Beds were wonderful and location couldn't be beat. The free parking is tight, but I was grateful for it. Never tried the breakfast, maybe next time.

The parking lot is tight, but very appreciated. The rooms and beds are very nice. I recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed here 3 years in a row when we come to L. A. Area. A third party booking company had made a serious pricing error but the on site hotel management bend over backwards to make it all good. We find the price very reasonable the quality very good, the staff very helpful and kind, and the location the best distance to and yet away from the Hollywood Blvd. We will be back for 4 or 5 more days next year!

This is our second time around staying a week here. We stayed a week around the same exact time last yr. Both times we made no reservations, although, they did end up filling up fast, so I recommend reservations. They are in the process of updating the rooms. The room we stayed in was very nice. Walk in glass showers, decent size room with 2 open windows for a nice view of everything. The room we were in had nice "fake" wood floors. No carpet in the room we had which was an absolute PLUS. No walking on dirty, dingy, carpet. The clerks/owners and maids were all very accommodating and very friendly staff. Every other place around here wants 200 bucks and up a night. We stayed a week here for less than what some pay for 3 nights down the street. All in all, it's a great place to stay. We were barely in the room the whole time anyway. Good place just to sleep while touring the city/boardwalks/Boulevards all day. I'd stay again.

It's a simple hotel. But x the price paid compared to the prices in the area is fine. He's got parking. An elementary breakfast and comfortable and clean rooms. The location is 25 blocks from the Walk of Fame.

Don't get me wrong, this isn't your typical "5 star" hotel. However, it's about the best you're going to get for what it is. My wife and I stayed there for a week during our honeymoon :)

A little bit overlooked but very clean Hotel. The staff were nice and helpful. The location is very close to the red line. Breakfast For those who move with the means is OK. Refrain who is looking for embroidered slippers and bathrobes. The area in appearance is quiet but busy. Unpretentious.

Mediocre at best. Customer good. Building apparently needs a lot of attention. Updates and maintenance are past due. Mattress not really comfortable.

Cheap hotel in a very convenient location. Room was clean, checked in with no issues and no reservation after the original hotel we booked tried to scam our credit card and claim they didn't charge it even though charges were clearly on the card. Found this Super 8 in two minutes on Google maps and had a quick replacement room in less than ten minutes. Sign said they'd hold a deposit but no deposit was held on my card, only the rate for the night.

We choose this motel due to it being close to the Hollywood landmarks as well as the RedLine metro station for getting to Universal Studios. The motel is undergoing some sort of renovation and I wish the corporate site has mentioned it. Noise, dust and excessive door opening/closing were the norm. The parking lot was also an issue. If everyone had parked correctly in the already-tight spaces it would've been passable, however several"whopper-jawed" cars resulted in beyond cramped parking and two dings on our rental car. Price was cheap for location but next time we'll go a bit higher to avoid the discomforts.

The hotel is decently priced and located within 10 minutes of the Walk of Fame and Universal Studios. However, the location is very much urban with lots of street noise and an unsafe atmosphere at night. The stairs and elevator leave something to be desired, squeaking banging and moving unexpectedly. BUT the bed was comfortable, the Wi-Fi fast (once you figure it out), the shower was brand new, the air conditioner great, the TV had plenty of channels, and the breakfast was good. Overall was an OK hotel. Checks all the boxes but I wasn't super thrilled about it.

First thing my wife and I noticed was the ridiculously small parking lot, we go in elevator reeks of weed. Go to our room, damn room reeks of piss. Like strong smell of piss from the restroom, and there were stains on the bed, which by the way is the hardest most uncomfortable thing I've ever slept on in my life. I've slept on floors more comfortable. You can hear through the walls and contruction crews start working in the hallway stupid early. We will never go again.

Hotel very well located, 20 min walk from the Hall of Fame, the room with everything you need, would be good a time to time, the daily toilet service good, offer basic breakfast, could include fruits.
The hotel on the first floor has a bar, although we didn't feel so much the noise if you heard enough.

Good location, excellent service and comfortable rooms.

This place is an absolute nightmare. We booked 2 rooms, in one room the toilet was clogged. Instead of coming up to fix it they offered me a plunger to do it myself, also you can hear what the other people are doing on the adjacent rooms, and there's a night club next to it that keeps you awake at all times of the night, and to top it off construction workers started to work at 7a. M. Across from my room, we got out as soon as we could. Just a bad experience overall.

Good place for one night if very tired. Next door to a club so be ready to see that type of scene. Smoke throughout hallways even though rooms are marked as smoke free. Some what outdated room. Could use a good clean up on everything.

While the hotel is located near West Hollywood, the area is not the best. The hotel is also very good. As for breakfast the same is not bad, but the place is small and they do not repose unless one asks. Parking is next door but no internal connection.

Visited Hollywood for a weekend getaway. This was one of few places with occupancy. The hallways we're relatively narrow, but they did offer morning breakfast as a compliment. The room was $120/night, pricy but I paid it.

It wasn't horrible but I don't think I'd choose this place again. The room was a bit outdated for one night the bed was okay but if you're planning to stay multiple nights the beds won't do. Rooms appeared clean, but almost in that cynical way. Bathroom was clean and we had no issues with the shower. It is right next to a club and it does get really loud. If you're exhausted and can sleep through that no worries. If you're a light sleeper it'll be an issue.

Nice clean room and bathroom. Good free Wi-Fi. Good tv. Nice to have a mini-fridge.

It was good, it has breakfast, internet, and good service. My only disgust was that there is no piscino.

Well located, close to the Holiwood area, subway station one block, very simple hotel, for what you need, continental breakfast.

Overpriced, noisy due to bar built under the hotel and busy street. Had to walk up 4 flights of stairs due to elevator not working. Hasn't been painted in a long time and when I went to open the door to leave my room, I took the whole frame off the wall. Took a while to find a working wall outlet. Had to walk past a sleeping homeless man to get in the hotel. Was happy to only be there for 1 night. Did have basic free breakfast.

Everything that can be expected when at the price in a big city. Tiptop.

For the price all right. Room was clean, the bathroom a bit older.

Hotel room is decent. The area is ghetto/dirty. I was shocked when I first arrived there. But it is close to metro. One of the employees is sketchy and tried overcharging me for whatever reason… I think it's overpriced but you do get a mini fridge and TV (i don't watch tv).

Large room, comfortable beds, beautiful view, clean bathroom, and parking. I would have rated it a 5 but the bar next door stays open til 2 on a Sunday night.

We stayed in this hotel about a year ago. My daughter and I experienced paranormal activity here. I felt it and my daughter saw it. I believe the Room # was 315 right when the elevator door opens the room is across. It was the most scariest thing I've ever felt. I stayed because I didn't want to freak my family out. But I just couldn't wait for morning to get the hell out! I check once an awhile to see if anyone has posted something similar to my account, in this creepy hotel.

Super 8 Staff at this location is exceptional in comparison to people working at surrounding motels. In that they seem to make efforts to making life easier rather than harder. Rooms clean could use a renovation to modernize though amenities such as Wi-Fi and a flat panel TV are provided. I didn't check whether it'll be easy to hook up a USB or HDMI to TV without difficulty I forgot to check if there was refrigerator so next time.

Nice hotel has everything you need close to public transport, close to Hollywood walk of fame, universal studios, and downtown. Staff is friendly hotel is clean the rooms are neat, close to shops. Love the breakfast that is provided overall not a bad place to stay.

The best hotel on the east side of Hollywood. Hats off to the maids for keeping the rooms clean and well maintained. Cutomer service is top of the line especially the young man named Areef who works the counter. This gentleman needs a raise.

The rooms are adequate, but the front desk staff needs to loosen up. They are so uptight & frigid you'd think that they were part of the North Pole symphony.

I visited a friend who was staying here from out of town. Parking was easy (I have a small car) and available. Rooms seemed clean. Front desk was very friendly. Convenient location. I would recommend hotel to others.

Pretty sure any review above 3 stars is a paid for service review. Mildew everywhere in the bathroom, and I had to go roach hunting. Paint peeling. Walls scraped up with drywall destruction on every corner of the facility. Sheets seemed clean but slept clothed as a precaution. Stairwell is a frighteningly state of disrepair — steps squeak with a disconcerting concrete on rebar. Coffee maker was fully of stale stagnant moldy water. The only thing I can say no the positive side was the wireless works well enough, and the price is right if you aren't up to spending $500/night at the W.

This place is terrible. Seriously needs to be bulldozed. I often wonder if people who write bad reviews had a bee in their bonnet but in this case just trust me. Every room smells like smoke, it's dirty, dark. Nice people but that's not the main reason why you book a hotel. You need a nice room.

It was a lovely place to just put your head down for the night. We had 3 in our party and we got 2 queen beds they where comfy clean and got a great sleep. We did need a non smoking and I checked in as a smoking front desk was happy to change us to a non smoking in the morning but we said it was fine. Front desk very friendly breakfast was awesome it was simple but plenty for everyone, maybe some fresh fruit for another choice but otherwise better than eating take out food. The location is amazing clean safe area we didn't feel unsafe walking down to the corner shop to pick up some snacks. We stayed 3 nights and would recommend this place to anyone we would be back if we visit LA in the future, affordable clean and we did not get bitten at all by bed bugs, it is too bad this happened to other guest we did not experience this. Keeping in mind it is a cheaper accomodation style hotel and yes you do get what you pay for this hotel does deserve a 5 star review from us.

A Gem! what a beautiful little diamond! we stayed for 1 night, and I wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy more of this hotel. Robert in the reception area is exceptionally great with customer service. The rooms are clean, the beds are so comfortable, and I love this place, it will def be on my list for my next trip to Hollywood bowl.

Convenient to nearby stores and in the hade of hollywood by a train station.

This place is a dump. We came with a group and between us rented 6 rooms. Several of the rooms had water damage and the ceiling was peeling from it. The rooms smelled of mildew and the elevator reeked of marijuana. There is not enough parking so we had to park several blocks away and walk. The handicap parking is a joke. When I inquired about no spaces, the desk clerk told me to just park in the handicap spaces. We had a member of our party that needed those spaces but they were filled by other cars parked illegally because the clerk behind the desk said it was ok to park there. Not ok. Not enough towels in the bathrooms. Opened the fridge in one room and a cockroach crawled out. Slept in full clothes and still woke up itching. Front desk was very nice upon checkin, but after his shift it went downhill. The list goes on and on. This place is bad news, STAY AWAY!

It is very old and run down hotel. I am sure that they don't change the bed sheets. I end up with few bug bites. Stay away from this place specially if you are going there with kids. Slow motion front desk.

We arrived here after 24 hours of travelling. It was 1am. The clerk behind the counter clocked us, but didn't acknowledge us, instead finishing whatever he was doing. He eventually opened the window, and silently and slowly checked us in (the whole process took over 20 minutes). He barely said one word. The elevator was slow. The stairs were dangerous. They were concrete and squeeled and shook with each step. The corridors reeked of tobacco smoke and disinfectant. So did our room. It was so disgusting that we had to change rooms in the morning. Luckily there was someone else behind the counter this time and he was helpful and friendly, changing our room free of charge. The free breakfast was very basic but not too bad, and the location is good if you're wanting a cheap place near Hollywood. Other than that, not much to like.

The room? Divine. I loved the decoration, fixtures were well-working, the bedding clean, the hallways clear and quiet. I don't know what people are crying about, I love this place, and don't mind extending my stay. Real shit. Favorite touch? Chinese Theatre as a headboard. That was legit, lol! I personally highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for upper affordable.

The room is very clean, except has a crack on the ceiling. Very nice. If you don't to want to spend over $115 for a hotel, Super 8 motel is best place here in L. A.

Front desk staff was very nice The hotel is old and rundown but if you're desperate at 1130 at night and need to book a hotel, not many choices under 130.00. Best to make the drive and go somewhere away from hollywood.

NiCe. Clean sheets, no bugs. Wished the rooms were abit more spacious, but it was nice. View could've been better, but I did like it. Even the cable made stay better, and near so many good eating spots.

Low budget but worth staying here. Location is great with free parking. Area is a lower rent neighborhood, not Beverly Hills, but you get a great rate and breakfast. No fruit, just toast, toaster waffles, cereal, coffee and juice. Room smelled strongly of disinfectant when we arrived. I opened the window (only opens a few inches), turned on the A/C and bathroom fan, then left for a few hours. It was bearable when we returned and fine after that. Elevator is a bit old and iffy, but works, although it was down for maintenance, briefly (a good thing, I think). There is a Ross department store on Hollywood and Western, a Walgreens on Sunset and Western, the 101 (Universal Studios) exit is so close; we were at Universal in ten minutes. Not fancy, it's a great budget option.

It is a clean place. A quiet area. The parking is very fair, I was afraid of return and not find a place to park.
Is pretty far from the beach (20 km) but if they drive and you can go the traffic. Okay walking.
Wi-Fi is misconfigured, so it works pretty badly, is suitable if you are traveling to the USA travel with an unlocked phone and buy a T-Mobile sim, for 50 dollars you have free internet and phone plan. 80 without speed limit.
This shower pretty good hotel. The TVs are tube but great. The rooms have refrigerator which is also very good.
The price is not cheap for a hotel/motel 2 * but appears it to be much more expensive.
