The elevator wasn’t working, the bathroom sink was leaking, not much food variety, the bathroom cealing fell out, the mini fridge it wasn’t working either 👎🏻…nothing good about it.

They need to improve their facilities are very neglected and old, the food without flavor and lack more variety, lack a better treatment at the reception, congratulations for your kindness to all the staff of the aquamarine restaurant and julio for his attentions.

Hospitality was the worst. I called to the front desk 4 times about the water that was leaking in our bathroom and they said they knew and would send someone. No one ever came.

The location was amazing. The pool and beach were absolutely perfect. It was a small enough resort to walk from the beach to your room without feeling like you ran a marathon. The waves at this particular beach were amazing for kids to play. Food was good, not elaborate. The buffet waiters were outstanding and went over snd beyond to be accommodating. Room was nice and clean with walk out balcony looking over the beach/pool.

It such a terrible place. They are scaming customers back and forward, we got the package online, everything was supposed to be included but by the time we came we found out nothing was included, some of the employees were soo rude and ignorant, such as Alicia from la fisheria, she was giving me attitude non stop, customers service employees are all angry but agustin. I noticed there are tons of customers by the lobby complaining about krystal scamming them. I will make sure to complaint with profeco about this terrible hotel… the only good people here are all the waiters, they are beyond amazing, and Agustin from customer service is just excellent.

Very good experience highly recommended, I would simply come back again, very rich food and dinners even more in restaurant candles and mortar staff very attentive, but only q the room if it smelled a lot of moisture but from there on out everything well.

How start do not have gel alone in the lobby and do not take temperature upon entry, the staff does not have customer service is better in the aquarium and over passes 30% very bad experience and that I am a krystal partner I do not recommend in the middle of the "new normal" looks for another hotel.

Out-of-service Concierge and housekeeping were excellent, lack of training in customer service for the rest of the areas. Very slow to receive attention for IT, I asked for a review of the plug in my room that wasn't, and if they were going to review it, but had no contacts to replace it with, in the restaurant little cordiality on the part of a waiter, and another support person is simply ignorant when he was talking to. In terms of the location and beach are very good, you already have everything, infrastructure, location and beach. Missing the most important part, the service.

I had a wonderful experience. The location is amazing and the staff are exceptional and friendly. In particular, Lucero Reyes the Camarista was very nice and helpful with anything needed and always with a smile. The beach is right there and the canopy beds on the beach are well worth it.

I have two more nights here and I am disappointed. The hotel is old and is need of a lot of repair. The staff is friendly but not accommodating they don’t understand English well enough to give great customer service. Our hotel room didn’t have enough towels and no bath mat or hand towels. An article of my clothing is missing. The beach and the view were great aside the seaweed. The restaurants food is mediocre at best. I tried using the baby sitting service and I had to talk to three different people who gave me different information. I also wanted to use the laundry service and no one could explain how that worked. Also there was a bug problem in my room. When I first came I booked a ocean view suite and they gave me a standard room facing the parking lot then told me in order to change my room I need to do the tour first that they said lasts for 90 minutes, which ended up being like 3.5 hours! The Wi-Fi kept going in and out and was hard to connect. How can you convince anyone to buy a timeshare when you have an old outdated hotel with terrible service and food and staff that steals your clothing?! Never coming back again!

The pool area is very nice! Hotel employees were very attentive amd professional. Hotel location. Is near restaurants, local bars and some shopping. Prices for rooms are affordable. We would definitely come again.

Everything was quit nice, beautiful, friendly and clean! Food was good the restaurant were much better! Drinks and food flow all day long! One downside is the pool closes at 9pm. It should stay open a little later as it’s so much to do, by the end of the evening you want a nightly dip. Couple and family friendly but if you want privacy or quiet time, you will have to hunt for a spot! There were miner things that accorded, like finding the minibar not filled each day “as you are relying on the complimentary bottled water” or giving us a room with double beds but we requested one king bed. The hotel staff was quick to rectify these mishaps immediately! For the price it’s pretty much perfect for a good clean relaxing fun time!

Absolutely not all inclusive — the staff will set you up to be robbed,, possibly killed. Never felt safe AT ALL.

I was here while in Cancun for only one night, the hotel is old. I feel that for the rate they charge it should be a bit better. The only reason I stayed here was because the beach was BEAUTIFUL! With the whole "sargazo" thing going on, this beach was so clean I was able to have the crystal clear water view. I was here with my significant other and I got a double bed room, my reservation was for a king and I was told that they did not have one available. I was a bit bummed about that. Alejandra in the reception area was very helpful.

This place is beautiful, nice sized pool area, two large bar areas, jacuzzi pool area, big cabanas on the beach for a small fee. Beach to hotel is less than 5 min walking distance. The hotel staff was fairly nice, never gave a problem, as well as very accommodating. The rooms were beautiful, nice sized bathroom, did t get a chance to take pictures of the room but maybe when I go back next time I will. Essentially this is a very trendy upscale hotel beautiful scenery as well and great all inclusive pricing. Ide go back.

I don’t know about the hotel itself, but I need to say something about the people who work for the Krystal Hotel company. They send people to the airport to sell you what you think are really good deals for excursions while you’re in Cancun, as long as you promise to come check out their hotel early in the morning of your planned excursion. We were sold two excursions for the price of one, and the guy said that he would pick us up at our hotel to come look at Krystal, then he would give us the tickets. He picked us up at our hotel but when we arrived at Krystal, they told us that they couldn’t give us our promised tickets because we weren’t able to purchase a timeshare at their hotel, which they never told us was part of the deal. When we asked for our money back, they told us they wouldn’t be able to give the money back without the original receipt (which we were originally told we didn’t need to bring). So the guy said that we had to go back to our hotel to get the original receipt & come back if we wanted our money back; when we asked for them to provide us with transportation, since it was their fault that we didn’t have the original receipt, they refused to give it to us. They completely took advantage of us and wasted valuable vacation time. If anyone approaches you at the cancun airport with the name KRYSTAL on their name tag, RUN! It is a scam.

Love this place. Everyone is very friendly and the drink and food prices are very reasonable. What a location! This place is perfectly located in the hotel zone and have all the amenities you could want. The only knock I would have was my A/C did not work very well. Also, the swim up bar area would be great if they made it adults only. It's hard to relax and have a drink with kids splashing all around it. Pool water ruins the drinks.

I've stayed here for a week. 1. The location: quiet, next to the sea, a good beach, which means you have both "wavy" and calm water next to each other 2. Food: could be better choice, the taste is good 3. Check in/check out: prompt and easy 4. Room: good condition, but could be better, 4 out of 5, slight mold smell 5. Free parking is a plus 6. Water: smells. This is a minus (probably, all have the same issue) 7. Pool: 4 very good pools, children 5+ have a safe place, adults have their own, a big plus 8. Price: mmm… I think it's expensive. Probably, I'd better get a hotel farther from the "nightlife spot" 9: Gym: 2-. Just like the majority of gyms within hotels 10. Security: safe, but personnel did not recommend to go to the beach in the night. Overall: 4 — Stars. Would I return? No, really. I'd give a chance to another hotel.

I don't know. Why such a low ranking on the Buquige. Its 4 star hotel justifies clearly. Everything is clean. Gently. Of course it is better to take rooms with a sea view. And a higher floor-great panoramic views. The restaurants and bars are good. Service does not suffer. There is practically nothing for children. Therefore it is better for adults or almost adults.

Im not sure what all. These other negative reviews are about. We flew in earlier then check in time so they gave us our bracelets so we could eat and deink while we waited. All bars were quick, good service and generous with the liquor. When check in time happened we walked up. And they handed us our keys and our bags were waiting for us. The rooms are average and the smell is expected if youre staying at a resort right on the beach and its only very faint. Every staff member went out of their way to make us happy. The time share walk through was 90 mins as promised because we firmly said NO. I agree the food was only okay but the italian restuarant was great and we walked up. One night at 8:30 and they seated us without reservations. They have a snack shop with burgers and fries, hot dogs, nachos, fish tacos etc and that was good too and included in our package. The best thing of all is the view its worth a million dollars! The lobby is gorgeous with white marble everywhere and the pool was refreshing and fun with activities all day. Only minus was no shows at night but the proximity to clubs, bars, shows, malls etc was fantastic we walked the strip. Every night and even took the bus to the mall for $. 70 american. I would recommend this place to anyone. Just go in with a positive attitude and a smile and you wont be disappointed!

Very nice rooms that had great ac and a beautiful beach view. The 1 star off was because of the really generic buffet and balcony door Lock was broken. There pool was awesome, it was super clean, a little shallow, but all and all good.

A hotel of the most incredible, luxurious and at the best price. You'll never be more comfortable like in this place. It is also in one of the most hermlsas parts of Cancun Beach. You have two options to choose from. Kristal Grand or Kristal Cancun. Either of us is amazing.

Bad experience in this hotel, we were charged 60 pesos for having left in the Room 1 beer closed, we didn't even break it or we left rubbish lying around. We did not see why they had QE collect if the work of the waitresses is precisely to pick up the room, besides at any time we were specified this rule. We had liked the hotel, but after this, we never come back.

The cost incurred is budget friendly. I liked the location, restaurants and shopping places are within walking distance and the beach is right there. The service is good too. I enjoyed the ocean view as well as the daily scheduled activities for visitors such as Zumba, the beach walk, and pool exercises… it was hilarious. My husband and I laughed, danced, and sun bathed. Eat, sleep, go sight seeing, and swim. Now that is what I call a vacation.

This hotel is gross. I had planned on staying here 5 nights and Had to get a refund the first night. There is mold in the rooms, the beds were filthy, the employees are very rude. Especially their supervisor Luis! The water smells like sewage. I highly recommend for NO ONE to stay at this place. It’s old and musty. The employees have no respect for their guests.

Our stay at Krystal Cancun was absolutely wonderful. Staff was great since arriving though hate the check in which is at 3pm so make sure you have activities planned out or take out some swim wear to use at the hotel pools. Breakfast buffet was great they had different food everyday but the main thing is their omelets. Hotel is located right next to the main bars and restaurants. The room that we got had partial view to the beach and main street which gets noisy in the night time but it didnt bother us. This is our second stay at Krystal Cancun and would definitely come back.

All these people posting bad reviews are completely ridiculous. Everything about this hotel and resort is top notch. Staff and people were very friendly, food is good, rooms are clean, beaches are cleaned daily. People complaining about cold showers just didn't know how to work the handle on said shower. My wife and I had the best experience here for a first time in Cancun. Plus it is close to (5 minutes) good night life in Cancun and close to cool shops. Can't complain.

Impeccable but a bit pricey compared to other tourist areas.

Very nice place, they were fixing it just that we went but it is the best beach in Cancun away, one leaves the sink down a few steps and is already on a beautiful beach with few algae. It has commas to rent on the beach. Highly recommended with boys.

They threw away all our stuff in the room while cleaning it! Second and last time staying here. I booked and prepaid 7 nights from Feb 17-24 for my birthday and stayed in room 1549 which has a great view. While on our trip, another resort gave us two free night all-inclusive for the 20th and 21st so we left this hotel for just two days and came back to a completely empty room… The bellman made me get a slip from the front desk before we could take any of our luggage out and I made sure that they were aware we were not checking out and that we left some stuff in our room. The lady at the front desk assured us it was no problem. I filled out a report with their manager and had to constantly remind them our stuff was missing for 2 days but they did nothing about it. I love Mexico and will be back but not to this horrible place.

Here is the rule of rudeness. The hotel in the whole looks good, but already as you present to show your reservation come treated with a veiled but palpable rudeness, my wife and I accompanied two of our friends and already we had this feeling, then confirmed in the moment Which we went to find them. We were told to get out of the hotel and a vigilante didn't take our eyes off us. I won't recommend the Krystal Cancun to anyone.

The service and customer care of this hotel is good, has a nice view to the sea, but its facilities need maintenance or do some renovations, they must fumigate this place urgent because there are cockroaches, and you can not rest because there are Lots of noise and loud music due to the bars and nightclubs that they have as neighbors.

Great location, very clean, great for people who wants to relax but NOT for spring breakers.
— RARELY any music
— NO animation
— barely any activities that are organized properly : like the water volley ball they just set up the net for 1 hours and they call it “animation”
— 2 waiters at the bar to serve 40 peoples… so 15 min to get a drink. (if you’re having 10 drinks a day, it’s already half the afternoon gone).
— room service price is SO NOT WORTH IT, food was not good.
— room smelled moldy
— buffet is really basic however we tried the italien restaurant (that we went to book in the morning and they said it was fully booked. And at 9pm we went to try to have a table and it was no problems…) and the food and service was fantastic. Overall I wouldn’t recommend spring breakers to go to this hotel but I would recommend it for people who wants to relax.

It is a good option to travel as a couple. The hotel is very well located and the price is accessible. The beach is great and it's clean. The hotel facilities are a bit old but they are not bad. The service of the employees is always courteous.

The beach Club is sooo good. We attended for your hotel brother Krystal Cancun Center. It is advisable to rent a bed as it is 500 pesos all day and you are reimbursed 300 for consumption. They also offer discounts for 10% or more in consumption. Excellent pool. There are activities scheduled for the whole day.

A nice hotel, however, the rooms are partly slightly musty due to the ventilations and not as great as we had expected for the price. Beach towels are included, space in the shade somewhat scarce, breakfast buffet except for the juice super.

Facilities need a bit of maintenance but overall the hotel is very nice and full for the price. Being that reception I was told that the water was not potable they should have included bottled water daily in the room.

A bit of a let down. The rooms were not as promised in advertisement. A bit dated bathroom. Luckily I was not in resort for much just to sleep over. Good location next to all the nightclubs and restaurants. All inclusive reservation limits are ridiculous, especially to their mexican restaurant. Out of 7 days I was able to reserve only 1 night and only at 930pm. Italian restaurant reservations are a bit easier, but also "sell out" before lunch. It's funny since the restaurants are more than half empty when they were booked up for the night. The all inclusive food is pretty much only in the buffet. During lunch time, it looks like italian restaurant serves the same variety as in the buffet. Bars were not too busy, but during my stay the bars didnt have mint for mojitos, a major let down for me. Sushi bar was good, except the sushi chef didnt understand english, so he server whatever. Same with waiters and some bartenders. It was my first all inclusive vacation and well it was not the best experience. I was not blown away to say the least.

The picture of the room on this website is not the actual room. The room I got had double beds that are not comfortable at all. Bathroom was dirty and my toilet backed up before even using it when I arrived. Also had ants in my room. My family was served raw fish and rare meat when asking for medium at the Italian Restaurant. Buffet is is meh. Only good food is the Sushi Bar. This place over sucks besides the beach. Also they have a activity called million dollar shot which is also BS because they say they are not having it because the are trying to control the crowd when there is nothing going on. Faults advisement. Sticking with the Royal Resorts from here on out.

If you are looking for good location This is good choice, if you are looking for excellent beach and still close to the action I recommend Hotel President.

This was our first time in Cancun with my friends and I would not change it other than staying longer. I had read the reviews before which had me a little worried; word of advice never the bad reviews (lol please continue) We decided to stay here at Krystal Cancun resort for 4 days with an all inclusive packages which we didn't get to use to our benefit due to doing activities & tours. The staff were excellent very helpful even helped with our Spanish. Booking tours were a little hassle because the wait was a little long and we booked the day we arrived but nevertheless it was perfect!

Aging establishment with a welcome not at all Pleasant.

The rooms seen on the sea if you are lucky enough to have one are very nice… The hotel itself is fine with a nice beach right in front but it's still Cancun a factory for American and Mexican tourists… I didn't know, bein I can assure you I'm vaccinated! Nothing to do with Mexico…

To start off this place completely screwed with my friend’s wedding. The venue was under construction and we didn’t find out until the day before from the actual construction workers that they had no clue a wedding was supposed to take place there and they had no intention of finishing up by then. It was then switched to a beach where we found out later they were hosting a huge beach party, so after confronting them about that they finally moved the wedding to a gazebo. They never brought the red aisle runner they promised, the lights blinked in different patterns and looked kinda tacky, all in all they really showed they didn’t care about the wedding they just wanted to keep that money in their pocket. We were not staying at this hotel (THANK GOD) but we came to visit for a day and got a day pass. The girl in the office told 3 different people in our party that good and drinks were half off (she did not say 50% off, she used the exact wording, half off) and we found out later that it’s only 15%. We went back to the office to talk to her about it when we found out and she completely lied and denied even talking to two of the people and claimed she wasn’t there to try and cover the fact that she messed up. So we essentially paid $65 to play in a pool which is a complete rip off in my mind. The security is both annoying and worthless.

I booked my room 2 weeks ahead of my stay asking for a king bed. Reached the hotel and they said they only have double bed rooms. Very rude receptionists.

Excellent rooms with sea view, very good service by the staff of the hotel as well as the service staff on the beach, a great place to return, I have no complaints from the hotel and its staff, were a wonderful holiday!

Room for improvement in small areas like the hot tub cleanliness and working hours, and the random supply of shampoo and toiletries in general — but overall, fantastic beach, good food and drinks, an impressive pool and hard-working staff. I would be happy to go back and I definitely recommend it to others.

This resort is really nice, we went to their spa section for a couples massage. Those ladies were very professional, with gifted hands. I definitely would come back.

I think it's fine but it takes a more complete service. Not all people have a credit or debit card. Not receiving cash seems wrong to me. I wanted to pay for my son's breakfast in cash and they told me only cards no cash so I give him three stars. I'll give you five stars when you accept cash. Overall good hotel.

We requested to be moved here after our first hotel disappointed us due to construction. The Krystal Cancun proved to be modern and conveniently located near the major clubs and market. The rooms were clean, modern, and had an excellent beachside view from the 8th floor. However, we experienced low water pressure at times. The staff were friendly and attentive but sometimes busy due to guest volume. The food and drinks were delicious. This hotel appeared to be great for both families and couples.

The hotel on the outside looks good, but inside it lacks much maintenance. Inside it looks old, the elevators of the tower B are falling, they are slow, they have perforations. The furniture in the room looks old and at least my couch is dirty. At the reception the deal was not the friendliest and I was surprised to be asked to liquidate when I entered, ie they would not let me have an open voucher with my card:/ The location is excellent if you like the party, it is on one side of all the fun places and squares. You find everything to eat. The price is quite accessible the truth.

Great location. Staff are okay but could be nicer. All inclusive kind of sucks to be honest. Cheap drinks. Food takes forever if is not buffete. Prices can vary from good to very expensive. Id reconmend if you have a big group of friends or family.

Really nice and clean hotel and the staff are very friendly! It's located right next to all the clubs and if your get hungry, I recommend tacos Rigo about a block away from the hotel! I loved this hotel very economic, clean, and beautiful!

The hotel is located on the tip of Cancun, where the beach and the sea are truly spectacular! The sea view rooms have a nice balcony and they are very clean… The problem is the bathroom which is quite dated and would be renovating! The hotel offers several restaurants and a piano bar X in the evening while during the day you can have lunch at both the beach and the pool! … on the beach you can even find the turtle eggs, protected and well tended to be crushed by tourists! Parking is FREE!

Not top… An American hotel really not beautiful but with an exceptional view when you have the rooms facing the sea. The breakfast is more than any… Fortunately the beach is not bad.

First room had NO A/C! We told them and they said they would fix it. Came back from a night out and still NO A/C. We got our room changed and new room bathroom was flooding. Water leaking from roof and behind the sink. Service us nonexistent. Only good thing is it us well located so you don't have to spend time in the hotel.

It was good for the price. Location is very convenient — only 20min from the airport and best of all, right in front of the beach. The service was cordial. We arrived early so the front desk lady told us to come back a bit before check in time for our keys, and gave us the bracelets to go around the resort and gave is the cards to get towels and they would also hold our luggage. We chose an ocean front view room with balcony and it was the best choice. The view was amazing. We tried the food from all three restaurants around, and they were all delicious, especially The Mortero. The building overall is clean but it is asking for some remodeling. Its looking very 90's, the room does need some updating, and the bath/shower faucet was leaking. The bed and pillows were a bit hard. But the room was very spacious. And if you are going to get away from noise and kids, don't go to that place because it is very kids friendly and very noisy at night because it's right beside the night clubs. My husband and I had a good time though.

I'm giving this place 5 stars because of its great location, easy access to its private beach, proximity to night clubs and restaurants and at an affordable price. I had a great time here even tho the housekeeper left me with no towels for almost a whole day. My first time in Cancun, definitely will be coming back.

The facilities are somewhat neglected. There is No service attitude in general, although Nico (The Sails), Christian (Bartender), Alexander (Bellboy) are super friendly and attentive. The beach is very pretty I Think the pool bar should be in another area; it is in a swimming pool low and there are many children around people taking. The krystal cacun offers an excellent service to us young people, the restaurant food is good but I think that could be a little better, the facilities are in good condition and the location of the hotel is perfect for the nightlife of cancun.

In general a good hotel. Maybe you need a little more variety in terms of the food, the menu /buffet.

Fully recommended. Little evening show… but it compensates with the bars and clubs of the sector.

When I was a hotel of the NH, I guess that does not change or the rich food or the good service they had, what I liked most about the afternoon was the pool, very nice, the breakfast plentiful, the service is good, recommended.

Mixed experiences in this hotel. Once we stayed in the new building with sea view, and the room was at good standards. Go for the all inclusive package if you're planning to stay for a couple of days and are keen on drinking. Last time I was there they put me in the old building, where the design of the hotel is really dated. Good location for nights out as you're at the heart of the night club district of cancun as well as a variety of shopping centres.
