Reviews of Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Anaheim, an IHG Hotel 3*
Awesome staff, always smiling and helpful. Good food at fair prices. Nice rooms, pool and hot tub are great.
Earlier this month, my family stayed at this hotel. It was a fabulous stay and we enjoyed the pool, the restaurant, the easy parking, and the proximity to the park. But this review is about how your staff went above and beyond to help us. In the hubbub of packing up to leave, my young daughter’s beloved white owl stuffie got lost in the white sheets and left behind. We realized it when we were back home 500 miles away. I called the hotel just in case, and housekeeping called me back right away. I spoke with the most empathetic and caring person who told me that they had it and would be able to mail it to me immediately. My daughter was overjoyed when it arrived. Yesterday she developed appendicitis and spent the day in the hospital, in pain, getting diagnosis and surgery. This little stuffie that made a solo journey back to us through your caring staff’s hands provided genuine comfort to this little girl while she was going though the scariest experience of her life. By taking the time to recognize and set aside a special toy, you helped her get through this tough day with an extra smile. Thank you! We appreciate it.
Just do not! Booking. Com was fair enough to refund me about 30% of the price they initially charged me. Aud970 for 3 nights at this place is ridiculous. I thought it was the market rate when I booked in Feb 2019 only to find out they advertise for usd99 in November. Rude staff. Personal belongings disturbed. Locked luggages every time we leave the room. Yet we discovered they were attempts to unlock them. Room never vacuumed. So please… just… do not.
I booked and PAID IN FULL for my room on 9/16. When we arrived to check in on 10/4 we were told that there were no rooms available. Gary at the front desk was EXTREMELY rude and unapologetic about the entire situation. Also worth noting that when I got there he was checking in a group for 2 rooms that HAD NOT PAID yet. Why was I walked when my room was completely paid for 3 weeks in advance? When we called a few days later to speak to the manager, he was also extremely rude and basically told us "too bad, we overbook all the time and that's our policy" and refused to take care of us. He told us to "take it to social media" so here I am. We will never stay here again as they completely ruined our trip that was supposed to celebrate both our birthdays and anniversary.
Really close to Disneyland. Restaurant nice. Staff polite and helpful.
They charge $18 a day to park in their hotel every day, a deposit refunded, plus cost of the room?
Absolutely horrid. Walked away from our room at 11pm — it was that bad. Staff is apathetic and management is equally unapologetic. I’d rather pay 10X to stay at a Disney property.
We *loved* our stay here in June. The hotel is trendy, clean, and rooms are spacious and well maintained. The little Disney touches throughout the property are very sweet. Breakfast is also included, and offers varied options such as cereal, oatmeal, and hot foods. Location wise this hotel cannot be beaten — it’s a 5 minute walk to the front of Disneyland. On one night we were able to watch the Fantasmic fireworks coming from the main park while on the street leading back to the hotel! There are also plenty of dining options for lunch/dinner in the area. Finally, I’d like to give a shout out to the front desk staff, in particular Ty, who was energetic, chatty, and super helpful throughout our stay. If you’re planning a Disneyland trip stay here — you wont regret it!
This place is perfect place to stay if you want to do a quick Disney trip without the frills.
Very nice and friendly helpful staff. Rooms are great. Pool and splash pad is awesome. Have enjoyed my stay very much thus far.
Couldn’t even get here due to poor customer service booking steer clear!
The staff is very friendly and helpful, we were even upgraded to a suite last time we stayed! loved the splash zone, Disney decor, fireworks view, comfy new beds and short walk to Disneyland! My daughter is bragging almost more about the hotel than Disneyland!
Front staff is super rude and unhelpful. The guy with the big brown poofy hair named Tye or something looks to be in his 20s is SUPER unhelpful and unapologetic too. Another front staff Andrea with black hair had a nasty attitude as well. They need to replace people like them who don’t care for their guests with people who do. Will NOT come back ever, have been treated better in a much cheaper hotel than this horrible place.
Great hotel. Room was very clean. Nice property. Will definitely come back.
Room was adequate, but bathroom shows age. Room door did not reliably lock and required verifying that it couldn't be pushed back open. Toilet made an intermittent high-pitched whine when we arrived. Again, it just seems like the property is aging. Also, read the notices on fees as this property is on the resort. Fairly short walk to Downtown Disney, but you may want to stay further out to save on fees.
We stayed there while we were on vacation going to Disneyland. The staff there were absolutely amazing! We had a great time there. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family!
Great service, the beds are firm but not too uncomfortable. I love that they give you two different choices of pillow. A little farther from the park than we thought. The walk about killed us, you will definitely need to invest in art.
We stayed there for a Disneyland visit. The room was fine with standard amenities. The hotel looks really close to the parks on the map, but it's a good 25 minute walk at a leisurely pace. They do have a shuttle available that makes it more convenient.
Okay, so we just stayed for 3 nights and here is my honest review. Checked in and waited at least 5 minutes for the elevator to reach the 1st floor. I finally packed my luggage and went up the stairwell to the 3rd floor. I watched several people wait forever for the elevator. One night my daughter wanted to go to the pool and I was going to try the hot tub. It was packed and we were told when we went in the pool area that there were no towels and that guest have been asking for over an hour for dry towels. Garbage cans were overflowing with garbage too. Nobody ever went out of there way to make us feel like valued guest. Only thing really going for this hotel is the close proximity to Disneyland. Hot tub is small. There wasn’t even enough room for me to get in with how many guest were there. Pictures may portray a different look, if you know what I mean. Hope this helps.
Holiday inn ruined our Disneyland magic. The rooms looked nothing like the fun animated rooms on the website, you have to buy a suite for that which would have been fine if they said that somewhere. They gave us a room with two full beds instead of the booked one king bed, which would, again, be okay if I wasn’t tying to sleep in the same bed as my spouse. The room keys didn’t work when we first got there and instead of giving us new keys they just sent us up to the room with engineering to “try again” where he used his own key to just let us in. Then when we left the room and came back from a hot day at Disneyland, the keys obviously still didn’t work and we had to sit outside of our room for over 5 minutes to wait for engineering again. And instead of fixing the broken door, he just gave us a new key. The main light inside the room would only work after turning it on and off about ten times, so we only had light from one little lamp. It was dreadfully humid in the room and nothing we did would fix it. The bathroom was so small we had to use it with the door open. And to be honest I can’t say there was one thing we actually enjoyed about it. Won’t go back!
I thought this was a very nice hotel and I really enjoyed my stay. Very pleasant staff. Comfortable room with a bed that had what I believe was a memory foam mattress. Plenty of outlets for all my electronics, plenty of channels on the TV including four HBO's. It had a nice little bar and good sized restaurant and a good menu. I used the workout room and found it to be better than average. I will definitely come here again.
It was a great place very children's oriented, the buffet breakfast was great it was worth paying the extra cash. The pool area and the kids area excellent. Totally recommend.
I stayed here for two nights and the rooms were clean and the beds were nice. The breakfast was delicious and nice that it was Included in our stay. The room over looked the pool which was nice actually and quiet. You do have to pay extra $12 for parking per day that we were not told about prior. We took the shuttle to Disney and that worked out well. The pool was nice and clean and had fun kids floaters. The splash area is also great for Little’s.
The kids love the splash pad. Just wish it was a little warmer so they could have enjoyed it longer. But other than that. The staff was great. Only an FYI… the wake up call automated message is waaaayyy outdated. Like from 2017. Might want to update it. Got me confused at 7 in the morning.
We stayed here for a week. The rooms were clean and the service was great. They always made sure we had clean towels, our beds were made and that we had k cups for the keurig coffee pot. The splash park was cold but the kids enjoyed it. The pool was clean and the perfect temperature. We LOVED the pool side food and drinks. The restaurant was really good and the prices were even better. Close walk (maybe 10 minutes) to downtown Disney. They also have a small store inside with a ton of different stuff. Also great prices!
Great room and service. We got to the hotel early in the day they have a luggage hold so you can go enjoy the city or Disneyland! Then when we were hoping for our room early thwy were able to help us out! Amazing service and very nice employees.
My family and I came for 2 nights while making a stop at Disneyland. We stayed in the Star Wars inspired suite. The kids loved it. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The restaurant had an okay selection of food and was reasonably priced. We appreciated the "Kids Eat Free" option since we didn't book a room that included breakfast with our stay. My only complaint is that the music being played by the pool doesn't get turned off after pool hours are over. Having a room that was located next to the pool was a little harder because of that. I did call down to the front desk to ask if it stayed on all night and she apologized and had it turned off. However, I did notice it was back on at 7am. Not the best if you're trying to get any extra sleep. Its currently 10:49pm and the music is still on despite the pool closing at 10pm. I will probably call down again since we just returned from a long day out. Despite my complaint, I would probably stay here again. It's very conveniently located if you plan to visit the Disney parks.
It is close to Disneyland. The fridge can fit a gallon of milk and then some. The beds are comfy. You can see the fireworks from the parking lot. It's an older hotel. Not sleek. The Wi-Fi sucks. Very slow. It's clean, but doesn't look it because age.
The Holiday Inn and Suites is an excellent alternative to a Disney Resort Properly. A short 5 minute walk to Downtown Disney, and another 5 minutes to the main gate. If you're not up for a walk there is a shuttle that comes by every 30 mins for a quick ride to the parks. The hotel is very family orientated and the staff is excellent. The room was very clean and the common areas were also very clean and well maintained. The themed suites are on par with what you'd expect at the Resort hotels. We'd highly recommend staying here and we will stay here again!
Excellent location and breakfast; Very good service… missing some cleanliness in the rooms… can improve but we definitely recommend.
IHG's chain Hotel mas cercanp Añ Disney Park A short one km, good facilities and with play area for children. Very good Hotel.
The rooms, pool, and location are nothing to write home about… However, they aren't bad either. What IS amazing is the service. The staff working in Onyx restaurant were so warm, welcoming, and efficient. Ya''ll should be proud of the service you provide. Your hard work was noticed and appreciated!
Clean, comfortable, great for the family. Staff is great. Restaurant is not so great. Serve free food for kids while dining with parents but food for kids is cheap. Need a few more selections. I would definitely stay again.
Do not stay here. Since we had arrived, the staff was very fake and unhelpful. They couldn’t even tell us where carts were to carry all our bags. The next morning, we sat down for breakfast. My son had a couple pieces of fruit on his plate and we were waiting for more food to be placed at the buffet. While we waited at our table we were rudely approached by another staff member and told we should have waited to be seated, however, nobody was there to seat us. This was a new experience because we never before had to wait to be seated for breakfast at a Holiday Inn. Then they told us we had to pay for breakfast, but it was supposed to be included in our stay. An agent at the desk told my husband we didn’t have to pay for it especially since we hadn’t eaten, so we just decided to leave. As we got up to leave, the manager approached us. She cut my husband off and wasn’t even interested in hearing his complaints about how we had been treated by the staff. She disrespected us right in front of other guests and loudly told her staff to charge breakfast to the room. This was the rudest and most unprofessional person I have dealt with. I have never had such a bad experience with any Holiday Inn. This woman should NOT be in any leadership position. She had no regard to the fact that I am very pregnant. She was following me and clearly trying to upset me.
It is well located, has Frigobar, the TV is great, the Internet is free, ample parking for buses or trails.
It's not very economical.
If you come to Disney Park It is a good option.
Friendly staff. Has it's own restaurant, which has a bar. Also a gift shop. Rooms are a good size and clean. Hotel offers free breakfast which is always a plus.
We stayed 3 night this pass week at this hotel. We arrived about noon, and the manger (forgot her name) but she loved the color purple! She helped me get settled in and upgraded our room into a frozen suite all complimentary. She answered all our questions, and showed us a short way to get to downtown Disney (5min walk) The staff there was super friendly, amazing customer service. They made out 3 night stay feel very homie. We will be coming back. Super easy, right off freeway and walking distance to Disneyland. Thank you for all your help.
My son loved the room. It was decorated in cars and toy story. Everything was great. The breakfast didn't have waffles, but they did have really good French toast.
Comfortable and with friendly staff without a doubt I will choose. Close to the Disney parks, about 15 minutes walk.
First off, this was not our first stay here. We like how close it is to the parks. We've stayed 2 other times, but this stay was the straw that broke the camel's back… we only have the room cleaned once during our stay each time we go. This time, the room wasn't well cleaned, but that didn't bother me at all! What got me was the RANDOM PAIR OF UNDERWEAR HANGING IN MY BATHROOM on the new towels. You read that correctly. Underwear not belonging to my husband, myself, or my 2 young children were hanging in the bathroom. We were disgusted. Will not be staying there again.
Very comfortable. Very comfortable beds.
The Service Is Very Good I Liked It But The Only Thing That I Liked Is That Charged For Room Service.
This hotel was great. The staff at check-in were pleasant, efficient and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and with plenty of space. This is one of those hotels that's large, lots of rooms. There is parking all around the complex. There's a nice small restaurant and small bar at the hotel. It's only a 10-minute walk to the entrance of Downtown Disney from the hotel. The walk from the hotel entrance go left on the sidewalk walk about 5 minutes to Magic Way turn left walk to the corner crosswalk and then turn right, Downtown Disney entrance on the right. You go through security here. It's another 10 minute walk to the through downtown Disney to the park entrances.
We love staying here! Great for families. It is budget friendly, clean, and the staff has always been great. My toddlers love the splash pad and I like the cute little gift shop in lobby. The restaurant has a good variety, a little pricey but that is bound to happen around Disneyland. The only reason I did not rate 5 is the Wi-Fi isn’t always the strongest and I don’t like the 10.00 parking fee and shuttle fee. Overall great place to stay and walking distance to Disney!
We really had a great night in our room here. It was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast and the cost was reasonable for the area as well. We rented the king suite which was a great place to enjoy the start of our 21st honeymoon. The parking was extra which is unusual for us. We understand the need to control the parking space right next yo Disneyland and the total cost was still within our budget.
They gave Me an upgrade to a suite. The suite was very good. The service was good and the room clean.
We arrived exhausted and thought that since we prepaid and had already been charged for the dates we were staying at the hotel we were going to quickly register and given the key to our room but instead the Receptionist coldly told me that since the Rewards account was in my husbands name and I was not on the Rewards account and the reservation was made under my husbands name I would have to wait to discuss this with the manager who was on her break. While we waited they had a violent movie on the screen and my daughter was terrified watching it and started crying. In our rooms the toilet was loose as was the sink faucet. The refrigerator was not working very well and not cooling our food enough. The soda machine only accepted cash and the bottles of water were $3. The room service only comes before 2 pm. The shuttle to Disneyland took a very long time. A terrible experience! I will NEVER stay at a Holiday Inn EVER AGAIN!
This is a really nice hotel. It is located next to Disneyland. You could actually walk from the hotel to the park which could save you money in terms of parking. The rooms are nice and it has a good pool for the kids. They also sell tickets to the park. I would highly recommend this location and hotel.
For breakfast ask for Jose Luis or Miguel you atiended. They are the best maseros in the restaurant of this Holiday Inn.
Very close to the park, you can walk. It is the first hotel that charge me for parking but you can go walking to the park.
Fun little hotel for our Disneyland trip. The restaurant is a great deal when eating as a family because kids eat free. Kids had fun playing in the pool and the splash zone. Will stay here again when doing a Disney trip. Walk to Disney is about 20 min. Not too bad even with kiddos.
We have always had a great experience staying here for the last 5 years. The front desk staff is top notch always willing to help and very friendly. Try to book the themed rooms for a special addition to your visit. The hotel is walking distance from Downtown Disney making it super convenient. The rooms are starting to look dated but still very functional with plenty of power outlets, blackout curtains and Wi-Fi. The beds sleep well and the housekeeping staff is wonderful. The restaurant is perfect for a quick bite.
This is our third time staying at the Holiday Inn & Suites in a year. The family is pleased with the at home atmosphere and great staff. For us, it is a home away from home. The pluses are: friendly, knowledgeable staff throughout the property, rooms are clean and the Inn is quiet. No rowdy guests. The restaurant serves delicious meals and has great take out pizza. We even get packages delivered to the hotel and are waiting for us when we arrive. There is a small shop for snacks, souvenirs and necessities. It is a short walk to Disneyland. The only minus (why I didn't give 5) is it is a touch shabby and could use some freshening up. But it does feel like home.
The hotel was about a 15 minute walk to Downtown Disney, which is where we caught the monorail into the park. Our room was clean and comfortable. The room wasn't large, but it provided plenty of room for 2 adults and one toddler. We didn't use any of the amenities, as we mostly used the hotel to sleep. The beds were quite comfortable. Note that there is a separate thermostat on the wall, and that the air conditioner cannot be controlled by using the unit's control panel.
The hotel room was on the smaller side but very clean and well put together. This comfortably fit two adults and one child. Staff was very friendly and understanding.
This is our go to when we want to stay over night when visiting Disneyland… The staff could be a little more helpful when it comes to the shuttle… You pay $5.50 per day… The employee at the front desk said that the shuttle comes every 15 minutes, which is a lie, I waited 30 minutes an no shuttle ever showed up, so I ended walking to Disneyland… My husband left shortly after I did, and says that he waited a long time so he called an Uber… We had no idea what bus we were suppose to take as the employee did not give us any information about the shuttle, we found out out from a Disneyland employee what shuttle we needed to take… The hotel charges a fee to park, which I think is ridiculous, but I'm pretty sure all the hotels around the Disneyland park take advantage of this… We are going to look into to finding a better option for hotels when staying in Anaheim as there really is no advantage of staying at this hotel…
Location, Location, location. An easy walk to Downtown Disney and the shortest security checkpoint lines. Staff was nice. Room was clean and comfortable. The only issue I had was that if breakfast isn't included in the room rate you select, it seems pretty pricey (We went with the buffet and while adequate, about the same as any free breakfast at most places that include some hot items). I would definitely stay again, just skipping breakfast next time.
It was very clean and sensio to find everything. Workers very friendly.
Fantastic stay! The room was beautiful & the bed was comfortable. Plus the handy t. V. Guide so I can get exactly where I want to go. I would definitely stay here again.
Jonathon, the gentleman working at the front desk was absolutely amazing! He was kind, accommodating, informative and overall fantastic at his job! We were in town for a memorial service and he was the first positive experience we had! He is definitely an asset to this hotel and should be a manager! We were there for 5 nights, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was all great and it was centrally located. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will be staying there again! Thank you for the great service, Jonathon!
This hotel was a great option if you are visiting Disneyland. The walk to the park is not too far, the hotel is quite kid friendly, and the front desk staff are wonderful! Our room was nice, nothing fancy, but clean. The restaurant downstairs was mediocre at best but was a great alternative to having to drive somewhere or fight the crowds in the park for a bite to eat.
My partner and I stayed six days. We really liked the staff. The room was plain, the bed was comfortable, the room was a bit dated, but clean. A shuttle bus to Disneyland. It was great.
Pretty mediocre hotel. You pay extra for parking and breakfast. Wifi is good and fast. Room and hotel in general feel like they were built in the twenties and never updated — low ceilings, chipped paint and tile. Clean though. Very comfortable bed. Decent gym and pool. Good location. Bathroom very mediocre, with toilet and bath in separate room, and sink in the main room. Smoke detector goes off from steam if I forget to close shower door. Perfectly average experience.
We have stayed here 2 other times. Once in a regular room, as it was cheap and not too far from Disneyland! Scored fair that time.
2nd time we had a Pirate themed full suite and the boys spent time playing in the splash pad! We rated them 5 that time!
This time, our 3rd visit, with membership "privileges", the Jr Suite we reserved for 2 boys (Avenger theme) was not available due to a broken shower head. So, instead of finding another boy's room themed room, they gave us Tinke…rbelle! The reservation also included 2 full adult breakfasts, included in the price paid. Because of the theme mix up they promised a full free breakfast for all of us and 30% off the room rate.
We did receive the 30% discount, however we did NOT receive any free breakfast and when I went to the front desk to have it corrected they said it was the restaurants responsibility! It wasn't the restaurant that promised the free meal, and, of course, the restaurant refused to honor it. AND, when we received the breakfast, the receipt did not list the delivery and prepaid tip charge, so I tipped an additional $10! That's $18 tip on a $20 breakfast!
Very disappointed!
Excellent service, room was excellent, room very good location.
Excellent attention of the staff. Very close to Disneyland. Good rooms and good rest. Speak Spanish and the restaurant has breakfast firm with an affordable cost.
It's uncomfortable… a bit abused… the rooms in deterioration.
This hotel is AWESOME. We unexpectedly left another hotel because of severe uncleanliness and needed a quick replacement and had a room at Holiday Inn within 2 minutes of walking through their door. They comped our parking fee because they sympathized with our terrible experience at our previous hotel and knew we had been through some unexpected drama. So nice. Their staff is phenomenal and customer service is TOP NOTCH. The rooms are great and the hotel is just super clean in general. Great place to stay and I will absolutely be going back on my next Disney trip.
Not a bad place. Stayed here on a business trip and it's more oriented for people going to Disney. Decent rooms nothing over the top friendly. Kitchen and bar area is nice but food needs work. Nice pool and hot tub.
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights last week for our Disneyland trip. The people at the front desk were really nice and helpful with any questions we had. I have to say they were the nicest people in California. The food at the restaurant was great! It was so nice to be able to eat a good breakfast before Disneyland and eat dinner after without having to drive anywhere. The walk to Disneyland was about 15 minutes which includes a walk through Downtown Disney. A shuttle service is provided to Disneyland and back if you prefer not to walk. We were able to see the fireworks at the hotel. The hotel room was clean and it was quiet to get a good night rest. There is a great swimming pool and splash area for the kids. A souvenir shop is located at the hotel. A bar for the adults to unwind after a long day at Disneyland. I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a great price, great amenities, but also exceptional service from the employees working at this hotel. Thanks for making our stay great. We would come back again for another Disneyland trip.
I just returned from a 7 night stay and I was very impressed with my whole experience. The staff at the front desk… ALL of them were so helpful, kind, accommodating, and NICE. The room attendants went above and beyond ensuring that my room was always clean. I ate at the breakfast buffet for two meals as well as drinks & appetizers and the food was great and service above average. I will definitely be back the next time I go for my Disney adventure in California. The location is perfect for walking to Downtown Disney. I will recommend all my friends intending on going to Anaheim for the Disney experience to the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites.
Hotel was well maintained. Conveniently close to Disneyland.
We enjoy staying at this establishment for several reasons. The hotel is located a short, quiet clean walk to Disneyland, which is a nice change from hotels located on the other side of the park. The hotel offers a neat slash pad area my children love to play at and a pool with spa. The rooms are on the smaller side and a bit old but everything is neat and clean. The rates here are comparable to other closer sites but we prefer this hotel for it's quiet location and amenities. The staff was great as well.
Good hotel. At the turn of Disney. We really enjoyed the experience…
The hotel itself is nice and in a good location but our room was on the second floor and did not have blackout curtains. We had a street lamp shining into our room at night and felt a little exposed during the day.
Room is nice and clean. Kind of run down. Bathroom fan squeaks and you can hear toilets flush in other rooms at night. Service is friendly. Short walk to Disneyland main entrance. 15 to 20 minutes at brisk pace.
Stayed at the Holiday Inn for a night to go to Disneyland and I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel was a very short walk from Disneyland's main parking structure which was very convenient. The room was mostly standard and acceptable, except for a few spots in the carpet which were a little sicky.
It is the great place to go to the Disney land. You can see the disneyland firework at the hotel parking lot; Perfect view! The pool and water playground is awesome for my 3 yr old kid in the Inn. The character thema suite was fun. I was in pirates room. It was Good experience over all.
My family LOVED it here! The restaurant has amazing food, great portions, great prices and helpful and happy staff. Just a short 15-20 min walk to Disneyland, clean pool to cool off in and helpful friendly staff everywhere you looked. We had an amazing trip and would definitely stay here again. My kids are 8 & 11 and were very happy.
Wonderful attention I liked the room everything comfortable.
Wonderful stay. Close to Disneyland. They have a shuttle to take you to the theme park and back to the hotel for a small fee. Disney decor in the lobby and family friendly restaurant inside the hotel. Big plus for me was that kids eat free off of the kids menu with a paid adult. Friendly staff, clean comfy rooms, water splash area for kids, and pool. Will definitely be back soon.
Close to Disney yet away from all the people on Harbor Blvd. Room was nice with a fridge and microwave. My kids loved the pool and hot tub. The ART shuttle was very convenient. The kids ate free at the onsite restaurant and a pizza place was onsite as well. Economical and fun!
Nice and convenient for Disney. It's a no frills, economic option. We stayed in a star wars themed room. Our kids loved it.
The rooms were fairly clean, great location, near Disneyland Resort. Check in/check out was a breeze. My two complaints would be that parking wasn't included in the initial room fee and the second would be the discovery of bugs in the room. Specifically a small roach. Not a great find. I don't know that I would book there again.
The the at the hotel was great. Pre-check in made the official check in super easy. They were excited to see half marathon runners (Disney's Avengers Half), so they had the lobby decorated and special menus. Very friendly staff as well!
Had a seminar there, asked the front desk if they had a FedEx drop off. They replied they would take care of it. Handed them a sealed FedEx envelope with the shipping label attached. Tracked a few days later, FedEx never got it. How do you f**k something that easy up? Because of this ineptitude, I will not trust this place with providing me a clean room… ever!
This place offers great value for the price you pay. It's very close to Disneyland and the employees were very nice and welcoming. I recommend to anyone who wants a great value and quality.
Nothing but excellence. If you have a big group this is the place to stay. They have been very helpful and have gone beyond my expectations. Mike and Mayra are so pleasant to work with and have helped make this trip great. Love the holiday inn and this one is the best in my book.
This hotel is amazing! Splash bad, pool, awesome rooms, and kids eat free. The manager Roy has been overly helpful and so great to work with. We have multiple rooms for our family reunion and I was surprised how great my experience has been. Thanks so much for making this trip very memorable in the good way. Highly recommend.
I stayed at Holiday Inn Anaheim on 8/29/15 to 9/1/15. I truly enjoyed my stay. The room was very clean and the front desk staff were very friendly and courteous. They even booked us for a tour to Universal Studios. The bartender was super friendly and he knew our drink and was getting the glasses ready as we walked thru the door. The restaurant was also very good and reasonably priced and children eat for free with an adult meal. I would definitely recommend this hotel and when I go back to California next year I will be staying there.
The room was very nice. I slept comfortably. The only complaint I have is that I barely get the Wi-Fi signal in my room. And sometimes the Wi-Fi comes and goes. I dont know what the problem is but im trying to watch my shows on my laptop comfortably, not waiting for it to buffer.
This hotel is very close to Downtown Disney and Disneyland very friendly excellent staff beds were comfortable the themed rooms are excellent for little children highly recommend this hotel. The food was good.
Front desk was friendly, rooms were clean, they even gave us a fridge at no extra charge. Restaurant food was good but both times we ate there it took a longtime to be served. The walk to Disneyland was long. They said 15 mins but thats how long it took to reach downtown Disney, then another 10 to 15 mins to walk through there to reach Disneyland. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay. PS the review that complained about the curtains, they didn't know how they worked. I had to ask the staff.
HORRIBLE customer service! Like absolutely horrible! I call to ask their promotion they have on their website about the Disney Vacation Package, and it was not a promotion at all. The room was a lot more expensive than what they quoted me online. Than the male representative was pushing me to reserve the room. When I told him no and stated that I would rather pay for what their website quoted me. He reply back to me saying than why is the point of you even calling? Seriously, the website state cheaper discounted room if buy disneyland ticket. The room didnt turn out to be cheaper, but rather more expensive. The representative begin to lecture me indicating I had wasted his time. I had enough and just hang up on him. Those who are planning to book here, STAY AWAY.
Staff was friendly at first, was told we could see fireworks from our room could not. Stains in the tub, so I could not give my 1.5 year old a bath thank goodness my grandma lives close enough to take a bath. Room smelled mold, toilet was dirty, asked for new pillows because of stains on two of them was asked why we needed all four? Because I do not want my face on dry blood and what looked like fecal matter. Really poor customer service.
My wife and I stayed here for a Disneyland vacation. The bed and location were fine, and the staff who greeted us on day one were very pleasant. However, upon checkout they tried to charge us an additional $250 "smoking fee". My wife and I don't smoke, so I went down to the lobby to inquire what this was regarding. Then the front desk employee told me that on the previous day at 2pm, housekeeping walked into our room and caught my wife and I smoking marijuana. At first I thought this accusation was some kind of prank. My wife and I are deeply religious people, we don't smoke marijuana, AND we were at Disneyland the entire day that they claimed this incident occurred. I tried to be reasonable and suggest this must be some kind of mistake (maybe housekeeping wrote the wrong room number down? ). But the front desk employee insisted it happened. This was incredibly embarrassing for my wife and I as an entire lobby of customers could hear the Holiday Inn employees accuse us of breaking the law and smoking marijuana. After arguing with them for some time, they eventually took the charge off, but still insisted I was guilty. This is not the way to treat your customers. Especially when they CLEARLY had accused the wrong people. They should be ashamed.
Staff is friendly. We only stayed for 2 nights. We had a room with 2 beds but it was SMALL. Parts of the carpet were torn up but nothing major. The dark blinds dont close either which bothered me. Just the thin white curtain.
Definitely stay here for your Disney vacation! The rooms were amazing, service exceptional and distance to the park (although greater than the advertised "1 and ½ blocks, " it was still close enough to walk if you're able. I let my daughter piggyback the whole way… We were very comfortable and accommodated well from room amenities, pool access to food offerings in and out of this Holiday Inn. Stay here.
