Fairly new hotel. Nice and neat. A little short on amenities, no pool, no breakfast only one computer for business travelers.

Clean, comfortable, with lots of amenity options (movie rentals, kitchen item rentals, etc). It's clear the owners care greatly about the quality of their hotel. Would definitely recommend for a short-term or a long-term stay.

Very clean and nice. The staff was great and friendly.

May be minor, but they had a pine/cedar scent in hotel, while a large group of tree trimmers were there for a convention. Plus, the pizza place down the road was really good.

Great hotel with awesome staff! The only downside was the guest in the room above us decided to stop repeatedly across the floor at 5 am.

This location is directly across a very small 2 lane road from a SEWAGE PLANT and all through spring, summer, and fall the smell is unbearable. It dosnt matter if you are in your room, in the hall or outside on there patio. It is not a pleasant experience. Its just the location that is the problem so look on the otherside of lakeshore.

This was the first time I had stayed at this hotel and it was definitely nice for the money. I was only staying a couple of nights, but the room is set up for a longer stay. The room was very clean and well taken care of. There was a kitchenette in the room with a stove, dishwasher, and a full size refrigerator, plus all the things you would need to prepare a meal and clean up after yourself. They also had an area where you can rent out board games and DVDs, and a little area that had snacks and beverages. Someone did snag the die out of the one game I chose, but that was easy to handle. The staff was very diverse, and everyone was friendly and helpful. I don't usually stay in that particular area when I visit AL, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone staying close to the Homewood area of Birmingham. I would definitely stay again.

Awesome place to spend the night. Front desk staff (Martha) was so nice/helpful. Really enjoyed my stay. Lots of eateries nearby. Easy to find off the interstate but still off the beaten path. Stay here! You'll be happy.

We stayed here due to health conditions and had to stay new UAB hospital for 4 plus weeks. The staff were all wonderful, friendly and always very helpful. The room and all areas were clean and neat. Great place to stay.

I've stayed here before and love this property. The staff is always friendly and helpful here. I took off one star on this stay because of an odor in the room which I suspect was a cooking experiment from the guest before me.

Nice clean rooms, full of ammenities. It might have been nice not to have the front desk call at 12:30 a. M. When we had to be up at 4 a. M.

The Suites are very nice and well cleaned. The kitchen is stocked with all the basic stuff you need for a short stay. The beds are a little bit firm for my taste. But in this sweet there are two TVs one in the bedroom and one in the living room. Internet is pretty decent I was able to bring my Xbox and play both rocket league and the division rocket league did have a little bit of lag.

Staff is very friendly. They offer a cupboard where you can purchase snacks, drinks, and personal items. They also have a lending locker where you can borrow games and appliances. The workout room is nice and there is on site free laundry. Would definitely recommend for someone seeking an extended stay!

Location was great, room was clean and well maintained and staff was super friendly. Overall great place.

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel and could not have more delighted. Although we did not use any of the kitchen appliances/pots/pans or dishes, they were available and clean. Room was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. Plenty of room to stretch out in the recliner or at the large desk for computer work. Bathroom was extremely spacious and like the room, spotless with plenty of nice soft fluffy towels. The pantry in the lobby we did not use but had we needed anything, it was there. The idea of borrowing items from the lobby (crockpot, toaster, blender etc. ) was an excellent extra, we did not have a need. The outside of the property is well kept and nicely groomed. The location is close to multiple restaurants and shopping. The staff, from the front desk to room caretakers, were absolutely down right friendly, helpful and when we needed an extra pack of coffee, they offered to deliver it right to our room in less than 5 minutes. They were there in less than 2. My next trip to that area, you can find me at the Candlewood Suites Nice job Candlewood Suites Staff and thank you for a great time.!

It was a nice hotel and met our needs well. The staff was nice at check in and we were even provided with a map of restaurants in the area. All in all this was one of the better experiences at a hotel we have had as a family.

I stayed at this property from May — November 2015. If you are looking for a clean, quiet spot with professional and courteous staff, this is it. Great part of town, restaurants and shopping close by. Housekeeping staff will make your room feel like a brand new room every week. Pantry is well stocked and staff will add whatever you need added. Great outdoor sitting area with two gas grilles. Free washer and dryer folks… need I say more? This is MY extended stay hotel of choice in Birmingham for this SPIRE ELITE.

Very Nice Hotel, probably the nicest hotel room I've been in. I've stayed at $200.00 a night hotels in Chicago and the rooms didn't even come close to this. I would definitely stay here again.

I have been staying here for the past month and a half. I have had great service and very nice people at desk. Highly recommend!
