I am quite reluctant to give a 5 star rating but I have been in this hotel a couple of times and it is just great. Staff at the reception is welcoming and checks you in fast. The rooms are nicely designed with good amenities. The breakfast is good. I like the fact that they have a good gym and spa in the basement (sauna & steam room).

Lovely hotel! The room was gorgeous! The shower was huge with 2 different shower heads… could have fit 4 people in there if you are feeling adventurous. The concierge was very accommodating and printed our train tickets for us. The breakfast was amazing! So many different types of bread, croissants, cheeses, yogurt, and other items to choose from. There is a gym and a sauna. The lobby has a cute lounge area that they serve drinks in. Perfect place for a nightcap at the end of a long day.

We have stayed in the Crowne Plaza in Berlin city centre every year for the past 10 years. Rooms are clean and well appointed, as we usually stay for a week or more, there is not enough storage space. The rooms were updated a few years ago and were in my opinion better before this. Staff are great in particular Fritz the concierge, who is one of the best in Europe, the front desk can be sometimes a bit lax. The buffet breakfast is outstanding, with a huge choice and is well prepared. The location in superb with good access to shopping and the Tiergarten. There are many excellent restaurants in easy walking distance. The parking is excellent in the two car parks. The rooms are a standard size for Europe which can be a bit small if you have a lot of luggage. We will miss staying here again this year but we feel that standards have dropped slowly over the last few years, because of this we now stay in another nearby hotel for our annual visit.

Extremely rude staff. Upon oversleeping I got literally harassed. The cleaning staff had the audacity to downright open the door and walk in on me. They would not stop knocking and ring g the room's phone for an entire hour, even though they had plenty of free room's, — and I have told them previously that I'd stay one more night. Which I didn't. Bc screw you, really. Rooms are alright, comfy bed. Had to change my initial room, Bc the shower would not stop dripping. Overall an extremely unpleasant experience.

Great hotel in the city centre, everything is close enough. From the airport was about 25 minutes, just because there were traffic jams, without them, it's about 15 minutes, very close. If it is important for you to eat in the hotel — choose boldly it, the food is very satisfying, fresh, tasty! The hotel staff keep adding something fresh, bringing new ones, adding a buffet you can find here from slicing salmon to Nutella for kids, very fresh fruit, etc. I'm writing this, and I'll soon go for breakfast at this hotel, which ends at 10:30 a. M. Local time.

In a perfect place of town if you are coming in to see all the museums and historical sites! The rooms are perfect in terms of size and internet and heating/ air conditioning are great! Also, they have their own tourist guide down in the main lobby from 8am until 4pm almost every day that can help you find the best opportunities to build your day and visits around! Also, there is a grocery store a block away and a ton of restaurants within a close distance! Can make any and all visits to Berlin feel great!

Nice hotel with an excellent spa. Breakfast is also very complete with a lot of options of sausages, juices, cheeses. But you have to go early, when some option runs out sometimes is not refilled (salmon). Rooms are open and clean.

Great location, staff, room comfort and cleanliness. Bed is a bit hard for some nights (great for those long walk days). Very highly recommended. When you are dropped off and see the surrounding areas, do not worry, the neighborhood is very safe for any time of day and any of the metro entrances are safe as well.

Good hotel with friendly efficient staff. However the name is misleading, Crowne Plaza Berlin, Potsdamer Platz because it’s NOT in Potsdamer Platz… it’s a good 10-15 minute walk away. This was disappointing to us as we are not as young as we used to be and it was around 30 degrees C each of the 5 days we stayed there which made all that walking unpleasant.

Hotel was very good, attentive, well maintained and helpful. Kitchen very good, breakfast excellent.
Location ideal for Berlin shopping.
Climate facility no longer contemporary in the rooms.

Beautiful Hotel with many free services.

The location is at a shopping area, with lots of brand names like Zara, LV, Adidas etc nearby. It is also close to supermarkets. The bus goes to the attractions like Brandenburg Gate in about 15 minutes which is fairly decent. The breakfast is excellent, with many choices. The room is quite big as well. The only issue I had was that when I requested for an extra chair from room service, I had to ask twice before it was actually delivered. Else, everything was great.

I loved the hotel. I came in the morning to leave things and go for a walk, and I immediately met. The room was clean and comfortable. Even a compliment on the pillow. Location so good staff very friendly only Im little bit upset about before I arrive preference twin room and firm pillow but they didn't give that until I reminded them.
About pillows I call them 3 times they said we will send u but not until when I go down and ask again.

Small room for my taste but very clean. The hotel has no swimming pool but it has a fitness Spa with 1 sauna that works and 1 Hammam which was cold during our stay. Beware the consumption at the bar are very expensive.

Crowne Plaza Berlin City is right at the heart of the city moments away from shopping and just off Berlin Zoo. It is a 20 minute drive from the airport, TXL, which is about €20 in a taxi. The hotel is nice and on a quiet street. The rooms are modern and well planned and all rooms have saved and coffee and tea making facilities. The bathrooms are small but well planned. They have a decent sized gym and a good pool. The restaurant and bars are good and reasonable priced. Overall a good hotel right at the city centre.

Great breakfast. The rooms are small but cozy. The bathroom is not comfortable. The sauna helped to warm up after the February walks. The room overlooked the street but was not noisy. The room had a stale cigarette smell.

Nice room, friendly staff, good breakfast. But too little service staff in the breakfast room. As a result, used dishes were not always cleared up in a timely fashion and vacant seats were not covered in time for new guests.

5 nights We stayed at this hotel. We were very pleased with the friendliness and courteousness of the staff. We have rarely experienced such a thing. The breakfast was excellent, all the special wishes were met. The proximity to the centre of Berlin is unique.

The entire hotel and staff are very nice and polite. The rooms are small but very cozy and great equipped. There is a pillow menu, a sleep drink if you like, a little bottle of water for free and coffee and hot chocolate. Breakfast has a huge selection. Only parking at 24 euros a day is very expensive. We definitely come back!

I was a guest for 3 nights the room was comfortable, functional and cared for in detail, staff qualified and helpful, excellent location to explore the city by public transport, thanks to the proximity to the metro stations.

Nice hotel and double room in the middle of Berlin. Proud prices in August for a 4 star hotel why a birthday attention is not too much wishes. After the first morning at breakfast no coffee was in sight (other guests were served). I complained to my Geburtstsg at the admission to the breakfast salon about the missing coffee and mentioned my birthday! Was ridiculed by the lady but with a chocolate candy platter (for breakfast! ) compensated by the cellars. For what is a birthday trip in a 4 star hotel in Germany today if you can not expect anything on the day of Honor and you are also ridiculed.

The room was very small. Especially the ceiling in the bathroom is far too low. And it should be considered whether it is smart to leave children on the rest floor. This misses the meaning of this floor if you don't have any rest. Breakfast mediocre.

5 stars. The building looks very inconspicuous outside but is very beautiful and large from the inside. Would be pleasantly greeted at the entrance. There were plenty of seating options and the bar looks great. Prices were okay.

We stayed on this hotel for three nights. The hotel was fairly empty, and we were upgraded to a deluxe room. About the room: The cleanliness of the room was lacking: there was dust on the tea cups and glasses, and a lot of dust in the tea, coffee and sugar holder. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was nice, since it had a shower and a bathtub. Unfortunately the AC didn't work properly, since it didn't heat the room, and we were offered a electric heater, which was OK. The breakfast: The breakfast was OK. A lot of selection of breads, yogurts, meats and cheeses, but not enough selection of fruit. Also for a full English breakfast there was no beans. The staff: Every member of the staff was very friendly and pleasant. The service: On one of the days, we decided to sleep in, and only left the room at 1 pm. Our room was not serviced, staff only came to bring a small bottle of water (which they did every day), but no cleaning staff. The location: The location of the hotel overall was not central, as we already knew, but was close enough for me, since it's a easy 20 minute walk distance from Potsdamer Platz.

The top hotels and comfort at a price more than correct in view of the rooms and the overall service offered.
Super Good breakfast and room service is very efficient.

The service desk was helpful and friendly but overhaul the service like the cleaning was lacking. The room was not serviced after noon and severally lacked in cleanliness. The bath tub couldn't retain the water and the heating system didn't heat at all. The decoration is fine for a 4 star hotel. The hall is very well decorated. Maybe I was unlucky or this is just what is to be expected in this hotel. I'm an IHG member and have stayed several times before on other Crown Plazas. But overall can't say the stay was negative.

I attended Crown Plaza for a conference. While the event was rather mediocre; the venue itself was great. My interaction with the staff was also decent. Well behaved and professional. The location of the Hotel is also a huge plus point, Especially with regards to the food-options around Wittenbergerplatz.

Luxury Hotel But at the same time informal. The rooms are not very big but comfortable and the bed comfortable. The fitness area is complete while the Wellness room offers only a sauna and a low-temperature Turkish bath. Merit note for the restaurant. All in all the environment is quiet and relaxing.

The hotel is cool, two drawbacks: no taps, 1 bottle of water at check-in, the fridge is empty, you need to look for a vending machine!

The Wilson's restaurant is known for its prime rib. Thanksgiving There is your dinner, which is only recommended! We keep coming back.

The room was clean and was also decently cleaned, yet the furnishings had excessive signs of use. Among other things, the wooden furniture on the edges was all scratched by beer bottle opening attempts.
Another point I have to complain about is the volume in the room on the morning departure of other hotel guests.

The staff is super friendly and fluent in English, the room is clean and spacious, the beds are comfortable, the internet is fast and reliable. The hotel also has a pool, sauna and they're perfect if you want some relaxation during your visit. I can't really find a flaw with the hotel, I just had a great time here, and would love to visit again!

Great value for the price. Room rates for a hotel in downtown located good, room also good, staff very friendly and helpful but the FRÜHSTÜCKBUFET is for the high price in my opinion completely inappropriate.

Very good hotel. Rooms need updating but still clean and comfortable. Good selection of cable channels — even have an Israeli channel and also a rare place where a kosher breakfast is served.

On the other hand, she looked at a concert hall and every night at the exit of the show there was a musician who played the guitar under our window. Very annoying when you just fall asleep!
Our room being in front of a service area, we were the first morning awakened very early by the staff and the trolleys…
The big negative is still the lounge! Never before seen: we had to go down 3 evenings (out of 5) to ask for it to be supplied. There is no dedicated staff and the small fridge available to guests only contains 5 beers and 1 bottle of white wine as alcohol. A fair bit! I can understand that it is not possible to assign a server permanently to the lounge but in this case there must be one that goes regularly to make sure that everything is in order. Do not forget that the customer pays to have this service!
Breakfast is not served in the lounge as usually in IHG hotels but in the restaurant room. It is very good and the service is impeccable.
Another negative point is that the signs in the hotel are non-existent. I never found the fitness center!
Finally, it is untrue to say that this hotel is in Potsdamer Platz: It is 1, 2 km, or 15 minutes walk…
In conclusion: We were very disappointed with this hotel and do not think about going back on our next trip.

I attended the Berlin Salsa Congress 2017, which had a few conference rooms underground fitted for its workshops there. For the little I have seen of lobby and even center, this is definitely a very high-end facility in pristine conditions. I can't comment on other aspects, as I didn't stay overnight as guest.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I recommend not to dine in the hotel restaurant, very costly for the quality and quantity.

The hotel is located in a decent area, close to the Kurfürstendamm and the Europa Shopping Centre. The hotel is a bit crowded sometimes (e. G. Because of conferences at the hotel).

A good hotel to visit Berlin. Close to the metro and Potsdamer Platz. Room comfortable and clean.

We stayed at this hotel because it seemed pretty central and with good transport communication. Once we arrived everything was as expected except for some details such as outlets, poor footwear or the safety deposit box without battery. This was not a problem because you only call to reception sent a technician who fixed it right away. For everything else, we had a nice stay, especially for the convenience of having public transport so close. Keep in mind that if you go with a reservation, already paid and tourism, at the end of the stay has to pay the tourist tax, you advise to do the same check-in.

We have just got back off our trip to berlin. The room was clean and suited us for our holiday… there are a few things I would like to pick up on, I thought for the price we paid we would have had a bigger bathroom as only one person at a time could use it, Which made it a squeeze if I needed anything out the bathroom and the towels smelt of smoke. Having a shower and drying off with a smokey towel it not good and needs addressing. The doors out the front kept stopping the starting at lobby but I found it amusing, others might not. Breakfast is very nice but I would have liked to have seen bigger pork sausages and fried eggs. I like milk in the morning but no milk on side. All this is me being picky due how much I paid… but overall good service and ok stay.

Great location! Friendly staff! The room we stayed in was much smaller than we liked. We had 2 twin beds in a room that is sized for a queen/king bed. The shower design was different and took some getting use to. Close to all public transportation stops & Hop-on & Hop-off tourist bus stops.

I will start with the good stuff: 1) excellent location near the shopping district and about 5.5 km from mall of Berlin. 2) staff are friendly 3) facility is relatively clean, with nice lobby. I didn't use the gym or the pool so I can't comment on it. 4) breakfast was average. The bad things: 1) being a very frequent traveler, this hotel is at best 4 stars 2) rooms are small and bathroom is average. 3) I had to change my room twice. First room beds sheets were not clean, 2ed room was a smoking room and smelled bad.

It's around a five to ten minute walk from Potsdamer Platz although there is a subway stop immediately outside the hotel by the lotus shaped entertainment venue. It's chic with great sized rooms and has a dedicated run desk with towels, refreshments and run routes. Something I've never seen and if I wasn't injured, would love to have taken advantage of. Also a really cool bar and very friendly staff.

Great location shopping area, 150 Mt to Metro, room and clean and very elegant rooms, excellent sauna, chilly swimming pool, excellent service, excellent breakfast with prosecco and fresh cheese selection, besides the rest!

Right next to the Tempodrom, hotel is good to withdraw to at fairs/events for meetings. Location as the hotel not helpful but very central. Why it's called "Potsdamer Platz", however me remains a mystery as the Berliner…

Very good overall accommodations. Free Wi-Fi, beeakfast, a gym and a swimming pool. They picked and dropped us off the airport in a very timely fashion. I would come back here again.

We really enjoyed our five night stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. There was plenty of choice for breakfast. We would stay here again if in Berlin. We thank all the hotel staff for making our stay so memorable.

Room was super nice. Very high ceilings, clean and comfy beds, and great staff. The fitness center has the basics of what you'd need plus is 24 hours which is a big plus.

Great location in West Berlin, close to UBahn and SBahn. However, you might want to stay in the East ;). Check out the nearby Kadawe — the largest department store in continental Europe. Also, if you have kids it's near the zoo.

Location is alright, rooms are super pretty and clean, staff is very nice and helpful but a bit slow during breakfast, breakfast is great though and they have free Wi-Fi, which is great.

Crowne Plaza Berlin-Potsdamer Platz is a nice hotel, however there is some space for improvement. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are convenient with a great shower. Only the staff could be a bit more attentive. When checking in only one counter was open while there were five guests waiting. Not that there was no additional staff, but the others employees behind the counter prefered to discuss some problems with a delivery service. Breakfast was tasty, however the service after peak time was not the best, as refilling the buffet took only happened on request tough.

Very good Spa area. Hotel Bar and Restaurant also fine. The Club Lounge. All in all, thank you!

No free Wi-Fi, well a very small allowance of one. They also didn't mention the city tax we would have to pay (I know it's not their fault but an unexpected bill at the end wasn't nice). The rooms are tidy and clean, very comfortable indeed. The bar downstairs is nice and the hotel staff are friendly.

Stayed here for 3 days, when the next day the room was not trimmed away. My complaints are still waiting for the Manager's apology. In addition to these, there is a very good central location close to the KeWeDe, the front desk staff was very friendly, breakfast was great but the room cleaning staff are so bad.

Really good beds good, rooms well. Breakfast would be good, if the service were not easily "overtaxed". Why? Coffee is just important at breakfast for me and if there are two coffee machines both constantly fail and also for multiple clues (> 5 and more) still nothing has been done… then unfortunately also the positive is slightly negative.
Lobby is great, can you to hold on. Would sleep there again.
Wellness isn't around, does not have to have, I've seen much better here.

Decent room and breakfast. Reasonable prices especially when you book through the IHG web-site. Room service past 10pm is very slow: it took them 1 hour to bring a panini and currywurst. And it happened only after I called them two times!

A normal hotel. Clean, fairly spacious. From the gate and the Reichstag on foot. Near sports Park and many restaurants. Quite liked.

Very good with my wife there in April 2015 and eaten by an attentive courteous waiter know. Hotel should be in the near future to change the owner. Hopefully it stays good Service and Great food. Prices are in the frame.

Good hotel that has been booked for a visit to Tempodrom. Rooms very good, excellent beds. But no free Wi-Fi. An absolute Nogo. Excellent on-site restaurant, the open show kitchen and the competent personnel stand out. Here, bar radiates the charm of Chicago, plus for the staff. We were completely satisfied.

Wow. What can I say? This is easily the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The Wyndham Grand is situated in a very quiet, safe area of the city near Mockenbruke U-Bahn, and is only about ten minutes' walk from the Potsdamer Platz; from there you can easily reach all of the main sights (Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie etc). This understated but magnificent hotel's brand of luxury is under-stated but top class. From the wooden floors in the room and very comfortable bed, the beautiful bathroom and lovely quiet atmosphere throughout, staying here really made my trip. Needless to say the whole place is absolutely spotless. The breakfast buffet is unbelievable, the staff friendly and efficient (all speak fluent English of course), and the fitness room, for a hotel, is actually pretty good! When one stays in hotels, there's usually one or two little gripes but I can honestly say that there is nothing I'd change. When I come back to Berlin one day, there's only one place I'm staying. A huge thank you to everyone there for making my stay so memorable. Berlin's a wonderful city with wonderful people and the only reason I'm giving the Wyndham Grand five stars is because I can't give it six. Stunning.

My stay was greatly enriched by this hotel. The excellent location and rooms are clean and well equipped. The breakfast buffet is so rich and was the best. But the really friendly and very attentive staff is sensational. It was always fine with them. One thing is certain on the next visit to Berlin I'll reside right here again.

4 stars — Nice location, very close to host of restaurants, zoo and shopping areas. 1/2 star — Bad experience with the room service food among the worst ever had and expensive.

The first impression in the lobby was super. Looks chic, friendly staff.
The room was very small. Much worse the bathroom tub with shower but was closer. I'm not the smallest with just over 1, 90 m, but that the shower head in the highest position is only up to my nose, I have never seen. ERGO: Shower hunched over or kneeling.
The selection at the breakfast buffet was top, but the buns were very hard/dry. The staff had to be pointed out after 20 minutes, that at our table still dishes of the guests stood in front of us.
The pool is very small, with four people at the same time it feels already constrained if you want to swim lanes. Also, he seems to have even a few years under their belt.
In the hotel bar, we had to wait about 10 minutes until we were able to place our order. Minutes, the drinks were provided then without comment. Friendly is different. We had to go at the counter to pay, because we were no longer served. To ask €6 in this lousy service for a beer is downright cheeky.
Overall, the hotel is not to be recommended.

I was a guest at Crowne Plaza in the last year
but was that what I this time experienced on the 5th floor,
have been really bad.
I was not at all satisfied with the cleanliness.
The maid on the floor were too loud, you could
hardly sleep.
The maid looked like "Maid" at Queen Elisabeth but
they have geputz such as at Stadtreinigunswerke;).
Breakfast was rich and beautiful but the staff

The hotel is located at the Nürnberger Straße in Charlottenburg in Berlin. A super location. Close to Metro stations and also a shopping street and the KaDeWe department store or also Hard Rock located Cafe, Starbucks, MacDonalds, Burger k etc. The hotel itself is very nice. The staff very nice. Our room was quite small, the bathroom with bathtub and a Durschvorhang, who was not clean and somewhat disgusting for a 4-star hotel. The bathroom itself was not 4 star worthy, old and it has felt not very comfortable bathroom. Was disruptive, that's no free Wi-Fi for guests of the hotel were per day even € 10, — — be required if you want to use it — and in this day and age. If you 1 euro per day, nobody says what, No 10 euro sure but at the present time. The staff at the reception was extremely nice and helpful, as well as in the bar. We are a young couple and made a city trip, this hotel is situated really super. Top location. But in this hotel I would not sleep because it deserves no 4 stars in some areas. After all, you paid for and you want to feel at home also.

A 3 star rating for a 4 star hotel. I'll start with the negative things in bullet points:
-I've got no room I had reserved
-In the "real" room a floor lamp not working
-Plug in the mini bar broken
-Air conditioning can only not warm cold in all variants-
-Picture & sound skips in the TV
-The broken bathtub faucet (Alternatively, there was a shower head to the filling)
-Water temperature much too low it would have been pleasant than (subjective)
-Information about the rooms and the conditions only on demand
-A little dust, a little water spots and bad then tiles
These were the points I gave the friendly young lady at the check-out. I must point out clearly that none of this would have been "vital"! It was only many little things that have annoyed at the crowd. Would I registered earlier shortcomings, I would have probably also another room. Basically, the hotel is very tastefully decorated. The rooms are large and useful equipped. Unfortunately, the artisans have made their job in some places wasn't too good. And also when you must develop a little sensitivity for the special places. It was not so, I would have had problems to touch anything. Traces that everyone knows if he has even cleaned at home are simple.
On the other hand, bar and restaurant are insane. The breakfast is plentiful. It is refilled to the end so that you can come later. Pretty much everyone should find something like him.

We (5 persons, 2 rooms) were at the beginning of August for 5 days at the Wyndham Grand. The price-performance ratio (90€/night for 2 persons with Breakfast about DERTOUR booked) was good, but there were many small defects, which you should fix it, so only 3 out of 5 stars. The location is acceptable. Something Outside, not a particularly nice environment, a lot of land around the Hotel. Started our stay so that our Zimmerkarten didn't work. The staff has all 5 cards in the same room-coded. About DERTOUR, we had a free Upgrade to the next higher category, the further upgraded. So we had a 36m2 large room with huge bathroom, everything is new and elegantly furnished. Large safe with combination lock. Furthermore, kettle with tea and instant coffee. For the room came safely 5 points are awarded. Cleanliness could be improved. On the floor lay in one place for 5 days in the Dirt of the predecessors. During our entire stay was the TV reception is bad, assuming you have managed to get the device at all on TV reception. The TV has numerous functions, among others, Could you also rate the Hotel. However, they only wanted to know if the light in the room like. Lamps and light there is, in fact, very many. The Breakfast room was for the number of beds of the hotel too small. Have been to many better 4-star Hotels visited. The staff at the Check-In has "screwed" (original wording) to tell us where we can find in the Hotel. O. K. You have to do this with a call rescheduled. But far worse was the cleanliness of the two of us booked the Deluxe rooms. Here you could pretty much everywhere, "Sau" to write. D. H. Dust pretty much everywhere. Especially on the inside of the doors. All the pages full of dust. Furthermore, Make-up mirror (about 10 qcm), the Cabinet and on the light switch. The complaint resulted in then the next day with the regular housekeeping a 90% condition. So we would have it but accepted from the outset. The glasses in the room were not replaced. In sum, I hope, however, that it is not Standard in this Hotel. Since the price of the room but fit, I would probably come back.

Strong 4 *. Good breakfast, nice room, comfortable bed and pillows, quiet the crowd, next to a bunch of stores, across the Zoo, good transport accessibility. Great cocktail bar on 1 floor, cool bartender can be decent nakoktelit′sâ (cocktail 9, 8 euros). Domestic prices are quite acceptable. Especially find fault. Well maybe that no Russian-speaking receptionist, disposable slippers, and claimed Russian channel, well Yes and no need to.
