Excellent service and very rich breakfast 😋

Good service at breakfast, the food is rich and they are very friendly, clean rooms.

The service is very good, the rooms comfortable and clean. Bed linen very well. It is quite economical and offers quite a lot. It has a really rich breakfast and generous trinket, they have improved a lot since the first time I visited them. Excellent cost-benefit ratio.

Terrible service are super rude the people the room was dirty did not give us towels and were bothered by all the front desk.

The customer service is lousy and not worth it.

Nice Hotel, not too expensive, but there's no iron and no minibar. Mattress are hard, so don't worry for back pain if you have it… This will help you. Hot water for shower and free breakfast… I recommend it…

Comfortable, really small TV, and controls don't work. The gym closes it very early and they open it very late, only 3 machines has treadmill and bike damaged only the body crunch serves.

A pesar de encontrarse en un lugar de fácil acceso, tienen un gym muy pobre y te cuesta bastante trabajo y tiempo poder ingresar al mismo. Y si nos referimos a la alberca, es muy pequeña con respecto al área que deberia cubrir. El área de restaurante le falta mayor diversidad en el aspecto de comidas. Ahora si lo que quieres es tomar cerveza a un costo accesible es el lugar correcto. Y el servicio es en general bueno.

Very good hotel for the price. Perfect to just get to sleep after a day of touring Playa del Carmen and its vicinity. The breakfast is very simple but it is understandable for the cost of the night. If there's anything to complain about, it would be the smell of the bathroom, but out of there, all perfect.

Excellent service and location easily accessible. A bit removed from the beach but nothing that does not make up for wanting to know the city. The staff is very attentive and help you to choose Tours giving options. It has pool although small but come on, pool on the beach? It has gym and breakfast services included. Really a good option to get to know Playa del Carmen.

Very clean rooms, very good breakfast but in the cable TV had explicit pornography and if you go with small children I recommend checking what they put on the TV plus it is away from Fifth Avenue. Very friendly staff.

Very good service, clean and not expensive.

It is a nice, comfortable hotel, from the entrance to the hotel you get a nice welcome, all those who work there are very polite. It has a small pool that has good depth signs, they have bunk beds and chairs. The hotel has a continental breakfast, which is coffee, juice, milk, cereal, fruit and bread, breakfast is served from 7:00 am to 10:30 am.

The location is excellent for those travelers who like to attend the ecotourism Park as it is located near the road that takes us to such places.
The rooms have the necessary for a good rest and comforts. My family considers the price to be the right one to the amenities that the hotel offers.
It is a shame to hear comments regarding the breakfast, as they say well it is a "courtesy of the hotel", if they wanted to go to a buffet should come to another type of hotel which their price would be up to triple the value per night that the Magic.
For us Magic Express has always been of our main options when we travel to Playa del Carmen, its staff always friendly, courteous and smiling.
On the other hand it would be very gratifying that the restaurant area will extend its service to the menu in breakfast hours, for those who like more than the mere courtesy.
✌ ️ continue to improve Magic Express and hiring people as friendly as they have done these years.

Beds like stone blankets limited humidity in the whole room… and to finish the pillows had padding of fabric. Horribly hard. A hotel disgust better stay at Hotel de Plano.

This is an honest review! Pros. Good price, good location, good parking, staff friendly and curtious, free continental breakfast. Cons: This hotel has a big problem with door noise. Every time anyone, including my self, and forget not to hold the door to close it slowly, slaaammm big noise across all room and that goes on and on a night long. First I thought people were angry fighting in the rooms, then it happen to me and realized, door make loud noise when they close by them selves it you do not hold them. Continental breakfast — — they could vary some. You get either papaya or melo, watermelon, plain yogourt, coffee or orange flavor fruit punch. Bread toast or sweet bread, and chocolate rice crispies. Every single day. No change. If you stay more than 2 days, you get sick of the same thing a very mourning. 30 pesos extra to use the safe. I was not explained that when I checked in. Wasted like 20 min trying to program it, not knowing that I needed to pay. It's not about price, it's about being informed. they did don't clean my room one day. And yes the sign was correct on the door. Please clean the room. Small things that can be fixed. Would I return? Not likely.

Clean, modern, spacious rooms, and even though I thought 1000 pesos for a room was a lot, I guess it's a good deal for Playa del Carmen. The only drawbacks were that the breakfast was just corn flakes, little pan ducles, and fruit slices, and the room was cold with no heat available. Oh and the TV was small. But besides that it was a great place to crash as long as you have transportation because it's not walking distance to any stores or restaurants.

Minus one in a matter of furniture a lot of noise. Q Even when in other abitations they go into the toilet c listen when they go down to the toilet and it's no joke I didn't come back but the staff's attention was good.

I stayed in the first floor by three nights and my experience was horrible. It smelled like humidity all the time and at the reception they were rude.

Very Good customer service. Major credit cards are accepted, it includes breakfast (from 7am to 10am). Rates are about 60 USD per night.
The room is clean, beds are comfortable, it has 24 "Color LCD TV, AC but thermostat doesn't work, even when I did set the AC to 80 ° F the room was at 62 °f. Bathroom and shower are clean/neat but I was able to see black mold on the drywall. Looks like maintenance just paints over the mold to fix it. Room has electronic door knobs and there is no beach view.
Wi-Fi is horrible, I was able to connect only at the room entrance but still gets interrupted constantly.

The room cost per night is approximately $1, 000 pesos the room is clean, the beds comfortable. It has a 24 inch LCD color TV, the air conditioner did not work the thermostat, it cooled to 18 even though I put it at 30 degrees. The bathroom is clean but it shows that there is mold in the drywall but only paint it to cover it. The locks are electronic, it has No sea view.
The Wi-Fi is Pesimo, the signal is only obtained by being at the entrance of the room and has interruptions at all times.

It is amazing place for budget. The service of breakfast it is so nice and delicious. The staff are incredible every is so helpful. Rooms are clean the cable service is great the web is good too.

Extremely friendly staff, front desk very good english. Clean and quiet location, only 20min walk or 3min taxi to 5th avenue (main tourist part and bars/nightclub scene) and only 25 min walk/3min + 1min walk to beach front. Only reason not 5* is that although food is very nice and great value for money not much variety of local cuisines. (predominately dishes are spaghetti/lasagna and baguette based) having said that breakfast is brilliant, very similar to continental Europe in that cereal/pastry and fresh fruit available.

The staff are very friendly and helpful as well especially the Reception ladies when me and my sister stayed there for one night. Room is clean and comfortable. Thankyou so much especially it was my sister first time in Mexico because she come from New Zealand. Playa del Carmen is beautiful too. Next time it might be a longer stay at your hotel. The hotel is pretty and modern, the only downside to it is that the restaurant service takes too long to fulfill your order.

They couldn't offer a crib nor a way to accommodate my baby. The front desk told me to move the beds and that's it! No hand towels, no extra blankets, no tissue paper… if you lose your key they charge you $20 pesos. It's a cheap hotel that charges you 50% more than others of its average kind.

Nice and clean small rooms, the bar is a little bit expensive for playa del Carmen considering the location it is not in the tourist area. The pool is small as well. It's very close to high tension cables in fact they go right over the pool.

The worst hotel I have been in my life, dirty pool bathroom without paper because they do not let you further, towels for the swimming pool have ke use of your room and then change them at the front desk. The bathroom too small in the sinks do not have space for nothing, the horrible TV programs prefer to see my Netflix. Ice this tool within the bar and had expected an employee serve you. You just offered two towels only and the floor, small bath towel nothing at all. Not had tapeworms ke face towels use toilet paper as the paper had just been more rapid.

I liked the room but all this away, and 8 pm both the restaurant and the pool are already closed.

Excelente hotel en Playa del Carmen. Muy centrico, a una cuadra de la carretera. El hotel es bueno, bonito y barrato. Excelente para negocios o para una estancia familiar. Recomendable.
