We stayed 3 nights. Great staff, nice rooms, clean, and even helped us with our fish. Restaurant was good. HIGHLY recommend. We will definitely be back to see them again!

I felt it necessary to share our experience as it was truly the worst we’ve ever had!
My husband and I checked in Jan 2nd looking forward to a hot tub room as we’ve been working hard and came across on the ferry. Winter in Seldovia is pretty hard work wise, so last nights stay is about a week of pay… we truly just wanted to treat ourselves for a night.
When we checked in the guy was very sweet and offered to have maintenance fill up the hot tub as he said it takes about an hour. We thought perfect, we can go have dinner and drinks then head back to the room. When we arrived to the room the hot tub was overflowing and about 2-3 inches of water covered the entire floor! We carefully packed our things and reported to the office. Again he was very sweet and quickly moved us to another room.
We enjoyed the hot tub but quickly realized the thermostat was not working properly and we had to keep opening the window to cool off, single digit temps outside. Finally it was cool enough and fell asleep about 4am no longer sweating. We were woken up at 5am to our front door being blown or kicked open. Pretty scary when it is a keyless entry! I will always deadbolt going forward! Then again woken up at 8:30 because the hot tub automatically came on! No wonder the other overflowed! Super creepy! Once awake someone was moving furniture around upstairs so that was it.

Free breakfast, a variety breakfast I should say. Clean rooms. Free Wi-Fi. During the summer, try to book 2 months in advance, as it fills up quickly and stays booked. 4 stars because prive in the summer is high. Paid 199.00 a night for 2 beds.

Amazing place lost in the Alaska wilderness (for me, city people) but actually in the city center of Homer. Rooms are big, clean, they get warm with heating (i was there in winter). Food is nice, could be better but no many options in Homer in February at 9PM! Great atmosphere. Nice view from behind (the rooms have windows behind the hotel). Very nice and warm staff. Amazing. And see my profile picture, it's HOMER ALASKA!

Super comfy bed. Clean. They have shampoo and conditioner and soap dispensers in the shower! We had our own. But still. Nice to know if. Ypi don't take any. The bar/grill on site had pretty good food and drinks. Nice. To have dinner and a drink and walk to our room.

Great stay, clean comfortable room, coffee in lobby EARLY! Breakfast started at 5:30am!, had lots of options and was very tasty. Perfect for an active trip to Homer.

The location is near the the beach and also close enough to most of the shops in town. The room is nice and spacious, the bathroom is a little on the small side, but contains all the necessities. The hotel staff is kind and helpful. And the breakfast is pretty good.

Great place to stay we booked a fishing trip stayed the night in one hotel just because we had already paid for the room and I was really tired just couldn't stay a second night at that hotel. We left it went up the road to the Best Western the staff was friendly room was clean got a great night's sleep for the drive back to Anchorage the next day would stay there again.

I can’t complain. Our room was comfortable. The included breakfast in the morning was very good, and the attached bar had free popcorn.

Roomy and clean with a very nice breakfast. Except for the kenai best western, they are by far the best hotel chain in the state.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We brought a pack-and-play for my youngest son to sleep and and the hoisejeeping.

This hotel is awful! Hot tub room isn’t non smoking… ash tray was 3 feet away from our room. We didn’t have king beds, the hot tub didn’t work. The room smelled. The experience was awful. Don’t stay here especially if you have children who are sensitive to tobacco. Smoking outside a non smoking room is acceptable in this hotel management eyes.

Great hotel for anytime in Homer I use it always for a few days of fishing rather than drive back to Soldotna each day!

Nice rooms and located close to many attractions. There was no body wash in our room, other than that, this place is great.

Room was clean, quick service. Coffee at the breakfast buffet wasnt very good.

Ok hotel. It provide breakfast in a cafeteria, with a gorgeous view of the bay. The room is clean, although a bit old. Very quite. The buildings are not connected, and if you want to go from one building to another, you need to go downstairs, and there is no elevator. Not friendly to disabled people.

Hotel is very clean, and staff is polite. Breakfast is great. Kitchen Crew is enthusiastic. Bathroom beauty aids and amenities are very helpful. Towels, Sheets, and Pillow cases are very clean, fresh and nicely scented. 12:00 pm check out is a +. Suggest maybe put up some friendly signs in hallways and doorways-"Please Keep the Noise Down and Respect our other Guests Rest. Thank you. "

A great comfortable place to stay for the money. Friendly staff that is efficient and accommodating.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and contained an electric fireplace. I had a room in the main building with the office. My room didn't open to the outside. The breakfast buffet was decent. I enjoyed the waffle bar and that they had fresh eggs instead of powdered.

Quiet, cozy rooms, has a restaurant/bar there to have a drink and some dinner, great staff at restaurant /bar and front desk.

The breakfast all three mornings we stayed was great. Staff was helpful and provided us information to resolve the problems that did occur. All of the problems were results of our timing on coming and going during the day not the hotel staff or the hotel.

Good food, good music (They turned up the Juke box for us) while we played pool, Mrs. Pac Man in the little arcade, lounge rocked, mellow people.

We have had a good stay at this hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and the breakfasts are good. There is even a small restaurant on location. The Bidarka Inn is also located close to all activities in the area. I would stay again.

The Bidarka Inn is usually a Great place to stay, but my experience this stay left a little to be desired. Maybe it was because it was summer tourist season. If you stay, I would not recommend eating in the lounge, but to go someplace else. There are not many places to eat an evening meal, but there are a couple available. I like that the hotel has an exercise room available. Donna Kasilof, AK.

The room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was also delicious. The Wi-Fi was very slow though.

Traveling all across Alaska for work, this has to be one of the better places I have stayed. Clean rooms, hot water, good shower. Bed was comfy. A bit spendy, however work picked up the tab.

Very nice room. Huge comfortable bed and pillows. Great water pressure. The breakfast was fantastic! I was expecting fruit and stale danishes but received a full blown, hot, buffet. Exceeded expectations by far. My only complaint was the noise and the single hair I found in the bed. Possibly it fell off the housekeeper? Highly recommended.

The people smoking pot in a room near ours stunk up our whole room. Definitely not one of the better stays I've had here. I work someplace with random drug testing. Legal pot or not I could lose my job.

24 hour check in, able to accommodate pets if you got 'em, government rate if it applies, real breakfast, room was clean, beds were soft, and customer service was excellent. My room was far from the restaurants so noise/smell people mentioned in another review wasn't a problem at all for me. The free breakfast isn't continental! Eggs, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, etc. Delicious!

This would have been a one star, but they moved us out of our original room five minutes after arriving. We walked into the room and a smell of cooking oil and cheap food penetrated the room from the bar below. If that wasn't enough, apparently the oven vent runs through the second floor and shook the room, the base was pretty heavy so it was hard to hear anything over the vent. They did move us to the floor below (hence the two stars). The first night was okay, maybe 2.5 star worthy, but the second night consisted of us waking up every 20 minutes to the sound of drunkards yelling outside, upstairs, next door, and stomping throughout the building. I am grateful that we only paid $90 a night. A week prior, we would have been paying double, as Alaska's summer rates are ridiculous.
