The worse motel I have ever stayed at. Everyone there especially the women was super rude! I guess that’s what you get when you pay cheap! Will not be back! Y’all better go to Motel 6 right up the road. You may have a better experience there.

The staff here was so super friendly and they offered the most inexpensive costs of a room the night I was there with my company. We asked about local attractions and everything, quizzing the staff and they seemed to know everything about the local community where they were located. I recommend this location and business to anyone in the future in this area.

Clean rooms. Nice staff. Super comfortable bed. I checked in at 915am and checked out at 745pm. Seemed to confuse the lady at the desk, but I just needed a place to sleep today between work shifts. Only complaint I have, and it's a 3rd shifter one, the curtains didn't "hug" the window enough to block out all of the sunlight. No biggie just a minor inconvenience.

Small but nice and quiet. It backs up to a golf course. Great food nearby. Lola's has great food at reasonable prices on the river. Staff is very friendly at both.

This is a nicely updated older property with excellent beds and linens. It was very clean. For a no-frills motel, it is an excellent choice. I can recommend it.

Clean room! I stay at hotels often and have never seen a shower that I would actually take a bath in. I'm a 31 year old male so I don't take baths. Well I guess sometimes I do :-). But I didn't need to because the damn bed was new and it was a pillow top. At their rates I couldn't imagine not staying there given the hospitality and kindness right from the beginning. Standard continental breakfast which is no biggie. But they damn sure gave me orange juice long after the closing!

My family and I stayed here after the March 19th tornado. Very friendly staff. Greta Hunter the Manager and Mr. Patel was helpful. Clean, quiet and we felt safe during our stay. I would stay here again.

Terrible when we booked the room the owner said he smelt smoke on me but I quit smoking a year ago when I told him he tried to make me put my credit card on file and would have charged me 200$ if he smelt smoke which I didn’t think was smart since he smelt cigarettes on me when I haven’t smoked in a year. My wife has allergies and asthma the rooms smelt like an ashtray we had to sleep with the windows open so my wife would be able to breathe. My wife also had went in and tried to get him to give us a non smoking room to which the owner said “that’s not my problem that’s between you and him he’s the one smoking” after she had told this man more times than I can count that I didn’t smoke. It would have been his problem if my wife would have had an asthma attack in his room nasty floors and broken tiles. Don’t waste your money coming here terrible.

Very friendly staff and the room was clean, if a bit worn down. Pretty good breakfast options, too. Very accommodating when we accidentally booked the wrong size room.

Rooms were clean comfortable and well worth the money. Greta at the front desk is extremely helpful and they made it easy for my boat plenty of plugs for our chargers there were probably 10 boats here and we had zero problems with parking or charging.

Don’t let the outside fool you. Very clean and reasonably priced. Inside has been updated. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Free breakfast and Wi-Fi. I would definitely stay again.

I'll keep my discussion to the room, although interactions with employees was also not great. Doors all seem to be about 1/4 inch too small for the frames. The bathroom door you could see out of around the edges and it barely held close. The main door you could see daylight around the edges. This isn't a massive problem, just very odd. Then there were 4 bugs that we got be friends with for the night which was a little off putting. The microwave knob was broken and jammed back in so it didn't look broken… until you went to use it. Also the microwave looked to be very old. The beds, however, were shockingly comfortable and clean.

Love it. Clean rooms. Courteous Staff. All in All a great experience I will stay again on my return to Gadsden.

Friendly and helpful staff. This hotel is just old. Mothball and mildew smell in the rooms. Many amenities near by including some excellent local restaurants.

Very accommodating, clean, and new pillow top extra comfortable beds! So nice as we checked in at 11 pm to stop and go on our way to Virginia. Very helpful staff for surrounding sights and nice breakfast! Very happy and would stay here again!

Not a great place. Lots of mysterious stains, boogers on the wall and just gross in general. I know hotel choices in gadsden are limited, but I think I will try a different place next time.

It was a pleasant visit. They were sold out. It was at the time when Hurricane Irma was in Florida and there were a lot of people from Florida there. Management handled theload very well. The breakfast was more than the usual Wyndham breakfast and was very good. Pleasant visit.

One bed to soft the other good firm bed hard to. Not enough towels, pool good and clean.

It's kind of ran down. Protect your bags cause they like to go throu your stuff.

Bathrooms are filthy. Rooms are musty. The woman behind the desk last night was extremely rude when we asked for more towels… there are only two towels in the room and they don't provide pool towels! What is a family of four supposed to do, share 2 towels for the shower and the pool? Also, we had to wear flip flops in the shower because it. Was. Gross.

Roger the owner is so nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean and the bed was awesome. I slept like a baby. Oh and the A/C rocks! Thank you Rodger.

I picked it because of user reviews & I appreciate all who use do. Y'all were right, nice older hotel, well kept, clean and the lady up front was willing to make us extra coffee too! What a pleasant surprise, but we opted out, had checked in late and didn't make it for the breakfast, but it's mothers day, so my honey was already intending to take me out to eat… this is a beautiful town & all the folks we met have been friendly too! So if you're coming to Gadsden & need a room, this small older hotel with a great staff will surely make your stay a good one!

The price I was quoted over the phone was not the price we were charged; we were charged $10 more and the air conditioner didn't cool, at first. The owner came to see about it the first time but one of the remodeling workers came the 2nd time and fixed it. There were no more issues and we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in this hotel for a night because my father in law ended up in the hospital on the way to pigeon forge and this hotel was close to the hospital, well I'm not sure if the lady in the office was just someone who worked there or the owner (I think she was but not positive). Anyway she was very rude when we were trying to check in, because I had called to book the rooms & they give me a different price than what she was trying to charge us. Then, My 15 month old busted a drink can on the tile floor, which is a small space before the carpet begins & when I asked if I could get someone to clean it, she proceeded to get an attitude, wanting to know if it got on the carpet because it was new carpet, which it hadn't. Now I understand it's a hotel & there's probably a lot of traffic, but if it's as new as she wanted to act like, my child's knees wouldn't have been as black as an ace of spades. Sorry but there is no way it could have been that "new"! Also when I got down to clean the drink up before someone came to mop it, there were shards of glass on the carpet under the chair. With that being said, I am only giving them 2 stars because the room did look to be decent & fairly nice (we looked at the room before we checked in bc another hotel we were going to stay at was filthy after we checked in & got to the room).

Horrible experience! In town for business, tried to get a room for the night because I didn't want to drive an hr home. Got asked if I was having a party. Um, no. Just wanted to sleep. He kept asking if I was having a party. Could you please just do your job and sell me a room?! I wouldn't recommend this place to someone I dislike. I wouldn't have even given it one star.

Wow, really exceeded my expectations! It may be cheap, but the room was nice. Beds were so comfortable. A very friendly owner. Good breakfast! Thanks again for a great stay!

A great hotel experience. A little pricey at $90, but a great place. The front desk staff was fast and friendly, even making the waffles for the free breakfast. The room was clean with nice beds. The other guests were friendly and the neighborhood was nice. Stayed there because it was the closest hotel to Talladega at a reasonable price. It made the weekend great. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The staff was SUPER nice and friendly! I've been to many places where the rude front desk staff makes you want to turn and run — the (I think owners) were so wonderful and friendly I wanted to stay longer! The Cons — The hotel is older and it's showing some wear, a little loud at times (it's close to a main road). The Pros — Friendly staff, beds were very comfortable (a nice surprise), free, working Wi-Fi.
