We visited the spa at Bric and it was an amazing experience. I received that Ancient Mayan Herbal Massage, a tropical detox body wrap and shirodhara head massage. The service was great and very relaxing. The rooms were tranquil and the atmosphere was calm. The body wrap was amazing for my skin and the therapist put me to sleep several times. Definitely worth a visit for quality massage.

Words do not adequately describe or paint the picture of my experience at Bric Spa. The experience can only be described as a "FEELING" and feelings are going to be different based upon what services/treatments you received. What I can speak on is "my feeling"; from the moment we entered we were literally swept away into another ZONE. The Vibe, Energy & Synergy in Bric Spa is so positive and organic, one can't help, but leave their troubles at the door.
My best friend and I came for the "Pamper Me Special" after seeing a small chalk board detailing the special outside of the hotel. The special included a full body scrub, 60-min massage and facial, the experience resulted in BLISS.
Sofia was my therapist and we she was perfection, my best friend had Myrna and she raved about her for days. Jacqueline the Spa Manager was our First Impression of Bric Spa and there is no better person for that role, she set the tone. I WILL be back again, in fact I will incorporate BRIC SPA into my monthly budget. Self care in today's world is no longer a luxury, it should be a requirement.

I had the most amazing spa experience today. I booked the pamper package with Maggs which turned out to be 120 minutes of pure bliss! A foot bath, all natural full body scrub made with guava, lime, and sugar, an aromatouch therapy massage and facial. I have never felt so pampered in my entire life. Maggs and the entire staff at Bric Spa were fabulous from the moment I walked in until the moment I left. Thank you for this wonderful treatment on my vacation!

It is a nice hotel very close to Quinta Avenida. The room is medium size and the bathroom is good size. The breakfasts are very nice but maybe a bit too small. One thing I didn't appreciate was the lack of electric connections, they were all used by the different artifacts in the room so it was a real pain just to charge my phone and computer at the same time. The staff was friendly. It has good value money-quality in general.

This is the second time staying at the Bric, and would do it again. Friendly and helpful staf2, doña Mary is a great cook, different breakfast every day. Steps away fro. 5ta. Ave. Clean and can't beat the price,.

Bric Hotel & Spa is such a gem! I loved how serene the place was even though it's near all the hustle and bustle of 5th avenue, it really felt like a little oasis. There are countless little shops and restaurants nearby and it's about a five minute walk to the beach. Every day you can have delicious breakfast freshly made in front of you which we loved (and was super cheap, maybe even included in the hotel bill). The rooms are nice and clean and the staff are all very friendly and professional and give great recommendations. I'd highly recommend this place for everyone.

I’ve now stayed twice at this charming hotel in Playa del Carmen. The staff are fantastic, the location is perfect and it feels like home when I am there! Rico and the rest of the staff are the reason I will be back for many more visits! Once again, an incredible stay at this quaint and charming hotel.

The place is very nice. The location is good, you are half a block from the 5th Avenue. You can go out and go back to the time you want there are always people. But in the day, if you drive in Combis to go to different beaches or cenotes, you have to walk a few blocks to the terminal. It is located 10 blocks approx.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is varied, delicious, abundant and homemade. Excellent.

Great hotel and staff. The accommodations are clean and well kept; housekeeping does a great job. Complimentary daily breakfast is good, unless you don't like eggs (almost everything had eggs in it). Close to 5th, shopping, restaurants, and the beach — an ideal location. The price is right too. Will be back!

Very nice hotel. Morning breakfast is delicious and the staff are accommodating and friendly. Although it is half a block off of 5th it is very quiet at night. I would recommend this and plan on coming back next year.

It was my first time in a spa in Mayan Riviera, I had an amazing experience, very professional and very affordable! Jacqueline was loving and carring person! I will recommend to anyone who likes pamped! My pedicure was beautifuly done! Thank you for the wondeful experience!

A cosy hotel, ideal for adults travelling alone or in small groups. Located in the North area, steps from the fifth and steps away from everything you need for an excellent stay. The reception service is first class and the rooms are equipped with everything you need.

Very typical. Very clean. Warm welcome. Price of the rooms very affordable. The pool and spa + the Maya massages on the 2nd floor are a plus. Located 100m from the Qinta Av. The main shopping street of Playa del Carmen This hotel does not have the disadvantages of the avenue. He's quiet and we can't hear the noise of the party boys.
The concierge is very available and can arrange sightseeing tours negotiated. … The Qinta's varied restaurants are close by. I would recommend it and it is not only in the city center but 5 minutes from the beach.

We pay the most and get the worst. We booked our delux room four month before we arrived. Our room was on the first floor and very close to entrance gate. We tried to talk the staff to get different room even much cheaper than ours, and they showed bad alltitude and refused to do it. In the morning and evening, we almost heard everyone in and out. The room has the mosquito. We did not sleep enough that day… If you want to get good sleep in quiet room, avoid this hotel.

No doubt my FAVORITE spa in Playa! Always top service and top quality! I have been there several times, my go-to place when I feel like giving myself a little treat. The hot ocean stone massage and the ancient mayan herbal massage, are both so wonderful, I absolutey recommend any of those two! Either way, it can't go wrong, they have many great options, that together with professional excellent measures, its a dream come true!

I am a local in Playa and so grateful to find such a wonderful spa right in town. The staff are fantastic and I have always really enjoyed every massage I have had there. I recommend this spa to all my friends and clients!

This was the only 5/5 experience of our short 5 day trip. Me and my girlfriend got an hour long deep tissue massage, but were pampered for almost 2 hours! We were greeted moments after we arrived by the friendly manager and then the two masseuses. We were given a freshly scented and cool towel to wipe our faces with, after a hot and humid walk across the city. We walked upstairs and were given a robe and slippers to change into. It would probably be better to change in the room with the lounge chairs than the small bathroom. Upon entering the air conditioned room where we would receive the massages, the masseuses scrubbed our feet before we lied down on the tables. After asking what we would like them to focus on, the provided an incredibly thorough and competent deep tissue massage and were sure to ask us several times throughout the process whether the pressure was suitable. Essential oils were rubbed on our bodies and through our hair providing a beautifully relaxing aromatic experience. Despite all the time spent on us before and after the massage, we got an honest hour of massage. We were in the same room together, on two tables with two masseuses. After, we were lead back to a room to relax and readjust to the cruel world outside of the massage table and given a sweet and a glass of cucumber and mint water to refresh. Highly recommended and a great value for the experience! I just wish I could remember our masseuses names so that I could recommend them by name.

Wonderful little gem just off the main avenue! Lovely staff, small, quiet, quaint, airy rooms with your own balcony, nice pool and the breakfast is excellent! Close to all the shops and walking distance to the beach! Highly recommend if your looking for something simple, unique and refreshing! There is a Spa, my friends said the treatments were amazing!

I stayed here with my boyfriend for our first vacation in Mexico and we loved this hotel! It exceeded my expectations. The rooms are larger than I expected after looking at the 360 tours. We had a ground room floor with patio facing the pool (small windows facing onto the street). The room was newly renovated and beautifully done, with good sized bathroom, TV, good sized mini fridge and all the comforts you would expect. My only criticisms would be the lack of shelves for clothing, and inconsistent shower temperatures. The patio was spacious and comfortable with chairs, large table and hammock and a beautiful view of the gorgeous pool area with lush tropical plants and relaxing cabanas. The pool and breakfast area really was lovely and relaxing so we spent more time there than I had originally planned. The breakfast is available 7-10am — it was not included in our Expedia booking but we bought it a few times at 100 pesos each. Really good quality and size. The staff are friendly and were able to help us with printing tickets, providing beach towels etc. Cleaning came every day. There is a security guard at night so it felt very safe. The hotel is a few steps from Fifth Avenue and a few minutes walk to a good area of beach (near Mamita's Beach Club, which can be very busy, but walking north the beach gets quieter). There is an Oxxo convenience store nearby for cheap beers and snacks.

My boyfriend and I had a couples massage done here. It was wonderful! It was my first massage ever and it set a very high standard. The nice woman in charge was from Canada and she translated exactly what we wanted the masseuses to focus on, and how much pressure to use. Our masseuses were both very pleasant and we were very grateful to them, and we regret not learning their names. The massage started with us changing into robes, then in the massage room the masseuses washed our feet. The room was dimly lit with soothing music and light incense. Once we were undressed and in bed under soft covers the masseuses set to work. They asked a few times if the pressure was good. One of them said their English was not very good, but they were being modest. They used a special aromatherapy scent at the beginning which was reminiscent of Vix vapor rub, meant to open your sinuses. My boyfriend wanted his massues to use more pressure, but we were the last clients of the day and he saw her shake her hands a few times like they were sore. We had a one hour session and it was very relaxing. The oil they used was very soothing. At the end, after you get dressed, they give you a refreshing glass of cucumber and mint water and a little chocolate coconut ball. There is a very comfortable waiting area where they encourage you to sit before leaving. Even though we were the last clients of the day we were not rushed out.

I LOVE this hotel. This is the second time we travel to Cancun — Playa del Carmen. Usually we stay in 3 different hotels every time we go and this hotel was by far my favorite. Super clean, comfortable, very pretty, great location. The service was excellent specially Arturo at the front desk. He was very nice, polite and helpful. I highly recommend it.

I visited the Bric Hotel Spa for another 3 treatments, Head Oil Massage, Full Body and Pedicure for my birthday. I was lucky enough to have 2 different spa therapists and felt very special from the minute I walked in to the minute I walked out. Not rushed, not pushed or prodded. Genuine high quality service on all counts. I do also love the little treats they surprise you with, you have to go to get what I mean! 5 stars all round. I will be back in 4 weeks. Congratulations on creating something unique and very personal, how it should be!

If you are hoping for a dream vacation, book here as soon as you can! Bric's atmosphere is tranquil and very beautiful. You can float on your back in the pool and look up at palm trees (which don't only beautify the setting but also make the hotel so much cooler than the outside temperature once you leave to go out onto the street! ) Breakfast is included; you are served a three course meal (bread, fruit, yogurt, granola, and a main entree that changes daily) that is absolutely delicious! The entire staff couldn't be nicer/sweeter. If you're on an upper floor, you'll have a hammock on your balcony (I'm telling you, the place is amazing). And, you can borrow huge beach towels from the front desk when you want to walk down the street to spend time at the ocean! I miss it already.

Good atmosphere. Good cost-benefit ratio. The rooms are a little small. Rustic compared to other hotels in transnational chain.

This Hotel is a an amazing value. The beds and linens were top notch. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is located next to some great dining and a quick walk to Mamitas Beach. You cannot beat the value.
