for a luxury vacation, but if you want to enjoy nearby beaches, it's close enough to be at the beach in fifteen minutes. Very good hotel for the price.

There is roaches there and they denied me breakfast cause they said I look homeless.

I generally don't use Best Western but this one in Oxnard was the cheapest I found. We arrived late and was very surprised at the facility when we pulled in. The staff at check in and check out were very friendly and helpful. We located our room and walked in and said WOW! The room was spacious and clean and the bed was like being at home. My wife and I got a good nights sleep as the bed and pillows were very comfortable and the location was surprisingly quiet. We looked around the outside that night and the next morning and it was like a little villa. This was a beautiful hotel, quiet, with lots of amenities. My brother said it was in a bad area but we felt very safe. I highly recommend anyone staying in Oxnard to check out this hotel. It was the best hotel we've stayed at over our years of travel.

Between the Jacuzzi, breakfast, gym, tv, and pool I never wanted to leave.

What a great place to stay. The staff is very profissional, like Pam and Noon at the front desk are very helpfull, Fermamdo the maintance eng. Is very polite and remembers my name every time, Ana the head housekeeper is always making sure our room is cleaned when we need. Over all I would recommend this place for anyone who is staying in the oxnard area! P. S. Zaira, what a cutie.

Best of the Best Western hotels we stayed at on this trip. The bed was dreamy. Great mattress.

I was able to get to get this hotel down below $85 a night (including tax) with a decent room upgrade (sofa, larger room, small kitchenette) thanks to an online service, which is pretty good for this area. It is in a dismal area of town. The harbor is about 10-20 minutes away. But the hotel itself was just fine and was actually quiet. Parking in the hotel lot is decent, but the spots will be tight if you're driving something larger than a normal car. I couldn't afford anything decent by the beach or up in Santa Barbara, where were visiting, so this was the next best thing, and I actually had a pleasant time.
