Zentrales Hotel. 20Min. Laufweg zum Dom/Altstadt. Sehr schönes Zimmer wie beschrieben, ruhige Lage und gemütliche Atmosphäre! Personal war sehr freundlich und für alle Fragen offen! Frühstück war auch sehr gut und vollkommen ausreichend vom Angebot her! Würde das Hotel für einen Aufenthalt in Köln usw. Wieder buchen!

For a quick night okay. Breakfast better not. Coffee is more coloured water and scrambled eggs are cold and watery. I stopped and had breakfast somewhere else.

Nice hotel not far from Cologne city centre. Good sized room with shower. Bed comfortable and room very quiet.

Breakfast is fine. Location is good. However, it was quite dirty in the room, cleaning is not the best. Moreover, we had awkward situation when came to the room around 7pm after being in the city centre. A guy did cleaning there, and when he saw us he started to complain that he was tired, he was almost dead, and he was alone who did cleaning in the hotel. He was quite clumpsy and dropped chemicals for toilet on the bed, and when he kept garbage from garbage bin, it also fell down.

It's great! From the center is a 15-minute walk.

Absolutely terrible experience with this hotel. Arriving at around 12am midnight, we are greeted with a staff who almost doesn’t know English. And then we are escorted to our room with a long staircase, that we must carry our heavy suitcases all the way up. The room is not clean, dark and some door locks are faulty. The worst is that the smoke detector beeps loudly every minute as its battery is out. We must go down to the reception for help. However, the receptionist doesn’t even know what “Smoke detector” in English is. At the end he came up to our room and reluctantly removed the detector. He promised us the detector will be installed again the day after, but it never happened.

Nice position I Koln centre, excellent breakfast, small rooms without A/C.

Close to downtown, cheap, clean rooms and very nice. Highly recommended.

Will not recommend this hotel. A bit of a walk to city centre. Photos on the website is a little deceiving as the place looks rather old. I stayed in the attic and it wasn't very well-ventilated. Towel on the first day was not clean and the carpeted floor, if you look closely is NOT clean, which may be the reason why both my husband and I fell ill there…

Wonderful hotel! Close to the center, comfortable large rooms, very friendly staff, and excellent breakfast. They even held our luggage for the whole day after we checked out. Gave us recommendations for food and nice places to walk. Would definitely stay again!

Good budget hotel with clean, spacious rooms and washrooms what's expected of a budget hotel. Wifi could be improved as it kept disconnecting.

Breakfast good. Room was o. K. And clean. However in the morning its relatively loud and you wake up. Parking fee is too high (12 euro per night).

Breakfast is enough. You just have to learn something else.
For me it is important that I am bursting in the bathroom is not a slim person (rooms 12) is small but works everything.
Staff is friendly and accommodating. Asked for a 2nd pillow got it promptly to the room.
The hotel is well within walking distance of the tram. And on foot you can reach everything your heart desires. The cathedral is within walking distance of 30min.
With the KVG (public transport) with a one-way change of about 8 to 10 min comes to the connection on it.
Were at carnival time there and at night everything was quiet so I'll come back.

Horrible Place! Avoid. Here are some of the worst issues I found: 1. Poor service. Asked for an extra pillow and got told 'oh we are a small hotel, we don't have such things'. Well, if you're such a small hotel, charge a small hotel price! For the price we paid, we expected slightly better! 2. Dirty. Look at the picture. Trash and bedsheets etc gets left over outside doors. Don't expect it to be cleaned. 3. Smelly. There is a persistent smoke smell in the room (we stayed in a carpeted floor room). Had to endure this terrible stench for 4 nights. It was horrible and I fell sick during my stay there. 4. Unclean. The bath towels were not clean. The carpeted floor is disgusting. 5. Uncomfortable. Mattress is very worn down making it very uneven and discomforting. Pillows were far far to thin. 6. Bad location. Honestly, the location was not near any of the landmarks and to reach one you had to walk 15-20 mins. 7. Slightly rude. On the night before we checked out, I asked the lady at the counter for the check out time. She kindly told us '2 pm'. The next day, we were out till 1ish and came back at 1.30pm. The manager saw us and said 'Oh finally there you are! '. I told him the lady before us said that check out was 2 pm to which he said 'oh yea? its 12pm'. Honestly this is one of the worst places I've stayed. Others have given it 4 or 5 stars here and maybe we were just unlucky. But my advise would be to stay far away from this place.

When I'm in Cologne, the Windsor is my favorite among the hotels. It is the friendly reception, the casualness of the people working there. A really pleasant house. A good breakfast in the morning. What more could you want on a business trip?

We had booked two rooms on weekends. The one room was dirty the carpet full with brown stains disgusting.
During the shower the water ran into the bathroom because no more rubber on the shower door This means that the bathroom door is also softened and leaves. The curtains also full of eckeligen stains.
In the second room as far as everything OK just a completely mold shower curtain.
The breakfast is ok but everywhere dusty plastic flowers around a rum don't have to be.
A positive assessment is the central location.

The people running the hotel are really friendly and pleasant to deal with. Our room was in the basement so not very light but it had a door directly out into the backyard. Standard German style breakfast, but freshly cooked with decent variety.

Nice hotel located close to the Hansaring S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations, with very helpful staff. Rooms are OK, though our bathroom (in particular the shower) could use a little maintenance. Breakfast and a bottle of carbonated mineral water in the room was included in the rates for each day. Bed was comfy, too. Overall, a recommended accommodation for the price.

The hotel is clean and quiet and the breakfast is OK.
We had booked two rooms of a very well-known online portal and the rooms were in the basement. The Interior is functional but also very unkind and very old-fashioned to the part. For a weekend break, the hotel is but in order.

The staff is very friendly. The hotel itself is not very old-fashioned — a style that some people like. Who places value on modern hotels, should not dwell here. The room I had was small, but adequate. What was not beautiful, was the carpet with bleached out spots. As someone with chlorine would have played. The furniture is very old. The bed is comfortable and the linens were very clean. Generally speaking, the room was very clean.
The extremely small bathroom sink has bothered me in the bathroom, that also on the faucet completely calcified was, so that hardly any water, and then splashing came out. The hotel is very narrow building. So if quaint, small and with carpet you prefer — for it is good. Breakfast reminded if you previously has had breakfast with Grandma. Everything is lovingly prepared with plenty of choice.

Was given a room in the basement with no windows. There was no ventilation in the room and bathroom. The room smelled dust and mould. There were spider webs in the bathroom floor corners, which shows luck of cleanliness. Walls were thin and could hear noise from rooms around. Breakfast was good for the price.

Bad Service! We were in a different Hotel reposted without to be informed. From the outside it looks good.

This a ok Hotel. Don't expect too much. Service good and the people who work here are friendly. And don't take the room number 4. The Wifi connection is horrible.
