I deeply regret to bring my family for staying here, with so many good hotels across the city and I’ve had this awful choice.
Staff at reception absolutely not prepared. The receptionist who received us was rude and unprofessional asking me questions that I felt insulted. He asked me to proof that I am my child’s mother and when I showed him the birth certificate — which is in English, he said I am not her mother because my name is not there — when it is! But he was unable to understand where is saying MOTHER and kept insisting that I am not her mother, so hotel cannot accept us. I had to explain so many times, like he presumed I was lying!
Then I asked him to charge our entire staying (2 rooms for 3 days) on my credit card and as I forgot the pin, I kindly asked if was possible to do manually once it is completely legal and acceptable since I have to sign the receipt as a proof that I agreed the transaction, right? So he said: no we cannot accept your credit card, because you may act in bad faith and void the payment taking the money back after using the hotel. That’s an absurd! I felt quite offended! In other words he called me dishonest, kind of criminal!
He managed to turn my staying here really unpleasant, unfortunately I cannot change hotel at this point because I don’t want to ruin my family holidays.
Plus, nobody helped us with luggage, we were struggling to transport everything whilst they were behind desk chatting and singing!
