Racist management! They were fine over the phone. Once she found put I was black. Different story. Reserved a king suite a month ahead of time told me at checking in I could have no vistors something that was not told to me over the phone (we was not having anybody staying over but nobody could come and visit the family) only 2 ppl could stay in the room. For a room with 2 beds and a living room. And kitchen. Had family coming in. Will never get my business ever again. (My cousin said at his last stay when they were in town he was at the pool and management ask him did he have a room and what room was he in out of all the ppl out there only him) I ened up getting a room at the Hampton same price and was told that I could have as many vistors I wanted. I asked was 4 ok as far as guest and they said sure. I will for now on use the Hampton. Family business owned and only their Kind.
Rooms are huge, tub even bigger, rooms are well maintained, pool was great and the front desk were very nice.

We checked in on 9/8/17 and checked out on 9/14/17 when we evacuated hurricane Irma. Even tho our stay was not under normal circumstances, I have to say the staff at Gadsden Inn showed us nothing but kindness and patience with us. When we first arrived our room did smell of cigarettes even tho it was a non smoking room. The lady at the front desk quickly came sprayed the room and the smoke smell was gone. There was NO EVIDENCE of bed bugs or any other bugs as mentioned in other reviews. Their breakfast for the week consisted of the following : biscuits and sausage gravy, hard boiled eggs, peaches, assorted cereals and oatmeal, assorted bagels and bread, orange juice, cranberry juice and coffee. In the week we stayed we were in the 400 building. That building is across a train track. In that week the train came at 10pm and 4am on night one and at midnight on night three. Other than that, no train. Perhaps a room farther away from the track would be better. I hope your stay is as enjoyable as ours. I plan to come back, hopefully on vacation this time and not an evacuation.
