We booked stay thru Expedia for room with two Queen beds. Arrived and was told our room was given to other guests because many reservations using 3rd parties (eg Expedia) often don’t show up. We were offered a refund our a rollaway bed. It’s Stagecoach weekend so odds weren’t great we’d find other accommodations so we took the rollaway (not Queen). Hotel guest Wi-Fi literally nonexistent so went to front desk and was provided their better hotel Wi-Fi login that still didn’t work. Room phone DID NOT work and we weren’t the only guest with that problem. Just be aware if you’re looking for anything more than a place to rest your head, they’re not very user friendly. We will look elsewhere in the future. ✌️

Excellent place to stay and for entertainment.

We paid for 2 nights. 1st night we told them our TV control was shot (didn't work) as well for the phone. 2nd night we got a replacement control but only the "channel down" button worked.
I went to the front desk the 2nd night to order room service for our little one since he has surgery early the next morning. Well the guy at the front desk was not helpful at all. In fact he sent me on my way to the "restaurant area" to order room service & since he did so with an attitude I asked him if there was anyway he could help fix the TV or phone situation. He replied with what do you want me to do? I said idk is there anyway you can help? he replied. Oh you want money… ok I'll give you 1 resort fee off. Smh with such a tone.
I have NEVER had someone act that way towards me as a paying customer. 🙃

also to add we got to our room & the fridge was open but off so the room smelled super musty.
the only person that was helpful was the guy that took my child's order & had it sent to our room when he said. I really appreciate that bc like I said my son has surgery in the a. M & cannot have food or drink after midnight.

This was our first time here and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Such a great vibe about this place. The staff was amazing, the food was great, entertainment 5 stars and even the guests here were awesome. No drama. We will definitely return.

The place is family friendly 100% and very quiet at the same time. I love the pictures! We walk all around just to see all of them! The staff was friendly and professional. The daily breakfast was really good!
But, what I didn’t like is what I told the receptionist that the carpet on the rooms and the chairs upholstery need to be washed. They’re dirty. The floors on the hallway needed to be vacuumed more often and I didn’t like that the people just leave their trash outside of the rooms.

This is an amazing place. Staff is helpful and wonderful.

Great water temp for mid winter!

Best price in town for what you get. Sadly bar and restaurant are closed for entertainment and dining indoors. But you can eat and drink by the pool. The rooms are vert dated and as described in other reviews clean… but the carpet has stains as did one of the pillow cases. The mattress feels like it’s stuffed with hay lol. The pillows are made up of crumbled up foam. TV is small and turned it self of at 10 pm.

We booked Indian Wells on Groupon and were disappointed with the hotel, the lack of cleanliness and bad plumbing. We checked in 11/27/2020 and checked out 11/30/2020. There was a roach in the hallway near our door when we entered the room — what a welcome. The toilet was so loud we hated to flush it and when flushed it ran for 2 minutes before stopping. The website claims the most alluring asset is the Indian Wells Resort Hotels’ unsurpassed commitment to exceptional service — we did not find this to be true. We tried to get another room but the front desk told us there were no more rooms and Oscar the maintenance person had no clue how to fix the toilet. We were very disappointed with our stay.

No complaints due to Covid we understand there are limited amenities.
The breakfast is the best reason to come here. However, we had a terrible experience with rooms. We had to be moved because the neighboring room was smoking weed in a non-smoking room. Instead of getting them to stop they moved us. The new room phone didn’t work so we had to call from our cell phone when needing anything. Well that was fun when my kid got locked in the bathroom and the door handle broke off. We left the slider open because I like the fresh air to come through and it’s cool at night. I then woke up to a woman smoking next door on her patio. Again in a non-smoking room. I couldn’t believe that no one followed this rule. You can smell it in the hallway of the 1st floor it’s so strong.
We’ve stayed at this hotel 3 times this year and this was by far the worst living experience. Hopefully they clean things up soon.

Breakfast was great little disappointed Frank’s place was closed. Service was great.

Nice place, Covid has the bar and restaurant closed to seating but are open for take out. The pool situation on sat was a little weird. You need wristbands and they are for 2 hr shifts. We didn't have to much of an issue but they clear the pool for each shift. This place will be better when the restrictions are lifted.

Casual atmosphere. Jennifer at the front desk was nothing less than friendly and professional. At no time did she loose her cool considering the COVID-19 pool situation. However, One staff (male) was off the GRID lacking employee relations protocol. Verbally chastised another employee at the front desk in front of myself and other guests while we were checking out. Shame on him! I I’m sure it was caught on resort cameras since it blatantly took place behind the front desk. I have been coming here for years and will continue to do so but felt so bad for that one employee… it was a demeaning situation and nobody should go through that.

Lovely experience with my Wife and I will come back and fully relaxed time.

DO NOT STAY HERE! I am not sure how they have an overall score of 4.1 Someone is lying. Terrible customer service, breakfast is a joke, and I have a charge to dispute and 3 staff members cannot help me reverse a charge for water we never used in the room. Instead of being charged $6 which was the original mistake, now I'm being charged again instead of it being reversed because they cannot figure out simple math. I've worked in the hotel and food and beverage industry for most of my career. This place is laughable at best. Do yourself a favor and stay at the many other properties Palm Desert has to offer. I imagine if they were with us, Lucille and Desi wouldn't want their names and reputation attached to such a place.

I LOVE this place! The entertainment is great, room rates are great & an excellent pool & hot tub. The customer service is to notch. I LOVE this place so much I always come back for more.

Everything about the hotel was great. Wasn't treated fairly at the pool due to the fact we had a small cooler inside. The bartender told us we couldn't have one. Which is understandable. However he didn't tell all of the other guests that had cooler they couldn't have it in the pool a free area as well.

The ambiance seems a bit stale and dated. I was extremely disappointed in the Hospitality department. I had to flag my waitress down to take my food order, after she stopped me mid order to help someone else, and the Bell Boy didn't even ask me if I needed assistance with my bags. I am female and I had my 6yr old daughter with me, and he just watched as we struggled to push our luggage to the elevator. To make matters worse, 2hrs prior to my arrival I called to make sure my room would be available, and when I arrived after my 4hr drive, they said my room wasn't available and asked me to wait 10-15min while they get a room ready. There were so many things that went wrong, it truly put a strain on my bday getaway.

The hotel is absolutely wonderful! Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, great breakfast. This is a wonderful place to relax and it's located within 10 min of shopping, nightlife, theaters, and restaurants. My wife and I come here at least once a year when we visit palm springs.

Had a great time. Pool was excellent, room was clean, parking was easy, staff was great. Continental breakfast was so-so. I would definitely recommend coming here.

The indian wells resort has become my home away from home. Ive been here over a dozen times in the past 5 years. The gm dave really knows how to make his guests feel comfortable. Wonderful vibe, full ammenities. I highly recommend it!

I have to say I loved being this close to the Indian Wells Tournament this past March 2016. The tram ride was super fast and very convenient. The pool and jacuzzi were nice as well. The hotel itself NEEDS a re-model. It is old and feels old when you walk in! The rooms were decent but nothing spectacular, the cost was fair but I would pay more for better ambiance and a nicer room. I think the Indian Wells resort hotel needs a redesign and a feminine touch, it just doesn't feel very inviting. The continental breakfast was mediocre at best. Overall, it was just okay.

Is a hotel of time but well maintained. In the evenings there are singers show where the people of 60 or more it is that they spend great. It is a good place for families or couples with many places to eat nearby and the great outdoors.

I liked it up until my room was robbed by hotel personnel! They had changed the locks on every room 6 weeks before. They had been feeling with many lock problems during that time and all the personnel had become desensitized to the problem. By the time I got there the hotel staff knew exactly which doors don't lock propperly. They hit my room and the room next to mine 8 hours later. They were able to push the doors open a special way as if they weren't even locked. They took my $2000 laptop, $500 in books and my car keys. Plus I lost many more thousands in productivity (it was a work trip). The hotel blamed me and said that I left my door ajar even when I could clearly demonstrate the technique used to open my locked and shut door. Insurance paid zero for my loss.

It's a shame a place so beautiful and in the location it's in has some of the worst service and amenities I've ever seen in a hotel. Why is there a $28 resort fee when you feel like you're in a motel? The continental breakfast is a joke. Frozen eggo's, toast, and cereal. Food is based on availability and the restaurants will close early. And these prices for food holy cow. $20 for a chicken salad, $25 for pasta. Really. Check your rooms, dirty glasses, stained carpets, and trash under and behind furniture. It's a shame a place that used to be so beautiful has turned into this. I really hope this place turns around but next time I'm out here I'll be staying someplace else.

The resort is quite nice. What takes away from some of its luster are the huge resort fees. Even if your rate is always $59 they tack on the $28 per night resort fee. I ask what those fees were four and I was told they were for parking, Internet, breakfast, and happy hour. Well I didn't need parking or Internet, and breakfast consisted of bananas, cereal, and a few other dry items. It was pretty sad actually. And happy hours open to everyone. I'm not sure why that was included in her statement. The entertainment is outdated and kind of cheesy. It was like watching a parody of a bad lounge act. The rooms are nice, especially the sweets. And the staff was awesome. I probably won't stay here again because there are plenty of nice hotels that offer free parking and free internet and don't try to god you with extra fees. The price of my stay was $158. After taxes and fees that turned into $244. Not good practice as in not acceptable.

I stayed at this hotel on business during the week. For the price and the location it was a great deal. I don't understand the $20 hotel fee on top of the room charge at all. In the end it did not matter much too me. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The morning breakfast wasn't the greatest but served its purpose.

Actually pretty happy with this place. Did the groupon deal and got a suite. This is perfect for a family of 4. Room is within 10 feet of pool and golf course. Beautiful scenery, clean place and huge rooms! Also pretty convenient to have a restaurant in the hotel. Thanks for a great experience.
