The best hotel with always the nicest people in Assisi ❤️❤️❤️
I have been there with many groups in many years now and the latest now in september and october. Everybody enjoyed the stay and all the kind people in the reception.
Especially I want to thank wonderful Daniela who took really good care of us at breakfast! She is always kind and helpful with a smile to all of us. Looking forward to come back to you next time.
And not to forget, the spectactular view of the Assisi valley!

A hotel par excellence located in the centre of Assisi, with a wonderful view of the umbrian landscape. The excellent restaurant and the lovely garden are the icing on the cake!

Beautiful view and very clean hotel. Also, best breakfast we ever had in Italy. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean and welll situated. Service was slow and seemed disorganized… and if I wanted a sparse room (not even a chair to sit in! ) in the corner down some steps I would have opted for an old convent!

Hotels in great rating 7 position, rooms on the fifth floor should be revised grade 4, definitely does not provide a 4-star service. Staff too professional grade 4, neither at the 'reception rose to help us with luggage since the elevator" was barely capacious for two more accessory people". Rooms without soundproofing and air conditioning in telt. Too bad it would take a little renovation. Breakfast room on the ground floor, old, with 50s mobiglio, closed and smelling of mold grade 3. The old buffet and with products of the wide distribution grade 3. (Luckily we opted for only one night. Structure not recommended, or suitable for pilgrims.

Great location, perfect welcome, discreet rooms, not 4 stars but clean, not excellent breakfast, you save only the cake with apples, the rest tasted old, the breakfast clerk
kind for charity, but she seemed quite nervous and always answered with a hint of acidity. Negative note, parking, 12th, although written, seems exaggerated, I stayed in various 4-star hotels and never anyone charged us. Cmq, taking off these little things, I consider my stay, discreet.

Pleasant stay, great location. Rooms not too spacious. Unique elevator, slow and small, décor and interiors not too modern. Conditioning is absolutely to be reviewed, with broken interfaces and little intuitive. Poor quality restaurant to be a 4 star. I recommend it overall for the cleanliness and convenience of the location if you are planning a frugal visit.

We stayed here from 20/6/18 for three nights. It is the jewel in the crown of Assisi. The staff are lovely and accommodating. Our room was comfortable, clean & spacious with breathtaking panoramic views of Assisi. The restaurant was superb & reasonably priced could not fault it in any way. Alberto, our main waiter was knowledgeable and friendly as well as very professional in his task at hand. No doubt the place to stay when you want to be spoilt in Assisi. Arrivederci till next time.

A lovely hotel with a gorgeous view from the rooms to the valley!

Only for the sake of this hotel is to go to Asizi. Great location. Great staff, attentive and welcoming. We had a room with an incredible view of the valley, an extraordinary pleasure to admire this beauty from the window! The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is thought up to the smallest detail, despite its small size. The restaurant downstairs IL Frantoio also with a wonderful view from the windows, the dishes are very tasty, tasted lamb and rabbit. The menu is varied and tempting)

I was already in this hotel for the second time and was completely satisfied again. Very friendly and courteous service, very nice rooms and very good breakfast. The panoramic view from the restaurant is a dream and the cuisine very tasty. Very good location in Assisi, walking all the sights are within walking distance. The Wi-Fi reception in my room (401) was good to very good. Absolutely recommended!

Cozy place, big and comfortable rooms. The staff are helpful and polite.

Lovely modern and clean clean room. Super comfortable beds and the best large pillows. Helpful staff and a very generous breakfast. All the coffee you can drink.

Our stay was mostly good — the service was great, the breakfast was fantastic. The rooms were fairly sparse; also, they could have been cleaned more thoroughly (a previous guest left trash in a drawer). The location was fantastic, though — right between St Francis' basilica and the center town square. Also, we really liked the front desk staff: besides giving us directions everywhere, they helped push a broken down car out of the way, when it broke down in the street by the hotel. That was good of them. The room was larger than the other rooms we've stayed in, in Italy, and it had a MAJESTIC view of Assisi.

The location is very close to the main tourist attractions. Excellent service and reception Courtesy is the watchword. Perfect.

Huge clean room with a spectacular view of the valley for a great price. Hotel staff were informative and hospitable, they took care of our every need. When I go back to Assisi, I will definitely plan to stay here again.

We had room for three adults. When we went in it, it was two storey with two beds downstairs and a double and single upstairs. The view from the window was magnificent. The breakfast was continental of course. Have had better. The location was great, quite central really. Be prepared to drag your case uphill from the bus stop. You have to catch the bus from the railway station but buy your ticket from the little shop otherwise it costs more on the bus. All in all quite impressive, wish we could have stayed more than one night.

We booked a triple room, but the two floor room we had could easily accommodate up to five. The view from our room was the best I've ever seen in any hotel. The continental breakfast was also fantastic with lots of choice. The only minor issue we had were the beds, which were a bit hard, but they had nice big pillows. Overall, we loved staying in the Fontebella during our stay in Assisi.

The view is great the location also provided parking the place deserves the stars. Something to modernize in the rooms but they are cured.

We stayed there on 10 July and the hotel is a gorgeous hotel and the staff brilliant. The breakfasts was fantastic however for the evening meal the menu appeared limited and when staying again (and we will) to make it 6 stars will most probably eat out.

Great hotel, good reception, good breakfast and great location. In contrast there is a lack of private parking then there is a need for some small renovation to the interior.

It is very well located, with wonderful views and a warm attention. The restaurant is very good quality and the views are unique. 100% recommended, not going to regret.

The hotel is located with a view to the valley. The service is not so good but to spend 1 day there is no incomveniente. Assisis deserves it as one of the most beautiful and picturesque places I have ever visited.

It was a decent room for the price. A bit small and lacking air conditioning. The staff were quite friendly and was located in a good spot.

Elegance, refinement, friendliness, seriousness and cleanliness, few terms to describe this beautiful Hotel from the breathtaking landscape. We'il be back.

The hotel's location is convenient to walk to both the city centre and the basilica. Great service and friendly staff and beautiful panoramic views.

Fair price, 89 euros for a double; I personally recommend adding 10 euros and get a room with a view over the Valley, extremely impressive.

Beatiful scenary and restaurant! free access of internet but only accessible at the front. Friendly staff and close to the bascilca.
