I definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing weekend getaway. Service on point, clean and comfortable bedrooms. Quiet place to relax and enjoy a peaceful weekend.

As a 25+-year hotel employee (Ritz-Carlton, Park Hyatt, Grand Hyatt) I have stayed in dozens of this country’s finest hotels. The Sands Hotel and Spa in Indian Wells, California is without a doubt on of the most personable, well thought out, and enjoyable hotels I have ever visited. The staff is exceptional (Ashley at the pool was particularly impressive), the design is welcoming and stylish, and the clientele is young and beautiful. The Sands has captured the zeitgeist of the youthful Palm Springs experience. Excellent!

Staff is super friendly and very attentive! This is an adults only property so a big WIN! Rooms are nice and love the stocked bar selections. Food from the Pink Cabana is delish. Most definitely recommend and will returning. Glad I am staying a couple nights. Oh lastly, this hotel is dog friendly.

My husband surprised me w a night out and away. He came across this gem “Hotels Tonight” by accident after deiv my home from work on Saturday afternoon. We can honestly say that our experience was amazing… far beyond our expectations. We stay in a hotel about once a month and we will definitely be back to this oasis. Besides personally loving the color scheme, the attention to detail was like a movie. We felt so taken care of and spoiled. Lunch poolside was an added surprise, although pricey — worth it.
The only thing that could have been better was knowing where we could get ice for ourselves, as to not feel like we were bothering the staff. Also, maybe a better tour and information about poolside beverages n food. Overall, still superb time.

Pros: 1. The design of the hotel was cute, unique and Morocco Style — Small/boutique Hotel 2. Very quiet and relaxing (adult Only) — Loved the morocco music around the hotel 3. Super friendly Staff Cons: 1. Let's start by the temperature of pool — The pool felt like a Jacuzzi — Super Hot in 120 F weather, you could literately put a teabag in the pool — Not fun at all — Per older reviews this problem has been reported but no fix yet 2. The pool was not clean. A lot of bugs and long hairs floating in the water ​3. Pink Cabana restaurant — The food was great but the service was extremely slow — We asked for a coke, but after 15 mins, the waitress told us that their soda system doesn't work. (very disappointing) Also, we've asked for Ketchup and got it after we were done with our food — The restaurant was pricey and should have provided a better service.

The cutest hotel around. From the moment you walk into the lobby you are transported into a Moroccan wonderland! The rooms are great sized, not missing anything, and incredibly comfortable beds! The restaurant is amazing! Ask for Jose — he creates the most incredible and unforgettable dining experience. Every single staff member is beyond kind and welcoming. The service is outstanding and this will be my go to hotel and restaurant!

OUTSTANDING! Our event planning team stayed overnight and had an incredible experience. It is obvious that the staff takes pride in the property. The rooms are updated, well styled and comfortable. The Pink Cabana offered not just a delicious dinner, but a culinary experience. Jose, our server provided over the top service. He was well educated on pairing cocktails and wine with dinner… making it a dinner to remember! Olivia was more than hospitable, touring us on the hotel rooms, spa, and Pink Cabana. She educated us on all the venue has to offer. I will definitely be coming back here and can not wait to refer my clients! This is going to be an amazing wedding location!

This place is stunning. It was designed with the little details in mind. I just want to take photos everywhere I look. The people are so sweet.

Loved the experience. During the day, it's really hot outside, but around sunset time pool experiencr was great. Not too over crowded and had enough Cabana options. The room came with cool mini bar station. The decoration was fun and loved their bathroom with shower and tub separate.

Absolutely loved this place. We just stayed one night and did not want to leave in the morning. The pool area is fantastic, the rooms are really nice, the bathroom is really well laid out and all the decorative tiles around the hotel look beautiful. We booked here for the first time and we all fell in love with this place! Definitely a great place to stay!

Did not stay at the hotel, but the pool and grounds are lovely. The Pink Cabana restaurant is so 50's Palm Springs and the Scottish salmon is to die for. They are working out some serving and menu issues, but overall the food was good. Molly the manager is receptive and should do well there. Best wishes.

I stayed here last minute for Coachella via Hotels Tonight and was pleasantly surprised with how charming this boutique hotel was. So relaxing and cute. I would come back no questions asked! Hidden gem in the dessert and very affordable:)
