Always a great stay here. I love the rooftop bar and the view of the city.

Paid for valet parking so I would not get “towed” just for valet to park my vehicle down a alleyway with no cameras & have my windows busted out. I just don’t get how you can charge valet & have no way to protect ones vehicle. Hotel said the valet service was separate service. Called the valet service and all they could do was take the valet charge off. Two weeks and it’s still charged to my card. So unless you like your windows busted out and belongings stolen I would not recommend this place to stay.

Dinner & cocktails were great! Great scenery overlooking the city from the roof top bar.

Great Old Lady in the heart of downtown Birmingham! A very elegant home away from home for a special nights stay or extended stay. Wonderful roof top bar that over looks the Birmingham skyline. Big to be missed! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love to come here to relax and get drinks at the Roof. It's a wonderful experience and the view is nice. I usually get a suite and they're definitely spacious. The receptionist is always so nice and she has a great attitude.

Being remodeled, pretty nice, great service, nice coffee shop, nice places to eat within walking distance.

I recommend no to stay here and if you do check your balance because I was charged $40.69 for buffet that I didn't use and my girlfriend was charged $40.69 two times and they refused to refund her money something. Is going on … sounds like a scam. Talked to the hotel manager after was given 3 different stories why we were charged $123 for buffet that no one used will not stay here anymore calling corporate asap!

The Roof Top Bar is so fun! The staff are so skilled and friendly! I took my out of town guests there to get a beautiful view of Birmingham!

Beautiful little downtown hotel! Valet was super friendly along with the whole staff we encountered. Room was clean, spacious, beautiful large windows with views of downtown. Only stayed one night but would definitely recommend!

My daughter and I stayed this recent weekend for a concert. She is 7 and the staff was so attentive to her also and made her feel special. It was our first time staying there and we enjoyed the entire experience. Everyone was so helpful! Thank you so much!

A nicely renovated hotel. Guest services are great. Amenities and proximity to other downtown amenities is good.

So this hotel has got not only customer service nailed down but the mea culpa if they screw up. We got here about 4:30 yesterday and the rooms weren’t cleaned or ready. They were gracious about it, upgraded the room, gave us free drinks at the bar and free breakfast. Room was great slept like a baby. This morning I get a card, personalized, slipped under my door. An apology accepting their mistake and dedication to improve. Being in the customer service industry I was very impressed on how they turned a negative experience into a positive one! Great job and as a result I’ll stay here again next time I’m in town.

Wonderful experience, lovely hotel!
My absolute best experience at the Redmont was with the valet staff. The gentleman Carlos meet me on day one as I pulled up to the hotel. He opened the door for me, took my luggage from my car to my room, got ice for me, and asked if he could do anything else for me. The next day when he seen me he remembered my name. The other gentleman on the valet staff was the exact same as him. Each one I encountered remembered me by name, gave me exact directions to where to get my car tire fixed, asked and gave daily suggestions and directions of places to eat. Always smiling, always interacting, always quick to be helpful. If you ever want to experience what professionalism and customer service is, the valet staff at the Redmont is the place to go.

My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night and had an awful experience. Not only was the bartender rude and unable to make a basic cocktail, when we went up to our room at the end of the night we got a call from the front desk after midnight asking if it was Lauren's room. I said no it wasn't and the staff member said "well she's at the desk here and wants to come in. " Still don't know what that is about. I don't think the hotel staff should be phoning random rooms after midnight to ask for information they probably have in their booking system, and that struck me as really amateurish. For the amount we paid for that tiny room (with no view), I expected a much better experience. And I hate that these are the memories I have of my wedding night. I tried to contact a manager about this before posting a review and never received a response.

Good experience, albeit more "leisurely laid back" than this northerner is used to when dining out. Food was prepared nicely overall; I will say that my pork loin would have been a hair better if it was closer to medium or medium rare than the well done it came out, but it still remained juicy and had great flavor. The flatbread appetizer was delicious and the peach cake for desert was very tasty, despite an ice cream substitution due to Murphy's Law in the kitchen. This is a nice place to dine when you want to hang out, talk about serious (or not serious things) with your fellow diners and not feel rushed. The staff was also focused on our satisfaction.

The Redmont is truly a jewel in the city of Birmingham's crown. We've been to the Hotel now on more than one occasion and found the staff from the valet to the front desk to the hostess at Harvest, to the wait staff and the bartenders in the lobby bar to The Roof all extremely friendly, helpful and on top of their game. We recently celebrated a friend's birthday at Harvest and our server, Robin was exceptionally wonderful. The sous chef even came out to check on our experience! The food was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. Harvest is now one of our favorite Birmingham restaurants and The Roof is one of our favorite bar experiences… you can't beat The Roof's ambience. Everyone should go and experience The Redmont!
