Nice hotel, quiet, quiet. Located in the historic part of the city, so the evening is just wonderful to walk through the deserted streets. The restaurant plays classical live music. The only downside is the dark rooms (in the spirit of antiquity) and the outdoor air conditioning, which is very noisy.

The hotel itself is beautiful and unique, since parts of the hotel is 700 year old. The service is good, and there is quick response when you ask for something. However, it also have some issues. First, we had booked a romantic package, where there were suppose to be chocolate and champagne at the room. We got the champagne and some badly arrange fruits after asking about it, no chocolate. Second, the breakfast is really bad, so just don't book breakfast. Third, the restaurant is mediocre and better meals can be found elsewhere. Fourth, we stayed there six days, and soaps etc was not replaced during our stay as well as fresh linned. Fifth, there were a lot of light pollution in our room, which made it difficult to sleep. Six, we had to leave early in the morning, so we cleared our bill the night before. The concierge suggested we use the last of our cash to pay the restaurant bill, so we were not stuck with HUF. However, he did not get and seemed irritated that we did not want to pay the rest in euro. (our country do not use the euro). Furthermore, the hotel had booked a car to take us to the airport the next day, which only accepts cash, so we ended up having to go to an atm at the airport. We had just asked for a regular taxi, which all accepts cards, and also cheaper. Most of the staff was nice and pleasant, so because of them the hotel gets three stars, but it has some issues that removes stars…

Luxuriously fantastic Residence Hotel. Quality of the structure and service really beyond the average of the category Pentastellata. Needless to add more.

A historical place, ideal to eat in its gardens with the typical menu that offers. The price is logically superior to other locals, but not too much and makes up for the environment.

If you want to experience what a 1980s five star hotel must’ve felt like than you’ll love this place. As previously mentioned it totally feels like you’re staying at a royal palace. Marble hallways, fancy real wood furniture etc. Solid and as beautiful as a hotel room can come. Helpful staff (Balint was awesome! ). This hotel however felt like it’s financially run lean, and is nowhere close to a 2018 five star hotel. The breakfast was the worst of our entire trip. I saw so many guests peak in, look at it and immediately leave. The breakfast male waiter was also the rudest person I encountered on my entire trip. Didn’t bother to welcome any of the guests who came into breakfast, and only showed up to boss people around and disappeared once they needed something. We avoided the restaurant all-together after our encounter with him. Towels were clean but thread worn. Room clean enough but quite dust layered around all the edges. Our room only had a bathtub, so be sure to confirm if you require a shower. Strange place, but if you don’t mind the quirks a funky affordable hotel away from the chaos of Pest with super convenient and safe parking.

Amazing place! Come here if you’re on your afternoon tour here. 10 euros for a 3 course meal. I am amazed! Value for money!

Room was nice, but service is not so great, need to pay for bottled water, there were people smoking in the lobby. Location is very close to the castle.

The pork loin with potatoes and ratatouille were very good but the portion was relatively small the price with €17 was relatively high for Hungarian conditions. I drank a 0, 25 Coca Cola and an espresso.
A tip of 12% is also posted on the bill.

Verry bad lunch menu, soup only with potatoes and carrot. Pretty bad for this kind of place.

Very bad service. I find it unacceptable in a place like this to be told that during the weekends you cannot pay by credit card because the system is not working in the weekends (but is working during week days)

Incredibly huge rooms, nicely furnitured. Friendly staff, late check-in without any issues.

Good food (not a lot) and a price adjusted considering how expensive Buddha is.

The location of the restaurant is in Buda side near all the monuments. The food was perfect but the time of the delivery was not fast.

Didn't stay at the hotel as a guest, but had lunch there. Their menu meal was great value and delicious, giving us a teaser of the traditional hungarian cuisine. The venue is incredibly beautiful, definitely worth taking a look. Great choice of wines and very helpful staff. We were in a group of 9 with no reservation but they still managed to arrange for a big table for us.

Great place on the Buda side. Quiet, clean, classy, in a historic area. Renovated nicely.

Stopped here for lunch. Very friendly service and a decent value set lunch on offer, which was reasonable quality if nothing special. Their restaurant was a bit gloomy, but they have a beautiful inner patio/garden which they were happy to let us eat in.

I spent a wonderful three days at the hotel. I still cannot believe I could stay in the historic center for only 90 euros. And this hotel has style!
