My husband & I are traveling &stopped in for dinner tonight. I had the chicken dish & my husband the pork. Both were delicious. We had 2 desserts that we shared & enjoyed. We would definitely return to this restaurant. Food & service were excellent.

Just returned from a 3 night stay — the hotel is gorgeous nestled in the castle walls.
Clean, comfortable and the staff are very attentive. The breakfast, which is included in the room price is truly marvellous.
Would highly recommend.

Weve had a lovely stay here, stayed four nights. Room was lovely and spacious, the bed and pillows were comfortable too. There was plenty of breakfast options for everyones taste. Restaurant foods was delicious and the staff were friendly and eager to help with whatever you required, even local knowledge for best places to visit. Would definitely recommend a stay here and we would come back 5 's from me. Well done Maison Bistro.

I've waited to stay here for a while now. It was well worth the wait. The staff is fantastic never mind about the old world charm. Gorgeous. Clean and absolutely worth every penny.

Came here for a drink Friday night, warm friendly service so returned for dinner, it didn’t disappoint good food good service and very reasonable.

Typical tourist trap in castle district. Really overpriced. I would never return. I had a caesar salad which was terrible. No parmesan cheese which was forgotten by chef though I was the only guest in restaurant. Very little sauce and no anchovy at all in it. Very short menu. I had a squash to drink which was very weak. Toilets were dirty…

What a find! This is an amazing quaint hotel ideally located in Budapest. The staff was so friendly and the food was exquisite! An absolute gem!

An escape from the bustling Pest side. Nice staff. Good A/C. Pristine rooms and bathrooms. Excellent breakfast. Bus 16 stop not far away. Will return in my next trip!

When you are in the castle district come here for your coffee or lunch. I had the best chest nut soup ever, I was fortunate enough to receive the recipe. Very kind service and a pretty location as well.

Wow… just wow! Both beautiful and adorable, very friendly. The rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable and lunch at the Bistro was amazing. The "Floating Island" dessert was delicious. We'll be eating at the Bistro frequently while we stay in Buda!

My colleagues and I stayed at the Maison Bistro & Hotel Budapest during our 3-day business trip to Budapest. The hotel was absolutely brilliant; everything about the hotel from the rooms, food and service, my colleagues and I could not fault it. The hotel offered some very unique features where each room were designed differently with space and comfort in mind. I would highly recommend visiting the downstairs wine cellar as this offers a glimpse of the hotels past. Barbara and her team certainly made myself and my colleagues very welcome and we were very well looked after. It’s worth mentioning the location of the hotel is up in the castle; the hotel is ideally situated for the main tourist attraction of the castle where spectacular views of the local attractions can be seen, specially in the evening. The hotel is a 5/10 minutes in a taxi to the city centre. I would highly recommend this hotel personally as it offers everything you can think of. As Budapest is a regular visit; our company has made the Maison Bistro & Hotel our choice of accommodation in Budapest.

It's a great place in the old part of town with the castle and fisherman's bastion as your backyard (Google that). Fantastic service, stylish and clean rooms with great facilties and the food is well prepared and quiet affordable. My utmost recommendation for this place!

Excellent everything! The food was great and even better was the service. We took a menu that consisted of a small soup and a second plate which was more than enough for very good price. Recommend this place!

Nice experience at Christmas Eve dinner. Service was excelent and great dessert especially the wine related one.
