They are super nice and the room was great. We stayed here as newlyweds and they gave us a free room upgrade. They also gave us a free coffee mug with the hotel name when we checked out.

Great king room! the ceiling fan was a nice addition. Front desk staff was very nice and professional. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Really close to restaurants and easy to get to.

Professional staff, enjoyed their hospitality and recommendations for the area. Rooms were clean and equipped with everything needed for our stay. Nothing but good things to say about the inn.

Stayed a few nights and it was very good. Simple rooms that have a fridge and microwave and the other standard amenities. Bathroom was a bit small but it was sufficient.

Really a gem of a place to stay in Sedona. First-class management with exceptional service to make all wishes possible. Impeccably clean rooms, no noise, and dark shades for night time and morning. Definitely would recommend as the owner is very professional and courteous also.

We stayed in the king jacuzzi suite… It was just perfect! Gorgeous views of Sedona, easy walking access to the store and restaurants, very quiet room, a small but nice pool to enjoy… The bed is one of the most comfortable we've ever slept on… It was hard to leave!

Stayed in King Bed with Jacuzzi Room. This was like staying in a suite. Stayed here last 2 nites of our honeymoon. Loved this place. Restaurant around the corner has 9" square cinnamon rolls to die for.

Enjoy the ideal location for base camp. Hiking, shopping, and plenty of distractions to enjoy. Wonderful restaurants nearby — Red Rock Cafe and Pago's are musts. I love all the magical mountains.

My family and I stayed at the Desert Quail Inn last night and didn't have a very good experience. Patrick, at the front desk, provided very poor customer service, being abrupt, rude, and lacking in communication skills. Then our room keys were disabled an hour before check out time. We were overcharged for our stay and then charged an additional 50.00 after we checked out. When we called Patrick to inquire about this, he was not able to account as to why. He seemed genuinely disinterested in helping us as he said he has someone else on the line and needs to hang up. When we asked to speak to his manager, he said he doesn't have his number and would not take our number down in order to have his manager contact us. I would never go back to this hotel, especially when there are plenty of places to stay at in Sedona that can provide an enjoyable experience.

The staff was nice, the room was nice. The beds were comfortable. Noise level was acceptable. The clerk confused our room with another and gave us the wrong key cards. As we were getting ready for bed, another guest walked into our room. It startled all of us. We called the front desk and the clerk apologized. We went out in the morning and our key cards had been deactivated. We had to wait an hour for the office to open to correct the mistake. Might make me think twice about staying here again.

Hated to give one star. Grouchy staff. Acted like we were putting them out by staying there. I felt like a scolded child because we checked in late. Traveling from San Diego to Sedona and looking for a nice place to sleep. Not this place. They need to go back to school and learn customer service 101. Rule — You are in the hospitality industry.

Room was very clean and it was in a great location. Had a fireplace and a big tub with jets, there is a nice restaurant and a grocery store super close to it as well.

This is a nice place to stay in sedona. Clean, comfortable and affordable. Location being away from uptown is a plus. We found it easy to do day trip to Grand Canyon from the Desert Quail Inn.

For a 2 star type motel this was very nice. Newer renovated rooms, nice beds, clean, quiet, and plenty of room for our portable crib.

The room was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. We were not too happy about the fact that the front office was only open at certain times. We got lucky because we were leaving and packed all our stuff, only to close the doors, and go to return the key cards and check out. Come to find out there was no one in the office before 8am, so we were gonna leave the keys in the room and call later to let them know we left. Well somehow neither key would get us in again and we had to hang around town until someone was at the counter. Unfortunately we did not notice the mailbox we probably could have left the keys in until we returned. After a bait and switch issues with a third party booking company, they did eventually agree to forgo the extra charge for the room with two beds which was appreciated. This place is within walking distance of many shops and eating establishments. The walls are fairly thin as well, and we were woken up by two drunk idiots stumbling into the room next to us.

Always impeccably clean with modern room decor in a relaxing earthy color palette. Beds are comfortable. Close proximity to shopping and the breathtaking vistas of Sedona.

The higher number rooms (X08, X09) are further from the street and more quiet. Nice room, good size, Jacuzzi.

Normal hotel. Not located in the main part of Sedona but in a nearby town with limited food options (although Sedona is a short drive). Small cute pool and hot tub. TV with decent channel selection (kid channels, news, hbo, etc. ).

Perfect room, location, beds and service. You do need to be able to carry your luggage up to second floor if you have a second floor room.

This place is a gem! We stayed here, at Las Posadas (not desert quail) last week, then went to a convention. Due to weather or flight was delayed do we came right back! Rooms are immaculate, elegant and the gas fireplace is perfect. Large, well appointed bath kitchen area and patio. Best thing is the awesome home cooked breakfast. Authentic Southwest cuisine. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

Don't be confused by the "two-star hotel" in the description. While it might lack a 24-hour lobby, restaurant an wine-bar, this place is FIVE STAR all the way when it comes to quality and service. The rooms are top-notch quality with attractive, new furniture and fittings. The beds are super-comfy beds and everything is clean and fresh. The air-con is effective (although perhaps a little on the noisy side). Front desk staff were wonderful, and the building is freshly painted and appealing. Great coffee right next door at Firecreek Coffee.

Warm, professional, helpful staff. The king room with jacuzzi and fireplace was just what the doctor ordered for a brief getaway from a demanding job. The land is beautiful and powerful, the small shops in the quieter part of Sedona were welcoming. There was a great breakfast place just a one minute walk from the Inn on one side, and fabulous latte and ice cream on the other, with a small crafts fair just across the road. Not too shabby! Slept like a dream and knew that the getaway accomplished an important shift in energy and attitude. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Completely clean and comfortable! Large room with everything in great working order. Nice managers/owners (I'm not sure which they were, but good people! ) Red Rock Cafe, a very good breakfast place, is just steps away. And the location of the motel, in Oak Creek Village, is a lot more peaceful and less crazy than downtown Sedona.

Last night decision for the husband and I. We booked on the Hotels Tonight app, got a good rate. We used the jacuzzi, pool was clean room was clean. It was perfect for what we needed!

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon in Oak Creek just outside of Sedona without any hotel reservations and when we stopped in to see if they had availability they said they just had a rather large party cancel so we were able to book a room for two nights. We loved our king size room. It had a whirl pool tub with walk-in shower a fireplace, which we didn't need, a pull out sofa and two chairs. It also had an outside pool which we did not use. It was very clean and easy walking distance to shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommend this quaint little Hotel. Thank you for a great stay.

This is my new place to stay when I'm in Sedona. On my last trip I had stayed in a jacuzzi suite at a competitor and it was ok but this time they were $30 more so I decided to shop around and I'm happy I did. These rooms are super nice with a fireplace and all the things you would need such as microwave, mini fridge, etc and not to mention that the staff is friendly and have suggestions on places to eat and all that. To say the least I am impressed and will be staying her on my next trip out.

Lovely stay! Nice little family operated MOTEL. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was attentive to our needs. No breakfast was available but we already knew that. No views were available and booking at their rate knew that also. Highly recommend this Motel.

This was our first visit to Sedona and I'm super glad we stayed in Oak creek village at The Desert Quail Inn. This was a great affordable place to stay. The rooms are very clean and decorated nicely. The staff is courteous and offered suggestions about what to do in the area. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. The views outside of the hotel are breathtaking, the moment you walk out onto the street, you are awestruck by bell rock, cathedral rock, and courthouse butte. The location is awesome, out of the hustle and bustle of busy Sedona.

Wow talk about VALUE. Great location! Great Rates! There is a supermarket and prob the highest rated cafe in Sedona next door. Rooms are very clean and the surroundings were quiet and peaceful. The manager Nick was without a doubt the best resource, he recommend some great restaurants and some great ideas on how to spend our time in Sedona. I would recommend this place to anyone heading to Sedona. Thanks Nick for making our vacation that much better.

Clean, expansive rooms for not a lot of dough. In my opinion, the building's exterior detracts from the quality of the ammenities and the pool's heat isn't so hot. Otherwise, great value for your money.
