Clean, quiet, easy to access with smart card system. Great location right near checkpoint Charlie. Only stayed a few nights but can't fault the room or the service from the staff.

Don't get me wrong this is not a 5 * hotel. But for the price there is simply nothing bad to say about it. The staff were friendly, checking in was simple. The room was small but had everything you would need for a city break. The. Location is great and close to a number of walkable locations and the underground. Would definitely stay again if back in Berlin.

Do not stay on the 4th floor. I’m literally in a room on that floor right now as I write this and last night and tonight we’ve heard shouting and stomping all throughout the night. When I asked reception about it, I was told that the hotel stops at this floor so anything above it is not under their control. So basically, if there are noise issues, nothing can be done. We were woken up multiple times and we can’t change rooms since nothing is available (no other type of other remedy was offered either). This is also marked as a four star hotel; I’ve stayed at lots of hotels across Europe so I’m familiar with the standard and this is absolutely not a four star hotel. Maybe three at best but even three stars have separate bathrooms, more space and better decor. It was in a great location but the negatives are outweighing the positives at the moment.

Quiet space, good location, typical German industrial design. After a day of travel, all you want is a good rest.

Nice hotel in a very good location.
Our room was spacious, equipped with everything you need and especially very clean. Only the hair dryer was a little weak on the chest, but that was not bad.
The Metro station City center is just around the corner and also within walking distance is some (eg The Brandenburg Gate). The service staff is also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Excellent location on the Gendarmenmarkt. U2 and U 6 100m. The room was very clean.

There is no electricity socket next to the bed in my room… Small towels… Not that clean. The breakfast is OK However, great location and nice staff.

A nice and cosy room. Staff were excellent and experience was calm and peaceful. It's centered so that walking distances to sections of Berlin are not too far.

Hotel/entrance poorly signposted or Only at second glance.

However, the rooms are small and poorly cut.
As others have written, there are very few sockets and none of them within range of the bed.

Excellent service and small but nice rooms.

Very friendly staff, very good value for money. Would recommend to upgrade to the second-cheapest room, which is not a lot more expensive but much bigger and with a bath, which is very comforting after a long, cold day. Close to many interesting attractions, including the famous checkpoint Charlie, which is only a few minutes away by foot. Also near by restaurants of all sorts – from fast food, to moderate-priced restaurants, to fancy ones. The Berlin mall is 10 minutes walk, if you feel like shopping, and there is also a big supermarket, just around the corner, which is very convenient for people who decide not to include breakfast in their booking, such as myself. Highly recommended (:

We really enjoyed our stay here! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go and only used public transportation from the airport. The rooms were very clean and the hotel felt perfectly safe. However! Be aware that the two person rooms do not have a very private shower. It's actually in the room, and only two sides of it have frosted glass (The attached pictures are the view from the door and the view from the bed). The larger rooms do have a full separate bathroom. Other useful information: * Free Wi-Fi that worked well * Friendly staff * No hair dryer * Mini fridge and TV * Small bar downstairs * Only one nearby restaurant open late (Maximilians), but food was good and reasonably priced * Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby open during the day * 20-30 walk to Museum Island.

Good location Expands room. You can find restaurants where to eat around easily and the Metro and bus comfortably.

Excellent hotel with friendly staff and a central location. Rooms are clean and ideal for a long weekend. Located near a lot of Berlins sights and the massive Mall of Berlin (300 shops) all within walking distance. Would highly recommend this hotel to any one.

We stayed here for several nights and had a good experience. We arrived early and couldn't get into our room yet, but they held our luggage and gave us checked tags to collect them again when we came back. The room was small but comfortable. The bed came with two small duvets and two pillows, but you could request more pillows for no charge. In the room, hand soap was supplied for the sink, and a shampoo/soap/conditioner liquid was supplied in the shower. Towels were replaced every day. Washroom was small but functional. The shower though was just in the room — no privacy wall or curtain — so fair warning if you are sharing the room with someone you don't want seeing you showering aha. Staff were all friendly, and spoke English. Lobby was nice looking. The area felt safe and was close to Christmas markets, transit lines, some major attractions like checkpoint Charlie, and several food options including a grocery store. Good value for your money.

Cheap, accessible, and in a very nice part of town. The beds were nice — however, the pillows weren't great. They just gave you one flat pillow, and when we asked for more the poor lass behind the desk was ran off her feet at the bar and she'd have to go hunting upstairs for more. We told her leave it, it wasn't that important. The shower unit was abysmal though. Getting a nice medium heat was more like constantly fluctuating between ice and lava no matter how you spun the knobs. Otherwise it was decent. For the price it was better than a kippy Berlin hostel.

Central Hotel in Bln-Mitte, very close to Checkpoint Charlie. Clean VLT. Little room. Great breakfast in buffet style.

Location top. Breakfast more then okay. Communication in advance a little bit complicated. Could sort it out.

Nice hotel, comfortable and functional, the bathroom is quite large as well as the room, the whole environment is super heated. The breakfast is great, very rich and full of choice suitable for everyone. The staff is prepared and professional.
The only sore note is that the Wi-Fi doesn't work at all well.

A neat and silent hotel, no disturbances at all along with helpful staff. Well connected to city with subway at walking distance. A lot of historical places around the hotel to look around on your foot.

Good location but poor communication of what is included in the room upon check-in. Staff informed that "breakfast in on level 1, we can eat there". However, they did not advice that it will cost €17.40 per person, which is very expensive for their breakfast offering. We ate — — and subsequently found out about that cost. We explained to the manager and he plainly stated that it's too bad, "We were not wrong to inform you that breakfast is at Level 1. Breakfast is chargeable and it's all written out in your contract with Expedia. " Shame on their poor hospitality.

I really enjoy my stay here. A nice view, a clean room, great amenities and common spaces, nice central yet quite locstion: that's essentially what I'm looking for in a hotel in Berlin. There may be a lot more, but why would I care if there is still no way I'll stay inside a hotel to use it?! Berlin is a beautiful city with so much to offer on the streets, in museums, beautiful parks and markets, so do not fall for super deluxe options here, just go rational — your are in Germany.

Location is pretty great. Close to many famous landmarks as well as public transportation to get around the city. Friendly staff and well furnished rooms. Only complaint was that we ordered a room with two beds and received a room with one large bed instead.

The Hotel is clean, modern and close to the Metro in a quiet area.
At the end of the street, you can't hear cars despite the big Avenue

Courtesy and friendliness in the staff, location and Pythia perfect, pity that the rooms are a small cube with shower agglomerated in the micro bed at 1 square and 1/2… 1 single duvet and only 2 micro towels. No shower foam or soap or kettle… In short the hotel is very very very spartan… just for 1 or 2 nights… nn more. …

I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and I was pleasantly well.
We start from the location: great. The hotel is just a short walk from Stadmitte metro station, where the U2 line (which leads straight to Alexanderplatz) and the U6 line pass. Walking 10-15 minutes walk you can get to the Brandenburg Gate but with the subway you get really everywhere! A few meters from the entrance there is also a supermarket, various restaurants and bars where to have breakfast.
The hotel has a 24-hour reception, it allows the rental of bicycles (at an advantageous price compared to those that you see on the street), has a bar and a restaurant that we did not have the pleasure to try.
The room was small (but as far as we paid we didn't expect a suite). It has good amenities such as a refrigerator (empty, you can put what you want) and a safe. The room was cleaned every day and the towels dirty, changed with the clean ones. If you just have to find negative notes to the room: the carpet on the ground and the bathroom floor which was oddly "sticky" of you don't know what, but we over on it!
The overall rating is definitely positive! Recommended!

We have posted here already 3 times. This year we were very disappointed because the service has been very. It is noticed at breakfast, but also at the reception. Next year we will book somewhere else.

Good location within 5-10 minutes walk from Potsdamerplatz, and less than 15 minutes from Alexanderplatz. Decent hotel, room in good order, friendly staff. This is not a five star hotel but rather a side three to four star hotel in the center of Berlin. Good for a log stay or just the weekend.

It was ok… Room temp was a bit cold and you can't adjust it to high. No close to bed sockets to charge mobile. Close to station and fancy restaurants. It was good for two nights.

Really a nice hotel. Unfortunately, the rooms facing the main street are quite relatively noisy.

It's good for a brief overnight but a week-long stay is a bit too much for our box room. Staff were great and nothing was wrong as suc, just not a four star hotel…

The staff is friendly and accommodating. A shower in the room is so a little getting used to. What bothered me was the breakfast. We were this morning, it's breakfast Sunday at 10:30. Is possible on Sunday until 11:30. Well, Yes, everything looked pretty sad. Sausage, there are still a variety of salami and even tea sausage. When the cheese it looked no better. Or 14, — euro sorry this is not. The coffee tasted stale, as if the whole was brewed early and then hours has been located in the thermos. Otherwise everything great. Central location, clean rooms.

All were acceptable, in the ratio of price and quality, bed and breakfast accommodation just don't take, through 2 Street exit to the left location café with fresh sendvičami just a fairy tale, :).

We have made a very good experience with this hotel.
Arrival is very easy hotel is located close to Centre (walk 10min to the Brandenburg Gate) check in went smoothly only parking by car is difficult. We have then in the hotel parking lot set underground parking (€20 per night unfortunately a little expensive)
A double room for 2 nights and breakfast for 2 persons. The room was very clean, there was a shower-bathing tub, safe, minibar, Internet via LAN on the rooms, TV, W-LAN there is only in the lobby and on the 1st floor where the restaurant is located. Room service comes over every day. Breakfast is a buffet with a huge selection of food.

Room rather small, this clean and breakfast class. The location is super, public transport can be reached quickly and Dove Street, you get the car for 4, 50€ / d below.

Located right in the heart of the city. U-Bahn station two blocks away. Though facing a large street, traffic was always flowing, creating no noise or high pollution. Room cleaning was generally good. No breakfast was served in the morning, but that was what we had chosen. A supermarket was just around the corner, so we had no problem eating. Receptionists were kind and polite, and gave us all the answers we needed. Definitely would like to go back again.

Fabulous breakfast, absolutely. But why did I get a bloodstained pillow (though washed, of cause)? And why was it never changed.

Really well located. Clean, safe, quiet — because located in a side street. There is not much infrastructure, for that I didn't choose but also it me. Breakfast is typical standard hotel breakfast — is preferable to seek one of the Nice Cafés of nearby.
