Clean Room. Friendly staff. Good quality for such a cheap price.

This place is absolutely unbelievable. Unless you love Dirki Dirk's. The air conditioning is just a thought. I'm can't be sure about bugs but I have been itching since I got here. I have seen my share of crack hotels and this rates right up there with the worst of them. Do not stay there if the homeless shelter has a vacancy. Bug spray comed with the room key.

Very reasonable prices. AC doesn't work so well.

If you are road weary and just need a bed, it’s a place to lay your head. Very run down. The sheets were questionable. I had to get a smoking room for my mother and the bedspread was covered in burns. The whole underneath had apparently caught on fire and was black and melted. The bathtub was covered in burns, the heat and air unit was so worn out I couldnt read the knob and had to tinker with it for a long time. The smoke detector was missing. The extra bar lock you usually have was missing. The breakfast bar consisted of coffee, corn flakes, white bread with a toaster and oatmeal cream snack cakes. My mother was extremely unhappy considering we spent $80 on a room for one night. It was Talledega weekend so I’m not sure if that’s the regular price or not. The staff was very friendly, it’s not their fault.

Rooms were ok, floor could have been vacuumed better but I have seen worse. Staff was friendly and shower had good water pressure.

This is a no frills motel. Nothing special, but nothing too bad, either. The price was right, the staff I dealt with was friendly, housekeeping was adequate, location was convenient. Continental breakfast is fairly skimpy. Free Wi-Fi was surprisingly fast. Didn't expect much, wasn't disappointed.

The place was clean, but the beds were hard as a rock and the pillows felt like they were filled with big cut out foam pieces. The front clerk was super nice. We just weren't able to rest too well, but it was a very cheap place to stay though.

Stayed here during the Talladega race weekend. We got ground floor as per our request and the room was big and nice for two people. It seemed busy due to the race but no noise came in. I would recommend this to anyone.

The worst motel we have ever stayed in! First of all we evacuated from hurricane Irma, we got the room for 3 nights. The room runs $40 a night but he charged us $80 a night (PRICE GOUGING)! The first 6 hours the a. C. Was not working, FINALLY he comes in to put freeon in. There was dead roaches on the floor! To top it off on our second day we were able to go back to our home after the hurricane and thought we would ask for our 3rd day back that we paid for since we were not going to be staying, he refused to give us our full $80, he would only give us half! It's horrible that this business used our unfortunate circumstances for their financial gain. Don't make the same mistake we did about this place! I had to give a star to post ☹️

Absolutely terrible room. Front desk was nice but room was horrible. Dirty walls dirty floors bent towel racks peeling ceiling tiles sheets were stained and smelled musky. Light bulbs were not working tub had missing fiberglass and hardly drained. This place was terrible. Not staying a full night it was terrible.

Quick and easy. Clean and nice. Quiet. Nice people from India or Pakistan. Food smelled great at the office/managers room. Great showers and very good furniture. A bargain! Large TV.

Cheap price. Published directions in state travel magazine not as clear as could be. Staff offer little information. (Had to call office for Wi-Fi password and breakfast times). Lock on bathroom door wonky. Almost had to call desk to rescue traveling companion. Guess you get what you pay for.

I have video of roaches in the bathroom. When I demandrd y money back or I was calling health Dept. He got smart elec and told me to call. Worst ever. Will never go back. They r Roach infested.

The owner was rude. The room was filthy and smelled badly. Decided to find better lodging.

The hotel was clean. They had large vehicle parking. However the pillows were couch cushions that was weird and the bed was hard as a rock. For a quick overnight it was ok but I felt the price was a little to high for what you get. We would probably not stay here again.

BED BUGS! This place is NOT one star, it is negative 10 stars! I was moving for graduate school and found this place online. I reserved for the night of July 31, 2015 and they put me in room 107. After getting settled I laid down to watch some TV. I felt something bite my arm, looked over, and saw a red welt forming (I have pictures). I started to worry and when I checked the corners of the bed, I found bed bugs. I even killed one right on the white sheets, which were already speckled with blood stains from previous guests. I immediately removed my belongings, went to the front desk and asked for my money back. She told me they'd never had any complaints and offered me another room, which I declined (if one room has them, its likely they all do). She then offered me a 50% refund, which I also declined, and told her I would dispute the claim with my credit card company, which I am in the process of doing right now. DO NOT STAY HERE! The Days Inn just down the road is bed bug free (its where I stayed after I left Rodeway, and believe me, I thoroughly checked), and approximately the same price.

We had to go to another motel. Didn't like anything. We went in the room and saw a big spider in the bathroom, burn marks all over the bath tub and bed bugs on the bed. The room stunk like smoke. The ladies at the desk was rude and wouldn't give us a refund saying she hasn't had any complaints. I said you are getting one now. Never go there. I KNOW I WILL NEVER GO BACK! It isn't worth one star, I only put one because I couldn't leave this message. And who ever is saying it was good is probably the people that own it.

This motel was terrible. The owner… some foreign man has continuously yelled every day disturbing everyone's peace. There is a young man that works here for him and he won't allow the man to speak to anyone or even fix himself a cup of coffee In the morning. He is so rude. Every time my boyfriend has tried to speak to this man (the owner) if we have an issue, like needing more towles or anything the Indian man will come to our room check it and yell at us. I can not believe the disrespectful attitude of these people. He treats us like we are trying to steal his towles. We have been nothing but nice and they are just rude. Especially the older man. He stares at me if I go to the breakfast bar. He makes this stay very uncomfortable. And his lack of English makes it hard to speak to him, even if he could understand he doesn't try to listen anyway. He just yells, and is so rude! We have been here a week and this man makes us let the maid clean the room. Even if we're sleeping he will knock and yell until we answer. I hate this motel. I will never come back. The owners are TERRIBLE! DISRESPECTFUL! Words cannot describe how terrible this motel is. The sad thing is it could be good but the owner is so mean, rude, and inconsiderate! Good luck to anyone who has to stay here!
