We had a great stay celebrating my 50tj birthday Friday and professionalism staff.

Very clean and courteous staff.

The hotel itself is top. Just a very unfriendly and uncompensated employee A. A. At the reception, which does not fit into this hotel at all, leaves much to be desired and should rather look for another job, as it only harms this hotel and I will not stay there for this reason.

Central location, extremely friendly and helpful staff!

We were here last week for 4 nights and it is a good hotel but 2 things. The bathroom was never cleaned during our 4 night stay, only change of shower linnen. That is not good for such a hotel. Because we booked via booking. Com it was not possible for reception to give us a refund. That is only possible when booked directly at the hotel. Also not good. Coffee cups are not automatically refilled in the room, this is done only once in 4 days. You can ask reception for coffee cups etc. The reception is often very busy so you feel not good asking for coffee cups.

Breakfast buffet highly recommended clean hotel well on foot.

This hotel charged us for our cancelled reservation due to pandemi of Covid 19! They do not obey their own government law! This hotel is a theft! I believe not only us becomes their victim. I will never make any booking in this hotel in the future for sure and hope somebody out there with the same issue, bring you to the court because of this!

Great hotel, except for one "but". During a time when the is raging and countries close their The hotel management believes that it does not obey the laws, principles of morality and other ethical rules. The thirst for allows you to close your eyes to everything. An order from the authorities is not a decree for you.
Good luck with your hotel and prosperity to your management. When you will visit Russia, bringing the virus to us, I hope your funds will be written off in a similar way without the right to To the situation. The hotel was informed that state authorities had into the area infected with the coronavirus. However, the hotel refused to enter the situation and still debited the funds. Referring to some request from the hotel manager. I am ashamed of you. And for your attempts to be higher than the situation. I hope people will see the customer focus on the leadership and help you achieve your planned revenue with a minus sign.

Only two small desks for check in and check out, so there’s a queue that can take up to half an hour.
Uninterested staff, way too warm everywhere in the hotel. So we had to sleep with the window wide open with 4 degrees outside.
At 8.30 the maid knocked at the door to clean the room (during the holidays).
We had a drink in the bar, had to find a waiter to ask for the bill and finally had to bring the money to the bar as the waiters were to busy chatting amongst themselves to pick up the money and bring the change.

Air conditioning system and TV is not working in the rooms! Also, my money is stolen from my locked safety box! Although all of my struggle and police reports, I couldn’t take my money back from hotel management! This is the worst hotel I have ever been and it was the worst experience for me! Never and ever recommend to anyone!

We had two beds that were single and pushed up into the wall the most uncomfortable things I've ever slept on in my life staff were ok but the hotel not value for money.

Worst hotel I ever stayed in my life. Ordered room service but the staff didn’t order my food because she forgot asking my room number. They kept waiting me 2 hrs for nothing. Horrible! Can’t believe this is 4 star hotel. Japanese staff was great. But overall… they are worst hotel I ever stayed in my entire life.

Switch into another world:
Good service, great bar and fantastic restaurant within Japanese surroundings in the middle of Düsseldorf. Last not least comfortable mattresses and excellent breakfast.

This hotel sucks. AC doesn't work. Staff said temperature cannot be changed (26 degrees Celsius… are you freakin' kidding me?! My comfort level for sleeping is not more than 20 degrees Celsius! ). Even if the windows are open these German style windows just wouldn't let much air in! I asked for a maintenance guy and I was told that he went home already. No luck for the next day either because no one freakin' works on Sundays here! Motel 6 is better than this joint!

Safe Haven @ a crazy hot day. We just moved in the Lobby and stuck there for the evening. Food disappointed us. But service was excellent. Nice atmosphere.

When researching hotels, we chose Hotel Nikko as it had a pool. There was no mention of additional costs to use the pool and we assumed this was included in the hotel price. When checking in we were told about breakfast and that it would be extra, we said No. The next morning we asked what floor the pool was and were told that we would have to pay 15 euros a day to use the pool/spa facility. Outrageous! Also the coffee/tea facility used pods, we had to call reception a few times for tea refills and also for toilet paper as it was not replaced when room was cleaned. The room was clean, spacious and hotel was close to the train station. However attention to detail and the pool put a bit of a downer on our stay.

Good hotel in a good location, walking distance from the Kö. Japanese style, in the Japanese area of Dusseldorf. Plenty of small shops downstairs, for luxury products but also hairdressers. Bit busy at the front desk though, you almost always have to wait a few minutes. Rooms are decent, clean and very silent / well isolated. Giant place, we normally don't book and just walk in, and they basically always have rooms available.

It is a beautiful hotel. Very clean. I liked the room very much.
However, even though I had breakfast included, I had to pay extra for my freshly squeezed orange juice — and I didn't get that information until I had drunk it.
Before this situation there was an evacuation of the hotel by triggering an alarm. I was very frightened at how the staff didn't take care of the guests. Staff took the opportunity to take a smoking break.

I really like Hotel Nikko. Their restaurant is amazing and the hotel rooms too! They also got a nice gift store where I like to shop for おみやげ (omiyage) from Germany for my Japanese friends and family.

Hotel Nikko Dusseldorf is a lovely contemporary hotel in the center of the Asian district. Plenty of Sushi, and other Asian type restaurants around. Hotel is located about a 15-minute stroll from the Altstadt (Old Town) and every restaurant and shopping option you might imagine. The rooms at the Nikko are expansive and very well maintained. I may have had one of those unusual odd-shaped rooms because it was extra big. Bathroom was spotless with plenty of hot water in the large shower. I only spoke with the main desk staff and they were wonderful. Didn't eat in the hotel.

The hotel is very expensive. Of the pros: a good location, around a lot of cafes and walk to the Old Town and the train station; Large light rooms, the rooms have everything for making coffee. The bathroom has good plumbing — faucets, grohe shower. Cons: first there were problems with the Internet, then with the bottom valve in the sink, very inconveniently located shower and partition in the bathroom (to take a shower you need to go into the bath, the difficulty is that you need to step on the ramp. To fall). Breakfasts are quite average, although the choice on them is large. The hotel blocks the entire amount for accommodation at once, so when leaving it is necessary to say that the amount is already blocked — then they remove the lock. Otherwise, you can withdraw the amount twice, and the money from the lock will not be returned immediately.

I checked in for three nights. Upon arrival I added the breakfast option and got an upgrade to the 8th floor (made the breakfast a little cheaper) — with use of the Spa — beautiful view and a really big and clean room! The employees were really nice and competent. Leaving your luggage at a seperate room in the Lobby is not a problem. Definitely recommend this place!

They've recently renovated the whole hotel. The rooms are better than before. The bed is fluffy, free spa and their restaurant is excellent. Nothing to complain about it. If you find the breakfast/restaurant too expensive then I recommend people to explore the area. There are many cafe, onigirishop, restaurants around the area.

Amazing internation hotel, very perfect for business meetings… Nice, kind and friendly personnel and a very great gastronomic offer. Also the rooms are amazing and clean, you feel almost like home with all the comfort ^^ You are definitely making the right choice here!

In the process of renovation work some area's are nice. In some areas there are building activities. The conference floor was great. The breakfast was excellent. However in my room the sink of the shower was blocked. They didn't fix it for the next day.

No goodwill whatsoever (never seen before).
Unfortunately, I have exceeded the free cancellation period by 1.5h (still + 22h before checkin cancelled). The hotel still insisted on paying the full cancellation fee (1 night).
I'm on a trip every week and I've never seen anything like it before.
Here I will not book again!

Really nice hotel, nice staff, nice food but good lord the ACs do not work. It would be 5 stars if they only fixed the ACs. My room was at 31 degrees last night but got moved to a room I cannot cool more than 24 degrees. Considering I live in a hot country and always have the ACs on, it's difficult to get comfortable. Oh and you cannot open the window.

Great staff, worst maintenance, the room was very hot, they offered a Fan!, Then they changed the room, the new room's bathroom door stuck, they changed the room, the next room had blood on the floor and bathroom door, missing furniture, missing water! The twin beds was touching each other even when tried to separate them they still close to each other which is really sick when you with your friend! Never will go again, Highly Not recommended.

Unfortunate that they were renovating the hotel — and didn't warn us in advance. They also had major problems with the heating system (it was very hot in the bedrooms and corridors) and the pool area is looking very shabby and in need of repair and modernisation. The breakfast was very ordinary so unless it is included in your room price I would suggest you go to one of the nice cafes nearby. On the plus side, the staff are very helpful and friendly, the hotel is well situated and we have stayed here as a family several times in the past and until this time, we have always enjoyed it.

Great staff, very helpful and courteous. Very clean and stylish & elegant room. Great location with a quite room and very comfortable bed. One of the best hotels I've stayed in, and I travel a lot international as well as within the US. This hotel definitely deserves more than just 5 stars!

It is Hotel for business and with much relationship with Japanese companies.

I give two stars for excellent breakfast and good location. Otherwise — stay as far as possible from this hotel till you get a clear guaranteed information that their reparation works are finished. I stayed there yesterday for a busyness trip, needed to take a good rest before the important event in the evening but they began the works at 9am and did not stop for a second until 14am. I lived on the second floor and the noise was absolutely unbearable. I had a feeling that one drills directly into my head. It became impossible to stay in the room and I went to the reception in order to get some support and help but they shown absolutely no interest, contenting themselves with "sorry, they have to work on the renovations on the parking and we have no free rooms to change". The management of this hotel clearly does not care about their clients and their minimal comfort, settling customers directly above the construction works, turning their visit into a nightmare, taking care only of management's profit. Never again.

Very nice room — was probably newly refurbished. The breakfast was plentiful and in good quality. The egg dishes and the waffles were freshly prepared. However, it was very cold in the breakfast area. The prices at the bar were totally overpriced — so I can't recommend it. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Düsseldorf. Good Asian restaurants are located in the immediate vicinity. We recommend the Yabase… great Sushi. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Know the hotel from about 17 years ago and recently had a training here again for the first time. Was shocked, from then on it was very positive in the memory, I can no longer say that now. Somehow average, that's not all. Since I have not stayed this time, I can only judge this for the seminar area and for lunch. However, I am afraid that the rooms are still unchanged and would therefore be more disappointing today. What a pity. Parking is, by the way, outrageously expensive, better to look two/three streets further in one of the parking garages near the station.

I was at a medical symposium. The room was even humbled by suitable, was also difficult to find-almost no signs. Overall poor organization. The staff has broken cups and plates several times. The food was delicious, therefore 2 instead of 1 star.

It is currently being rebuilt until the end of March. Therefore more likely to grow. No lobby. Park House search has been rather complicated. Reception on the first floor. A single construction site.

It is as described one of the largest non-mythical hotel without east entrance. I was a little skeptical because we all know that the sun is going up there. But time Heiltalle wounds.

Been a customer a few times. However had to find my way into hotel as its beeing redecorated which was not pleasant. Arrived totally dishevelled and my card did not work. Reception should handle it with discretion and not shout across the improvised lobby what the issue is. I would have expected professional behaviour, accomodating the issue and working towards a solution with customer?! wont be coming back!

Beautiful Japanese run hotel. Expensive but nice.

I was greeted at the reception with: "… And they're? "Then I got a room over which was built. As I understand the renovation work, I asked when they started. I was told by the front desk at 9 o'clock, which was OK for me since I'm already at the meeting. However, at night creaked a door constantly and 7.30Uhr was started to drill. So I hardly found sleep. Next time I would like to ask for friendly staff who will give me the right information and give me a room where at least I can rest at night.

Attractive house with renovated rooms. The Hotel Nikko is centrally located. A few minutes walk to the central Station and the city centre. The reception was super friendly and accommodating. From the outside, the hotel is unattractive, but it changes when you enter the lobby. We lived in a newly renovated suite and felt very comfortable. If the lady on the floor becomes more careful with her duties, then one can feel completely comfortable.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff and very clean and large rooms. A double bed is actually a double bed instead of two singles pushed together which is a big plus! Only thing we didn't see is the breakfast as it's €29, — per person! Otherwise very worth it. Pool area/spa is also nicely cleaned and you'll have a nice panoramic view of Düsseldorf from the 8th floor of the hotel.

We go to Nikko for the karaoke rooms, which are downstairs. The karaoke system is a good setup with an electronic panel that has English and Japanese modes, and A decent selection of popular English and Asian songs. The only real negative for me is the ridiculous beer prices: 8€ for a pint, around double a normal bar, considering you are paying for use of the room already it's a bit high.

Good location. The room was spacious, but my daughter pointed out that it smelled like grandpa (we agreed. ) Shower had trouble keeping a constant temperature as it kept switching between cold and super hot. Automated elevator system worked very efficiently. The swimming pool had nice views over the city and the pool itself was bigger than the average hotel pool. Bit nippy though. Breakfast was nice, a plus for the soy milk. Parking was 25 euros a day, but we found a parking lot around the corner for 5 euros a day.

Staff was really nice and friendly and the rooms perfect! Clean and comfortable. Definitely coming again. Only Wifi didn't work quite well. Location was perfect, just a couple of minutes from main station.

Room had everything I could have wished for. Really enjoyed the stay. Friendly service and check-in / check-out times.

Excellent hotel, very well located to visit the city.
Very close to the train station. Comfortable room Though the bathroom a bit fair. You can enjoy the panoramic views from the pool, located in a tower on the top floor. There are also several types of sauna, and a small gym.

The room size is appropriate, there is a sofa and a desk, soft lighting, very quiet. The lobby was great and the reception staff were very friendly and the girls were very nice.
The station is five minutes away from the center of the old Town and is also very near and convenient.
Downstairs a lot of Japanese restaurants, Chinese restaurants, as well as Korean people open a large Asian super. It is very convenient to stay in Germany, it is not easy to live in such a high performance hotel.

The location is excellent. Everything is within walking distance — the old city, with "beer" streets, shopping malls. The hotel has its own sauna pool, spa. The pool offers a stunning view of the city-it-super. The staff are friendly. There is a restaurant on site where you can eat during the day. Paid parking.

The room was fantastic, it was the most simple room but it was just renovated and looked very posh! The bathroom and beds were excellent! Staff was wonderful.

Hotel Fort Old and expensive.

Group of 10, for 4 day spa access — this hotels wants 600EUR extra! We are staying at the hotel this weekend (in 2 days time) and I want to discuss this charge. I have been emailing the hotel for the past 2 days trying to get in touch — no response so far. No customer service. Let's see if I get a reply in time. 2 days and counting! UPDATE: 1 day and counting, no reply! UPDATE: 0 days and counting, no reply!

The hotel is located in the city centre of Düsseldorf with a lot of important locations in walking distance. The breakfast buffet is a good. The only problem was that my room was very hot because the lights especially in summer create additional increase in room temperature. Nevertheless I would recommend a stay.

Great central location, rooms are comfortable. Looking a little bit aged in the design but very clean and tidy. Staff are friendly and helpful, which is a major plus at any hotel. Only criticism, is that the rooms were too hot and ventilation system didn't seem to cool the rooms. Just for reference it was the 2nd wk in April 2017, temperatures were 10 — 14 deg C, so very cold for time of year. Hence my 4 stars.

Location is close to centre but parking garage very expensive €25 per night. Room is neat but Bathroom with a small tub I guess is better to renovate and make it as open raining shower more modern & comfy. For a facility has to pay extra €15 pp. But no Jacuzzi and the pool water temperature is too cold. Internet has an free option but forget it if you wanna watch film or YouTube from your iPad, connection too slow. The room air conditioning only blowing but no cold air, they provide small fan and request to open the window the whole time so you can hear children screaming from school behind during the day and sounds of cars during the night. For the rest, they try to do their best in service.

Showering is a challenge, the glass wall does not even cover half the tub…
The breakfast is excellent!
The beverage prices, however, are outrageous!
A bottle of wine, which costs about 6 euros in purchase, is sold here for 33 euros (! ) further…

Typical Japanese hotel, 4 stars but scarce, price for excessive room, in the city you will find better at the same price. Take it if you are comfortable.

Overrated and cold staff. Left behind a gift by accident and called the next day. They claimed nothing was found besides that there are no parking arrangements, gym is minuscule no ice machine and no iron.

Sucks — internet does not even work here. Stay some where else.

Last minute business booking and loved it. Booked a deluxe room. Staff was quick and cordial, spa was excellent, rooms were clean and spacious. Internet is a but clunky and they need to accomodate multi device. Good value. I will return.

Food is excellent, room very well. Hot announced by the spa I expected more.

A closet for €150, Wi-Fi access not included, but 24 € (! ) on top. Receive only a blanket in double bed, Bill only on demand.

As location, we could play on Nikko Hotel Düsseldorf already at a customer event and meet intensively.
Polarizing design, delicious cuisine and a fantastic view from the top floor pool impressed us as well as the knowledgeable and friendly sales staff. We can recommend it for conferences, meetings and congresses. Best with a round of Office Golf and hotel golf.

But better rooms in other hotels cost good hotel rooms, to have. Breakfast was fantastic. One of the best I've ever had.

We have chosen this hotel for a weekend trip and we had good experience with it. This hotel is perfectly situated in the city center of Duessledorf. We could reach the shopping street "Königsalle" and Old Town by foot. So for your evening entertainment you did have a lot of choices. After a long shopping tour we granted ourselves the nikko spa club. Although we had to pay the entrance, it was worth it. We enjoyed a wonderful view over Duessledorf. The day after we had a nice breakfast. All in all we had a nice stay and we can recommend this hotel for a city trip.

The interior of the hotel looks fairly dated. Some of the staff are not friendly or indifferent. Some staff also has poor command of German. It took more than an hour to get a decent bed for a small child in our room, despite asking for one during booking. The first bed was unsafe, the second broken beyond use. We were told no other bed was available. After complaining to the front desk, we got a proper bed right away. Breakfast was good. Staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean. For a five star hotel, you would expect certain things, such as access to the spa to be included with the room fee. However, everything costs extra. You would also expect the room to have a bath, since it is a five star hotel and a Japanese one at that. However all we had was a shower.
