The location is fantastic right off the grand canal and just down from Piazza San Marco. The standard rooms are a good size and our room has a large bathroom and room for a baby cot. The staff are wonderful and we are travelling with our 12 month old daughter and everyone has been amazingly warm and welcoming to us. I would highly recommend staying here if you have the chance.

Staff was lovely but we thought from the description we would have a view of the grand canal but when we checked in we were taken around the corner to the other entrance where we checked in and were shown to our room (which by the way was lovely) which had a view of a portion of an alley roof and an air conditioning unit… If a view is what you want you’ll have to book a suite to get it. Still had a lovely stay and the staff was first rate.

Overall I'm very happy with our stay at Hotel Savoia & Jolanda. There were a few imperfections, but I don't feel like they made my stay less enjoyable. The room was a good size for European standards, decorated in a very Venetian style. There was plenty of seating, and a large bed; though the bed was a bit hard. There weren't any power outlets near the head of the bed, but the hotel staff went out of their way to provide me an extension cord and plug adapter for my CPAP. The provided breakfast was nice, with gluten free options for bread, pastries, and cereal. There were also tons of gluten filled options for us non-celiac diners. Food outside of breakfast was tasty and reasonably priced. The outdoor seating did have a bit of a problem with pigeons, which seems common here, but I'd recommend an indoor table.

It takes more clarity on the site or during bookings! Outside room from the hotel! Exit and at 20 Mt in the street C is the other entrance! D Winter is not the Max! Our room was more of a loculo.

Great hotel!
The standard rooms are located on the street side and the superior rooms have a view of the lagoon so pay attention to this if it is important to you.
Otherwise the breakfast has a gigantic choice and the staff is at little care. As soon as you leave a few minutes a person comes to check if you are missing something in the room, redo the bed if necessary even in the middle of the day. It even closes the shutters for you at nightfall if you are not there.

Lovely hotel in great location. Restaurant is good and staff really make you feel special. Rooms are all beautifully decorated with fabrics on the walls. The hotel has its own beautiful motor launch which it uses to take customers back to the airport. A little magic at the end of your stay! St Marks Square is only a few hundred yards away and the is easy access to the myriad of back streets that make Venice so special. Highly recommended.

Opposite is the Zacharias pier where you can take all the boats to go anywhere and 100 meters from Piazza S. Marco.
Friendly staff and great room (I have been in the economy) although without a scenic view I found it fine.

We booked 2 nights in a superior room and we can't say we were conquered. The room was spacious and pretty but what a disappointment by going in the bathroom to the design of the 80 years absolutely not at the height of a price of 300 euros per night. The hotel is also very poorly soundproofed we were awakened many times. And finally the breakfast, rather good, is somewhat spoiled by a very unpleasant and unfriendly staff. So the observation is that the value for money is very bad. It is a 3 star star at the most and not a 4 star. Icing on the cake the gift promised on arrival is a very low-end pen. … We will not return.

I stayed with my husband from 13/10 to 15/10, a wonderful week… Superior Room without lagoon view but definitely elegant, clean, comfortable and quiet. Rearrangement twice a day with towel change. Friendliness of all the staff at the reception, Mrs. Barbara, Vita, Francesca, the young guy whose name I do not remember also recommended a typical Venetian restaurant… Very nice and kind Mr. Christian Sala Restaurant. On the day of arrival we were in the room of a bottle of prosecco with two glasses and a rose… Romantic! Continental breakfast plentiful, we had dinner one of the two evenings at the Princess Restaurant great value for money (20% discount for us of the hotel). But what makes it all the more extraordinary is the central location, San Marco at two steps! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants the best to relax in this wonderful Venice. Perfect location. Right across water taxi station. Staff were very courteous, polite & professional. I did not feel an inch of discrimination. Our Room was in the attic, very romantic & clean & w/ free bottle of proseco. Our dinner package was absolutely delicious. A free ride to Murano demo was a surprise. I will stay here again f given d chance to visit Venice again. I will absolutely recommend this hotel.

Good quality/price ratio for Venice. Ideally located, tb maintained, view from our room on alley without interest but with a quiet lunch on the Lagoon (in another hotel 50 m)

No green zone no. Solid urban development. On the one hand Windows of the hotel face the motorway Genova-nice, on the other hand — on the railroad. No neither the 1st, nor the 2nd line. Access to the sea complicated via the hotel lift / Elevator, corridor with inner yard of the hotel, pass along the railway, narrow stairs, a dirty low tunnel with some bumps and potholes on the bottom, then after 2 passable roads. Go into the city, you can either through the tunnel, or go along the railway train moving with a barrier or go 300 m on the highway to the turning on the city streets. The rooms are without balcony and air conditioning. Windows are old (not Windows), so close them tight impossible, and from the side of the highway and railway constant noise. Furniture uncomfortable. Beds creak, mattresses fail under the weight of the body, because this morning sore back. TV obsolete model even impossible to connect a DVD-player, image poor, only Italian channels. Moreover, during our stay in the room burst pipe with hot water and the room started to fill. Us for a day had the worst room with no air conditioning, not even apologized for the inconvenience. A very limited range of dishes for Breakfast: never served no dairy products, no dried fruits, eggs, sausages. Just 2 kinds of juice. Toaster antediluvian, слабомощный, пожаривает toast so long that if someone has taken this «device», the other is already in queue waiting for.
