The hotel is centrally located in the Vendome area. It is nearby lots of attractions and restaurants. The room that we got was standard and clean, but had a lot of natural light. Minus one star for the check-in process. There seemed to be a lot of confusion between the front desk employees, and our room wasn't ready by the standard time (we had to wait another 20-30 minutes before getting escorted to the room). The amenities (e. G. Breakfast) weren't explained to us either. Other than that little hiccup, the hotel is a great place to stay if you're in Paris to visit!

Superb location in the first nearby most of what a tourist needs with friendly multi lingual staff that understands a travelers priority’s. Marina at reception made a sincere effort to insure our stay was enjoyable and effortless, an air conditioning problem in July was resolved with an upgrade to a suite and a bottle of bubbly with a smile! Thank you Marina as it isn’t the problem that is important but rather how you handled it which was perfect.

Very nice renovation that combines the time that passes to a contemporary spirit… I really liked the bright tones of the rooms.

Great location nearby the beautiful Place Vendome. The hotel rooms are small, which is common in Paris. Even the suites are very small but do have a separate sitting are. They recently upgraded the air conditioning and some. Roons were having problems. My first stay in was downgraded from my suite to a basic room which was miniscule but at least cool. Later that week I came back and the suite I was allocated had working air conditioning. Breakfast is excellent and a wide selection. We service in the hotel is great — friendly and warm, helpful and timely. Room decor is modern and tasteful but no wow factor. Overall a good stay in a great location.

Lovely hotel and great staff. We travelled with our 2 month baby and they had everything already set up in the room for her upon arrival. Great location as well.

I had a great experience at the Renaissance Vendome. The location was great for me… literally a block and a half from the Metro station, a 5 minute walk to the Louvre, 20 min walk to Notre Dame and about 25 to the Eiffel Tower. If you don’t enjoy walking everywhere, like I said thre Metro station is pretty much right there… and it’s easy to get anywhere on the Metro. It’s located in a very upscale and quiet neighborhood, on side street, with great little cafes all around to grab a bite to eat. The staff was A++ and went out of their way to please. I would definitely stay here again when in Paris.

More than average experience. As soon as I got there, something was wrong. But where was the robe? Answer: "Oh sorry, we don't have any more". It's 10:00 in the morning… And it was a sequence throughout the reservation. The pool is fresh, the warm sauna and the hammam is barely hot. The pinnacle was reached when I was denied a second tea. The policy of the house is 1 tea per person… Personally I will not go back.

Yes the rooms are small but they are very nice. Besides your in Paris how much time are you really going to spend in your room. The staff was amazing, the hotel was clean, the have a bar that somehow always had a crowd.

Great staff and service. Tons of amenities as well as a restaurant. Restuatant is very nice, but crowded and also very over priced.

We had a king suite that was about the size of a telephone booth. The bed had a hump in the middle making the edges about an inch lower and was not very comfortable. Otherwise the staff was friendly and helpful, there were actual TV stations in English. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of many attractions. The Wifi worked fine and the turn-down service and the goodies they left in the room were appreciated.

We have just stayed for 3 nights in the Vendome, got to say it is the best experience I have had in a hotel in a long time (and I stay in a lot of hotels). The reception staff are excellent and made us feel very welcome from the moment we walked through the door, they could not do enough. I’ve also got to mention the breakfast team in the restaurant, it was a pleasure to go to breakfast each morning, they are a credit to the hotel. I see other reviews have mentioned the small rooms but hey, you are in the middle of Paris. Our room had everything we needed and was very smart, as a plus it even had outside space. There is currently building work going on but it does not impact any part of the hotels running, my wife didn't even notice it was happening. When I come back to Paris I will be staying here, anywhere else would just be a disappointment.

Amazing hotel with incredible staff and customer service. When we had an issue with the air conditioner in the room that could not be immediately fixed, the hotel upgraded us to a larger room for no additional fees. Highly recommend this hotel.

The room was nice. We have loved everything except for the fact that our tub wasn't properly cleaned before we were given our room. However, that was an easy fix and the staff has been so kind and accommodating! The restaurant downstairs is to die for — so worth it.

Super friendly service. Rooms were very clean. English was no problem here, you should greet them in french but they will assist you if you don't.

Very disappointed. Hotel split our rooms. 1 is on 5th floor and 1 is third floor. Staying six nights and they can't even manage to get us all on the same floor even! Fire alarm went off tonight and had to use the stairs to get on lower level of course. Was worried about my daughter as she was on a different floor than me and my son. Doors locked and she used different stairway. Staff tried to say she could've gone through the doors. They were locked! Receptionist desk unfriendly. Waitress at breakfast finally came around, once we ordered and food was delivered we didn't see her again. No coffee refill which was ok being as it was so bitter. The air conditioner is mediocre at best. Never gets cool or dry enough. Our sheets feel wet. Next time we will stay six nights in Paris it will definitely be somewhere else.

This is a nice and well run hotel, but its best feature is its location, mere minutes from the 1 Line on the Metro. It's surprisingly affordable for the fancy area it's located in, especially compared to many of the extremely high end hotels nearby.

Spa really top: Swimming pool/sauna/hammam and gym. Relaxing Moment and massages that are worth it!

Very disappointed for the price of the room we could have the tele if you want to see a movie it's 16 euros shameful even the water bottles are paying more the bathrooms are not very clean.

This is a wonderful hotel. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast, which was included free for us, was great. Located on quiet street near all the sites. We will go back on our next visit to Paris.

A location and excellent services. Many cafes, restaurants and shops close by. A short walk from everything. The staff of the late-night EXCELLENT, the morning leave much to be desired.

Over priced for what it is.

A swim in the heart of Paris enchants a rainy Sunday in Paris. The spa at this hotel to the neat architecture keeps its promises. The heated indoor pool prepares the muscles for the 45 minute massage. The next step of the day is the hammam (very hot and very humid) or the sauna.
The players are listening and are professional. The premises are clean and very welcoming.

I booked a room on this site and thought is was a "best rate" and the fine print read that is was a non refundable purchase rate. They charged my card $4000 and are now refusing to let me cancel. And the reservation is not for 3 more months! It's not like they couldn't re book the room. And, we are Gold Elite members. I won't ever stay at this hotel, or ay Marriott in Paris for that matter and we will most likely not keep our rewards account with Marriott any longer. Make sure you read the fine print when you hold a room! This one cost me $4000 and maybe my job.

A VERY nice hotel, great location, very professional staff, quite helpful. Rooms are small but they're just for sleeping in, you should be out seeing the city! If you are in the Marriott rewards system the Wi-Fi and breakfast can be cheap or free. The breakfast is very good but the food selection is mandated by Marriott, not by the Pinxo restaurant that it is prepared and served in (see separate Pinxo review), it is virtually the same spread as at the Marriott Rive Gauche (Paris). Nice pool and sauna, helps after all the walking. There is a lavomatique (coin laundromat) close at 24 Place de Marche St. Honore, just a few blocks away, easy walk even carrying laundry. Lots of close cafes and restaurants, research them carefully, some are ripoffs, some very good.

This hotel, although the rooms are on the smaller side, is very well located, right near the Louvre, and is very comfortable. It is the staff that make this hotel, as they are without doubt extremely professional, friendly, and caring, and go out of their way to assist with any request put before them. We would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Paris.
