Plenty of rooms, and they gave us, no view, no balcony.

We went there for our anniversary Maria made sure we were all set up in our room it was beautiful with flowers and hearts she is a very good concierge friendly and willing to help in anyway she can.

Bed very contable, bathroom very clean y love the balcony view to the beach.

Great place when coming for business or pleasure with the family. Great location across from a walk/bike path and many different restaurants. Close to parks for kids and the rooms are spacious enough for those toddler beds. I love the hotel bar with great service and food.

My Mother and I just had an Awesome experience at this beautiful property! The hotel is located ideally close to the Pier as well as the Harbor. We found it to be very nicely decorated for Christmas and all the public areas were kept quite clean! The breakfast was superb! The entire staff was EXTREMELY friendly! EVERY employee that we came in contact with over our 5 day stay would greet us with a friendly smile! The employees are the reason that this hotel is considered a 5-Star establishment in my book! This place ROCKS! Thank You for a wonderful, wonderful stay!

Everything was great except the elevator and stairs situation. Only one elevator area and it was so far to walk to our room. We were on the third floor and we couldn’t use stairs because it was locked on the first floor.

Great hotel right across the street from the Redondo Beach Marina. Recently updated, the hotel is very clean and bright. Rooms are large with most having a decent view, but patios are a bit small. Decent gym, plenty of meeting space and a nice restaurant and bar. Nice outdoor pool with a large patio to hold ocean view events. Hotel is walking distance to lots of options including Pacific Coast Highway.

I stay at Crowne Plaza Hotels whenever available where I travel. Why? You know whet your going to get. Clean, comfortable bed. Clean, well appointed bathroom. Clean and comfortable desk and workstation, screech! Desk Chair you cannot get any comfort in. It has no arms and feels like a park bench. I travel to fun cities to enjoy and relax but, I still have to work! Never again in this Motel 6 chair. Turn the light off!

Very clean, nice size room. There is a safe, coffee machine, and fridge for your convenience as well. The patio allows for a relaxing time outside that comes with 2 chairs and table. Within walking distance to the beach yet there is an onsite pool.

I returned for the second time to Los Angeles fascinated by this city. And I booked again in the sea area at the Crowne plaza redondo beach. I've never done that before. Already the first time we had problems with the Chamber and now the same mistake has been repeated. We. Booked for two people and gave us a room with 1 bed… they're also not awake at the front desk at all. Disorganized at the highest level. Disaster.

I loved it here. Our first stay and to say overall it was a wonderful fun expirence the front staff was wonderful. Everyone we encountered was great. The only thing I would say was wrong was that in reservations instead of saying you have a beautiful ocean view. On the 5th floor they shound say you know what your on the 5th floor and you will see the rooftop and the cars checking into the lobby and then you will get a glimpse of the ocean. Lets be real and honest. I was upset with that part. And the lighting in the bathroom was so dim. I could hardly see in there. I don’t if that is because you want a nice ambience in there Zen feeling but it was dark in there. I was going to complain. But I was like they cant have someone put a brighter light in bathroom can they. But at over 300.00 a night I would of expected it to be brighter. They Ayers hotel I know not the same at all. But their bathroom lights are bright. Nothing compares to The Plaza hotel but I am a shiwer person, etc like to get ready in the bathroom but it was hard to see in there when doing my hair make up etc.

We were not assisted in or out of this hotel with our bags. For the price per night I feel this is the least we could expect! The hotel does not provide more than bar food as a dinning option & it is the middle of no-where in terms of restaurants bars etc. I would not recommend nor would I stay again. The service we got was appalling!

Beautiful hotel located right next to the ocean. Beautiful loby, rooms, and swimming area, and the customer service is outstanding. The only downside however is that parking is an additional $20 a night. Other than that, it's a pretty amazing hotel.

Nice lobby with updated decor. Rooms are well kept and roomy. No free guest parking so you will need to pay and park in the parking structure or bring change for the street meters. Location is close to Cheesecake Factory, Bluewater Grill, and Chart House. Nice marina views and walking distance to whole foods and eateries.

South Bay Hotel in a great location — close to LAX, but without the airplane noise! Favorite IHG property close to the West Coast office — with spacious and comfortable rooms. Not your typical Crowne Plaza and within easy walking distance to bars, restaurants, the beach… Parking is expensive (free for bikes) and we recommend rooms facing the pool or marina. Walking distance to Whole Foods, too!

Excellent hotel. Accommodations are extremely clean and comfortable, and the location is great. Fantastic ocean views from a lot of rooms. Nice restaurant and bar downstairs.

Really good hotel. Great room with balcony to enjoy the sun and fresh air — clean, comfy and plenty of facilities. Walking distance to Redondo Pier, where there's plenty of nice local eateries and gift shops. The hotel is also right next to the bus stop for buses to downtown LA and LAX (1.5 h away from MOCA)

How nice and good localicion. It's clean and the people are super nice. I didn't eat at the hotel but there are enough restaurants all over the area.

Hotel has an amazing view. Staff was excellent. The hotel just nickel and dimes you. $26 a day for parking. $50 a day for incidentals. Breakfast is roughly $30 a person for the buffet. Room service has a delivery fee, taxes, tip, etc. Don't get me wrong it's a beautiful facility but you are going to be paying for the beautiful view every time you turn around.

Very nice hotel close by the beach. Rooms are huge and quiet Bed is comfortable. Staff were friendly and nice. The only downside is have to pay$26 for nightly parking, but I guess that is standard hotel parking rate for Los Angeles area. Would recommend for anyone.

The location of this hotel near the pier is great. The hotel facility is very nice. We were a little disappointed in their definition of “Full ocean view” (see pic). We have had far better ocean views without paying extra for it. If you like to walk or ride bicycle this is a great place to stay. Breakfast was very good quality for a buffet. Other than room placement for a Spire member who had more than 50 nights stay last year the staff was great. The Wi-Fi in my street front room was spotty at best. We could connect but getting any data to pass was futile. If you are looking for a quick exit this is not the place to stay. It is at least 15 and more likely 20 minutes from the nearest freeway.

Clean and nicely appointed hotel. Service was great, they will valet for a price or you can self park in the garage next door. There was always plenty of parking there so there's no worries either way. The bar in the lobby always seemed vibrant and the rooms were basically what you expect from a nice modern hotel. It is also located in a good area with access to a boardwalk and restaurants that you can walk to or only a short ride to other attractions.

I'm a country mouse. But this is a nice place to hang your hat while your in the Los Angeles area. It's quiet and scenic. Walk over to the little warf for breakfast across the street.

Very clean, rooms are with perfect size. Staff are too friendly and trust worthy, as after checking out I found out I forgot my passport in the safety box. Called them up and they acted immediately and keep it for me until I came back as I requested. Location is nice.

Nicely updated hotel in a gorgeous location. Nice big lobby. We really enjoyed the pool. Rooms here are bigger than most hotel rooms.

I have had the sincere pleasure to stay here on two occasions. This is an outstanding hotel and staff, facilities and walking distance to restaurants. The pier views are absolutely amazing! I highly recommend Crowne Plaza Redondo Beach!

Very nice hotel. Knowledgeable and polite people throughout. Elegant lobby area. The restaurant food was very good quality and the service was professional. Large meeting rooms kept clean. My only complaint is that maybe the parking area could be brighter. I stayed during the off season so prices were low.

Room was great and had a marina view! The main lobby bar was nice and all of the staff were very friendly. Nice location near many restaurants as well.

Always stay here when I visit the LA area. Great location within walking distance to beaches, shopping, and dining. On site restaurants and bar are fantastic. Staff has always been friendly and professional from the front desk staff, to house keeping, to the wait staff and bar tenders!

Great location. The common areas of the hotel are very good spaces to work or no wind down. Love the central location of the bar. Rooms are nice but need a little updating. The bike rentals onsite is a really nice feature.

Honestly, yes hotel rooms and hotel are really nice, I was highly disappointed in the view from our room considering I paid more for marina view and get a roof…
Also, I was very disappointed that they don't have continental breakfast. They do have a restaurant but I'm not spending $30 a person. They also are not very considerate when you call for questions.

Only real complaint is no complimentary parking for the price you're already paying to stay here. They jack you $26 a day for parking which I find a little redicilious in a town that requires driving basically anywhere you want to go. No free breakfast either which is disappointing, but other than that, the rooms are nice and the hotel itself is lovely.

Attended a seminar here. The hotel was beautiful and super close to the water. I would stay here if I had a reason to. The ballroom was comfortable and the staff seemed attentive to the needs of the people running the seminar.

We had a king bed room on the club level during our visit and the view was great! We even got a call from front desk the next day to ask how our stay. Phenomenal service!

The hotel and the rooms were all very beautiful. The pool area was lacking I feel like they could do so much more with it. Overall it was a wonderful stay and I would stay there again.

Just stayed overnight, the view was great, the room was comfortable and the pillows were devine!
The breakfast was good… The only complaint I really had was the sliding glass door was so grimy from past guests… lots of little greasy hand prints… and the balcony was dirty with crumbled up food… It didn't ruin our stay, I just wished there had been a bit more attention paid in cleaning that area of the room…

Hotel located in quiet location, convenient to the main attractions of Los Angeles. Used quadruple room, spacious and clean. Very good breakfast buffet.

The hotel was very pretty and clean. Beautiful lobby area and great rooms. The staff is truly superior and sets them apart from other hotels. Parking is on the high side but overall absolutely going back.

Nice hotel in a great location. Right across the street from the Redondo Marina. Walking distance to the pier, bars and restaurants. Great place for weddings or out of town vacationers. The hotel has a nice lounge bar area near the lobby. Rooms are clean and up to date. One of the few in the area I would recommend.

All worked well at this hotel. Staff were professional and helpful. Breakfast buffet was under pressure at times and short on hot food. Only bar bistro offerings for dinner, but a wide selection of other restaurants within walking distance on the pier and harbour side.

Location is perfect. Plenty of beach fun and activities nearby. Hotel did a remodel a little while ago so looks clean and new. Gym is above average for a hotel.

I have to say… I agree with one of the other people who left comments. The description of my view when I booked through expedia was " overlooking the harbor". In truth the room on the fifth floor was overlooking the roof of the reception and a partial view of the harbor. To be honest I think they would be better being honest and denoting "partial view of the harbor". People like to get what they pay for and not a version of the truth. Overall the hotel and staff were very nice.

Very nice hotel right across the street from the Redondo Beach marina. Mostly up to date with great amenities. Very clean with large rooms, only bummer is the walls seem to be thin. Nice gym, pool and bar/restaurant. Staff is very helpful.

Just returned from a week long vacation. The hotel is very nice, clean, and staff were very friendly. The location is great, we couldn't ask for anything more central. What we did not enjoy was that we were there for our honeymoon and all we got was 1 free drink each, that was limited to beer or wine. At least a complimentary breakfast in bed would have been nice. Also, parking was crazy expensive. I realize that parking wouldn't be free, but $26 a day is outrageous.

The hotel and surrounding areas area absolutely stunning! The bed and comforter provided the best sleep I have had in years if I could I would of taken it home with me. Pool area was nice but seemed like it had more flare on the pictures. Worth it for a great deal not sure about the standard 300+ rates though.

This Crowne Plaza location is right across the street from the marina and a pier full of shops and restaurants. The hotel is clean and the staff are pretty friendly. The rooms are modernly decorated and look nice but the view is amazing! We love it!

Crowne Plaza is a very good hotel. It isn't far from the pier (barely a mile) and has great food across the street. Staff are extremely patient and helpful. Rooms are nice amd bed is super comfortable.

Located near the waters, food and service was excellent. We had a breakfast buffet type breakfast for an event we were attending. It had been newly renovated since the Kat time I came and it looks great!

Doing some remodeling so a few things are out of place at the moment. I have stayed here about 6mo prior and this is a needed face lift. Staf is very friendly and rooms are clean. Did I mention the location.

Got the hotel thru hotwire, and this is our second time staying at this hotel. The rooms are clean and the king room is big enough to comfortably fit two people, I enjoyed my stay last time and I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy my stay this time as well!

Engaging staff didn't hesitate to meet my needs. Much appreciation for my experience of the cleanliness and full availability of amenities not to mention a short walk from Whole Foods. I will gladly visit Crown Plaza Redondo Beach again, if not for the stunning ocean view, for the above mentioned.

Held our company holiday party at the Crowne Plaza. Flexible facility with good layout, across the street from the ocean. Good food for large catered event.

The rooms are in excellent condition after being remodeled recently. The staff is very professional. As well as respectful the needs of their guests. My family frequently stays at the CP when they visit me in Redondo. Been using them for 6 + years! I cannot rembr any major issue in that time.

Location was close by the beach and had a pretty scenic view. There's a lot of other hotels nearby. The view from my room was the pier, which was a nice plus. The hotel has some weird guest. First question someone from the lobby ask my group was if we spoke English, then rambles off that the group next to us didn't speak English and didn't have any ladies with them. The hotel rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful Not a fan of the parking garage, $24 a night, small parking spaces and signs in the parking garage was not the helpful.

Very nice hotel with a nice bar and Bistro in the lobby. We only stayed for a night, but it was pleasant. The room is spacious, clean and nice in general. Big bathroom with tub. The bed was comfy and the pillows too. Try to get a marina view, it's worth waking up to the view of the water.

Location is walking distance to the beach. There are tons of restaurants, a pharmacy, grocery store, etc around. Rooms are clean and the staff always says hi. You can rent bikes there and ride the Strand. I think all the rooms have balconies and if you can get a view of the ocean, it's absolutely beautiful.

Great location in a beach town. A street over from the beach itself which is beautiful. The staff were super friendly and the hotel itself was very nice and clean. Our room decoration was more elegant than expected and upgraded. We would love to stay here again.

My girlfriend got us this room on hotwire last minute since had to drop her off at the airport early, like 4am, CP looks all fancy et al, yet when I lay to bed I started coughing, I realized the sheets, comforters and pillows aren't washed, or cleaned; it had dusts and, or something else, like they previous occupants' perhaps? I think that perhaps the maid thought that the bed looked unused meant it wasn't used? Or tvat slight used meant she/ he didnt have to remove and clean it? Then the drawers and bedstand also too had dusts and crumbs all over. Shower worked great, gets a star; the lady's service @ night was great, 1 star, but the morning gentleman at the check-in wasn't so gentlemanly, minus 1 star. A star for Location by rhe beach and LAX, and Price per hotwire; but parking @ $24 was just not good; I think should be free for guests. Overall alright, but the dirty drawers makes you wonder if there's things they miss, like do they wash; clean, vacuum? Bring your own sheets, shoes flip flops just incase. Also the fan a. C. Heater dont work, or weak can barely feel anything, so suffocate.

Booked with Ihg priority club twice. Beautiful hotel and nice location. Pretty fish tank in lobby. All the Staff were very helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed walking to the pier and checking out the variety of fresh seafood and shops. Discoved a Dickey's Bbq very close by. Delicious.

This is a beautiful beach front hotel. Walk to the boardwalk and peer in a few minutes. Staff was excellent! Nicholas at the front desk is awesome! Stay here.

This is an old hotel that has been remodeled inside so though it's outside appearance is not very attractive, it is pleasant inside. They have a very big open-space lobby that's nice. It's located right on the marina so most of the rooms have a balcoy view of the water. The rooms themselves are pretty nice. The bathroom is nothing fancy or modern but it is clean. It's located right near the Redondo Pier so you're located close to everything. The hotel has bikes you can use as well as tennis racquets to use the tennis courts. Nice big pool and small jacuzzi that I didn't get a chance to use. The parking is very expensive but there is some street parking in the neighborhood that's not too far of a walk. Overall I had a relaxing and peaceful stay.

Paid $133 to sleep here per nigth and I'm over here getting harassed by thier third party hired negro security guard by Securitas. After a conversation it turns out theirs absolutely no reason why he's questioning me and just is because its protocol.

Reserved our room through 3rd party, not a busy time of the year, gave us a room as far away from the elevator as possible counted the steps 200 steps away not a lot but with luggage it seems far, no complimantary breakfast not even complimantary coffee in the lobby, parking @ $30 a night.

We are told that there is more room booked (and paid) with two beds, it will take until only one bed. For four! For us comfort, free parking. Outrageous.

Just checked in $300 and they expect me to sleep on a fold out couch. Bad news is it was 10.30pm and I have been on the road for 14 hours and the staff took so long and acted like they where doing me a favor to give me the worst fold out couch. What a scam.

I conducted a site search for a group meeting and found this hotel to be an ideal location. All rooms have been completely renovated. I found the staff professional in all interactions. The decor is calming and simply elegant. The neighborhood is lovely and interesting. As a new member of the IC rewards program, I enjoyed many perks! The Presidential Suite and Junior Suites are perfect for hosting exec meetings. The free breakfast was a delicious variety. We enjoyed our stay very much, especially the views, jacuzzi, and bicycling on the quaint boardwalk.

My son (14) and I arrived late from the airport. There was no valet after waiting 10 minutes so I went to the desk. They let me check in and charged me for valet service, $27 on top of this very expensive room for this lack of service. When they told me that we only had one bed, even though I called and requested two, they said they were booked and could not change my room but would send a rollaway bed up. The told me to go outside and give my keys to the valet. I waited 10 more minutes and finally went back to the desk where they took my keys and promised a valet ticket would be delivered to my room later. I asked them about getting something to eat and they said we could walk to the Joes Crab Shack, "across the street". Well across the street turned out to be three blocks away and I felt very uncomfortable about us being out so late in such a deserted neighborhood. I also was already very tired from traveling all day and did not appreciate the long unexpected walk. Upon coming back to the hotel we entered our room and it absolutely stank of cigarette smoke. Their solution to this was to give me a container of spray cleaner to spray the room with. They also had not delivered the valet ticket or the roll away bed. When I called, the front desk person sounded like she had never hear of any of this. After a few minutes she called back to say that we would be charged extra for the bed. About 10 minutes later someone delivered the bed.

We love photographing weddings and bar/bat mitzvahs at the Crowne Plaza. Many great backdrops for pictures, including the lobby with the aquarium and big columns, the upstairs pool with the view of the harbor and the big ballrooms themselves.
