(Not for business travellers. ) No iron or ironing board available, so seemingly low price and walkable location to Zurich Central station is a trap. Ibis is a much better hotel. PROs + 5min walk to the supermarket Coop, Migros and Danner + seemingly cheap + friendly staff + accepts American Express + room service even + long mirror in room, but due to dark lights it's pointless CONs — very unreliable and unsafe Wi-Fi that needs to be reset and rebooted several times per day I had to go to the public library 10min on foot to do my work. — awful Swiss power sockets are loose, whoobly, unsafe and inefficient — lots of road noise even until late at night due to poorly isolated windows and old wooden frames — no iron nor ironing board, so you either turn on the shower and steam our clothes while gently wiping out creases with your hands while the, hang next to the shower, or you go to dry cleaners the next day — dark rooms with dark 1950s colours and ugly wallpapers — inefficient, inconsistent, weak and energy-wasting lights They urgently, need Philips LED lights with 2800-3200 Kelvin temperature — no central console to turn all lights off, so you need to turn off 4 dark lights — dirty floors that need better vacuum cleaning — paperthin walls — very uncomfortable, thin and old bed.

Nice little hotel just in the outside of the old town. Very close to the main train station. The design of the hotel is focused around art and artists. Breakfast was mostly standard fare, aside from the fresh croissants. The room was somewhat lacking in power sockets — — I had to unplug the fridge to have one near the bedside. The washroom light didn't work at first, but then suddenly turned on when the main room light was turned off. Might be too much power usage for the same circuit.

The hotel was pretty old. Our room was very spacious, yet the furniture was antique. Tv was good, with various channels from several european countries. Wifi was good. There was a beautiful view of the river from the room. The hotel is located in the center of Zurich, close to all the must-see atrractions, the train station, stores and restaurants, nevertheless it is not recommended for quiet and silence lovers. Staff was kind, skilled and helpful. Breakfast was scanty and meager and therefor not recommended, even though it was fairly cheap.

The hotel is pleasant, but not outstanding. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is clean and recently renovated. The location is exception to explore Zurich. The transportation links are close by, and it is easy to walk to shopping and food districts. There was construction while we stayed at the hotel, that was somewhat annoying. Further, the television did not work during our stay — but don't let that put you off. It is worth staying.

This small hotel is a pearl — family run, and the atmosphere is accordingly pleasant. It is a no-frills hotel: rooms are small (but cozy), breakfast is manageable (but delicious and perfectly adequate — — very good coffee! ), staff is unexcited (but friendly). Unbeatable are location and value for money (for people like me anyway who don't need 1000 features in a hotel)

A super charming establishment with smoking rooms, an authentic, generous owner and arguably Zurich's most competent and nettest receptionist. Such an inexpensive hotel in such a central location in the money city of Zurich — nice that this still exists!

Kleine, aber feine Zimmer. Alles sehr unkompliziert und das Personal ist sehr freundlich! Frühstück hätte win bisschen reichhaltiger sein können. Preislich ok, für Zürich! Lage Top! 10 Gehminuten von der Bahnhofstraße entfernt!

They are bloody cheaters, they store the credit card details and then use it as per their wish and charge even without the stay. No complains or justification are heard by them, as there is no higher authority to listen to the complains. The manager is completely irresponsible, mostly he is not there at the hotel, he is just for name sake. Have stayed there for 2 trips, was no problem till then, but they charged on my other card used for the 1st time on their own even after I had paid the entire amount while I checked out, now nobody is answering from there side. They have a ok ok hotel and though the rates are very high compared to the best hotel near them. I stayed there as it had a good view, but no good staff, no good Breakfast or food, no good maintenance and no good decor. Be very careful and please don't give your credit card details online. They also change their policy as per their convenience, sometimes they say cancellation is before 2 days of arrival and then all of a sudden they say full charges and no cancellation. They are very unreliable and they have kids working there, with no experience. When I call from my country the charges are very high and though they don't reply well and if we email they respond after days, nobody followups with the email. Have traveled the world, but never got such a bad experience ever, that too with a hotel in Switzerland. Unfortunately there is nobody to help from my country and nor is there anybody to whom I can complain there.

The bar is lobby, the staff is so nice and it provide printing service.

Small, old rooms, but I loved it. It's close to everything that's interesting in the old town of Zurich, and to both the train station and tram main lines. It has a nice view on the river, and a nice coffe bar/reception.

Modern hotel with a great vibe, friendly staff and exceptional views…

Small and fine. Modern, tasteful — and lovingly renovated to 90% in the heart of the city.
Beds very good, breakfast clear but adequate.
Recommended for non-unpretentious normal earners when the currently running renovation work is completed.

The hotel Limmat view was convincing with its unusual design. The lobby processes influences from the steampunk and can be described as imaginative. The location of the hotel is good and in a few minutes you are within walking distance of the train station.
The price is reasonable for the central location.
The staff is very friendly and always helpful.
Only the rooms did not completely convince me. Especially the toilet/shower could have been more cared for. That doesn't mean it was just too dirty. They were rather small things like the order and the general condition of the furniture.
All in all I can recommend the hotel Limmat view and would expect any of the not necessarily upscale atmosphere, but something rather unusual addiction, an overnight stay in the hotel Limmat view suggest.

It's not the best of cleanliness, and the price like everything in Zurich is not cheap. The undoubted advantage is the location very close to the station.

Excellent location. Just right for a Stopover. The bathroom accessories are of quality but the design can be better. The host is friendly n helpful. It’s near the river n may hv some good views. The traffic noise is bearable too. Recommend.

Chambre correcte, lit confortable. Petite salle de bain. Service adéquat. Très bonne ambiance. Just un petit couac avec la réservation mais le personnel à tout fait pour se rattraper. Excellent séjour globalement.

This hotel has no AC. Other than that it's wonderful and worth the money.

Rooms are small, but comfortable. The hotel is located right on the Limmat River and is central to just about everything in Zurich's Old Town. Very easy to walk to many of the attractions as well as various bars and restaurants.

Decoration of the hotel and bar downstairs are amazing, but the hotel could use an update. Without air conditioning the room was extremely warm, and unfortunately the water under the shower cold.

The location is very good (close to station). The room is very small and it's very very hot in summer (my room is on 4th floor, it looks like the roof floor). It's too hot that I can't even sleep in night. It's like a oven. It's very horrible…

The location is the best part of this hotel. I would only stay here if the price is right. There isn't anything overly special about it. The rooms were a bit on the smaller side but pretty standard for a Swiss hotel. The staff was friendly and everyone spoke decent English. On a positive note the place is fairly quiet even though it is centrally located.

Excellent people. Fine arts hotel. Delicious home made pastry. It's perfect for a quick getaway or business trip. Very tasteful stucco Pompeii work. I recommend it specially while 100 years dada celebration!

Bad, stressed and unfriendly service.

The first thing that comes to mind when thinking about hotel Limmatblick is excellent value for money. It is very central — close to most of Zurich's old city attractions and the main train station. It is clean and our room had a wonderful and romantic river view. The staff are very friendly; when we got to the hotel, we were welcomed by the manager who provided us with a Zurich city guide in our own language and some useful tips for sightseeing. Breakfast was rich with some delightful Swiss cheeses that provides you with energies for a full day of activities in Zurich. Either if you are planning to stay in Zurich or see the surrounding — I surely recommend it.

The hotel's location in this way, traffic comparison facilitate, but spring state is also increasingly clogged. Before in, this time into the Live experience. It's internal facilities a bit old but still pretty clean and the prices reasonable.
