Perhaps because a pilgrimage with a coach of 84 people. I don't know what you actually paid for the hotel however I honestly wouldn't recommend it. The rooms were not ready at 15 o'clock that were to deliver the keys at 2, 30. A bed was missing. The cleanliness left to be desired. The food done well but in the economy. Chicken chop and Hamburgher type MC Donald.

Very nice Hotel and very good service. The staff is always ready to serve you. The comfortable rooms are equipped with every comfort (TV, ETCC fridge) At first glance you can understand that it has a modern architecture that affirms the recent construction of the building. The food is of excellent quality although not very varied (in three days pasta in the evening and also by day).

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. The food was almost unedible and it smelled terrible. This hotel served me the worst food I ever had and left me with a terrible stomachache and an unstoppable flow of diarrea. I was sick for weeks. This is possibly the worst hotel I ever visited and I wouldn't advise anyone tot come here. Such a shame. Shame shame shame shame shame shame shame shame shame!

We were guests for Easter. We found the place thoroughly enjoyable. Near the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli on foot in less than 10 minutes. Friendly staff and very helpful. Easter lunch really excellent and beautifully landscaped. Clean and comfortable rooms.

A place of peace and charismatic among quillita. Grave St. Francis of Assisi.

Located in a very suggestive place. It is very comfortable because it is in the immediate vicinity of Assisi. He's got public transport on the doorstep. It's clean, and the staff is friendliest. I recommend it.

Good reception two blocks from the Ferrovia a little distant to the convent but you can go by bus or taxi.

I am at home in this hotel, Giuseppe is the manager, very professional with ample view of the staff, that is present, has no vertical characteristics and a one service that looks innovative. I hope he grows more and more in formation.

The property was clean and modern. The check-in process was easy and the front desk staff attentive and professional. The only issue was the bedroom walls were paper thin and you could hear everything going on in the room next door.

Rooms were nice, restaurant was passable, but understaffed.

I expected something traditional in Assisi instead is a modern structure. It's not bad, ample the entrance is the dining room. Beautiful rooms.

Hotel located a few minutes walk from Santa Maria degli Angeli. Clean and tidy. The rooms are also very cosy. Find everything you need. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is plentiful and of good quality. The price/quality ratio is very interesting.

I had a great time… The 5-Star service always friendly, the place is strategic near the train station and close to the shuttle bus that takes you in 5 minutes to the center of Assisi, clean rooms with all the comforts.

Casa Leonori is a much newer, more modern hotels that is just outside of Assisi. A short 5 minute, 15 euro taxi ride and voila you are at the Piazza Comune. The room I stayed in was rather large, with a common for Italy, 2-bed to become a queen size bed set up, a standard toilet/bidet/shower bathroom, working A/C, television (~32" screen which is newer and larger than most hotels in Italy), and a fridge. The staff are polite and friendly and will assist you with anything you need, including helping you — without judgment! — through the front doors at midnight that you thought were locked but really required you to push, not pull! The outside of the hotel really is fabulous as is the inside. A 5/5 on this one, well worth the price despite its distance from town.
