Top location. Very good food. Good service. All in all, very high quality.

We went for breakfast second time & the service was extremely bad. We ordered French toast & 2 times came very badly cooked, no consistency at all. Different kind of bread used for the three time we got the French toast. The third time it was ok. To tell the truth we did not have the energy to complain again. Our Nordic egg Benedikt was not that great either. Finally when we wanted to pay, we had to wait for half an hour. Really, is this the same hotel I had my breakfast four days ago. Hard to believe. But yes it is the same hotel.

We had only breakfeast — need to meet Andrea — perfect host. We will stay here next time.

After initial hardships we got a great room. The staff from the reception is very friendly, accommodating and helpful, as well as the trainees from the housekeeping. A big compliment!

One of the most careful hotels I have visited in Germany the decoration is very beautiful and the staff are kind.

This place is amazing. Staff were extremely friendly and assisted us with great advice. Went to the harbour which they recommend for lunch yesterday which wa exceptional then back here for a delicious dinner. Our waiter Gadif was amazing. Park close by for a walk train, bus and train easy walking distance.

Great Hotel, the small Bar invites you to Linger, especially when the Pianist is there. Very nice Staff to highlight the young Bartenders! Best Location, the Kö, the Old town and The Banks of the Rhine in front of the Door. Rooms with a great Atmosphere, very clean. All in all, just recommended.

The hotel is perfectly suited for small events like a Krimi Dinner. Good Ambiente in the conference rooms, delicious dinner and humorlos play. Can definitely recommend giving it a try.

We were on the terrace for dinner on the terrace. The staff were friendly and at pains. Unfortunately, despite fewer guests, we waited over an hour for the food. As the terrace emptied, the vacant tables were not cleared.
Not acceptable for a 5 star hotel.

For a hotel of this class, however, you would expect a richer breakfast buffet with fresh bread rolls.

Very nice and elegant. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center. It is also 15 minuets cab ride from the airport.

I've been to many 4 * Business hotels. Even regardless of the occasion of this visit, the difference is really noticeable!
A few days before the booked night I approached the hotel: as part of my birthday I wanted to get engaged on the spot. I have made suggestions regarding rooms and decorations and they are perfectly implemented with attention to detail and all this at great price-performance. (Thank you very much, Mrs. Nicholls! )
Also my birthday was not forgotten the next morning, so the small attentions to the already courteous service and good quality of the breakfast put on the icing.
There is nothing to be wrong with the hotel. It has a great castle charm, a grand hotel just. Room in good condition, very clean and quiet, fitness — and sauna area is modern and beautiful. (Only: You burn yourself in the Finn. Sauna feet)

Posh hotel and excellent location; located at the shopping area and the Old Town. Its perfect for someone who is visiting Dusseldorf for the first time.

As expected, the Steigenberger in Düsseldorf is geared towards high demands. It is possible to book rooms for conferences or similar on a daily basis. The food is first class and the staff very accommodating. The hotel has come a little into the days, but completely without hesitation recommended. Have fun.

Really nice hotel. The location walking distance from shopping areas, walking paths and public transit is great. The staff is welcoming and make you feel right at home. During our stay the holiday markets nearby were nice. The rooms are clean and spacious with high ceilings. The amenities top notch such as slippers, robes even the Wi-Fi. Definitely the place to stay.

Nice interior. The canapés are a joke and the drinks extremely expensive. Discreet music wouldn't be bad either, whether it's classical or Ppp.

The service was amazing, and that is the least I could say about the hotel.

Luxury is found everywhere, the rooms are large and the minibar well stocked. The breakfast is a small party on its own with champagne and even vegetarian meat products.

Amazing welcome! So warm and so much attention! We came to celebrate a special occasion and every information we gave to the hotel (even trough Booking) was turned into something special from the people of the hotel to feel exceptional. We’ll come back for sure! Worth the price of the room. Definitively.

The hotel is grand and is located in a central location in Dusseldorf… a km near the Hbf perhaps. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful… A little expensive but can be visited :)

I just met a friend in the hotel lobby. Can't say much than it was a pleasant atmosphere for a short wait.

Stayed there for 3 nights… it was a luxury stay. :) rooms are big enough with proper lights and air (if you want, you can open the windows). Good food in breakfast. i only didn't like the internet plan. 500MB for 24 hours with a very slow speed. Also it made me feel bad, when I came back from my work, I found out that room cleaning through out my tooth pest and brush. It means, they don't know who is leaving and who is staying. other than that… it was a lovely stay. :)

Staff was really friendly, the food was great. Service overall left nothing to be desired. The Wi-Fi however was basically useless. I cannot rate their rooms because I only attended an event there.

The service was fine. The rooms that were supposed to be nonsmoking had obviously been smoked in (I tried two different rooms before deciding not to stay). A side note: I'm 99% sure that there was a drug deal happening outside one of the rooms, so this is definitely not the type of place for families with children.

All is perfect in this hotel, but when you have closed your room window you just hear the noise of the big fan system in the courtyard.
Very modern decorated in the old SIL. Very pleasant atmosphere.
Excellent service. Actually everything perfect.
BUT one huge drawback:
Even when the window is closed, you hear whirring the large ventilation system in the backyard.
Can you do not contain this ventilation system and pull off upward like a fireplace? At night just turn off?

The hotel is situated in the shopping street. Shop here for all dreamed of (mostly). Also close by are many great little bars and restaurants. Hotel Germany style is very strong, very chic. Some rooms are classical, but bathrooms are stylish. Equipped with nice toiletries, but drinking water is not free. If you feel thirsty when you wake up, and then next to a bottle of water to drink, so it charges appear on your bill prepared,

Excellent hotel. We got a deal online but whichever way you cut it this is not a cheap place to stay. That said the room was amazing and everyone made us feel welcome at what is pretty much the best hotel in Dusseldorf. It's also perfectly located right in the centre of town, 20 minute walk to the station and 5 minutes from the Altstadt.

If you are on Christmas Eve not want to cook, so the Steigenberger is the first address for the Christmas menu. Quality of food is excellent, as well as all the employees are very friendly. This is the more remarkable, because this is so, then no holiday.

Nice Hotel to stay with. Excellent service in the restaurant and perfect trained staff at the front office. Try the Steigenberger Eck and the Steigenburger. All in all a really good choice.
