Nice place near the castle.

Lovely hotel in a great location, food in the restaurant was excellent.

This hotel is located in an excellent downtown location, very friendly staff, spacious rooms, exemplary cleaning. We will definetly came back here.

Hotel is ok, on arrival we were not given any information from hotel staff regarding facilities at hotel only found out from doing own research, rooms ok basic which is what you are paying for,. Beds comfortable enough but Pillows need replacing, cleanliness of room was questionable we had dead bugs on carpet for 3 days. There’s no milk left in room for tea only coffee sachets which already had milk added but you can go down to reception for tea and coffee if you wish which we only found out by doing own research. There is a bar onsite but we were asked to vacate as they were busy and drink our drinks in reception not ideal!. Would we stay again No.

The Hotel Castle Garden is a small size hotel located just north of Matthias Church district. The hotel has your basic amenities, the attached restaurant Riso is quite good for any meal with a nice outdoor sitting area. The rooms were very affordable. The carpet smell is noticeable in both the hallway and in room. Bathroom is large but has a small shower glass divider that doesn't keep water off the floor with a very high tub to step in/out. Towels are the worst, old, thin and hard. Good closet space, mini fridge, safe. Bed is big, firm but soft. We had a small terrace as well. They even provided a free cell phone to use for your stay. To get to Pest side it's a 35 min walk or cab for about $10. The walk back is a steep climb. Overall, the hotel is in a nice area, felt safe at night, average rooms, good staff, great restaurant.

Rooms average. No where to just meet up just rooms. Free mobile phone usage a plus. Staff ok. Quiet place. Restaurant is packed and in my opinion average and family gave it a 3.

A lovely hotel with very nice and helpful reception staff. The room has a small terrace, a comfortable big bed and a bath. There was also a bottle of wine as a welcome present. Downstairs there is an amazing restaurant with really delicious main courses and very tasty desserts. The restaurant staff are professionals who make you feel really nice during your stay there. Can't say more than to recommend this place.

I spent a night there the place is beautiful and the person at the front desk was very nice and gave great service I arrived there at 1:30 at night and the guy served us like it's 3 in the afternoon.

We had a nice room and they let us use a cell phone the whole time we were there. It was on the Buda side, which is absolutely beautiful! The customer service was very kind; I would wholeheartedly recommend this boutique hotel to anyone.

Nice hotel with good options for breakfast. The place was nicely located near the castle district. A short 10 min walk took us to the fisherman’s bastion or 15 mins down all the stairs to the river front. Walking up was hard though but expected. The adjoining restaurant had good food.

A quiet, clean, and modern hotel in Buda. It's restaurant doesn't have much in the way of traditional Hungarian fare, but it does have a great wine list.

Nice hotel close to castle Wall and historical place with a lot of museum. Clean rooms, friendly servis and restaurant with good fond and wine. There is also whireless pool.

Very recommended free walk to live, although the subway came out dragging the box up very tired, and to pay attention to the deviation of Google Navigation, do not understand to take the steps. But it is very convenient to play Castle Mountain. Hotel Restaurant Dinner can also, business is very good look. Pence doesn't mean anything.

Very good hotel, very nice of the stuff and they were very helpful, close to the musiums and very nice place but only one reason not good it's because of Wi-Fi. I couldn't connect to the Wi-Fi in the hotel. Very pool Wi-Fi. But still recommend to come back and stay in this hotel, cleaned and lovely. Thank you for lovely time for my holiday :)

Exceptional value for money for High Quality 4 Star Hotel near Buda Castle. Free Hot Drinks and Soft Drinks by Reception Area between 12 noon and 5pm. Breakfast great choice and delicious. Staff very attentive and friendly. Close to bus stop to Central Budapest and 5 min brisk walk away from metro/tram/bus transport hub. For the money you will not find a better 4 Star Hotel in Budapest.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, just a few minute walk to the Metro and tram lines and also just a few minutes from the Castle district. I stayed for 5 nights. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the hotel was severely lacking. On the first day I found long black hairs in the bathroom but didn't think much of it. The broken state of the shower was more disturbing. One morning we accidentally dropped a water glass in the bathroom and picked up all the big pieces. We told the front desk that there are small glass pieces on the floor to make sure the cleaners wouldn't hurt themselves. That evening when we came back the glass was replaced but nothing had been cleaned. The same glass splinters still were on the floor, the sink was still dirty, soap/shampoo not refilled, beds not made, etc. When we asked the front desk to have someone come by to vacuum the bathroom floor they could only find a broom and brushed it to the side. I then used a towel to sweep the floor again to make sure there was no glass left to find the white towel now looking like a used rag. I guess it has been a while since the tile floor was actually cleaned wet. At the end of our 5 night stay we still had the same message on our mirror that a previous guest wrote on it with their fingers. If it hadn't been for the lack of cleaning we would have given the hotel at least 4 stars!

Was now the 2nd time there, can only join me the other, kindness, nice staff, clean, great location just good, any time again, the 12 days were very relaxing, come back gladly.

I love the staff, the receptionist, all of them were helpful and attentive, the breakfast food is awesome, everyone of the staff were polite, the room is clean and always maintained clean.

The location was perfect. It was tucked away at the top of the hill. Very close to the museum and quaint downtown area of restaurants. Away from the hustle and bustle. Romantic views!

Rooms are okay, tidy and without issues, they could give a complimentary bottle of water and not charge over 1€ for it though. Breakfast is nothing to write home about but the restaurant is actually pretty good and it was packed in the evening, always a good sign. The location is great too, a lot of things to see and walk around.

In a very quiet but next to the castle walls, and then to various museums. Hotel clean, smiling and helpful receptionist, spa for private use only 15 euros per couple. Highly recommended!

The hotel is located at the foot of the castle district in a quiet location. The bus stop is basically behind and a 5 minute walk (downhill) is the Metro stop, tram and other buses.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, if I go back to Budapest I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location for a calm stay with the luxury of having both the castle and public transportation very near. The food in the restaurant is great and the staff is very friendly.

We have 2010 a city trip taken: only one week to Vienna and then a week of Budapest. I booked this hotel on the Internet. The hotel castle garden is located below the castle on a hill. You have it walk just minutes to the Castle, the "fishermen's bastion" and the beautiful, old buildings, which invite you to take a walk and visit. Also at night you can eat there on the castle grounds well. Down in the city, a line bus, but on foot you can be down in 15 minutes at the train station. (Up takes a bit longer. :-) ) The rooms were clean, and a good bed, the bathroom is clean and there was a mini bar and an electric kettle with tea accessories. The service was in structure. We have tried the restaurant: it was alright. Breakfast was unfortunately not sooo doll, sausage was not refilled, scrambled eggs were long. But it was ok for us. I recommend this hotel for leisure travelers in any case.
