We loved our five night stay at La Tamise! The location is perfect and the rooms are quiet and well — appointed. What makes this small hotel stand out among others is the staff. They could not have done more to make us feel at home and welcomed us each time we entered the doors. With the strike in full force, Georgie helped us navigate away from protestors and gave us ideas of things to do. His recommendations for restaurants were perfect. We can’t wait to visit this gem of a hotel again! Merci beaucoup!

Very friendly. Great service. Breakfast fantastic. Very central. Everything worth seeing is at the door and almost on foot. It is quiet, since in a small side street. Can only be recommended!

Wonderful, small hotel with very friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms are also luxurious, lovingly furnished. Nothing is missing and everything is very clean… and already in the morning at breakfast you have the feeling of being a valued guest and not a number. We would love to come back…

The hotel is in this perfect location for visiting Paris. Our room was great, the staff were excellent, as was the breakfast each morning. We would definitely stay again the next time we visit Paris for a weekend.

There is only one bottle of water in the room. Even if you stay there with multiple people. If you ask for another bottle of water, but they will charge you for it at the hotel minibar rate. Seems like poor service for a 300 dollars a night hotel that supposedly claims exceptional service.

Excellent hotel, room is tidy and clean. Mattress is very comfortable. Location is perfect for shopping. Staff is very friendly and nice. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed here at the end of April; what a great place! The staff were incredible: friendly, helpful, and attentive. The hotel is very quaint, and perfect to celebrate an anniversary (that’s why we were there). Just steps from the garden Tuileries. The room was well equipped, with everything that one could really use, the most important thing to me was the coffee pot. There are not a lot of rooms, so if you are expecting a typical US hotel, you’re out of luck; this was much better. I liked the interaction we had everyday with the staff, they really made the trip special. One thing that should be noted; if you are driving, I don’t believe there are any parking places. We took a cab from the airport, and the hotel called the cab for us to return to the airport. We did not have a car, nor did we need one with the hotel’s location. If you’re reading this, then you are curious about this hotel, I encourage you to book here, it’s not the cheapest; but it is worth the cost for the location!

A wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Paris. Cozy but lovely rooms. Courteous and competent staff. Close to restaurants and bars. Walking distance to the best attractions. L'll stay here every time I come to Paris.

Charming hotel with great caring staff. We loved our room and were quite happy with the service we received. We loved the bathroom and hot showers were very soothing after long walks in Paris. The hotel is located in the best part of Paris and an easy walk to many cafes, shopping and attractions. We will certainly stay here again.

This was absolutely the best service and coolest hotel. We loved how the 20 rooms allowed for individual customer service and getting to know other guests hanging out in the hotel bar. The room was perfect — very clean, modern, stocked with water and plenty of outlets. We loved the layout and the view. We will definitely be back!

Mother & daughter trip. We spent 10 days in London and Paris and by far this was the best hotel. Amazing staff. They were very helpful with suggestions for great restaurants. They made my daughter a cup of chamomile tea when she wasn't feeling well and brought it up to our room. They pay attention to the little details. They even gave us a box of homemade madelines to take on the train with us. Loved it!

I've stayed in lots of hotels but this one wins hands down for location, quality and most of all for the lovely staff. It is very small (and the rooms are tiny) but the service is impeccable. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again next time I am in Paris.

Completely overpriced hotel. Rooms are extremely small as well as bathrooms. Breakfast leaves to be desired.

Older style Hotel, but in a great location between the Louvre and the Opera house and Metro stop is a good five minutes, quiet area in the evening.

The room was quirky and different than American hotels but my wife and I absolutely loved it. The shower was great, the concierge as wonderful, and the location was perfect and near a lot of integral Parisian sights. I would absolutely recommend it. I will be back. C'est magnifique!

Was just there this august — great parisian authentic hotel with history and character. Other reviews are correct, if you are expecting modern, large, luxury — go somewhere else. But if you are looking for the old paris hausmanian charm-this is the place. Had a 3 balcony corner room on the 6th floor — wow! you could see the louvre, the tip of eiffel tower twinkling at night and the roof tops of most older buildings in the neighborhood. Clean, small room but good enough to sleep at night, out all day from 8am to 10 or 11 pm enjoying all the great paris sites. Would recommend. Tip — at first the breakfast for 12 euros seems like a lot, but compared to nearby cafes, you pay the same but all you can eat! coffes, croissants, breads, egg, bacon, fruit juices, cereal, etc. Good deal.
