A beautiful hotel, full of history, character and charm which could not be recreated. A super cocktail bar, great food and the winter garden, splendid. Sitting in Dam square, its worthy of a long stay. We loved it, you will too. Spacious and modern, boutique in design, the staff are fantastic. I would rate it a five. I'll be back.

Lovely hotel with a perfect location. It is right outside Dam — perfect location to walk around anywhere or take the tram. Breakfast was amazing with great selection of eggs, fruits, bread and cakes. Bed was very comfy. They have a good selection of pillows, too. Bathroom is well appointed but it was a bit dark to shave. Overall, it is a very good hotel and I would recommend it to any fellow traveler.

By far one of the best hotels! If I could give 6 stars, I would. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Beautifully appointed, modern decor that carries historic elements throughout the meeting rooms and guest quarters. A fresh feel and the air quality inside is fantastic. Sunlight streaming in the windows (even on a lower floor). Perfect location across from the palace and square. Close to everything. You will not be disappointed.

Great great great hotel! We keep coming back, because the hotel is amazing, the staff is SUPER nice, helpful, and extremely professional! We came back to Amsterdam to celebrate my husband's birthday, and got an upgrade of our room, balloons, a small sweet gift, and maximum satisfaction. The breakfast was a little expensive, so did not eat there every day, but when we did, it was rich, fresh, yummy, very good variety of options, yummy smoothies, very good freshly made omlet, and good bread. And of course the most important thing is the LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION There is NO better location to stay in when you come to Amsterdam, and I lived in the city for a few years, so I know what I'm talking about… Highly highly recommend.

Once again, great NH collection chain shows it's standards. The location is amazing. Just on Dam square. We have upgraded our room to have the view of the square, and it was just stunning. The ONLY minus for that stay would be lack of heating in the room. The AC was ok, but I would have expect more in mid Feb. Cold.

This is Thzt a palace… Possibly Un4 star Factory Hotel… Prefer the hotel of Europe it's incomparable!

It wasn't expected. I don't think we're back, too expensive for what it is. Tiny room. Very good breakfast. 1. €500 6 nights with breakfast, not worth it.

Pro: — Comfortable bed — main light can be dimmed pleasantly — hotel in itself is already — super location — heated mirrors in the bathroom contra: — Cleaning lady disturbs although please do not Disturb shield hangs — furniture is warped. Drawers can only be opened and closed by force.
— Light in the bathroom brightens the whole room. Night on the toilet only goes in the dark or one awakens his partner with the light.
— the biggest minus point, the hotel is noisy. Step, shower, whistle, laughter can be heard through the ceiling. We had no sleep from three nights and were just being wheeled.
— Stronger cleaning odor in the room upon check in.
— Air conditioning could not be operated or we were too stupid for it — no-no call from the concierge to offer us anything, because we complained about the noise. (Awakened at midday) A fruit basket or something would have been more professional.
— No feedback sheet available to inform the hotel directly.
Conclusion: Next time there will be another hotel as the price performance is not at all true. The five stars don't bring anything.

Location, location, location! Right on the Damm square in Amsterdam! Walk to all kinds of fun and exciting establishments for food and entertainment! Great room appointments, big rooms, comfortable beds, nice TVs and the staff is friendly and helpful. They can arrange tours for you and give good recommendations on activities in the local area. I found it a great place for personal vacation and business both. It can be a bit noisy at times being right on a busy plaza, but it just depends what part of the hotel you’re in. Definitely a very upscale and attractive modern hotel in a historic building and area! Not inexpensive, but a decent value. Enjoy!

Lovely hotel, stay here not the first time and always happy. Just do not take the cheapest rooms, especially as there are often special promotions and offers available on Bukenge.
Convenient location Just do not come up. The rooms are spotlessly clean, light, stylish interior, quality equipped. Cosmetic set is worth to use, fragrant and delicate products.
In addition to the usual rooms, there are apartments (bedroom, shower, kitchenette and dishwasher, stove, oven, refrigerator), we have friends there and stayed-had a great evening, mentally, as at home.
Breakfast and dinner are no longer here. First of all, the coffee machine and kettle are right in the room, and coming out of the hotel, near you dozens of restaurants and cafes for every taste and budget.

Although it is categorized with 5 stars, the qualification criterion is not uniform with the South American. In Argentina it would be a 4-star Superior.
In matrimonial room there was only one light table.
Service: Very good, but not with the price (no buttons, for example) but compensates with the high quality of amenities.

Well but for the price, a small effort of standing and renovating the rooms of the second building would be nice. The entrance is however beautiful as well as the staff!

I was one night in this magnificent hotel. Beautiful room with all the comforts in the center on Dam Square. The staff at the front desk were kind and very helpful. For any information at the front desk they are very prepared. We speak now of the spectacular breakfast if you are staying in the hotel you have to have breakfast is stratospheric. What else to say I will stay here again. Thank you to all the staff of the hotel to make us happy customers thanks to all and merry holidays.

Clean and very well located but totally overpriced. Rooms are rather 2 than 5 stars and the big disappointment was the breakfast room. The large glass dome room is not for the hotel guests — instead you sit in a large hall that exudes the ambiance of a station hall.

I had a wonderful stay here in July 2017, as part of a business trip to Amsterdam. The service was stellar: friendly, but attentive and professional. The building itself is beautiful and in very good repair. The winter garden where breakfast is served is especially nice. I can also recommend the cafe to the front of the hotel for a quick lunch. My experience was only impacted by the noise from downstairs — my room overlooked a bar and this kept me awake. If I'd been staying longer, I would have asked to move. I'd definitely recommending the Krasnapolsky for anyone wanting to stay centrally in Amsterdam.

Stayed for a long weekend Saturday — Monday. Well decorated and modern hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Upon check-in I was told that I had been chosen to be the lucky winner of a room upgrade (suite which had a view directly onto dam square) and free breakfast during my stay free of charge! Our room wasn't ready as it was 11:00 and check in was at 15:00, but we we're allowed to leave our luggage with the concierge whilst we roamed the city. The hotel is right on dam square so there is easy access to all parts of town. Room was very clean and well decorated, no complaints at all. Breakfast was amazing, huge selection buffet style and a chef who will also cook to order. Would 100% stay again.
