The worst hotel ever! I would rate it — 10 if I could! At almost 34 degrees no AC available at all ; suites were more like a studio than a suite. 2 Fans in the room supposed to cool down the absence of an AC; though we were sweating of even so. Staff was not helpful at all. We check out straight away and they were rather irritated about this than helpful. Worst experience ever! I am not sure how this hotel got 4 stars rating. Whatever you do, don't destroy your holiday by sitting there!

Very good location for the metro, and therefore as a hub for Rotterdam. Room was very large and included a small pseudo kitchen (fridge, sink, kettle and coffee pod machine, however there was no tea/coffee station so we weren't able to make much use of these). All in all a decent place that I would likely use again.

Clean, accommodating, super Room (studios with mini kitchenette). Really good.

Beautiful hall, nice atmosphere. Family room taken for us. A little disappointed by the bathroom, a shower with curtains… Artistic room number.

Structure a bit out of the center but close to public transport and Metro. Large and spacious rooms, equipped with microwave, kettle and fridge, which give you the possibility to have breakfast or cmq eat in the room if you want. Clean and friendly Hotel The restaurant/brewery offers kitchen service until 23.00 But the room is open until 01.00 in the morning, if you want to drink a beer.

The hotel is nice although a little dated. We had a rather spacious and clean family room. The mattress was very firm, a treat.
We park easily and free of charge downstairs from 6pm to 9am… But be careful to 9:01 the flashy car goes lol. I went down to 8:50 to pay for the parking lot. The timestamp was not working naturally. The next is 800m… and was not working either, the joke! By the time I made the return trip, to see with the hotel how to do, I had already been flashed. Luckily I ran into the maintenance guys who took my PV off the list…
of memory C is 1.6 L hour and we pay in slices of 50cts.
Otherwise the area is sad but the hotel is right in front of a subway which allows to reach the center in a few minutes.

Neighbourhood, in my opinion, quiet full of North Africans or blacks.
I went around even the night alone and did not feel it fi danger of being observed.
Go quietly you will be satisfied.

The hotel location is good near the metro sataion one minute only. The service is not bad the check in was good. The indoor decorations was unique and full of art. Have restaurant inside the hotel have good options. The cleaning not bad but could be better. Overall it's recommended.

Short stay, late night check in. Spacious rooms with a little kitchenette. Comfortable bed. Good value for money. Nice interior on the ground floor.

Terrible service, booking got cancelled 2 days before the expected arrival. I had to rebook and pay €20, — extra for the same room/date. When you walk into the hotel there is a weird smell, everything seems and smells kind of old. Also, the rooms did not make a great impression. The couch was dirty and had marks that looked like cigarette burns. The windows are dirty, which ruins the view that by itself is quite nice. All together a not so good experience. Do yourself a favour and pick another hotel that does not ruin your stay in this city.

Worst mattress ever slept on in our lives. Could not pay me the rate we payed to stay again. Countless hotels in my life and never once have I asked to switch rooms. Hotel was fully booked and no solutions were offered. After several attempts to get a hold of management the last two weeks, I’ve been completely ignored. My girlfriend and I felt completely scammed to give them money and allow us to sleep on those things they called beds. I weigh 58.1 kilos (128 pounds) and had springs jabbing me. We woke up with necks and backs that felt broken. Forget the kitchen with no cups or utensils, the couch with stains all over it, coffee maker with no coffee, the giant sticker on our window promoting a local tattoo business, or no air conditioning. People come to hotels to sleep. If you have no other options, avoid room 1016 and hope for a miracle.

I spent a delightful weekend at this nice hotel in Rotterdam. Comfortable bed. A little high the air conditioner I could not regulate, but you can open the Vendon. To a bit (outside was horribly cold). Clean and good room service. On the first floor, there's a restaurant. I can't tell if the dishes were OK because we didn't eat there but the atmosphere and the décor as in the rest of the hotel is great. Very close to the entrance is a metro stop, two minutes walking. Paid Parking in the street.

The person is friendly, the reception 24/7 occupied. Hotel-bar/restaurant opened from 09.00 — 01.00.
The rooms are very clean, they also have a nice view. In addition to a bathroom, in the entrance area of the room there is a small kitchen with fridge, sink & working area.

It's very clean and the beds are comfortable.

Very good hotel, located near by the downtown. Thirty minutes walk to center and 10 minutes by tram. Amazing view of the upper floors. There is restaurant, breakfast on buffet, lunch and dinner on a-la-cart. Hotel has underground parking, but during my visit wasn't available.

Not terrible, poor restaurant… Four stars?

The facilities are very bad, old, poorly maintained and of poor quality, but the worst with much difference has been the deal, nothing else to arrive and to give our ID, we say it is not worth, we give them the reservation number. We tell them that we are a group, that almost half of this arrives first and is already hosted and that now we only need one of us to pick up the room, the answer is that no reservation number nothing at all.
From there an endless of unwanted, a couple of girls younger Echandonos from there, we take off the reception, we look for our reservation, or you can not do anything, all bad faces, bad gestures and no intention to fix anything. Since it was very easy to do, the reservation was made and paid for the whole group, we said several times that was done by the English court and that we are a sports federation, as there were others already housed, that our companions is also housed, not Explain some reason why some if, no reservation number, and others do not.
Total, lost time, great anger, great frustration, to the end without any problem give us the rooms and let us stay without more.
I'm pregunning, why?, how can they treat you like this in a reception of a Hotel, where you pay to stay and have a good service to rest?.
I would definitely not stay here again, and I don't advise anyone to do it, really unpresentable.

Ideally located for travel into Rotterdam centre, easy to find local shops. Restaurant not bad either!

Interesting hotel. Sorry, no sale of postage stamps or postcards. The loo in my room had to be closed outside.

Very nice view over Rotterdam. Cleaning in the hotel let it down a little. Tram stop outside the front door, or about a 30 minute walk into the centre. Friends from Rotterdam tell as it's in a bad neighborhood, but they not been able to tell as a good neighborhood yet.

It is great I loved the traditional decoration with boie heating in a fireplace in waiting room.

Price and location are unbeatable. Staff was very friendly and parking was right outside the hotel. The Germans should not always nag with everything, if you really want such a high standard, so that you are treated like royalty, then simply pay the 10x. If you can't afford it, bad luck. But stop writing extremely negative reviews about unnecessary trifles that you see as half the world's downfall.

Nice clean hotel. Rooms have fridge, microwave, kettle. Lounge had the most beautiful fireplace and its right next to station food shops and coffeeshoo.

An old 4-star. The hotel is nice. Great location for the means so a good base to shoot a huge city like Rotterdam. The rooms are quite comfortable. Not bad value for money.

Lack of obvious cleanliness, pseudo apartments with a pike and a meaningless extractor in the room, first night without any hygienic element in the bathroom, few blankets, indifferent staff, if the Waldorf Astoria has 5 stars this cannot have 4 or very much Less.

Great room. Kitchenette ac Kettle and mug. Very clean. Very good breakfast. 5arret from Metro downtown. Right in front of a metro stop.

Cant recommend this hotel. Rooms were really cold. Internet was very slow and you have to login again everytime you use your phone. The room had a microwave, coffeemachine and a water boiler but only 4 glasses. Does this make any sense? Also two lights were not working And a women from the hotel just entered my room right after she ringed the doorbell without me opening the door. It seems like the hotel management doesn‘t even care about their own rooms. Where am I here? Really bad hotel and bad service!

Central location with Metro station on the doorstep. The room was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful. In total there are hotels with the same number of stars which are much more chic to my liking. However, the style is something specifically different from what I have never seen before. In effect, it is a matter of taste. From the price-performance ratio I will book the hotel again when I travel to Rotterdam again.

SOME of the Restaurant staff were rude to my whole party for all 5 days we were here. The coldest reception from all of the 6 hotels we stayed in. If your view faces the city centre keep your window shut because at 7am the factory opposite wakes up and it's loud.

Convenient location in front of the tram stop. I used it as a point of support for the stadium.

The bathroom is minimalist but overall the rooms are comfortable. Convenient as connections (opposite there is the Metro), comfortable the lobby.

Nice hotel with cosy bar. Unfortunately, in my room the window seemed to be broken so it was robbed. It moved a bit and was also not as 100% sound proof. In addition, the heating only worked at untraceable times. The bathroom was spacious with shower and bathtub, hot water was enough. Unfortunately the hotel does not have its own parking spaces. However, there were public parking spaces in front of the hotel.

The furniture is old and you can see it. The carpet was full of stains and our room had a weird old smell. If the old Frosty Flakes we found in a drawer, were included in the overpriced room is another question?! Staff was not friendly and didn't took any criticism. We also had the feeling that we weren't in a good neighborhood. Art Hotel? — more like 'We mix a bunch of stuff together and call it art'

The hotel is not so poorly located and the district of Zuid actually invites you to discover another Rotterdam, beyond the travel guide, and yet be within a few minutes on the spots of the city.
I seem to have had bad luck with my room. The windows looked like a liquid from the upper floors was struck there. The walk-in shower is quite wonderful, but I also did not manage to put the bath under water, using different techniques.
To my amazement, the doors close so loud that it becomes disturbing in the course of an evening and can tear people out of this with light sleep.
Finally, the hotel was at a rate of about €50 per night but in a reasonable price-performance ratio.

Forgotten objects disappear and block you not to communicate in Booking.
We forgot an object of great value on the bedside table in the room and coming back for it, two hours later having left the hotel, had already cleaned the room and our object was gone.
Although the hotel management did like it helped to look for the object, it didn't show up.
We called the Dutch police and the Spanish consulate and they made us wait at the entrance of the hotel until the police arrived. The hotel only thought about moving away from the entrance so people wouldn't know what was going on.
When the police arrived, they made us leave but the hotel members hid us again so that people could not see what was happening. As the police did not understand us, it was the hotel who spoke with them preventing us from giving our version of the facts, finally left without doing anything and saying that another day we went to the police station to denounce the disappearance, that day could not attend.
Watching the performance of the hotel and the police, I finally realized that I would never see my object again and no one would do anything for pay me back.
The hotel says that if it appears they will warn us, I hope it is true and publish it here, but until that happens the reality is that this hotel to Hurtado an object of great value and have done everything possible to hide it and not return it.

It's a really perfect place to have not expensive night near to the center of city. The view from 12 floor is beautiful, the support was really nice and helpful. 50 meters from hotel is Maashaven metro station.

I enjoyed my stay. Just review the booking terms.

Total lack of professionalism while we go there 5 in a short time and these are vokeurs… 4000euro of Currencies Mac m interested was stolen at the reception.

Simply wonderful Hotel! Comfortable rooms with spectacular views, mine was on the tenth floor and you could see all over Rotterdam. The décor is warm and cozy style, you are well right away.

Hotel well served by public transport and not very far from the centre (40min for those who like to walk).

Good location. No car park, but its 17 euros all day on the street next to hotel. Room is OK, bit dirty carpet. 3 star hotel but they say it's 4

Easy to find, plenty of shops around, plenty of street parking and it's free overnight. Rooms are nice and big and equipped with a kitchen which is great if you are staying with kids.

The suite is really inexpensive, clean hotel and very well decorated, better than I expected, and the metro station is 20 meters (not a picture, it is really at the gates of the subway). Moreover the neighborhood is alive, there is even a supermarket open 24/24 if you have forgotten something.
Ideal for those who know Rotterdam and wish an eccentric hotel but less than 5 minutes from the centre in transport.
Personally for the price, offer you a suite, they are well worth the money!

Everything good, except one of the nights, they forgot to make my room. I like the art decor being in line with the theme of the hotel.

Good value for money. Stayed here one night and found the staff to be accommodating, rooms clean and the kitchen work top area was useful to have. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel does not deserve these 4stars. Quite far from the centre but easily accessible by public transport.
The staff are not very friendly. The decoration and cleanliness are very basic. Only the view is really worth a visit.

The Art Hotel Rotterdam presents itself as a simple and welcoming hotel. The area where it is located is a bit peripheral, but you can easily reach all the points of reference by public transport or bicycles. As for public transport, there is a stop practically underneath the hotel, while as far as bicycles are concerned, there are cycle paths everywhere, like the rest of the Netherlands after all. Returning to the hotel I can say that the rooms are furnished with the bare minimum, it seems there is no air conditioning but at least during the summer it is not too hot and in addition the bed is comfortable.

Very nice hotel. Perfect location and very friendly staff.
