Awesome young lady at the front desk. Room is decent and quiet. Again… very nice young lady at the front desk ☺️

The worst! huge hole in the wall of our room behind the door. Bugs crawling on the window and curtains! phone didnt work. Someone elses dirty clothes left under the bed! mold on the ceiling. Missing water sprinkler in the ceiling. Also they gave us a pet room but in the booking it states u will only get a pet friendly room when requested! my husband has asthma and began to wheeze after we realized there was pet hair everywhere! lets not even mention the smell of the pet urine in the carpet. Any pet friendly hotel ive stayed at always had hard floors and leather furniture … the maids are not doing their job! front desk was no help and never offered anything to make up for it! my husband is a professional boxer and we are in gadsden alot! we will never be back!

Great staff/ clean rooms / fast check in.

Arrived last night to a very dirty room… we had dog hair all over our beds and couch! The bathroom was even dirty! Do not stay here! Pay a few more $ and go to Holiday Inn Express!

We just checked out of the hotel and tried to take this through the hotel to let them remedy the situation. Sadly, the management would not respond to us and it took multiple calls, including one to corporate, before we got any reply which was they're not going to do anything but offer a few points. First of all, it is clear the rooms are not properly cleaned between guests as we had a used bottle of shampoo, dirty towels, and someone's earrings left in our room. Also, while they may advertise their rooms as non smoking, their rooms have most definitely been smoked in. You can tell not only by the smell but also the cigarette holes burned into the curtains. The floor of the room was absolutely disgusting. We would walk around the room and the floor was sticky and turned your feet black. We had to wipe our feet off with wipes before putting them in the bed. Our 10 month old who is still crawling was covered in black nastiness, we ended up holding her most of the time. Lastly, the room had ants. We woke up with multiple bites as well as had to kill some ants. We have had to shake out all of our belongings hoping there weren't any in the clothes we put on the travel home. The only good thing this hotel had going for it was its front desk workers who you could tell were not shocked at all.

Reasonable rates, clean rooms and comfortable bed.

I was initially upset about front desk but, I've been here a week now and, everyone is very friendly.

I wasn't impressed at all with Comfort Suites in Attalla, Alabama. They advertised having a hot tub… nope. They advertised a hot breakfast… nope. They advertised clean, comfortable rooms… nope. While I can dismiss the issue with the hot breakfast (none of the hotels are doing that right now because of Covid-19), the other 2 points are major issues for me. No hot tub whatsoever (not just having one that currently closed because of Covid) is a deliberate lie, which is absolutely unacceptable (the advertising for it is on Priceline, Hotels. Com, Expedia, so it's not just a mistake on one website). As for the room? Seemed fairly nice at first, but after a couple of hours we started seeing ants… on the floor, on the furniture, in the bathroom. By the time we got up in the morning, they were everywhere. We literally had to shake out everything we had with us before packing, watching to make sure they didn't infiltrate our suitcase. The concierge that checked us in last night was a bit rude. Before I entered, I asked if I needed to put on a mask, and her answer was "I don't care, I'm putting mine on". Who says that? I showed her my PAID reservation (full receipt), but she then proceeded to attempt charging my card for the room. When I pointed out that it was ALREADY paid for, she insisted that I was wrong.

Great place to stay for the night.

A very cozy hotel; especially in cold weather! Probably the best bed and A\C combo hotel… Absolute comfort on the bed after I set the AC one time. Great hotel with breakfast! Yours Truly,

We came into town for a wedding. We chose this hotel because we was bringing our dog with us. However, I would not recommend this hotel. First of all the beds was not what I would consider a Queen size bed and second no matter what you do you can’t drown out the sounds from the rooms above you! We may have slept 5 total hours the 2 nights that we was there! We had a noise machine running and I finally turned the fan on on the air conditioner unit to try to block out the noises coming from the room above us! All night both nights of our stay someone was sprinting from wall to wall above us. We reported it and nothing changed. Finally about 2:30am the second night of our stay my husband and the desk clerk went upstairs to talk with them. Needless to say it continued again about an hour later. The name of this hotel is misleading! There was NO COMFORT SUITES in this building! Only sleepless nights!

I was glad to find this Comfort Inn, it is a good stop for me when I’m heading home from the gulf. Neat and clean don’t have to worry about the floors being sticky or dirty. A 4+ as far as I’m concerned.

Needles in sofa bed and they moved us to another room and it had cat feces all over. They only took 17.51 off a bill. Still have never received apology from the at all even after filing formal complaint with corporate.

We loved our room it was so nice and quiet. Bed was so comfortable didn't want to leave it. We stayed 2 nights no problems. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. We will stay again when traveling again. We stayed this time for a funeral.

This Comfort Suites has nice facilities, though not the best in this brand that we've stayed in. The staff was unfamiliar with the basics of laws regarding Service Dogs even though they are a "pet friendly" hotel. It seems to be an issue on this area from what we were told as apparently other hotel chains can and move guests with Service Dogs to this location (although this is obviously not legal). However, that piece isn't the fault of this hotel. The ice maker was broken on the 1st floor requiring to go quite a way to get I've on another floor. Not a deal breaker but not top of the line upkeep, either. There breakfast was only till 9am which is quite short as most other Comfort Suites run till 9:30am or 10am — even on weekdays. Lastly, we were put in a "dog friendly" room with my Service Dog, which is fine but I have to say there was still dog hair in the carpet and the room smelled extremely damp and musty… even of mold. This is worrisome for anyone but especially for someone like me with serious respiratory issues. The hotel was OK, but not the of the Comfort Suites chain by any measure. I wouldn't actively avoid the hotel but I wouldn't really want to stay there again either. That's as unbiased and fair of a review as I can share. Hope that helps.

I usually like Comfort Suites and this one is decent but is only getting 2 stars because of the terrible lack of cleanliness. The elevator threshold was full of grime, had a dirty q-tip, and had obviously not been cleaned in a very long time. The room we got had rice in the middle of the floor, a Ritz cracker on the side (which shows it had not been vacuumed), the bathroom sink has grime along the top lip, the back part of the bathroom door had dried lotion on it and the whole room had a very stagnant smell. Otherwise, the breakfast was very very good. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

We have stayed here a few times because it is the ok only nice hotel in Gadsden with pet rooms. However, the pet rooms are run down with a terrible odor, and the cleanliness is low. Came tonight and was almost turned away because we requested a suite and had a dog. They let us stay in the suite for one night because the pet rooms were booked and are forcing us to move in the morning. Got up to the suite and it is very clean and there is no odor. So the gist is, the nice rooms are off limits to people with animals and the dirty stinky rooms are for people with pets. So if you have a dog stay at the motel 6 because it is basically the same thing.

We had two cats with us so we needed a pet friendly hotel. The rooms were nice and spacious so we didn't feel confined with the little ones. Staff was friendly and helpful. They had ample parking even if you have a large vehicle or camper. Definitely a good experience and would recommend.

Very wonderful place! Clean, excellent customer service. Breakfast was nicely prepared and very good. Most certainly will stay again next time I’m there.

Air conditioning was turned off so the room had an unappealing smell. There was also a roach in our room and we couldn't use the fold out sofa bed because it was dirty. The free hot breakfast was very good and the reception staff were very nice and welcoming.

The room was clean and comfortable however there was a smell of mold and it was evident by the stains on the ceiling that they have roof leaks. There was also a faint odor of tobacco smoke and despite the best efforts I believe as a non-smoking room it has been smoked in. Check-in and check-out was smooth with very pleasant staff at the front desk. The breakfast was about what one would expect for the price point that the hotel is in. Not easy to see from the highway and one has to determine which parking lot belongs to which hotel.

Most of the comfort inns are really nice and clean. I can't say that for this one. The shower had long hair on the side and had not been cleaned. Room was getting run down the smell of a wet dog was very strong. I won't be staying here again.

It was a nice place to stop and sleep for the night, on our way to Florida. Had a great breakfast too. They were doing renovations the the lobby while we were there which wasn't an issue, but it was a bit of a mess. The rooms could use some updating though. The pullout couch was pretty old. But, all being said, it was still a very affordable place to stay.

Like this hotel for stopping on my 900 mile trip to the south. Sometimes its a little pricey as they change it based on what's going on. And to me not totally bang for the buck, but it has always been a nice site to my eyes after a long day of driving. Let put it this way, glad the boss is paying for it, hehehehe.

It was quiet and clean but not very appealing. Building is older and lacks basic maintenance. The hvac unit in first room didn't work. Second room, TV wasn't plugged in. Had to move furniture to reach outlet.

If you're going to have to stay in this area this is by far the best place to enjoy your time.

Don't waste your money room 206 was missing the smoke alarm with exposed wires in wall, capped off but exposed, photo available. Tolit did not flush well No wash cloths in bathroom. Had to walk down to desk to get them. So frustrated did not check fitness room or pool. On the up side night staff at desk was helpful and polite but not to the standard of a Comfort Inn. Full breakfast with waffles was up to standard and as usual. Maybe management could learn something from the Sleep Inn on Ruston LA. If anyone reads this the exposed wiring poses a safety risk and needs to be addressed as soon as possible.

We’ve stayed here a couple of times when passing through. It’s a nice halfway point on our trips. The rooms are decently comfortable, and quite clean, the breakfast is nice, and it’s super convenient to the interstate. Reception is always friendly & the price is right!

I should have read the reviews first. Checked in the first room pillowcases were dirty and had make up on them along with a ring of black mold around sink drain. Second room was worse than the first with many long black hairOn the bed that never had new sheets put on it. Also on the bed was a lot of dirt and black specs. Lady at front desk didn’t seem too concerned. When told her I just wanted my money back she said OK without giving me any kind of a print out. When told her I wanted something she gave me a piece of paper off the printer said this is all I can do. This is not the comfort suites I am used to. Will absolutely never be back to this one after Reading reviews it seems as though owner or management takes no responsibility or actions.

1) Front desk area smells like an ashtray. 2) Front desk nigth person is always on her cell phone and smells like an ashtray. 4) No laundry soap to buy to do laundry. Poorly stocked hotel. 3) Came back to this. Went down to front desk to talk about. Girls apologized and only thing she could do is give fresh towels.

Is the staff justtrying to help hurrican evacuees, or are they always this cheerful, helpful, and thoughtful? These people could make camping in a bug-infested swamp okay. Luckily, what we actually have is a comfortable suite, and lots of extra space in the breakfast area for me to work when my husband (and the cats) take over the desk in the room. The only think that could make this better is if they can wich a hurrican away from Florida.

Worst experience ever. Came up for a wedding staying the weekend. There were four to stay in our room. We were promised two queen beds. Got here and they said all they had were a king bed. They refused to make it right. Offered no apologies and told us if we didn't like it we could go somewhere else. Worst experience I've had at a hotel.

Very nice rooms, staff is friendly, the room had comfortable beds with wonderful pillows. Not the best breakfast, coffee is with out flavor. The price was of a true value for the travelers.

I did not have a good experience. First my family and I were out for the day and we would come back it would be about 6:30pm and the room was not taken care of by housekeeping yet we has to leave the room and go sit in the lobby while the FINALLY took care of the room. Then there's the lies. When we checked in I confined that I'm able to pay the day of leave and I was told yes. No one ever said that money will come out my bank each day which when I complained 3x I was told it is to "hold" the room. They didn't care to try and take care of the issue and with not caring I got a room where the pull out bed was all nasty no sheets so u had to have my son sleep in his sleeping back and the wallpaper in the bathroom was peaking and there was a stupid fly in the room from the time we walked into room on day 1. I feel the staff was not friendly and not caring. The ice machine never worked. I expect some result because right now I will never stay here again if I come back down. You guys are luck to get a 1 star.

We reserved a room for one night in advance for travel ball. Arrived at 11:00 pm after playing all evening to find out they gave our room away and tried to charge us more than our confirmation price. The lady was so rude. When we finally get in our room it's only 1 bed instead of 2. We go back down to ask and we were told that they were booked. So we asked for sheets for the couch and pillows. She would only give us one pillow. What good is making a reservation if it's not even going to be honored? I am highly irritated. If it wasn't almost midnight we would be going across the road to the Hampton Inn.

My car broke down at the Cracker Barrel by the hotel after our trip to Orange Beach, Alabama. We came in got a room; luckily my parents were traveling with us so they continued home, middle Tennessee, with our two older boys. My husband, our daughter, and I stayed over night. Because it still a 3 1/2 drive for my family to reach home it was midnight when they arrived. My husband and I knew my parents needed rest as well so it was going to be mid day before they would return with truck and trailer for my car. The staff was wonderful so understanding of our situation and allowed us to stay after check out time with no additional charges. The room was clean and well taken care of. The breakfast was also good. I would stay here again in Gadsden if every needed.

Im a truck drive and I have been to all 50 states and never found a hotel better than this.

The room was awesome! The beds and pillows were super comfy, even the couch was comfy! The pool at this location was very small just as an fyi. Everything was very clean and tidy even the grounds of the hotel! Breakfast was just ok, there was not a very big selection. Staff seemed pretty friendly I didn't have to talk to them much. Overall I would stay here again and would try another Comfort Suites.

The customer service at this hotel is awful. We had to call multiple times to get someone to answer the phone to make a reservation the night before. When we went to check out there was no one working at the front desk. I waited there over 15 minutes. The housekeepers finally had to go search for the front desk clerk. Other guests got tired of waiting and left the room key on the counter. I left a voicemail for the manager and still have no return call. I tried to call the corporate office and stayed on hold over 30 minutes nobody ever answered the phone. This delay set us back over 30 minutes from when we needed to get on the road The rooms are clean and odor free but customer service is awful …

I was there for an extended time. Rooms where clean, staff was nine, breakfast was pretty darn good!

I booked the room online at a rate of 90 a night and when I got to the hotel, it was 100 a night. This is obvious false advertisement, but the front desk clerk said there was nothing she could do except cancel my stay.

We had a great stay. We brought our dogs and they were welcomed. Very friendly, courteous and also very professional!. I highly recommend this hotel.

The room was clean and spacious. The bed was a little on the hard side but not too bad. The breakfast in the morning was very good and they had a great selection to choose from.

Im actually here right now. The front desk associate was nice. The decor in the front, my kids love it. It gives like a comfortable at home feel since all the christmas stuff is up. My room is big and the bed last night omg was so comfortable. Now we are headed to breakfast and I heard it was very good. U may see the hotel overall needs minor improvements but so far so good.

We needed a clean place to stay for a few days and this did the trick. Beautiful lobby, some minor updates or cleaning needed. Bedding for a pull out sofa bed should be in the room.

We were just looking for a place to stay and get off the road on our way home from our vacation. We didn't need/ weren't expecting much but this place was awesome. We saw it advertized in the AL hotel magazines at the rest stop and got a great deal. The beds were amazingly comfortable, the sheets were nice on my sunburn skin, the showers felt great. They had free hot breakfast that included eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, and waffles, along with what you would usually expect at a hotel breakfast. Although we didn't use it, they had a pool, passes to a gym, and great staff. We wished we had stayed at places like this while on our actual vacation. I highly recommend them. They were fabulous.

A great stop on the way to the Smokies. Clean, updated rooms, comfy beds, Wi-Fi, new tv's, good DIY breakfast buffet.
