We had to cancel our booking of 1 night because the car got a flat tire on the way, I kindly asked for a refund. They didn't because they didn't have time to sell our room, but was told we could stay there within 4 months on that booking. When we arrived they offered to give us the best room and free minibar without extra cost. This above and beyond anything I expected even from good service. This really saved the day after spending a day in the wrong place and a few hundred Euros on a tire repair in France. Would absolutely recommend this place and if hotel staff is reading, again thank you so much!

Best hotel good staff best location reception lady so nice.

Expensive, well located, tiny rooms. You stretch sideways or you take over the walls. A nice detail of the free beer and water from the room we got.
The best thing is its location, very close to the city center, well connected by tram at the same door.

This place marked me with the welcome and kindness of the staff at the reception. They were all very attentive and allowed us to feel a bit like home. It has become rare these days to have such a beautiful and very human welcome.
Moreover, the location is perfect because very close to the central station.
I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel has a central 1a location in Zurich. During the stay there were several wow effects starting from the cordial and professional greeting of George. Within a short time we were well supplied with insider tips.
The rooms are newly refurbished and top modern equipped. The view from the rooms on the 6th floor is the absolute madness.
The Royal Hotel Zurich has won a new fan.

Wow. The hotel is totally renovated. Everything fresh. You even still smell the new colour ;-) I always stay in this hotel when I am in Zürich. Is it a super place. The hotel is situated right in the centrum of Zürich.

Bathroom is very small, there is no kettle also in room, even bedroom and bed also very small. But only advantage is you will get direct trams to Zurich airport no : 10 and no : 6 to zoo just infront of hotel. For Indians there is a Bombay Karachi hotel for food he will give the parcel also if required. Breakfast is worst in this hotel even very small dining hall hardly 4 tables are available we were waiting for table for 15 minutes. Ploybhan is also near by to visit the Eth university. There is no single super market near to the hotel. I have walk down almost 1.5 km to reach the coop super market which is located in Zurich Hb station.

It is not comfort neither royal. Old fashion not refublished.

Clean quiet and the food was good. The ladies at the desk we're friendly. The men not so much. No bellpeople to help with luggage. Not handicap accessible. One person on staff at a time​.

Very good and stable internet conection. Friendly staff. Small bar area. It's more like a budget hotel very close to ETH university. TV is quite small and difficult to use with the internal menu. Nice bed, it was quite warm in the bedroom. The breakfast is OK.

The location of the hotel is really great. A few minutes from the main train station, the comfort is Royal Hotel between the Limmat and University. In the old town (Niederdorf are also steps (about 3 minutes). Right in front of the door also the tram to Central station is — two stations. We have booked through the website of the hotel and had a nice room with a panoramic view over the city.
We return like during our next visit to Zurich.

It is really a nice hotel in the city of Zurich. The rooms are somewhat small, this beautifully furnished and it has all you need. The hotel is really very centrally located, Zurich's main train station is only 3 minutes ' walk away, are located in close proximity to the old town and the "Niederdorf" output mile. Room rates are very reasonable for Zurich. You again.

Good hotel, breakfast only slightly annoying.
