My stay with Koko von Knebel was great… the staff was very nice and accommodating, I felt completely comfortable… come back. Even the dogs were courted.

The waiters are very good and polite but there’s a Very rude manager. I came to the bar alone wanting to have my dinner and drinks.
He came and rudely told me to leave if I’m not staying at the hotel as a guest and that a guest had complained to him about me before which doesn’t make sense at all.
He didn’t come to see what really happened just told me to leave the hotel.
I have stayed in the hotel a couple of times with my boyfriend and I will not recommend coming back here after such an incident.

Also the food in the Brasserie 1806 looks unequalled. Excellent wines of the hotel series inspire, you have to take the one or the other bottle also.

Found in the book "My Loverboy" by Vanessa Mayer the journey ended on the King's Avenue. The weekend should be spent at the Breidenbacher Hof.
Robert went ahead and handed the car over to an employee. Another employee was added and took care of the luggage. They were all meticulously uniformed and extremely polite. A man with a black cylinder then took her in front of the noble entrance and led her to the revolving door.
Then the two entered and again it was for Vanessa as if she would immerse in a new world. The Nobel Italian had been something very special for her. But this topped the Italian again by far. The hotel was a dream. So far, she only knew something like that from television.

I was now for the 3. There, am there, never been disappointed, everything was always perfect. I would love to come again!

The A capella bar is one of the best bars in Germany. Brilliant cocktails and the preparation is every time a class in itself. Are here to the end of the week happy guest.

One Of The Greatest Place In The World. Breidendbacher Hof, is a mixte of modernity bordering with friction, with middle east design and this makes it unique. The service is one of the best you can have. But for me is the best of all. Why? Because all 5 stars hotels try to give the best service, but what makes the difference here, is that you can feel that peoples are sincere, they really want to help, they love what they are doing and really makes you feel confortable. I personally feel at home in Breidenbacher Hof. You better try it once, you may certainelly come to the same conclusion like I do.

We were there for an overnight stay and a gourmet brunch. Both times the service of the staff as well as the quality completely convinced us. Real 5 stars in the heart of Düsseldorf.
Where you are always a little concerned about other hotels, whether agreements or wishes are taken into consideration and not forgotten, you can trust the staff here blindly!

Lights turned on and off randomly. Heater didn't work properly. Internet connection extremely slow and intermittent. First night bed sheets were extremely rough like sandpaper but pillows soft as silk. Toilet paper fell apart too easily. Have been to capella Singapore and this should not be a capella property. Also rooms are dated and dingy. Extremely disappointed after reading great reviews. We are seasoned travelers and this was rated as five stars, but I would not give one star. Service was wonderful.

Tremendous quality. We've had a business session at one of there meeting rooms. Service is great, the ambiance is buitifull and dinner and drinks are perfect. Hotel rooms are very nice! I love the classic look and feel.

The best hotel ive ever stayed in. Their service exceeds every expectation they make you feel special and a VIP. The details they care for each guest from the religion to personal care. The rooms are in a high tech the stationary, the in room refreshment are all free. Going to the living room which is exclusively only for the hotel guest and free refreshments. The personal assistance try their best to meet your request no matter what they are. `Finally the staff are very much delightful and cheerful. The location of the hotel is perfect going to the old town and the famous brand street. i do recommend this hotel very much.

The most luxurious place you could stay in the city of Düsseldrof. The General Manager was very accommodating and cares about his guests. We stayed back in 2014. The restaurant offered great food too!

Breakfast in the Brasserie 1806: varied selection and partly very good service
For me it was the first visit to the brasserie 1806 of the Breidenbacher Hof. So we were initially a little irritated when the waiter who had accompanied us to the table assumed that we knew what to consider with the different breakfast buffets. We also found it unusual that he brought us the first drinks, but did not give us a gift.
Afterwards we were served by another waiter, who was very accommodating and cordial. At the beginning, he asked, unsolicited, whether we had had breakfast in the Brasserie 1806 and then explained very understandably how the whole thing works. Due to its service, which was very attentive, competent and friendly, and the delicious and varied offer, we spent a great morning here. So I would like to praise and thank the hotel and especially the waiter, Tiago, because we were able to enjoy our stay really well through him.

This rating is only meant for the Capella Bar & Cigar Lounge (should have its own facebookpage like in some 5 stars hotels by the way).
Some friends and myself visit the bar every 2 months when we're in Düsseldorf and I can truly say I don't know one bar where the gap between national/international recognition/fame and the quality & creativity of the Drinks and menu is so big. Most people even within the mixology world were never here or didn't even hear of it in specific while the mixology and service here is some of the best in Germany. Its one of the two best hotel bars (Ritz in Berlin with the Curtain Club and Fragrances being the other one) in Germany and in the top 10 worldwide (and i've visited quite a lot until now) for me. Of course you have all the benefits of the hotels resources like in every hotel bar but while they could be satisfied with that and lay back they chose to create new menues every 5-6 months in my experience, always having a new twist in it and great artwork like right now with the movie classics theme. The presentation as well as the composition of the drinks is superb, also the number of signatures is spot on (not too many but more than enough).

It is a shame that such a wonderful Bar has such a mediocre and unfriendly service. Also, it is the only Hotel Bar I have ever stayed at, that charges you for smoking your own cigars, a definite no-go! Apart from that the atmosphere is really nice as are the drinks. The Bar has won awards for its cocktails. In the evenings, or at least the last few times I have been there, there is a live piano player which makes for a relaxing atmosphere. For any Tesla/electric car owners: even though the Hotel will tell you the nearest charging spot is around a mile away, there is one just across the road in the parking of Kaufhof. Charging there is free but parking costs do occur.

An amazing hotel that deserves 5 stars in every aspect. The hotel staff had amazing service and were very attentive to your every question. Likewise, everyone there greets you with a smile and makes u feel special. The rooms were really large and spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable too as well. Would definitely come back again.

Creative and flavorful drinks! A wonderful variety of interesting snacks. Great service, music, and atmosphere. They even brought me a cranberry iced tea to hold me over in between drinks!

The Hotel has 5 stars more than deserved. In this Hotel everything is just perfect. I had this year, the lucky, there is an internship to be able to make. It was just wonderful. I was in the whole of the Breidenbacher Hof Team like in a big family sincerely included. In case of questions, of course you always have the perfect partner. Of course, the work is also wonderful. I have stayed twice at the Breidenbacher Hof recently.
The first time I was thrilled by the coffee. This was not the case now. Probably, they have changed the variety. What a pity!

A 5-star hotel of the highest quality. Very comfortable, equipped with the latest technology rooms, excellent service and ideal located.

Smoker's Lounge/cigar lounge can't be topped. Whisky/whiskey selection terrific.

Here you can relax and be pampered. Also for Düsseldorf conditions an absolute top address. One should gaze not stest on prices, the whole thing has also a certain price, so here also 4 instead of 5 points are awarded. Fantastic atmosphere, not intrusive staff, tasteful, what you want more.
