Surprisingly great! Good location, great service at the desk.

This hotel is in the center of many attractions, with the Matthaiss cathedral literally being several steps away, as well as Fisherman's Bastion. It over looks the heart of the city and is walkable regardless of your wanting to see the Pest or Buda side. In terms of accommodations however, the room is small, with a room for 2 really only of accommodating 1 person carrying a large suitcase comfortably. Therefore, if you plan to stay here, pack accordingly, especially of you're staying with another person. I did, unfortunately, have 1 bug incident when I saw a cockroach on the floor as I was walking to the restroom, but it was 1 all bug and there wasn't another incident. The reception took care of it immediately. Overall, if you're looking for an inexpensive and very accessible location, I would recommend the Burg Hotel.

It's a great location. Their windows have stunning views of St. Matea's Church. The rooms are very modest, but all you need to eat is a hairdryer, a mini fridge, a safe, normal plumbing. There are a lot of cafes, souvenir shops, there is a grocery store near the hotel. From the airport you can take the 100E bus and then the 16 bus, which stops 50 metres away. But the best thing about this hotel and for what I commend it is the view from the window and the location.

Hotel with top location and value — for money. View of the Mathias Church. Easy bus access to the city centre (16 and 16A). Small structural defects.

Excellent location and nothing more! Difficult to park; outdated rooms; no A-C when too hot inside ("just open the windows"! )

Great budget place to stay. Rooms are dated and mattress a bit thin, but more than compensated by the friendly and knowlegable staff, the best location in Budapest, the views from the bedroom, and the excellent free breakfast spread. Highly recommended for the price.

The location of the hotel is perfect. The breakfast was good. The Internet is normal. For a tourist trip for a couple of days advise.

Hotel really nice and friendly. Romantic and ideal place to spend a couple stay in the pearl of the danube named budapest. Very serene and quiet place with a select and discreet staff close to the jewels of the hill of buda and very well served by transport in order to reach the much more lively places of the pest coast of the Hungarian capital.

Nice hotel in a very beautiful place. From the room window there was a postrjasajushhij view of the church. The room was clean and the breakfast was great. There is a TV, but unfortunately there is no kettle, tea/coffee. Very uncomfortable pillows. Breakfast is good-tea/coffee/juices, cereal, jogutry, slicing, bread, omelette, sausages. Close to the shops and restaurants. Within walking distance of various attractions. 15 mins walk to the train station. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is situatet just in front of the square up in the hill. The view of the city from the square was something special. The room was clean. The staff was very friendly and willing to help. Possibilities for parking at 9 euros per day.

Amazing Location, lovely staff, best view in Budapest, nice rooms, will hope to stay during our next visit, would recommend a stay.

We (me and my girlfriend) had an amazing time in Budapest and the Burg hotel is one of the most friendly places we've ever been to. The staff was very helpful and informative, the room was clean and set up, and the view was something unbelievable. It is located in the Budapest center, with amazing shops and bars in the close walking distance. I forgot the mobile phone charger in my room and they returned it to me the next day via post for FREE. I highly recommend it!

Of rooms a beautiful look at Matthias Church.

Cosy, nice and tidy place. Friendly service. Multilingual service. Breakfast could be slightly better and if it were sitauted on the other side it would have been perfect. This said: breakfast was better than OK and the small hotel is sitauted quite well with good connections: bus stop in front of the hotel. Would go there again! :).
