Rooms quite small but very modern furnished. The bathroom is modern u clean. The ambience of the hotel is positiv/modern. Large lobby first seems what "cool" the integrated bar is cozy u the coktails very tasty. Staff throughout the house very friendly, courteous and dedicated. One is directly close to the center, cinema, bars, cafes, bakeries kiosk, Saturn … Everything close to the Rhine is not too far away.

Motel One. Solidist value for money of the Republic.
Always good beds, strong water pressure, clean rooms, friendly staff and usable locations.
Really fascinating why they make it and others don't. You can argue about the design or you turn an eye to the place …

Good Motel One Standard. Unfortunately, no garage. The public nearby is an imposition. Staff at the hotel polite as always.

Modern & clean. Very small room, but if you're just there to sleep, perfectly ok. Everything you need (table, stool, TV, shelf, bathroom clean).
Breakfast is lace! (Great selection, all fresh organic products). Staff very friendly.

Modern beautifully maintained hotel. Rooms were modern and clean. Staff were super friendly. The breakfast was delicious, lots of choice and for everyone what. By taxi (standing directly at the hotel) to Cologne Cathedral in about 10min for about 9€. Bath was small but fine. Thank you for the lovely stay. We will certainly be back.

Beautiful modern hotel. The location is very good, you can get directly to the cathedral by taxi for €9am. Very nice staff in the bar and at the reception. Breakfast is also good. You can eat well in the immediate vicinity, there are some restaurants and pubs nearby.
Parking in the nearby public parliament house is not very expensive at €15, 000 a day either.

Rooms are modern, adequate, clean and okay breakfast: since I liked it hearty, I was missing scrambled eggs with bacon. I don't care about the whole Biogedöhns, because it's usually a lie.
If you do not catch a high table as a 2Meter person, then you will sit in a little pinched at the table the staff is very friendly and helpful.
All in all the value for money is right, the hotel I can recommend and will definitely be there again.

For the second time here and again very satisfied. Check in friendly and fast. The room was clean and comfortable. Were certainly not the last time here.

Often already have good experiences with the hotels of the motel one group. Also here in Cologne everything as usual.
Nice modern design, the rooms are kept simple, mostly small and purpose-designed.
Our room was very clean and even earlier than indicated ready for occupancy. Only drawback due to the ventilation in the bathroom came cigarette smoke pulled into the room. But it's more like a hotel guest who doesn't keep up with the rules.
The check in at the reception went fast and the staff was very friendly.
In the surroundings directly on the MediaPark are several restaurants and cafes, the U — and S-Bahn is reachable in about 5-10 min.
Affordable budget hotel especially suited for short trips and business trips.

Comfy bed but only the other half pricey for a 3star but this is normal when the city is busy with fairs and trade shows. Basic breakfast, only the boiled egg was hot… and the coffee. Why does the door need an eternity to close and when I pull it it closes with a bang? I could reach the entrance of the hitel by the time it fully closes…

Great hotel with good facilities. The room was very small.
Breakfast is a bit uncomfortable as people who check in or out run through the breakfast area. And at peak times you have to wait, because there are few places.
Everything else was fine.

Was there with my Boyfriend for 2 Nights over New Year's Eve. A really very nice Hotel. Small Rooms, but very clean and comfortable Beds. The Breakfast was good, it was all there that mam needed. Friendly Staff and great Ambience. Really highly recommended For the Price:)

Actually room a bit small but functional the rest is a hotel all the rest exceeds expectations.

Went there to meet a friend. We had breakfast there. Firstly they couldn't inform their guest of my arrival as they don't have intercom or room phones. Secondly although the name 'Motel' suggests otherwise they don't have parking. Thirdly the breakfast is very very basic. Only the coffee was ok. The rest rather lousy. Very hard boiled eggs. No other variety. Rubbery cheeses and pale cold cuts. Even the croissant was small and not a butter croissant. For 9 Euro per person and 3 bucks parking fee you better meet and eat outside. Can't tell much about the rooms though.

Had only 2 nights stay. Breakfast was adequate and tasty. However, in the lobby rather than in a separate room. Room clean. I would say for a few days totally fine. Better always goes. But as a motel good.

This is a budget hotel officially, but the question is what we understand under budget. From my view they can compete with any 4 star hotel, except that all is small. Rooms are really small, same for bathrooms, but equipped like in your 4 star considering space. Breakfast is also cheap, of course smaller than in 4 star, but high quality. I highly recommend this as long as you accept small rooms.

Okay Motel One is simply called but with a certain Standard … Here some things didn't go at all: Mattresses were completely steeped I slept in a Hole and despite several Hints nothing was corrected, Room was small but otherwise okay, Hallway has come in the Years, Reception and bar are nice, breakfast was OK but the Staff completely Overwhelmed with clearing … Too bad you know it differently … Internet is free of charge, but it is of no use as it does not work in large Parts of the Hotel …

Very noisy. Doors banging all the time. Housekeeping interrupted my sleep despite "do not disturb" sign on door. Building was far too warm with a thick duvet on the bed as the only option. Good breakfast and location was quite good, although a bit far from centre of town.

Typical Motel one — room with balcony is the best size. Staff is friendly and helpful.

This is by far the most unfriendly motel one I have ever met. The staff at the front desk was so rude that my wife and I, since we arrived before 18:00 am, still immediately cancelled the room.
It is also not possible to keep short in front of the hotel and unload the suitcases and suits.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms are relatively small but well maintained and very cosy. You have everything here to Wohlzufülen (comfortable big bed, nice shower etc. ) The location of the Mediapark is very good.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. Due to the main road, the open window is not always optimally usable, but it is considered.
If you arrive by train you should take a taxi to the hotel. Running is not the best option.
Otherwise everything is satisfactory as far as possible.

The quality of the hotel is consistent with all the other Motel One hotels. The rooms are clean, modern and functional. For breakfast you can expect a good assortment of bread, buns, cereals and fruits. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This hotel is very modern and clean. They have a pretty good bar as well as a nice breakfast. The only thing missing here is a mini fridge in the room.

Usual good … :-) If the opportunity presents itself, I take the opportunity, in a Motel One to descend. So also on the occasion of a training in the Media Park in Cologne, which is directly opposite. The Hotel in the media Park represents visually and in terms of Service, the Motel One Standard. That is to say: a Budget Business Hotel, modern designed and conducted. Well: is to be paid at the time of registration, which the Check-out usually consists of the submission of the room key card. Staff nice, polite and attentive. Special request (= can I leave my suitcase're here tonight? ) — not a Problem. Breakfast: not too expensive, however, sufficient and, therefore, from my point of view is recommended. Accessibility? U-Bahn-Station to the media Park is directly around the corner. Conclusion: Can recommend the Motel One only.

Very well designed rooms. Particularly the bathroom I find functional and beautiful. At the Breakfast buffet there was a good selection of organic items and fairtrade coffee. The staff was very friendly.

Arrived at the Hotel, we were received very nice. Our double room was clean and decorated in a modern style. The bathroom was very modern, high-quality and you could feel even in the smallest space. Deductions of points gets the room, the mattresses were very soft and the noise level was very high (main road). The room itself was, for this price is definitely too small. The bar area and the Lobby were very comfortable, and in the Background a chilige music delivery. The bar staff was very friendly and attentive. We were able to leave our day in the cosy Seating corners, with a delicious Cocktail. The next Morning we wanted to start with a delicious and leisurely Breakfast in the day. Get out of the Elevator, we met a lady who asked if we want Breakfast. The entire lobby area and the bar area was completely filled with people who were all at the Breakfast. So we had to look around briefly to find a place for Breakfast. We were offered to others to the table to sit, which I personally not necessarily preferred. Others even had to wait for a free table to eat Breakfast. This is, in my eyes, not at all. It was totally crowded and far too little Seating for all guests. The Buffet was neatly arranged, it was all needed because what if it was there. When I went the second time to the Buffet was almost empty. It was 10:30 o'clock no rolls more (no more have been replenished, Breakfast was until 11am! ), the fruit was all of the other things were empty.

Very stylish and modern, a small but fine Bar, friendly staff, had. Long drinks were good, and myself as a whisky connoisseur, was very served by the bartender a whiskey without ice or water… TOP

Two shared! Very Central to all the attractions and also to the media Park, Cinedome, and the rings… but also VERY loud! A sleep with tilted window was really only possible to a limited extent. All around there are beautiful Restaurants! And a lot of night-time police and fire operations^^

Very clean and just like the Rest of the hotel, very stylish and modern. However, the actual room was (without the bathroom) is just +-10m2 had large (worked 3 x 2.5 m the main room and 2 x 1 m of the floor), the TV strong interference, but the Rest is flawless! Bathroom ****
The bathroom was very modern and beautiful, and as small! There was a nice shower area and installed high quality fittings and utensils. With 2 people you had to turn difficulty.

Were from Easter Sunday (2 Pers. ) until Thursday, 31.3.2016 in this house. Can recommend this Hotel only further. Everything was great, particularly worth mentioning is the friendly staff.

Attention! Directions and Parking situation is an absolute disaster. Opposite a car Park, but walk far-and a 15 Euro Parking fee overnight… Total rip off!

The Hotel (2 people) inhabited for two days. First, the Positive: it is very youthful, modern and chic. Both the Lobby and the rooms have a great Standard and are very well maintained. We had booked Overnight stay with Breakfast. The Breakfast was good and absolutely sufficient. The coffee and and. The varieties came from the vending machine. The Service was always perfect and there's nothing wrong with that. Now for the Negative: there is no phone in the room. You would have a Problem, contact the Lobby. (Yet) there is no soap in the bathroom. Hands you wash with the shower gel. Further, the extractor fan in the bathroom should work better, i. E. Better performance… it seemed to me than the existing one too would have power. The beds are unfortunately very soft, think of H2. And, unfortunately, you can't change this. But all in All, is recommend the Motel One for short trips. If there would still be some harder beds it would be the 5th star.

Always gladly again. Have now stayed at 150. If you are inside a room, you can even sleep with the window open. The Breakfast is sufficient. No Scrambled Eggs.

To make for this class. The Quasi — Standard of the Motel One houses is visually pleasing, functional, and absolutely appropriate. The room is clean, nicely decorated and has a nice large bed. The only drawback is the Breakfast area, which is divided from the path from the Elevator to the exit / reception. That makes it a little uneasy, but it is still bearable. Overall, everything is fine.

Good location with wide choice of local restaurants, but very basic room and service in the hotel itself.

Standard business hotel in Germany. Simple room facility, breakfast and service. A little far from nearest station.
